I’ve rehearsed everywhere in the GTA. This is my favorite by far. Great staff, great rooms, great location (parking you don’t have to fight over or stress about tickets or pay anything at all for!) - and lots of reliable good quality gear on-site. The owner Ricky is hella nice and cares for and looks after everybody above and beyond what you would get anywhere else. If you haven’t checked this studio out, DO IT. I don’t say this often, but it’s worth the price of the 407 😂 And if you live nearby - I envy you !!

Great Place to play. The staff is kind and welcoming. The rehearsal room is well-equipped, clean, comfortable and with great sound. The equipment is adequate and in perfect condition.

The staff here are attentive and kind offering friendly conversation and even coffee.The Sound has excellent hours and great parking. The rooms themselves are equiped for all levels of musicians from acoustic to big bands. I think this is the best studio in terms of room layout and the equipment is top notch. Im going to be here writing songs often and the proximity to 407 is a major plus even during rush hour it is easy to access The Sound.

Well equipped rehearsal space and awesome, friendly staff - what more could you want?

Wonderful practice space, the room was big, clean and super well equipped with everything we needed and more (we booked studio 3).

The owner, Ricky, came in on his day off just to say hi and welcome us since it was our first time at the studio. Super friendly staff as well, they were extremely accommodating. Nothing but good things to say and would 100% book here again.

If you're looking to rehearse in the GTA as a large band or even just a duo, look no further - cannot recommend this place enough!

Justina from Sounds of Joy Toronto was a delight to work with. I booked her to surprise my wife with music for our wedding ceremony in October 2021. Justina was super responsive via email and answered all my questions quickly. Her repertoire of songs was extensive and she even learned a new song for when we walked back up the aisle after being married. I only wish we would've booked her for longer as my wife and I didn't get much time to enjoy the music. We were busy being brides and enjoying time with our wedding party before the ceremony. Our guests did say that Justina's music and performance were amazing leading up to our ceremony. 6pm came quickly and I was so sad when Justina's 2hr time slot was complete, again I wish we had her for longer but I am still so happy with how everything came together. You won't regret booking Sounds of Joy for your event.

I had a great experience working with Sounds of Joy for my small wedding in June. Justina was easy to work with and had a great selection of modern/classical songs to choose from. She came down with an illness right before our wedding and wasn't able to perform herself but secured a fantastic replacement violinist to accompany Christopher. The music was beautiful - exactly what we envisioned - and our guests very much enjoyed! I was thrilled to have them be a part of our special day and would definitely recommend.

Justina was incredible to work with even given our last minute covid timeline. She played us many samples virtually and was great day of. Her team brings big sound for 2 people and would reccomend to anyone. They were able to do both contemporary and classical music. Cannot say enough good things!

We had Justina play the violin for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour last year at the Berkeley Church and it was a such a romantic and classic touch. It was a truly special and memorable part of our wedding day that we are so grateful for! Not only was she incredibly talented and played all the arrangements beautifully, but she was also so accommodating and quick to respond with any questions or changes I had. She even learned an arrangement of one of my favourite songs for the end of the ceremony which she played absolutely beautifully. She even took the moment at the end of the cocktail hour to play that song again for me since I didn't get to hear most of it when I left the aisle. I would recommend Justina at Sounds of Joy to anyone looking for a romantic touch on their special day. I would happily hire her in the future for any events I hosted. Thank you so much, Justina!

My visit to South Hill today was disappointing due to indifferent customer service and an unexplained closure of a significant store section for private events during regular hours. I was at Avenue Road Furniture before this and the difference in customer service was night and day, and had to drive 45 mins to barely spend 3 mins. The focus on maintaining exclusivity rather than delivering a shopping experience was evident. This incident raises serious doubts about the store's commitment to customer satisfaction. Prospective customers should exercise caution, and maybe shop at RH or Avenue Road.

One of the best intimate spots in Toronto to celebrate and hosts events for our corporate holiday party this year. Anil, Liz and the entire team at SPACE were amazing from beginning to end to ensure our vision to appreciate each and everyone of our employees were met. They exceeded our expectation by ensuring the entire SPACE felt like it was personalized just for US. Will definitely be looking to host something there again!

One of the most beautiful and versatile event spaces I've seen in the city.

It's unique historical features on the outside are still felt on the interior of this recently updated, multi level and functional event space.

It has a modern, bright and almost gallery feel to it. The 2 story windows flood the space with amazing natural light, which was perfect for shooting photography.

It just has an overall great urban vibe. It can easily be transformed into some most incredible and vibrant event spaces.

Working with SPACE founders Anil and Liz on several small projects has been an absolute pleasure.

Loved the space in Space. Spacious! Has a great vibe. Attended a friend’s birthday celebration. Would just like them to better utilise the Space. Add more seating. Some huge indoor plants. Also a better bar area would be good. But besides all this, the place is still great. Would I have an event of my own here? Yes, without a doubt!

Super cozy place..I attended one of the ikea exhibit here which was cool..the space is quite spacious with lots of daylight.the food served here was delicious. Things were organized in a manner like you are at home.

I have attended Space on king on a couple of occasions. One was the Vintage Pop up market which was a lot of fun. The Venue is in an up and coming area or Cork Town.(Berkley and King) Door person greeted us. Well organized with Lots of interesting vendors, eclectic, unique finds that make shopping fun again, especially with all the restrictions. Tall celings, lots of light, different levels and a real positive energy.. Capuccino's upstairs with cookies!!. I m looking forward to the next one coming up Feb 20!! The other time was by there was for a Sweet 16 SleepOver Party that was simply amazing. There was a huge ball pit for the girls and beds set up for the sleep over. The creative genius that came up with this should be complemented and applauded. Creative, innovative, unique and simply brilliant. The only thing I can say is I wish I was 16 all over again!! The space is warm and inviting, and you can truly feel the team's passion for dressing people and making them feel special. I absolutely loved my experience. I had FUN!

Cat pulled fantastic wedding dresses—both aligned with what I was looking for and also thoughtfully chosen to reflect and expand on my taste. She created a bespoke experience by offering pieces I wouldn’t have picked myself but ended up loving. She was also incredibly knowledgeable about dress construction and how garments can be altered to achieve the best fit.

My mom even found a mother-of-the-bride dress (and she wasn’t even looking!). The selection is excellent—great quality, size inclusive, and incredibly reasonably priced. This team truly went above and beyond.

Before coming to Space Vintage, my experience dress shopping had been both stressful and underwhelming—trying on overpriced sample sizes of trendy but poorly constructed dresses, feeling rushed, and being made to feel like I was behind because I didn’t have an 8-month lead time to the wedding day.

It started from the call i had from them. I asked to be able to give it some thought. And was pushed to just sign up. Fast forward 1 week from that and thinking it over for. I decided i wanted to cancel. Sent emails regarding this and no replies and its a month of that now. Would not recommend to anyone. Very poor customer service. And very shady business practice to not reply to a concern.

I would sincerely recommend choosing an alternative insurance provider. once you have a policy, they fail to return any form of contact. I can never reach someone on the phone and their number is always out of service. they put the wrong telephone number on forms they send you furthering communication difficulties. they have been sent a beneficiary form numerous times and continue to enter the information incorrectly, meaning my beneficiary won’t inherit my policy. For yours and your family’s price of mind, please look elsewhere as this is not a professional or appropriate company

UPDATE: I sent an email as asked and STILL have yet to receive any form of follow up. you can respond to a google review but not the actual clients. this is a disgusting way to run a business. I was able to call in once and your staff said nothing and terminated the call immediately. I was able to get through a second time and again your staff terminated immediately without so much as a hello. how is this allowed? please shut down your company because evidently it cannot be run to any level of a professional standard.

The agent I spoke to was very helpful, very patient. When filling out those multiple choice questions, I needed some to be repeated, which she was very happy to do so. I had to stop partway through to get my groceries delivered and had to hang up for a few minutes and call back. I would happily recommend Specialty Life Insurance to anyone looking for life insurance.

Place is good for event but food was garbage miss management, shortage of staff before arranging any event here must appoint one person on food delivery duty and keep open eyes all the time

I went to a birthday party at Speranza banquet hall yesterday and was really impressed. The hall was spotless including the washrooms and everything and was so well managed. Very delicious food. The servers were polite, attentive, and the whole event ran right on time. It made celebration feel extra special!!

I attended my friend’s brother’s engagement at this banquet hall and was really impressed. The place is very spacious, the lobby is clean and welcoming, and the staff were extremely friendly and professional. Everything was well managed, and there’s honestly nothing to complain about. A great venue for any special occasion!

Speranza Banquet Hall was absolutely amazing! I did my engagement party there back in May 2025 and my reception just recently in August 2025. Both times it was a great experience! The Prime Sound team were great to work with for the sound and audio 👌 Palwinder paji was great, he walked us through all the details when it came to choosing the type of table cloth, napkins, stage size etc. He walked us through each hall to make sure we saw all options on which hall would best accommodate us. Our food for both events was absolutely amazing! From appetizers to dinner everything was delicious! The one thing our guests really enjoyed about this hall was the layout, it feels like you are at 2 different parties since there's a lounge area outside too. Overall we had a great 10/10 experience! If you decide to go with Speranza, speak to Palwinder for sure!

We threw a sweet sixteen party for my daughter birthday. The hall was very good and food was amazing. The support staff was very good.
Mr Chanel was very supportive and helped us a lot .

Great two night stay earlier this week.

Was in town for a concert at Rogers Stadium so the location was convenient to where we had to go.

The check in was very fast. We were greeted promptly and the individual working at the counter was friendly and welcoming.

We stayed on the 7th floor and I was pleasantly surprised with the room. Large bed with a separate desk and couch area. Perfect set up as I had to do some work so it allowed me to take calls while my husband relaxed. Bed was comfortable with options for pillows. Bathroom was split so shower was in one room with toilet in another which I personally appreciate. Entire room was very clean. The only small issue we experienced was the coffee maker not working but to me that wasn't a huge deal. I notified the front desk and they were apologetic and said they would rectify it. The walls were a bit thin but only hallway noise. We did hear traffic from the highway but that was expected due to location.

We used the pool and hot tub while there. Hot tub could have been a bit hotter but it was very clean.

Parking was not included but was very low cost. Do not use the machines outside - just let them know at the front desk and they will coordinate it.

Breakfast was just ok - a good amount of options and included in the price. The staff were very efficient though and were constantly restocking the food or clearing plates which was nice to see.

Location was convenient to the subway, some restaurants, and the highway.

Overall a good experience. Would stay again if we needed something that far north.

Front desk receptionist was wonderful! She provided us with a little gift upon checkout, and ensured my husband's accessibility needs were met. Room was clean and spacious. Very close to attractions. Clean pool and hot tub. Complimentary hot breakfast!

Parking spaces were a little tight. Only 2 accessible spots from what I saw.

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a great experience. The room layout was well thought out — I liked that the toilet and shower were in separate areas. There was a nice workspace too, perfect if you need to get some work done during your trip. The room also had a microwave and a large closet, which was a nice bonus.

Breakfast was surprisingly good with excellent service, and there were plenty of parking spaces available. The WiFi worked well throughout my stay. My room faced the highway, but it was surprisingly quiet — no noise issues at all.

Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay. I’d definitely recommend it!

My extended family and I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. We have always had the best experiences there. The hotel is super clean and the staff is very helpful and welcoming with anything we have ever needed.

Recently, my family had a trip planned and we had expired passports (that we didn't know about until very last minute) and needed to cancel/reschedule. The staff was incredibly helpful with this situation and helping us get it resolved. A special shoutout goes to Megan Chen who was constantly in communication with me and helped me resolve the situation.

Would recommend to everyone traveling in the area to stay here anytime. Super great service, support, and accommodations!!!

Stayed here last night. Stay was good, ample parking. Room had dried cup marks on the night stand. Wasn’t even wiped between guests. Someone else’s hair in the shower. At the “complimentary” breakfast they had a guy who went around telling every single guest to fill out the feedback cards about the breakfast. All of the cards were for your room information and how much of a tip you are leaving for the free buffet breakfast. I’m sorry but after $300 a night, tips for house keeping, I’m not tipping for the included breakfast that I make and serve myself. Seems like this hotel is good at ripping people off of their hard earned money. Want a tip at breakfast? Literally do something more then just come to our table and tell us to fill out the card which literally just asks for money!!!!

Love this place so much. The lady who works here is so incredibly skilled and all the experience of the craft comes through in how she assembled our custom bouquet. The flowers are affordable and fresh and absolutely stunning.

They created the exact bouquet I had envisioned—absolutely beautiful and at a great price! Amazing attention to detail and fantastic service. Highly recommend! 🌸

Highly recommend! I was getting married and didn't even know what I wanted for a bouquet, but the owners were so helpful. All I knew was that I liked red roses and eucalyptus. We were so amazed when we picked up the bouquet and boutonniere - since I didn't have a vision in mind, I didn't have any expectations and they came out absolutely beautiful and smelled amazing! I will be coming back for any floral needs, they also have beautiful plants.

St Clair flowers is hands down the most wonderful place to buy flowers in the east end. The curation of flowers is always so fun, and filled with unique, and thoughtful varieties. The prices are EXCELLENT. EXCELLENT!!!

In spring, it is the first place that you can buy vibrant and happy blooms and planters that are so well priced. In summer, the back is filled with strong and again, beautiful and unique varieties. Always check back because they are constantly bringing new things in. The shop is always full of locals, but it’s worth a drive.

I even bought all the wedding flowers for my table centrepieces here, and saved a fortune.

Outside of garden season, this is still my go to shop, as the cut flower bouquets and indoor potted plants are the best deal in town and full of unique and colourful blooms.

Finally, the couple that owns the shop is so kind, gracious, and knowledgeable. The lady is always so sweet and goes out of her way to help.

Can’t say enough good things about this spot.

This cathedral is the oldest in Toronto. Its interior can only be described in one word , "Breathtaking ." From its ceiling high stained glass windows to It's impeccably clean clear windows. My only concern is that although it is wheelchair accessible, there are no clear signs posted that state so. Unfortunately, this is my only concern regarding the church. I had to wait over 30 minutes for a staff member to notice me and direct me to the wheelchair accessible entrance. I tried calling the church for assistance several times but was only answered by a recorded message. That didn't taint my experience there once I managed to gain access to the church. I highly recommend that if you're in the downtown Toronto area of Church and Queen Sts. If you find yourself with a little time to spare, please drop in for a visit. You'll find yourself unexpectedly in awe of your surroundings as you immerse yourself in its glory and beauty. I was so enthralled by its magnificence that I forgot to take photos. I apologize in advance to all who read my review.

I attended the Sunday session at 10am. Angelic! Perfect for newcomers. Smiling faces. You'll get coffee after the service too. Finished around 11:30am.

I am very emotional about churches, especially these gothic cathedrals. It's so well maintained and beautiful. I had years in my eyes during the Holy Communion (Lord's Supper/Bread/Wine).

Christians with stringent beliefs, the church won't necessarily match you beliefs. It has a pride flag hanging and you'll get uncomfortable.

The Cathedral has been designated as an Ontario Heritage Property by the Ministry of Culture and has also been designated as a heritage site by Heritage Toronto. I had a peaceful experience here.Exterior of the church is beautiful too and I went on a Sunny day so it added to the beauty. Quite accessible with private sndy punvkivy transport.

We couldn’t be happier with the incredible music throughout our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding day. The cellist and violinist created the most beautiful atmosphere during the ceremony—Their elegant playing during the reception added a touch of sophistication that everyone appreciated.
Later in the evening, the band brought the celebration to life. The singer, Jenny, and the guitarist/singer, Jeff, were absolutely fabulous. Their positive, high-energy performance had guests on the dance floor all night long! We received so many compliments from friends and family about how amazing the band was—and we couldn’t agree more. They made the entire evening unforgettable, and we are so grateful for the energy, and fun they brought to the wedding celebration.

Alana was a pleasure to deal with the whole time leading up to my stag assuring me that it was my night to enjoy and that her girls would take care of everything and boy did she deliver. The set up was amazing and the girls worked thier butts off all night to insure that everything ran smooth and that most importantly the stag was highly profitable. This will be the only company I use for any event moving forward. 👏👏🤚

Due to a scheduling conflict, I couldn't use our regular provider, and used them on a whim. I was not disappointed! Very professional, kind, flexible, hard working staff. Working with the admin team was equally as pleasing! Communication was great leading up to the event. We held a small wedding in a backyard and needed several servers to be present. The servers works well as a team and took our guest experience to an elegant level. Would highly recommend this company if you are looking for waitstaff, bartenders or servers!

My family recently used 'Staff Your Event' in Toronto for a social event. We needed a member of their waitstaff. We have been in the hospitality industry for years, and often host large parties, and we must say that the waitress that Staff Your Event provided was one of the most professional people we have ever worked with. She was prompt, charming, and gracious. She provided an excellent experience for our guests. Working with Staff Your Event's administrative office was equally great. I would not hesitate to recommend this service to anyone.

I got the burn away salted caramel cake for my birthday and the salted caramel mother's day cake for Ma and it was THE MOST DELICIOUS CAKE I have ever tried. I have the biggest sweet tooth and have tried thousands of dessert spots and this is by far the best. The quality, the real butter, butter cream and taste is incomparable. The owner is super nice too and accommodated to letting me pick up the order since I live nearby.

Only wish that it was a live cafe/ store so I can go anytime and pick things up rather than order ahead.

I had spoken to the manager Anastasia prior and had ordered a box of their almond croissants and they were out of this world!! The croissants were so fabulously made and delicious and the almond filling is so amazing. Some of the best almond croissants I’ve ever had. They went so quickly. They have a really fabulous team and really do care about the quality of their products and customer satisfaction.
We can’t wait to try the matcha ones next the almond ones were just to die for!

I have been a repeat customer of Staij and Co.
Right from birthdays to get togethers to my own wedding, I’ve been ordering cake from them and I couldn’t recommend them more. Right from the service to the taste, everything is 10/10.

I have attempted to contact Staij and Co. through multiple means about a custom order: email (as per their phone instructions), phone call and their website. It has been extremely hard to get in touch with someone. It has been over a day now and they have not responded and I need the item for tomorrow. This business clearly doesn't care about customers unless they have paid already. I did not want to make a purchase until they confirmed that the request was possible to complete as I would lose money if it wasn't possible. Very poor customer service.

Update: they got back to me within 40 mins after I left a bad review. Clearly their Google reviews are more important to them. My request is not possible as they are not a nut-free bakery. Therefore it is good I did not order on their website beforehand. Just a heads up for anyone looking for nut-free baked goods, they don't offer that here.

I’ve only order deliveries from here, their almond matcha’s are just to die for and it’s huge and just delicious and we also get the nutella. I sometimes get a dozen or two so I can share with my daughters or freeze them.

I used Star Night limo rentals last month for our Christmas party. We ended up renting a limousine to carry everyone together (we had about ten people in the limo hire). I was very happy with the limousine services that we received. The interior was very clean, the outside of the limo was also clean even though there was a lot of salt and snow on that day. The sound system inside the limousine was awesome and the chauffeur was professional and most importantly for me, he was punctual, showed up at arranged time exactly. Excellent limo transportation that delivers and one of the best Toronto limousine service companies that I have used.

Absolutely love this company. I have been using them for a few years now whenever I need limousine service in Toronto, and every time I am treated to a great experience. The limos are excellent and very clean. The staff and drivers are very nice, prompt and courteous. Recently, we rented an SUV stretch limousine for my friend's birthday and we had a really great time! An outstanding limo rental experience all around.

Rented a limousine for a night out. I would say that overall the experience was great. The limo was very clean and modern and had all the latest features. The Air Conditioner was a little weak, but that was probably because it was a very hot day in Toronto. Next time I need a limo service in Toronto, I will definitely use them again. Also, the chauffeur arrived ahead of time and was very courteous and friendly.

You get what you pay for. We found this company to be significantly less expensive than other limo companies, but we certainly paid the price. We used this company for my bachelorette party and our wedding. The limo on the night of my bachelorette seemed to be old and not in great working order - the radio barely worked and the driver was not very friendly. There is no aux cable so no hooking up any of your own music. On our wedding day, the limo broke down at the first stop (picking up the bridal party), and my father-in-law had to get under the limo and fix it himself, because the driver had no idea what to do. The driver took the strangest routes to the ceremony, which took way longer. I had given addresses and directions well in advance, so this seemed unnecessary. I have reached out a few times to Star Night Limousines expressing my disappointment, and have not heard back from them. By all means use this company to save money, but be aware that things will not go completely smoothly or as you imagine.

This limousine service was absolutely amazing. The Party bus was beautiful both during the day and at night. Driver was fantastic with us and cooperated with our time schedule, overall it was a great experience. I will most definitely use this limousine service again!
