A great venue for a concert. Bomrani band had a wonderful performance at Toronto Pavilion. Parking was a challenge and we ended up parking a bit farther. So get there sooner than later as the parking lot fills up pretty fast. The venue is a quite nice one with a huge sitting area and excellent light work. The sound wasn’t that perfect for a live music performance though. It could get annoyingly loud at times.

It's good to have this resource here, but the library is very outdated. The selection is small and it's hard to find if you don't know where you're going. The art was nice though.

Toronto Public Library is very well maintained and has great collection of books as well as other materials.
One of the best libraries I have visited till date. I had a great time here.
I only visited it for having a look at the arrangements and the genres available here.
It also had free printing for members as well as the issuing and buying of books is also available for the ones having library card ( issued to person living here for more than a year ).
Also web surfing can be done here on public device or private with free wifi.

This library needs more love! With this location and great staff, it could've been an amazing branch. It's not a big location but gets the job done. To be very frank, there are a lot of homeless people in this library. I just saw a homeless man pinned to the ground and arrested after he was acting inappropriately. Sometimes there are shopping carts full of stuff blocking the books and only if staff ask they won't move it. I understand these people need access to storage, but due to how small this library... the staff are really amazing for dealing with it.

Trouble finding the entrance? You have to go inside City Hall and then turn right. There aren't any Library Signs outside.

A little sanctuary where you can find books and peace, and watch the bustling world moving on at the heart of TO.

From the first time meeting Katherine, I felt very comfortable with her and calm regards to planning my wedding. As someone who gets overwhelmed easily, she made sure I was satisfied and happy with the planning and the chapel itself. She always followed up with me and my husband to see if everything’s okay prior to our wedding date, if we had any questions or concerns she was able to assist us.

Our wedding was amazing, from the ceremony, the decorations at the chapel, food, staff and reception. Till this day my wedding guests are saying wow it was such a lovely wedding, they loved how Katherine was welcoming towards everyone and she made sure everything was okay. From what I have heard and experienced from other weddings, I cannot believe that in my wedding at the Toronto Wedding Chapel I did not have to worry absolutely nothing, about anything!! I was in shock because usually the bride is stress (I am perfectionist), but no, it was only happiness. Suzy took what could have been a hair pulling stress mess to the most incredible experience. With our wedding of 8 guests we were so worried that the small number of invitations would make it a nightmare to get them made. Then we met Suzy! She took our ideas, and made sure we got what we wanted (even though we didn't know what we wanted!). Through 1 video meet and a couple emails Suzy created stunning invitations we couldn't wait to send out. On top of an already incredible experience, Suzy explained there were somes issues (that we could not see) so as a result we got not 1, but 2 sets of envelopes. We hired Focus Photography for our July 27 wedding at The Arlington Estate and they exceeded every expectation. The team arrived early, worked seamlessly with us and kept our timeline perfectly on track.

We hired 2 photographers and 2 videographers and we liked that none of the shots are over edited or over filtered, they just capture the moment. They balanced elegant portraits with authentic candid moments—our families and guests look amazing in every shot. Lighting, composition, and attention to detail were impeccable, and they guided us with gentle, clear direction so we always felt comfortable in front of the camera. Delivery was timely (within 3 weeks of our wedding we received all deliverables) and the final edits are stunning: crisp, vibrant, and timeless. We’re so grateful to the entire Focus team—highly recommended without hesitation!

We had an engagement photoshoot with Rocco which we absolutely enjoyed! All the photos turned out so well we couldn't decide which one was our favourite. Rocco was such a great photographer to work with, giving us cues for poses, smiles and gentle guidance that made us feel confident and comfortable. After the session, we were certain that he'd do a great job on our wedding day too.

On our wedding day, Rocco was punctual, patient (with all our family insisting to take photos with their phones), and extremely professional! Although we haven't recieved our final edit photos, even the unedited sneak peek were amazing so we know we're going to be blown away by the final shots! Rocco has such a good eye for beautiful backgrounds and poses, you'd never feel lost.

Robert and the staff at Total Advantage have been my travel agents for many many years now. I've been going to Town for years for cards and little gifts for my family and friends. They have a fantastic variety of stationary and unique and good quality cards. They also have a loyalty program for the cards - ask them about it! Always friendly service and I could spend hours browsing their shelves. They always have something new and fun and I find it hard to leave empty handed. A Bloordale staple!

OMG, I LOVE TOWN, my one-stop shop for the best curated (yes, I used that word) cards and gifts in the city! Shelley Town, the owner, is super personable and knowledgeable about her product lines. I drop by a minimum of every six weeks (my hair salon is on the same block) and love being able to say, "I'm going to TOWN”...literally!

Not knowing anything about the ceremony process or what was required, Stephanie took the time to walk us through everything we needed to know—even before we officially hired her. She made the entire process easy to follow and understand, and did a fantastic job officiating our ceremony. When she saw my nerves getting the better of me, she helped me work through it. She was calm, personable, and well spoken. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant.

If you are looking to have a small, intimate yet wonderful ceremony, you have found the perfect person in Rev. Stephanie. On top of that, she has a beautiful place that only added to the magic of the ceremony, creating the perfect atmosphere for our vows. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant to make our day perfect!

Stayed here for a few days for work trip.

Good: front desk service was very good, great attitudes. Lots of amenities in the suite, including cutlery, dishes, dishwasher, large fridge, small hot plate, and microwave. Great if you plan on a longer stay.

OK: room size was good, bed was acceptable. Room temperature control was a bit finicky and the rooms were quite dry, woke up with very stuffy nose a few nights.

Bad: this room clearly has had some issues with water damage in the past, and there is lots of evidence of mold and repairs (see pics). The repairs are also very shoddy and cut rate, most likely the cheapest possible option was chosen. The shower stall leaked water all over the bathroom floor after my first shower, and the shower water pressure was also not great.

I would not stay here again, especially if I needed a longer stay, there are better options in the area.

Room is good. Bed is comfy.

But get this. 8 kids got stuck in the elevator and they refused to call the fire department! The manager said the fire department would just say, "Call a technician." After 20 minutes, one of the parents finally called. When they got here the first thing the fire chief said was, "Why didn't you call us right away?"

Good hotel rooms. Worst management ever

I organized a group booking at the TownePlace Suites Toronto Northeast/Markham and our entire group of 19+ gave nothing but positive reviews.

Our group had very early mornings before the hotel breakfast hours so Ruvika, the Sales Manager organized to have her team prepare portable breakfast boxes for our entire group. Ruvika even scheduled one of her team members to come in early to ensure our group had access to hot coffee in the morning.

The rooms were very nice and clean and every member of the front desk team was very kind and helpful throughout the week that our group stayed at the hotel.

I would give this hotel more stars if I could and we definitely recommend this hotel for anyone needing to stay the in the area.

I have had the wonderful pleasure of booking our company stays with one of the best reservation officers I've come across. Their quick replies to my emails, questions and requests were not only met but done promptly. I am happy to say our company will be using this hotel again, it has all the features needed as well great guest services. I would like to specifically thanks Tooba for their outstanding service, efficiency and prompt services.

Although I found the hotel to be just slightly below average, my friend was very displeased with the hotel. The very small bathroom with a clothes hook right next to the toilet wasn't inviting at all. We informed the housekeeper that the room was available for cleaning, and even after returning a few hours later, we still had to wait for her to complete the job. The breakfast selection was average. Although we will be returning to the Toronto area next month, I seriously doubt if we'll stay there again.

I placed an order for flowers for my friend for her birthday. I wanted to use a local florist in her area. I couldn't be happier with the service and the final product. They were delivered in prestine condition and looked gorgeous. My friend was in awe at how beautiful they were. She said, "I feel so fancy". Thank you for making her day special. 2nd order: I bought a bouquet called Soft Embrace and it was supposed to be a surprise for someone. I left instructions and they updated me the day before about the adjusted time that they can deliver it. It was okay since we were still at the same location anyway. Communication was very clear and they were on time. I appreciate the easy process and the overall experience. Would be happy to recommend toy florist for sure! Btw, the flowers were beautiful!!! 😍

This was the first time ordering from Toy Florist, and I was pleasantly surprised with how amazing their customer service was! It was a mistake on my end that I ordered last minute, but they were still able to deliver the flowers in a timely manner! This team is incredible! Carla was so informative when we were seeking advice and looking for a day of coordinator. Justin and the rest of the team made my wedding day a dream. I didn't have to worry about anything and they executed my vision for decor and the timeline without a hitch. Trade Sensations was a dream to work with! We got married in August 2024 - and naturally we were a little sceptic using a company we found on the internet. From the lead up to the actual wedding day, their whole team showed up for us in a BIG way. They really made the entire day go smoothly, managing everything behind the scenes. My niece and nephew were the only kids that attended our wedding and our photographer caught a picture of the trade sensation team spending time with them to ensure they were occupied and enjoying themselves. Trade sensation was amazing they made our dream wedding possible. Carla, Anvy, Justin and Liz were a dream to work with and went above and beyond anything we could have ever ask for! We hired them for decor, floral and day of coordination! Everything was amazing from start to finish! I could not have imagined my wedding to be as beautiful as they made it! Let me tell you the best team every! They were with us ever step of the way supporting our vision. Our wedding was not perfect but they made it perfect let’s just say the band was 2 hours late and they were amazing in their support and coordination to make it as stress free as possible.
