This is a cozy little place to dine in, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes it a nice choice for a relaxed meal. The restaurant has two floors, which adds a bit of character, and with the patio now open, it’s a great spot to enjoy some fresh air when the weather is nice. Just a heads-up—the tables are quite close to each other, so it’s worth being mindful of your conversations and movement, especially during busy times.

The food menu is fairly limited, but the items offered are nicely prepared. Prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are decent—just enough for one person to feel satisfied without being overly full. It’s a solid pick if you’re in the mood for something simple and comforting.

Our food did take a bit longer than expected to arrive, which was a slight downside, especially if you’re hungry or on a tighter schedule. That said, the overall experience was still pleasant.

A special shout-out to Shariar, who was kind enough to treat us to a complimentary tiramisu—what a lovely surprise! He’s a former colleague of mine, so it was really nice to reconnect and see a familiar face. That thoughtful gesture definitely added a personal touch to our visit.

All in all, it’s a good place to unwind over a meal, especially now that the patio is open. A few small adjustments could enhance the experience, but the cozy vibe and friendly gesture made the visit memorable.

Stayed in the Four Seasons right next to it. After trying several restaurants in the area, this was my favorite. Food and wine list is very good, prices are reasonable and the ambience is incredible. Will come back.

Met friends for dinner. Recommendations were made for food and was both appreciative and impressed. Every single dish equally as or more so delicious as the next. Atmosphere was electric with incredibly efficient and with the most friendly staff. Chef David Sibio has definitely elevated the food and dishes prepared, both visually pleasing with outstanding flavour. An absolute must and highly recommend.

Food was amazing, we’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now after seeing an online review and we were finally in the area. Server was lovely, everything was fast and delicious. We’re a younger group and they didn’t treat us differently which is nice in that area! Bonus that we ended up sitting next to Vince Vaughn which was crazy cool!

What a wonderful time, the menu is inviting, like you’re eating at your grandmas kitchen.

We booked this trip very last minute with not a lot of parameters for Jaclyn other than price point. She found an amazing resort for us that suited our needs and wants perfectly! Especially considering this was our 1st time using her services, she really nailed our wants! Can’t wait to use her again in the future.

I hadn’t been on a all inclusive trip in YEARS and traveling alone with my 7-year-old had me nervous. I had one goal (make it fun for my son!) and a budget. We booked a 6 day Whiskey all across Scotland. The hotels Jaclyn found were amazing, with great food and plenty of Whiskey options (500+). I recently called Travelers Insurance regarding a windshield repair, and I was disappointed with the unprofessional service I received. The representative immediately asked if I was calling about a windshield repair, and when I said yes, he abruptly directed me to go to Speedy Glass or Apple Auto Glass without asking for any further details or providing any useful information about these companies.

This was the first time I had heard of them, and I felt completely uninformed about my options. When I mentioned that I preferred not to use those companies, only then did the representative bother to ask for more information from me. It felt as though he was more interested in giving a quick answer than actually helping me with my concern.

I expected better customer service from Travelers, and unfortunately, this experience fell short of my expectations.

The Strawberry Delight cake was absolutely delicious — the custard cream was perfectly smooth and rich, and the fresh strawberries were sweet, vibrant, and bursting with flavor. It was a joy to meet the owner as well; your warmth and passion for the bakery shine through in every detail. The experience left me feeling truly welcomed and valued. Grateful for the kindness, the quality, and the sense of community you bring with every visit.

This long-establish bakery on St.Clair has been serving locals over 60 years! It’s such a lovely bakery with a great vibe. They’ve got baked goods, sandwiches, daily specials, breads, coffee, and even gelato!

I know this bakery has been around for a long time. I've tried and tried to like this bakery but I just cannot recommend it.

As far as food presentation is on point. You can see from the photos the zeppole look great however they don't taste the best based on my testing of several other bakeries.

The prices at the hot food counter have continued to rise and I now find them unreasonable for what you get.

One thing I do like is the Sicilian bread.

Tre Mari Bakery in Toronto is a true gem! Their sfogliatella is hands down the best I've ever had—perfectly crisp, flaky, and filled with rich, flavorful goodness. Every treat here is crafted with care, and the pistachio desserts are absolutely divine.

Beyond the incredible pastries, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, thanks to the friendly staff who always greet you with a smile. The customer service is top-notch, making every visit a delightful experience. If you're looking for authentic, high-quality Italian goods, this is the place to be.

Highly recommend stopping by—once you do, you'll keep coming back for more!

The best in the business!! TreVi was the most amazing company to work with for our recent wedding. We used the vintage Bentley as well as the party bus for our wedding party and both drivers were wonderful, on time, and so kind!

We booked with the help of Carmine and Teresa who were both very prompt in their responses, with clear and professional communication through phone and email.

Peter drove my parents and I in the Bentley and he put extra care into the entire experience. He helped with my dress, rolled out the red carpet and provided the champagne as well as small fans for my mom and I since it was a warm day! It was an absolute pleasure to have him drive us that day :)

The people working here are so sweet and considerate, my wedding planner for the wedding made the mistake of not reviewing the final selection of cars (Bentley instead of Rolls Royce) for the final day and they were so helpful in reaching out to me sending me contracts and explaining what had happened, they truly do care about their customers and for me that is key when

Our driver Peter was amazing!!! The nicest guy and so professional. He made sure to always grab the door for us and help me in and out of the car with my huge dress.. he even helped me switch my shoes because I couldn't reach! lol We were so impressed with his services, our bridal party also had great things to say about him. The car was very clean and arrived 30 minutes before the pickup time. This was definitely worth every penny.

Excellent customer service. Speedy response to emails, clear communication, prompt service. Carmine called the day before our wedding to confirm pickup times and locations. Peter arrived 30 mins earlier then the scheduled time of the wedding, was very personal and friendly, and gave excellent service with a constant smile. There Fleet is spotless, we had the 1963 Rolls-Royce on Oct 12,2019. Highly recommend for your special day!

Outstanding. Communicating with Teresa and Carmen was an absolute pleasure, as they we very organized, professional and genuinely cared about the success of our big day. Both drivers for the 30 passenger bus and Bentley we had were great and went above and beyond to ensure we were all comfortable. Our quick a simple Love & Legalities service with Aaron was perfect for us. We were able to keep things low key, light, non-denominational and intimate while still making the moment special. We had no bridesmaids for our wedding (as we went a non-traditional route) and had 3 "Best Brothers" that needed suits, along with my husband.

We had to move our wedding up on short notice, due to my father's declining health and Tony made sure that everything was ready for us without a hitch!

Needed a last minute tuxedo for a wedding and Tony came through with his expertise and precision. Rented my suit and got the alterations done same day! Excellent customer service, if you are in the area this is the place to go!

I recently rented a tuxedo for myself and my son for my son’s confirmation. Tony was amazing! Extremely knowledgeable and made the whole process painless. Tony even swapped my sons dress shirt on the morning of the event as my son had spilt his drink on the shirt. We called and Tony was more than accommodating and went out of his way to get my son a replacement shirt. In the end the suits looked amazing and I can’t say enough about how positive the whole experience was. Thank you Tony!

Only bought the suit here because of the colour. The customer service was sub par at best and required us calling multiple times for updates on when it would be ready. We even were told it was ready and showed up, to it not being at the store ready for us! So we had to head home 2 hours empty handed. We were also told during alterations a bow tie could be made with the off cuts and then picked up the suit with no bow, and was told there wasn’t enough material… a call in advance would have been nice because maybe we could have pivoted and backed the bow with black instead.

Rented two suits here recently for a family wedding, one for my 17 year old son which ended up being fine and it fit him well, my husband however his suit was terrible. The pant hem had to be re-done on the pickup day, his pants overall were too tight, suit jacket was too big, his shirt the arm length was too short you are supposed to see a bit of the cuff outside of the arms of the jacket, plus we got some weird clip on tie in his suit bag while my son got a normal tie. Overall if a customer is paying this much $$ to rent the fit better be close to bang on. The fact that I could have gone and got my husband a suit from a thrift store and it would have been a better fit for the fraction of the cost just does not seem right. My husband was uncomfortable the entire wedding and that reflected in any of the photo's that he was in.. It's a good thing he wasn't the groom.

We had our wedding/reception at Jackson Manor and have received compliments on the food every day since! The staff were amazing and Joel was so communicative. Any questions I had were met with timely responses. Everything came out fresh and delicious. The queso is something I will never be able to get off of my mind. At the end we still had a bunch of leftovers to take home which we gladly did. I would 10/10 recommend twist for any of your catering needs.

First let’s discuss the decor! So clean and welcoming! The food is delicious! The patty supreme had jerk chicken and plantain in it, and the salt fish fritters were so good! Will definitely return.

Chef Latoya and her team provided us with catering for my mother's memorial luncheon in mid-November. The sandwich platters (smoked meats, smoked turkey, roast beef, jerk chicken, veg wraps), pasta and couscous salads, as well as the sweet and fruit trays, were exceptionally fresh and delicious. Thank you for completing the order with very short notice. The food provided comfort during a challenging time. This will be my go-to catering company for future orders! So nice that it is a local business, too.

My spouse and I got in touch with chef Latoya to cater my 40th birthday celebration. She was open to accommodate any wish required. She was able to prepare a good spread of Caribbean dishes (rice & peas, jerk chicken, vegetable chow mein, pepper fish and doubles) the food was fresh and was a hit with everyone who came out to celebrate. Thank you Chef Latoya!!

We got married at Twist at the end of August 2025. We immediately loved the venue when we first visited, but we also really appreciated the approach of Nadia and her team. They are so organized, practical, and kind. We worked mostly with Nimna, Nadia, and Marisa leading up to the day and Kevin coordinating during the event. Twist provides really helpful planning document and a floor plan that made me look like the most organized bride. The venue was beautiful and everything turned out even better than we had envisioned! We received so many compliments on the bartenders, staff, the venue, and the food from our guests. Our wedding was so smooth and felt effortless to us. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

We recently had our wedding at Twist Gallery, and it was an unforgettable experience! The venue is stunning—warm, elegant, full of charm, and has a unique artistic vibe that made our day feel truly special.

Nimna, Marisa, and Kevin were fantastic to work with. They were organized, responsive, and ensured everything ran smoothly, both during planning and on the big day. Day of, their professionalism allowed us to fully relax and enjoy every moment.

The bar and wait staff were both friendly and attentive. We received many compliments on the food, which was not only delicious but also thoughtfully prepared to accommodate various dietary needs.

Our band, Elfrida, had no issues setting up all their band equipment for both the ceremony and reception—everything worked seamlessly in the space and they sounded awesome!

We can’t recommend Twist Gallery enough for weddings or special events, and we’re excited to return to enjoy the rotating art exhibitions.

We got married at twist in July 2025. We had an unusual wedding - no dancing and no alcoholic. We were going to play music. Nadia and Nimna were fantastic at understanding our vision, giving suggestions, and helping make our day PERFECT.

Meeting and Planning: Throughout the meeting and event planning, we really appreciated how much they let us do our own thing on our own time, while still helping us keep organized. Their documents were perfectly outlined to help. When we had trouble figuring out table settings since we didn’t want to do flowers, they sent us many photo ideas. They helped us figure out logistics of floor plan and more.

Day Of - Atmosphere: They let us come in the day before to drop off boxes. Nimna and I went through them all to make sure she knew where things were. On the day of, when my husband and I arrived to set up our music, they were already there setting up for the wedding. They perfectly arranged everything. The space looked beautiful, everything was organized, and they did outstanding at making sure the space was perfect. The gallery was stunning. They were also incredibly fast at moving the chairs from the ceremony to the reception. The staff also had everything boxed up for us for a couple days later to pick up.

Day of - Kevin. Kevin did an amazing job with allergies and intolerances. He also helped with two of our families who used the chairlift. They were both treated with immense dignity and respect in a vulnerable situation.

Day of - Catering Team and Bartenders: having a non-alcoholic drinks bar was definitely outside of the norm but the staff were amazing. They always gave me extra cherries in my drink because they knew i liked them. We also had a family member with dementia who they helped so kindly and graciously. The catering team was efficient, attentive, and fantastic. I’ve never seen a wedding where food was out so quickly. They did a fantastic job with a last minute seating change that they handled without me or my husband knowing. They also were alway serving water, which for me was a huge plus. The food was fantastic. Multiple people commented that it was the best catering they’ve ever seen.

Day of - Security: The security was fantastic. Since it is above a bar, they had security included in the venue. He was dressed in a lovely professional suit and was so kind to our guests. He helped some of our older people up and down the stairs and went above and beyond.

Overall, we truly had the best day. And not to brag, I think the best wedding i’ve ever been to (not just because it was mine).

I would really encourage anyone and everyone to consider twist as the space for their wedding. Not just because it’s a beautiful space, you can make many spaces beautiful. It’s the staff and team there that make it truly a wedding venue of your dreams. Truly we couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect day. I’ve never been to a wedding where it felt like nothing went wrong, until I worked with Twist.

I saw comments about the sound from the bar below, yes you could hear it, and that might impact weddings with dancing, but for us, we barely noticed it.

My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with our wedding at Twist! We had a destination wedding a few months before so we were able to compare planning for both and I cannot emphasize enough how much easier it was to plan our celebration at Twist!!! The staff were incredibly organized and made planning super easy and stress free! They were so accommodating with all of our requests and went above and beyond trying to make our day as special as possible. All pricing was super transparent and costs were incredibly reasonable. The food was absolutely delicious and we loved the intimate vibe of the space. Would 10000% recommend!!!!!

Twist Gallery was the perfect winter wedding venue! If you want to simplify your wedding planning without compromising a on a beautiful venue with top quality food and service I'd highly recommend. The stunning loft-style space with skylights, wooden beams, twinkly lights, and artwork create a beautiful ambiance. We hired a florist but had no other decor brought in and the place was stunning. Gusto’s catering was exceptional; our guests are still raving about the delicious food and top-notch service. Nadia and Nimna were fantastic to work with, always prompt and helpful. Highly recommend Twist Gallery for anyone looking for a unique and elegant event space!

If I could give Lindsay and Junilo 100 Stars on here, I would! L&J first came into our life when they shot my cousin’s wedding back in 2018, and they also did my sisters wedding last year! My husband and I knew we would be lucky to book these guys, and they truly made every event throughout our engagement/wedding the best 2 years of our lives. We moved across the country shortly after we got engaged and wondered how we would make it work with getting married back home (Ontario), but as it turns out we had nothing to worry about. L&J flew out to Banff, Alberta for our destination engagement shoot and researched the best locations, sunset times, and even city bylaw rules in certain fields and lakes to make sure we were well taken care of. They made our wedding day and night seamless and easy, dealing with vendor questions, family requests, and even rainy conditions during the ceremony. And we feel that we truly came out of this endeavour with 2 great friends! But above all of that - the work that they produce with their photography skills is unmatched to anything we’ve ever seen before. We constantly look at our wedding and engagement photos, reminiscing on our favourite memories, and are really grateful that we had L&J in our corner as young(ish) and inexperienced newlyweds. We love them and you will too!

We have used Ugo Photography twice now for maternity/family photos. Lindsay and Junilo are a great team. From the outset, we found them to be responsive and professional. They were knowledgeable and had great suggestions to get the best pictures, including how to dress, time of day and venues. They arrived early and prepared, and were great in dealing with our young daughter. Best of all, the photos turned out beautifully - we have had many compliments on them. Fantastic coordination of our son Michael and Maddy’s wedding with a group booking of over 46 of us from the smooth Air Transat flights and the meet and greet at the airport to the TRS coral and palladium hotels in Cancun was excellent.
We highly recommend travel with Ultimate destinations Michelle and the team were great to take care of us. Those resorts were tremendous, great variety of restaurants and beverages. Great accommodations and the pools were a dream. Very clean beaches, we will be back for sure.

I had a terrible experience working with Tara Halupa!

I fell ill a day to my trip and immediately informed her to help open my hotel accommodation for a future date. Tara refused, and kept reposting the terms and conditions. While I understand that there are terms and conditions, there are exceptions.

Inspite of her, I made efforts and contacted Sunwing and the Resort respectively. They were more amenable and were willing to make changes to accommodate me because this was a medical emergency.  The change was to enable travel on a different date after I am cleared to fly by my doctors. Both Sunwing and the Resort requested that I ask Tara to submit the request on her end! Tara refused to do so and kept resending me the T&Cs.

This was a trip I was looking forward to! It is such a shame that I have to lose over of $1500 because of Tara’s intransigence and refusal to reach out to Sunwing!  A little humanity goes a long way.

Suffice to say, While I appreciate Sunwing and the Resort for showing some level of flexibility, I know I cannot recommend anyone using Tara, because she makes nonsense of the word “service”.

Some will talk about the awe-inspiring building and others about their love for Umbra's sense of style, for objects that they need for their homes.

I must tell you, there are also fascinating people who work here.

The store is wonderful and the staff are very friendly. The young man who was opening let me know they had a little display at the back of their store with gallery items so that was cool to check out. I find the store quite fascinating and some of the things really ingenious. Great place to go for creative storage solutions, especially if you live downtown and need something a little different than IKEA. Canadian designed. Be sure to check out the second floor where they have a lot of discounted items!

I went for Drag Brunch. The staff and service was incredible, the ambiance was great, and the drag performance by Miss Moco was spectacular. I’d definitely go back for special occasions or for a fun experience.

Me and my friends are vegan, and while the kitchen could accommodate, the options were pretty limited and lacked flavour and creativity. I’d highly recommend that the restaurant get more creative with vegan options and add something like vegan pancakes or waffles or get a vegan egg option.

I’ll definitely go back, just hope that in the future the food becomes more fun for vegans.

Was at The Drake Underground for a concert recently: Venue holds 200 and is downstairs from street level, but there's an accessible entrance through the hotel lobby & an elevator to take you down (a staff member needs to escort you because a key fob is required & the corridor goes past the dressing room(s) and side of the stage - right to the front of the house). The bar & staff handling admissions are at the back of the house - up a short flight of stairs - so you won't be able to get up there with a mobility device & will have to ask staff or your companion(s) to scan your ticket or get you a drink.

The accessible bathroom is back on the main floor, beside the elevator, and there's a bar/restaurant just off of the lobby too (you don't need the key fob or staff assistance to return to the main floor, but you will need it to get back down to the venue).

Overall, it's a great spot to catch a live show & staff were friendly and very helpful! Intimate size, sound is great, and you can get right up to the stage.

Took my daughters to lunch here today while visiting Toronto. I had the Hanoi bowl and it was delicious. Had a light summer taste, very enjoyable. Service was friendly and quick.

All around good venue. The staff was excellent. The food was great. The venue is clean, sleek and sound good. Thanks to the Underground and Bailey for throwing a great show. I can't wait to come back.

GO now and ask for Jaffer whose 5* service makes what may be a difficult process actually fun. He’s an afficiendo of lighting and been there for many years. Jaffer understands the intricacies of design, style and function. I simply showed him pictures and he was able to identify what would look not only the best but compliment each room. He saved me lots of time by emailing pictures, explaining the process, brightness, bulbs and seeing what would arrive in the timeframe we needed it. He has great taste and is dream to work with.

We got the full house lighting purchased from Union lighting and furnishings and it was an amazing experience for us. They have tons of products and quality is one of the best. This is a one stop solution for any lighting and furnishings need. We dealt with Mr Jaffer and he is a gem of a person. He navigated us throughout the process and made our experience awesome. One of the best sales person I have ever met.

I had purchased a Transglobe brand chandelier in BC a few years ago. When one of the globes broke, my local shop was unwilling to contact the seller to get a replacement for me. Strangely, Transglobe wasn't able to replace it for me either as they don't sell to the public so they gave me the contact of 3 resellers in Ontario. Union Lighting, being the only reseller who replied, responded quickly to me and was able to locate one spare globe and sent it out to me in BC at a fair price. They have an excellent customer support team!! Highly recommend buying from a place with a good customer support team like theirs!

Unique Entertainment Group was the best to work with for our wedding day, Michael provided us with all the answers in our initial meeting and set us up with the online portal which was so easy to use and really helped us along with the planning. Steve was our DJ and he really did an incredible job engaging with our guests through his great personality, we had a wide range of guests and multicultural music which was blended perfectly throughout the night. We really didn’t give much direction other then we want everyone to be dancing and Steve sure did deliver. We are truly thankful for everything Steve , Michael and the team at Unique Entertainment Group did for us.

I love this bakery. Here's cake is so soft and nice sweetness, not too sweet. My favorite is Nescafe cake. Walnuts cookies are also good. Price is reasonable. Staff are kind and always welcome me with smile. I really thank them for great service!

Dropped by yesterday to pick up some puff pastries and cake rolls and they were all so delicious! I definitely think the cream puff pastry is one of their bests. The cream inside the bun is so fluffy but also not too sweet. It’s perfect!

We have been this downtown location for Four times for furniture shopping for our new condo! We liked the sleek and modern design. Great design, you need to raise budget to afford some pieces of furniture but but they are largely reasonable. Staff are helpful and friendly. Stay tuned for promotions on select items!

As soon as you walk in, you get a friendly hello at the door. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. They are attentive, but not pushy. Store is clean and well-kept.

I have to give a perfect review for not only custom sofa bed chaise I purchased but the amount of attentiveness and support I received from the entire team (extra shout out to Bailey, Jason, and Sarah).

It was so difficult finding what I needed for my space (condo sized, pull out bed, reversible chaise, and the fabric I need to endure a 95-lb dog). I never entered the door or bought products online from UB but took a glance and ended up loving the sofa I got to sit on in store.

I visited twice; first time was to look/try sofas and Sarah helped me through their fabric swatches and build options. Everything we talked about was emailed to me with a price quote, dimensions, and fabric grade. Second time was to put in the purchase with Bailey and Jason; they ended up saving me hundreds of dollars by telling me to wait and I didn't have to go back into the store to confirm the purchase.

Bailey followed up promptly via phone call, confirmed my order and information, and told me it would be a 4-6 week wait time as it was a customized order.

I got the notification from the delivery team (via AMJ) approximately 3 days before the first delivery date option at around the Week 5 mark.

My new sofa looks fantastic in the space and I can't wait to host family and friends over. I will be coming back as a regular for all my home purchases!

Excellent food. The meatball and sauce stopped me in my tracks. The side of pad thai was also very good and tasted fresh. My boyfriend enjoyed the chicken parm sandwich. I had an iced coffee with cinnamon syrup that was so good. The service was so friendly, patient and excellent. Fair prices. I would absolutely recommend stopping here.

I highly recommend Urban Fare! Angela gave great advice —she helped me choose delicious appetizers for our family event that worked perfectly for our gluten-free and vegetarian family members. The platters provided by Urban Fare were beautifully arranged, clearly labeled, and ready to serve. The variety and quality of appetizers they provided made our all-appetizer celebration truly special!

Ordered food for catering... The salmon was disgusting. I could not even eat the whole piece. The soup noodles were disgusting, the soup and the meatballs were the only things that were good about this meal. Everything else was just horrid..

For paying so much money for catering you would expect good food. It used to be really good but now its just awful.

(edit just found out the soup broth wasnt even from urban fare it was home made LOL)

Used Urban Fare catering for my mother‘s milestone birthday party. The food was excellent. The catering manager worked within my budget and created an exciting and The waiter who they sent was phenomenal. All around an excellent experience.

Had a great takeout of potato/egg salad with meatloaf for the lunch special! The meat and sauce were filling with a nice sweet kick and the salad was creamy and nicely seasoned. Their lunch specials are only $10 and feel like real home cooking in comparison to the fast food eats around here. I look forward to my next trip to see their lunch special :)
