I ordered the Salted Chocolate Caramel cake for my husband’s birthday. It was so good! A beautiful cake, amazing flavour and not overly sweet which is exactly what we were looking for. I ordered a cake from Mama J's for my son and our friend's mutual birthday celebration and we were blown away. We had our wedding cake made by Any and we are so grateful for the work she has done.
Communicating with her and ordering the cake was simple. Her website is easy to navigate and clear on prices.
She delivered the cake on time the day of the wedding and it was even better than I could've imagined it. She respected all the requests we had for her and brought this gorgeous red velvet cake. The cake itself was delicious.

With the 2 tier cake that serves between 64-80 people according to her website, we had plenty for our 90 guests.

My order had some extra challenges (as I'm not in Canada) and she helped me navigate them beautifully. And everyone was wowed by the cake.

The cake was beautiful, just like the pictures, but did not taste like a 100$ cake.. It's really cute but disappointed with the quality of the bake. I bought Barbari bread from Nili pastry and it was absolutely delicious — fresh, soft, and full of flavor. The size of the bread was really big and it covered two meals. Their cream puffs are also amazing and very tasty.

We googled pastry shop near my place and landed on Tania’s Patisserie and discovered it was a home business. My husband and I, decided we wanted to order our babyshower cake from Tania and support the business. I of course went through her reviews and they were really good. And I definitely agree with them, the cake was very pretty and delicious. It was not too sweet and perfect creaminess and icing to it. Everyone loved it and most importantly the mother to be and father to be really loved it:) Tania was wonderful with communicating with me over instagram or phone and provided her professional opinion to help us with our cake. I would definitely recommend her if you guys are looking for very yummy cake and beautiful ones too.

I don’t even know how to thank our baker enough. We had a last-minute cancellation for our wedding cake, and she so generously stepped in, worked with us on super short notice, offered a very reasonable price, and still managed to bring our vision to life perfectly. Not only was the cake exactly what we wanted aesthetically, but it was also delicious — the kind of cake people actually remember.

She also made verrines for us that we served as a late-night snack and let me tell you… not a single one was left. People devoured them. I just got a compliment last weekend about the tiramisu one, and our wedding was in June!

I ordered a pistachio cake with chocolate buttercream. The cake was moist and tasted great. We could see the tiny pieces of pistachio in the cake. The chocolate buttercream paired well. The cake was not oversweet. The children loved it and wanted more.

Michelle created the most gorgeous and autumnal cake for my partner Lindsay’s birthday last week, based on the colour scheme Lindsay had picked for decorations and some flavour preferences I shared with Michelle. The result blew us all away. Everyone remarked on how delicious the cake was and how it wasn’t overly sweet like a typical birthday cake. The time and care put into each detail (peach lime honey syrup???) was remarkable.

Michelle went over and above - not only in terms of the design and flavour of the cake, but also in her professional and timely communication and the lovely photos she took of the cake (which was especially helpful because we didn’t take enough photos before cutting into the cake during the party). We will definitely commission another cake from Reverie Deli for a special occasion in the future.

Michelle creates such stunning landscapes on cakes. The flavour profiles are so unique, and she is such a delight to work with. She created this gorgeous custom cake for my friend's birthday and it was absolutely incredible. Communication with her was fast and easy and the cakes come with a cute little card that has all the flavour descriptions on it which is such a sweet touch.

I am so grateful to have found Sweet Pearl Bake Shop. They came to my rescue when I needed a special request ready for my daughter. We have a tradition of cookies on every first day of school and I was not able to get to Ottawa to deliver her cookies this year as she starts her 3rd year at Carleton University.
The owner was not only kind and very friendly, but she went above and beyond to make this a memorable treat for my daughter. She even offered to add a personalized note and packaged the goodies beautifully for pick-up. The attention to detail was amazing and it was clear that she genuinely cares about her customers.

The ordering process was seamless and Pryia was able to provide a cake with only one week's notice. The cake was beautiful and the strawberry buttercream was especially tasty. The cake was vanilla and it may be on me for not picking a bolder flavour, but I found it a bit bland. I have no double about Pryia's baking ability, though, and I would not hesitate to order another cake from Sweet Pearl.

There’s something extra special about baked goods from a business owner. Priya takes the time to chat with you, to explain ingredients and modify if necessary. A type of quality you just can’t find from pre-made, store bought goods. Her cookies are SO delicious and a hit with kids and adults alike. They are the perfect addition to birthdays and holidays making your desert spread look elevated. These are also SUCH a perfect gift idea, as she takes the extra step on finishing touches with packaging your orders beautifully. I highly recommend ditching the store bought treats and ordering from Sweet Pearl. You will not be disappointed.

I am from Toronto, I found this shop randomly and after looking at insta page, I decided to order. I called and I was so impressed. Owner(Priya), was very accommodating. I ordered cake for one of my dearest one who is away from family. She understood my point. She did not only baked nice cake but also took care of feeling. She delivered the cake with candles. I really loved her services and cake was also very tasty. Whenever I will go to Ottawa, would love to meet her. Price is also very reasonable.

It was identical to the inspiration photo I gave her and the flavor and texture of the cake was 10/10! Amanda was super responsive and very easy to work with, quickly coming up with a fun design for our Toy Story themed cake. The cake decoration was stunning and equally amazing inside. I was particularly impressed with how thin the fondant was. Multiple people at our party said it was the most beautiful cake they'd ever seen!

I ordered a ball cap cake for my Dad's 80th Birthday, decorated with his favorite Team, the Toronto Blue Jays, and featuring his lifelong love of playing the game and watching his favorite team. The cake was beyond my greatest expectations and the detail on the cap was impeccable, right down to the stitching ! Nobody wanted to eat it because it looked so real! I ordered a Biscoff cake from The Bake Stage for my boyfriend’s birthday, and honestly, I was so impressed. I had seen a design I loved on a different kind of cake and asked if it was possible to do something similar—and they totally pulled it off!

The little details made it so special—his name written nicely, cute little red hearts, and Biscoff biscuits on top. It looked so pretty, and the taste? Even better. Super moist, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness. We both loved it!
