Amy and Linda at short notice did up amazing birthday cupcakes for my daughter who works at Mahogany spa in Carlton Place with beautiful pieces on the cupcakes themed with her job, nail polish bottle make up compacts etc the detail that Amy and Linda put into their art of design and creating the theme I really wanted was above and beyond what I could ever imagine. The staff and managers were blown away and wanted to know where the cupcakes came from I happily provided the contact info and name of business . Would definitely recommend way over 5 star.

I’m not entirely sure if it was Linda or Amy that I spoke with over the phone about a month ago (I think it was Amy), but I’ve been meaning to give her a huge shoutout! She was absolutely amazing—so professional, incredibly kind, and genuinely such a joy to speak with.

We were in a bit of a bind and needed a custom cake on very short notice—like, two days—and Amy didn’t even flinch. She jumped right in, offered us options, and did everything she could to help make it happen. That kind of service is so rare, especially when it comes to custom cakes (and understandably so!).

But between the quality of their cakes and the incredible service, I honestly don’t think I’d ever order from anywhere else.

In the end, our friends decided not to go through with the order due to budget concerns, but I was blown away by the entire experience. I didn’t even get to try the cake, and yet I already know I’ll be ordering from here in the future just based on how wonderful the service was.

Also, I want to sincerely apologize if I put her in a difficult spot that day—I know it was a lot to ask last-minute, but she handled it with such grace. Seriously, thank you!

Ordered one of each flavour of mini cake for the dessert table at my mum's 60th birthday party we were hosting at the Brookstreet Hotel. Our balloon colours were sapphire blue, different shades of purple, and rose gold, and I asked that the cakes were "fun" and "fresh" looking. The whole process from ordering to pickup was easy--and after I was a proper goof and forgot to send her the money for them right away, she went out of her way to squeeze my order back in when I realized. My expectations were blown away--they were adorable and really made the dessert table. I hate fondant, so was so excited about the buttercream icing which was as good as she says hers is. And for anyone concerned about picking up the cakes ahead of your event so having to freeze them, I froze mine for three weeks before my event. As instructed by TGWTMC, I plastic wrapped the box of cakes and put it in the freezer. They thawed on the day just fine, and looked the same as they did when I picked them up. The cakes were still moist and oh so delicious. Will definitely be ordering from here again--I think it is the perfect size of cake at such a fair price tag for celebrating a friend's birthday with them.

I can’t recommend Purple Cake enough. Every cake Paige creates is so amazing and is an absolute masterpiece. She made my birthday cake, and it was perfect – beautifully designed and so delicious! Her attention to detail and ability to customize exactly what you want is unmatched. I won’t get my cakes from anyone else but her. Ps: this cake slice is sooo yummy too! The most gorgeous cupcakes I've ever seen! Emaculate detail. Bev was very accommodating and easy to deal with. Even the restaurant we went to for dinner said their pastry chef had never seen anything like this and was impressed with the level of detail. I would highly recommend this place! The only thing I will say is they are quite sweet, so if you have a sweet tooth, you'll be right at home.

I ordered these cupcakes for my daughter’s 18th birthday based on the beautiful photos on the website. It was a last minute plan, but Bev was so helpful over the phone and she arranged for quick delivery on the morning of our party. The cupcakes were delicious and made a lovely centrepiece. Very easy to serve as well.

I have had the pleasure of enjoying cupcakes from The Sweet Spot on a couple of occasions now, and I have never been disappointed! Bev is not only a fantastic baker (yes, they actually do taste as good as they look), but she is also an incredible artist. The cupcake bouquet (16 pcs) I ordered was beyond stunning… Each piece is such a magnificent work of art, it’s tempting to just sit around ogling them instead of eating them. At least 3 people thought they were actually real flowers, and could hardly believe they weren’t. We ordered a 7 cupcake bouquet with custom colours to match our bride's wedding bouquet and Bev was super kind enough to be able to fit our order in within her fully booked schedule! The cupcakes were wrapped nicely with a cute bow and packaged well to make sure the entire bouquet will be stable. These cupcakes look even more amazing in person and tastes super delicious too! But Wafa did an incredible job creating exactly what I envisioned! We originally just wanted something pretty but after trying the first slice, it was also very delicious!! We ordered coffee with honey cake which was absolutely 10/10 perfectly made. What makes the place extra special for us is the friendly owner, who was very nice and offered a complimentary dessert, which was such a kind touch.Definitely I will go again. This store is such a lovely place, and elegantly decorated with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The owner has an incredible eye for design, and her taste truly shines through in every detail. I enjoyed the delicious Turkish coffee and the delightful Moldova cake
I also placed a custom order here for a friend overseas who wanted to surprise her friend in Canada. The team at Cake Toronto did an a great job with both the cake and the flowers, my friend was absolutely happy with the result!
When i went to the store to inquire about the order i met the owner, Bahar (if I remember the name correctly), and her husband. They were both so kind, welcoming, and professional.
