Sweet Home Bakery has that charming, old-school vibe you just don’t see much anymore. It’s been around for a long time, and you can tell- it feels warm, welcoming, and unpretentious. They’ve got a variety of baked goods, all tasty without being over-the-top fancy, and the prices are refreshingly reasonable. We tried the donut, vanilla slice, and apple turnover- all hit the spot. Nothing overly flashy, but everything was fresh and satisfying. I’ll definitely drop in again if I’m in the neighborhood.

The employees here are top notch and have amazing communication. The baked goods are fresh and vegan friendly! Very homey and made with commitment. The location is not a strength but is made up for by the undeniable tastiness of the baked goods!

Good old fashioned bakery with a few modern touches. From Butterhorns and cinnamon buns to macarons and homemade bread and buns like my mom used to bake, this place is good value and deserves a visit to check it out. Not open Sundays.

This long-establish bakery on St.Clair has been serving locals over 60 years! It’s such a lovely bakery with a great vibe. They’ve got baked goods, sandwiches, daily specials, breads, coffee, and even gelato!

I know this bakery has been around for a long time. I've tried and tried to like this bakery but I just cannot recommend it.

As far as food presentation is on point. You can see from the photos the zeppole look great however they don't taste the best based on my testing of several other bakeries.

The prices at the hot food counter have continued to rise and I now find them unreasonable for what you get.

One thing I do like is the Sicilian bread.

Tre Mari Bakery in Toronto is a true gem! Their sfogliatella is hands down the best I've ever had—perfectly crisp, flaky, and filled with rich, flavorful goodness. Every treat here is crafted with care, and the pistachio desserts are absolutely divine.

Beyond the incredible pastries, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, thanks to the friendly staff who always greet you with a smile. The customer service is top-notch, making every visit a delightful experience. If you're looking for authentic, high-quality Italian goods, this is the place to be.

They really spare no expense in delivering the perfect environment for their guests. Now I understand why they’ve been in business 65 years. Their staff seem to be in a pleasant mood too.

So happy I found this bake shop! We celebrated my daughter’s birthday in Calgary and it’s usually hard to find a beautiful and delicious cake. This one stood out. The flavor was raspberry and lychee which tasted amazing and not too sweet. The ambience was also lovely, especially with their high tea setup. I really hope they open a branch in Edmonton so we can enjoy it here too!

Willow did an amazing job on my custom heart shaped cake order. They were able to match the design and color I was looking for. I appreciate you accommodating and my girlfriend loved it! I was visiting Banff for a short trip from the US. I recommend supporting this business!

Better for Cream Cakes Than Regular Cakes?

Last year, I ordered a strawberry miniature cake for my birthday. It was very cute. Although it had a lot of icing and felt a bit dry, I didn’t mind too much because I wanted it for photos.

This year, I ordered two cakes: a red velvet heart-shaped bento cake and a 6" mocha hazelnut cake with a vintage design (see photos).

Unfortunately, the red velvet cake didn’t live up to expectations. It was dry, lacked flavour, and was overwhelmed by icing. It did not have the taste or texture of a professionally made red velvet cake, which was disappointing.After reading other reviews, I found that others had a similar experience.

Naturally, I was worried about the mocha hazelnut cake—but to my relief, it was fantastic. While the icing had a chemical and sour taste, the cake itself was delightful. I really enjoyed the combination of textures: a soft genoise sponge layered with fresh cream, crunchy hazelnuts, and smooth chocolate ganache. It was unique and genuinely a joy to eat.

In summary: From both my experience and others’ reviews, it seems that this bakery excels more with cream cakes than traditional ones. If you’re planning to order, I’d recommend going that route. Also, the staff were friendly, which made the overall experience more pleasant.

Went to Willow Cake and Bake for an afternoon tea and couldn’t be more impressed! All of the food, pastries, and tea were delicious. The room was decorated beautifully and the staff were super kind and helpful during our experience. We were totally blown away. We will definitely be back for another tea and to try some more pastries!

A historical bakery tucked away in a small neighbourhood. Great cannoli (a pleasant hint of cinnamon and not too sweet). Cookies were just ok. Service is friendly and prompt.

This pastry shop is famous for italian pastry specially Cannoli and Zeppole. The first of all, the staff who are working there are very welcoming and helpful. About pastries, I have tried 2 types of cannoli , cheese cake . they were really good, delicious but not excellent. But it really worths at lesat one going there and trying their pastries. Also, the cookies seemed very tasty. next time, I will try their cookies and Tiramisu.

I ordered a BD cake for 40$ and no one could eat more than one bite. Most of it was cream not cake and it was terribly sweet. In fact, The cream was awful. Moreover, The design was not what I asked for. I wanted chocolate drops all around the cake designed by white chocolate. they gave me one with no drops and what the hell... red??? I prefer to go with one of the ordinary cakes in grocery stores.

Cute Italian bakery, easily accessible from the highway and easy to find.

We have been going here for years and love everything from their Italian pizza, paninis to pastries. It is the only bakery that we go to for cannolis they are Amazing!!!

I recently found this nice bakery near my job. I really liked the desserts I ordered and will definitely be back again to try more.

Must visit place. I love this store. Best donut cake in the world. The donut cake here is my absolute favorite. The grand old lady of the restaurant makes it with so much love and care soft, creamy, and perfectly coated in chocolate with a crunch of almonds. It tastes unforgettable! I miss her.

The vendors are really nice. Always respectful and patient. They nicely place the desserts in the box and wrap with a rope. I buy when I can because of their respectful customer service and delicious cakes!! Today I got 4 strawberry cakes, 2 croissant cakes, 2 Mille feuilles, and 1 other cake. All 9 cakes slices for 38$. This was my second time trying the slice cake and I am absolutely love these cakes. The first time I showed up and the sliced cakes were almost sold out. This time around I placed an order online and picked up my order today. I purchased Salted Caramel Carrot Cake & Strawberry shortcake. I was welcomed and the atmosphere was awesome. I will most definitely order a bigger cake. I most definitely recommend 🤎

I came into the shop and purchased two cake slices, a brownie and banana pudding.
The owner is very kind and helpful, the store is very clean and organized.

Sorrel and raspberry cake slice - I will not lie, this cake was dry. The flavouring of the ingredients was amazing but hard to appreciate when the cake itself is so dry, even down to the icing. I let it sit out for 2 hours so idk if maybe it was just a bad batch?

The carrot cake however, was one of the BEST cakes I’ve ever had in my entire life. So moist, full of flavour and the perfect caramel ratio! Never had a carrot cake so light and delicious. Really enjoyed that slice and if I ever did come back, that would be the one I’d get. Highly recommend. 11/10!!

S’mores brownie - amazing concept but I found the brownie to be a bit cakey which is fine, my family are I guess more fudgy brownie folks. But good chocolate flavour, the marshmallow on top was nice too.

And finally the banana pudding - I wanted to love this, I really did but I have beef with banana pudding that doesn’t have bananas IN it. Again, personal preference I suppose The flavour was good but not as banana forward as I’d like (again, for obvious reasons) but the pudding texture was nice and the cookies on top were still crunchy after a full day in the fridge.

Overall I like the spot, I’m a big advocate for supporting small business especially when they’re female and poc owned. I will be back for that carrot cake in the future.

Got a vegan/gluten free chocolate cake slice and wow it was so delicious. The flavour of the cake was great and the icing was amazing! My family couldn’t tell it was gluten free or vegan. My only feedback was the cake was a bit dry.

I don't live downtown nor do I drive, so it took me 2 hours to get here and I was a bit disappointed with my overall experience.

I bought 4 brownies and the caramel banana pudding. The banana pudding was great, gave most of it to my sister who lives for banana pudding and she loved it. 10/10 for that.

The brownies I bought were:
Cornflake, Red Velvet, S'mores, and the Everything brownie.

Cornflake: This is truly the brownie I came down for. I saw the malted cornflakes and I knew I had to have it. It was as good as it looks too. 10/10

S'mores: The homemade marshmellow was perfect, wow. And the graham cracker bottom was great too. It was so fudgy as well. 10/10

Everything: The pretzel on top tasted stale. You know how left out pretzels get that damp kind of texture to it? That's how it was. It was not crunchy at all. I also didn't really like the add-ins inside the brownie either. I gave this one to my mom but she didn't like it either as she found it to be too sweet, which definitely wasn't an issue for me personally. 5/10 since it wasn't the taste for anyone in my household.

Red Velvet: I had high hopes for this one. The cream cheese was great; I took some of it off so I could eat it after I finished the brownie. The brownie was thick and fudgy too, but like the Everything brownie, it had a lot going on texture wise that I just really didn't like. I wondered if there was walnuts or some other kind of nut in the brownie. I am not allergic to most nuts, but I do not eat nuts. And with every bite, there was just something hard in the brownie, it bothered me so much... If not nuts, I wonder if there is something freeze dried in it? Either way, it was disappointing to eat.. 6/10

Overall, it's obvious these brownies are made with high quality ingredients and they're very thick and fudgy. It's just that some were a sensory nightmare for me.

The owner of BAS is so charismatic on social media but walking into the quiet quaint store, not being greeted, and talking to an employee in the middle of their lunch break (?) who came off like they didn't want to be there was a bit off putting. Her magnetic charm on social media doesn't really translate to the overall ambience of the store, but honestly that's not her fault.

Would I come back? Yes. Would I take another 2 hour transit ride to come back? Absolutely not. Do I think she needs to start selling those malted cornflakes on their own? Also yes! I even took some of the cornflake topping off to eat after I finished the brownie.

Overall experience was average. The ones that were good were really good. The ones that weren't so good were still high quality. This is a place worth going to if you already live downtown.

My review is going to be based off eating the spinach and feta pastry and the beauty of this cafe. I’ve passed a few times and the outside is simple yet captivating. That was THE best spinach and feta pastry I think I’ve ever had. It had a delicate crunch and lovely smooth filling. It was perfect. The cakes are swoon worthy, elegant & cute! I fell in love with the interior. Staff were very kind and friendly. Wonderful & whimsical aesthetic!

I joined a cake decorating class here with friends, and it was such a fun experience. The instructor was fantastic. She walked us through each step clearly, answered all our questions with patience, and even gave me a hand when I got stuck on my design. It was a little on the pricey side, but absolutely worth it. We got to choose between passion fruit or vanilla cakes and mix our own colors, which made it extra creative. The time flew by so quickly.

As a bonus, we arrived a bit early and tried some of their food and drinks before class. Everything was delicious, and we loved that we could continue enjoying them while decorating.

I’d definitely recommend this class to anyone looking for a unique and fun activity.

Had a fantastic morning with a double espresso and a spinach feta pastry. The whole vibe was so relaxing and the service was top-notch. It was the perfect escape from the city rush.

I was really looking forward to this caramel-flavored birthday cake, but unfortunately it didn’t meet expectations. The taste was overwhelmingly sweet and slightly bitter, with barely any caramel flavor — mostly just butter and sugar. For $60, the portion was surprisingly small. Disappointed overall.

I haven’t tried the cupcakes yet, but I feel compelled to write a review strictly on service.
My son fell asleep in the car on our way to pick up his bday cupcake.
I couldn’t just leave him in the car to run in grab the cupcakes and leave.
In a panic I called the store and was able to order and pay over the phone while the kind girl brought out my order to the car. Not many would go out their way to do something so simple, but it means so much.
We’ll be coming here from now on.

Placed an order for two dozen very berry cupcakes for a baby shower that I hosted. They were ready when they said they would be and were fresh and delicious. I love that their icing isn’t too sweet. Would definitely order from them again!

I recently ordered a custom decorator choice cake from cake bake shoppe. The service was immpecable and the cake itself was absolutely delicious, everyone enjoyed it. I can't say how much I love this place. As someone with a severe peanut and tree nut allergy, its so rare to find desserts that I can eat without fear of dying. The carrot cake is my favourite, but we also picked up cookies n cream, very berry, salted caramel, coconut, and cherry chip. So so good.
Their old shop used to have some cozy tables and chairs so you could sit and eat a cupcake there, but the new shop doesn't have it and I miss that!

I ordered the Labubu iced cookies and they were absolutely adorable and delicious! The details were so well done — you can really see the craftsmanship and love in every cookie. Perfect for gifts, parties, or just to treat yourself. Highly recommend for anyone who loves cute and tasty treats!

This Mango Cream Cake is a slice of heaven! The cream filling is incredibly soft, fluffy, and light — like biting into a cloud. It’s rich yet soft, with a natural, smooth texture that melts in your mouth. Topped with fresh, ripe mango slices, it’s a refreshing balance of creamy and fruity. I will definitely come back again!

Ordered a vanilla cake. My god, it was terrible. It didn’t taste like anything. The cream was really bad and the bread also had a weird after-taste. On the cake, the birthday message was written with white icing, on a white cake so you couldn’t even see it. Surprised seeing these good reviews.

This cake shop is really great! The cake is fresh and delicate, sweet but not greasy, and the taste is very good. Especially their cheesecake and thousand-layer cake, which melt in the mouth and are full of fragrance, can't help but buy a few more every time I come. The environment in the store is warm and clean, and the service attitude is also very warm and thoughtful, which makes people feel very comfortable. Whether it's a daily gathering, or a customized cake for birthdays and holidays, it is very recommended! I will visit you often in the future!

We ordered our wedding cake and cupcakes, I sent over pictures of the cake and COLOUR, sage green ! We even went in person, to write up our order… so no mistakes would happen …. All our decor was sage green, our wedding was over $35k, annnnnnd we got a baby blue wedding cake and cupcakes…. Our wedding photos are going to be so awkward…. Truly a huge disappointment. No quality control or care, offered a refund for 1/3…. Should of been offered a full refund, especially since the owner delivered it and still didn’t see a issue with everything in the ballroom with Sage Green everywhere, our florist tried her best to cover it with flowers😬

Cakeworks yearly is my go-to place for my child’s birthday cake. The service is unmatched, timely, what you told you will get is what you receive. The flavours are great, kids love them, and the creativity is unparalleled. Highly recommend. I no longer live nearby however, will purposely go out of my way to order here, and pick up. Thank you for making my child’s birthday cakes for the past almost 12 years!

I recently came across this amazing shop after having a terrible experience with another coming when ordering custom cookies for my grandfathers celebration of life. It was literally down to the wire but I had to pivot, fire the previous company, and regroup which was so stressful BUT I definitely had my grandpa looking down on me because I randomly found a hello dolly’s. They not only took the project on, we’re super friendly and confident that they could get it done, they also completely exceeded our expectations on the cookies themselves! I cannot thank them enough for the amazing work they did. Most of my family couldn’t eat them, they were so beautiful and so sentimental. Hands down the best experience ever!! While I've been a casual customer of Hello Dolly's over the last few years (picking up cookies, stationary, and accessories at ComicCons, and in store) I feel that posting a review has been long overdue!

The owner and staff are always so friendly and kind, and the cookies are delicious! And their cookie advent calendars are so much fun - highly recommend ordering one! I adore ScienceCobs designs and stationery and I have several pieces of hair accessories from Angelita & Co.

Most recently I placed a custom cookie order for the first time for an event (Bridal Shower - Sailor Moon themed) and the outcome blew me away! They turned out so incredible, I love/loved them so so so much. I can't thank you enough. I could feel the love and effort that was put into designing and making them. In addition, I needed a few of the cookies to be vegan/gluten free and they were able to accommodate for that as well.

They were a hit at the event too :)

This place is amazing! I have been waiting 2 years to come here, and it was worth the wait.

The cookies are ABSOLUTELY adorable and delicious! Not only that, but their entire kitchen is NUT-FREE. Which, for someone like me who has a life threatening nut allergy, is a god send.

They also sell a lot of cute merch (tote bags, keychains, badge pins etc) and I LOVE that they’re queer friendly, and pay their employees a liveable wage.

The owners and staff are so kind, friendly, and welcoming. They are wonderful people, and definitely deserve ALL your business! Go go go go go!!!! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Ottawa. :)

terrible, dry as a rock, STALE, price was not displayed on the cookie, a single one costed me 7 WHOLE DOLLARS!!! for 7 dollars why am i getting artificial flavoured cookies? if you have braces or retainers it’s over. save your cash DO NOT COME HERE. no best before date either. how do i know if it’s a year old hm? absolutely atrocious do not waste your money!!!!!! also look at the picture— is that grey icing or mold?

We received two cakes and a selection of marzipan treats—and I’m still dreaming about them! The cakes were absolutely stunning and tasted even better than they looked: moist, rich, and beautifully balanced in flavor. You can really tell everything is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The marzipan was perfection—delicate, not too sweet, and clearly handcrafted with care. The staff was so friendly and helpful, making the whole experience feel extra special. A true local treasure - one I will definitely be visiting again for all.ocassions! My boys devoured the marzipan!

It has THE BEST Crème Brûlées in the city. I live far away from them but I order it often despite high delivery charges. Their different sweet boxes are worth exploring too. And of course their decadent cakes are worth every penny. Ive had their red velvet a few times coz my office always orders birthday cakes from them.

Only item I don’t like here is their Tiramisu.. it is too moist and takes cheesecakey more than tiramisu.

But otherwise everything is mouth watering here!! And they leave cute signature on their delivery bags, I love that!

I ordered a strawberry matcha Gâteau du jour cake for my sister's birthday. The cake looks nothing like the picture provided on the website and is honestly disappointing. What seems to be a pistachio lining on the outside was some form of whipped cream. The cake was very washed out and came with a delightful topping of grainy white chocolate and rotten strawberries. For a cake costing 50 dollars I expect it to look how it's shown on the website or atleast have edible toppings. Do not recommend. This cake is a clear representation of "expectation vs reality". I attempted to contact the bakery to adress my concerns and it immediately went to voice-mail.

I had originally requested a custom-sized 8" Red Velvet Vintage Cake for my sister’s birthday. Unfortunately, what arrived on the day was not only a completely different cake, but also noticeably far from the presentation shown on their website. It did taste good though.

I appreciated the attempt to make things right with the offer of a complimentary vintage cake of my choice, and I was genuinely pleased—until I requested the original cake I had ordered, only to be told that the initial quote I received was actually for an 8" mousse cake (the incorrect one that was sent).

Then I was offered two vintage cakes instead (their peach and chocolate)—but, of course, not the Red Velvet one, because it’s now suddenly no longer being made.

Too bad my sister doesn’t like peach or chocolate. So in the end, I passed on the complimentary offer.

Again thanks for trying making things right but hopefully, communication within your team gets a bit clearer in the future. Good luck !

Wow the rhum cakes are delicious even better if you add small extra rhum sauce

I am proud to say that there is a new player in the Haitian patty game. Dcake understands what it means to be good, great even. I think they put love and passion into their patties because I promise you I had rarely ever felt so good eating something. They were tender, light , crunchy in just the right spots and absolutely delicious. More people need to be aware of this hidden gem. I think they need more publicity, perhaps influencer content as well just so they get the recognition they deserve.

I recently tried Dcake Rum Cakes and they are absolutely delicious! Each individual cake is perfectly portioned, moist, and bursting with flavor. I sampled four flavors: Original, Red Velvet, Kremas & Caramel, and Piña Colada. The Kremas & Caramel was especially rich and smooth, and the Piña Colada had a tropical twist that I loved. The sweetness is just right not too much, not too little. Highly recommend if you're looking for a flavorful, satisfying dessert!

We order the birthday cakes for my children’s birthdays here year after year. And with good reason! The custom decorations are always exactly as requested, and the cakes are beyond delicious! I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

It is the second consecutive year i order a customized kids birthday cake with Mlles Gateaux and each time the result was amazing! great esthetics and very yummy cakes… Not too sweet and buttery, perfect balance of flavors.

A little expensive, but great for special occasions! They have a limited-time flavour that changes, this time it was the hamburger which was excellent! 😍 There’s always people there, but service is fast. Highly recommend to try!

It's a great place to try if you are around, but I must say this place is more about the look then the taste and its really expensive. They all are really different, each flavor as a different style of interior, some have a little crunchy, some have a little cream, some are more mixed texture. My favorite was definitely moka.

I went to visit yesterday and unfortunately the desserts were finished. Today I tried my luck again and after waiting in a long queue I was very happy when I saw the desserts. I bought a few varieties. Since the business is very small there is limited seating but the overall concept is good. It has been three years since I came to Canada and it has become my favorite patisserie so far. I hope it will always show this care and not change. The price is a bit high in terms of performance but the desserts are quite delicious. In my opinion, I did not like the Mango one. All the other desserts were perfect. I also want to mention that the business is really clean.

They have nice light but flavourful desserts that filled your mouth with a new experience of treats that make you want to throw money at them and say “I’ll take them all”.

Their mango flavour was by far my favourite with the nice refreshing creamy and purée filled treat with a delicious thin white chocolate coating that’s so satisfying to break.

I hate to say it but the hype is real. These are pretty pricey, but in my opinion so worth it. The chocolate putter coating is perfectly thin, the cream is rich but not heavy, and the filling is decadent. I paid $66 for 3 desserts which is a hefty fee, but I think once in a while a culinary experience is worth the price! I would highly recommend the raspberry!

It is one of the best bakeries in town, if not the best. French bread and treats, gorgeous cakes, and pastries. I love this spot in Ottawa East End! Products are always fresh, and service is fast.

I ordered a two-layer cake for my son’s First Communion, requesting the bottom layer be chocolate and the top layer vanilla, as many of my guests, especially the children, prefer chocolate. However, both layers were vanilla. I paid $163 plus tax for the cake, which I felt was a premium price, and had to order additional chocolate desserts for my guests at the restaurant.
When I called the patisserie to complain, I was told to email a picture, which I did. They offered a 10% discount on my next order but stated there was nothing more they could do. I was disappointed with the lack of resolution, especially given the high price I paid. I declined the offer as I won’t be returning. This experience has left me questioning their customer service and commitment to customer satisfaction as it seems they are more focused on financial transactions than on ensuring the quality outcome of their products and service.

Best place in town to get desserts. Whenever I got a sweet tooth and need it satisfied this is the place! If your in tge area and want something sweet you should head here you wont be disappointed. Also has cakes and freshly baked breads.

We have supported this patisserie even at their old location. We are from the south end of Ottawa and it takes us roughly around 30 mins to get there, one way.
We particularly enjoy the lemon meringue pie and their spring cake and so much more. They have prepared my daughters birthday cake, which turned out well.
I could remember ordering a cake for my spouses birthday. (He is bilingual and I am not)
They have misspelled the greeting on the cake, which i didn't noticed until my husband was about to blow his candle. And that's okay.
Our most recent experience, we ordered the seasonal Valentine cake, it was advertised on their Facebook webpage and we ordered it. I opened the box at home and I noticed some elements were missing compared to what was advertised. (Yes, petty! I know!)
I had high esteem for the place but, these experiences made me disappointed.
We messaged them and none of the staff reached out to us.
I am not seeking for compensation or a refund, rather an acknowledgement from the team, and they can't serve subpar products, especially when they have steep prices.
(The seasonal cake was visually appealing, but very sweet.)

Ever since my family and I moved to Orleans, Patisserie Fine Delice Royal has become our absolute go-to spot for all things baked and sweet. This place is nothing short of perfection, and I cannot recommend it enough to anyone who appreciates top-notch pastries, bread, and desserts.

The crust is buttery and crisp, the custard is silky smooth, and the fresh fruits on top are always vibrant and perfectly ripe.

Their bread selection is also incredible—whether you're picking up a classic baguette or something more artisanal, you can taste the quality and freshness in every bite.

Patisserie Fine Delice Royal truly sets the bar high for bakeries, not just in Orleans but anywhere. It’s a gem of a place that combines excellent service, cleanliness, and mouthwatering baked goods to create an experience that keeps me coming back for more. I’ve been a loyal customer since we moved here, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

Huge delicious pastries and so affordable at $3.25 apiece. Decor is pretty. The only bad thing is the parking situation, not the easiest to get in and out of.

It's a nice place with both cakes and coffees being quite good. The prices are reasonable and there's a washroom available. The atmosphere is great, not crowded, and the decorations are nice. Although I couldn't find a place to charge my phone, I think I'll come here again.

The lady who serves doesn't know the word customer service. Her attitude is terrible. It's a shame because the product they sell is good. But if the staff doesn't know how to serve customers, it's better for them not to work in the field. She has a rude and arrogant attitude.

While the pastries are budget-friendly, I wasn’t too impressed with some of the sweets I tried. They were dry and lacked flavor.

As for cleanliness, it could definitely be better.

What a surprise! I’ve passed in front of this bakery 100’s of times over the last few years—and yesterday was the day that the stars aligned! Happy to have given this place a shot and having tried their flagship hot-dog in a (croissant) blanket (no picture, apologies), their tomato and burrata sandwich (top rated, bread is less fluffy than other places, but it’s likely explained by the fact that it’s leavened bread) and more. They also serve homemade beverages like an iced tea. Staff is very nice albeit a tad shy—and that’s fine too!

Great location, a quieter area with plenty of street parking too (bonus gas station right there).

All the treats are amazing, the best Almond Croissants in the city too, delicious sandwiches as well.

To top it off, very friendly staff and they are great baristas too. Got some cortados and they tasted great. Will for sure be coming back when I'm in Montreal always.

I've been ordering cakes from Patisserie Lawrence for several years, and I'm consistently impressed by the creativity and deliciousness of his creations. Whether it's a stunning doughnut tower or one of the many flavorful cake options, he never fails to deliver. I'm especially grateful for the times he's come through on short notice—thank you for always going above and beyond.

Really tasty croissant sandwiches, and nice comfortable booth and table seating. However, the entremet and macaron left much to be desired. These two pastries both tasted like they’ve been refrigerated over night and had a slight fridge taste. The entremet also had a really gelatinous blanket over the top that looked like it used to be a mirror glaze but was left in the fridge too long. As a pastry place, this was fairly disappointing. Their actual croissants are good though! Well laminated and super buttery.

Ordered a cake for my sisters baby shower as a present for her and it’s all everyone spoke about at the party! My favourite flavour is the lemon blueberry but we ordered the strawberry shortcake which was really good too! It’s light and airy (we’re not big fans of sweet American buttercream).

We ordered our wedding cake from Lien Phat. We originally chose them because we wanted to have a different flavor for our wedding cake. So we ended up choosing the pandan with lemon cream. We got a three-tiered cake that was all white with some real flowers.

The cake was everything we imagined. It was beautiful and elegant. The fact that the full cake was real and cost similar or even less to some other bakeries which would only give you one real layer in the presentation cake was amazing.

I was in communication with Karissa for our cake. She was very punctual in her replies and was so kind to help make our dream come true. We requested that she added a cake topper of my dog that we got on the cake and they Incorporated it perfectly.

Thank you Lien Phat for making our dream cake a reality! I would highly recommend them if anyone else needs a cake for their events.

I love this family-owned bakery. I had the pleasure to try many of their creations at various birthday, baby shower, and wedding celebrations over the years. The cake texture is light and it is not too sweet. I ordered their bestselling pandan flavour cake with a custom marble fondant design for my graduation party. I also got to try their lemon-raspberry flavour, litchi-rose flavour, and chestnut flavour cakes at a friend's bridal shower. My husband and I loved the chestnut flavour cake so much that we ended up having it for our wedding cake. We had a two-tier wedding cake with buttercream frosting, cake painting, and edible gold leaves - simple, elegant, breathtaking, and of course delicious! Thank you Lien Phat!

Change of concept. - i have to comply - had the best millefeuille of my entire life - balanced - execution was absolutely flawless - if you planed to eat desert on friday, just wait for saturday and be thanking me afterwards. Delicious light sweetness, the tart was so tasty & u can feel the taste of each different layer separately and was sooo fresh and high quality ingredients. The mille feuille also light & we liked the flavour of the coffee.

Didn’t like the place, no even small table to set , we ate it while we were standing & that’s a disadvantage because the prices are not normal & little bit overpriced due to the portion. ( for that reasons the 4 stars)

I ordered 1000 feuille for as a birthday cake. The size was 4-5 people which I found quite small but enough for two people (since we celebrated together).
The cake tasted fresh, really good. Personally, we were not fan of the coffee taste of one of the layers as we personally don’t like coffee.
We wish the website would give options to choose all vanilla and add a birthday inscription (which it didn’t and I had to request the day of and pay 5$)
Overall I would definitely try again their cakes. Thank you!

They make the absolute BEST suisse!!! It’s literally perfection. I’m not joking.

Also, their cakes are SO delicious (and I still dream about their bûche from the holidays).

Pro tip: Always get their seasonal savoury danish when it pops up on the menu!!
