The girls have always been lovely working inside the store. I got a ring engraved. Got a text that it was ready for pick up the website and Google says that they’re open till seven. I arrive right at 6 o’clock and a girl motions inside that they’re not open so a little frustratedI travelled a half hour across town for no reason.

My partner fell in love with a sapphire here at the queen location. I must say the customer service was fantastic. They were so warm and welcoming. Sarah, Sophie, Sarah and team were amazing. They were so helpful and supportive throughout the entire journey. Can’t say enough about the people working here and the beautiful one of a kind engagement ring!

If I could give them 10 stars I would! I ordered the "a deep love" band for my wedding band about 6 weeks before my wedding, cutting it a little close, but should be able to get it on time. Well I was clearly overwhelmed with wedding planning because I ordered the wrong size! By the time I realized, it was only 5 weeks before the wedding. I called them in a panic and let them know what happened, hoping they could help me. They were so amazing on the phone and did not make me feel stupid for my silly mistake. They even texted me and answered all of my questions. They said they could make it work, and were going to make me a whole new ring in the correct size because they didn't want to weaken it by resizing it. When I told them my wedding date they took that into consideration, and would rush ship it to me. I ended up getting it 1 week before the big day, and it is absolutely perfect! I love it so much, and it compliments my engagement ring so well. Thank you so much to this wonderful business for creating beautiful jewelry and having the best customer service.

Today July 31,2025 I went to this store at 10:30am. I asked the old man there if he could re-thread some broken pearls and jade beads. He says that I have to buy strings and each will cost $15, I thought that was a bit much so I asked if he could do each for $10...well he got down right rude told me to go elsewhere first time in this damn store so I went across to Hi beads which was a very good decision. She was patient and kind and she charged $8:00 each for all 5 items. Bling is ripping you off. Same work for less. Disgusting bad manner. I would be telling many not to come here. One star is way too much.

Hillary is so kind, knowledgeable, helpful, and FUN - like shopping with your best friend. I bought the most fantastical snake ring that I’ll treasure forever. Just say no to mass-produced jewellery from big box jewellers and treat yourself to something super special and unique from this gorgeous Canadian brand.

My experience with Hillary was very helpful when buying an engagement ring. She was very informative and knew all the specs of the ring I had in mind. The quality of the ring and other jewelry is magnificent and I'll definitely be coming back to this location for future purchases.

Not a company that I would ever endorse. The jewelry may look pretty but it is does not last with with the upmost gentle care. You can read dozens of reviews on Reddit of their various stores and it's always the same story of chains breaking, diamonds and gemstones falling off rings, etc.

Furthermore, the owner has a history of being manipulative and exploitive with her employees, even though she claims to empower women and be all woo woo spiritual. Please save yourself time, money and disappointment!

Never been to a shop that had every staff member treat each and everyone that walked into this most beautiful shop and wasn’t felt welcome.! Don’t waste your time. The only positive thing I can say is that my diamond is of very high quality. However, we have had such a headache dealing with them since day 1. My, now husband, was recommended this place by a friend to design my engagement ring. He gave photos of what we liked and he was basically told not to do the design (a very common and simple design at that). The ring took forever to be made. There was no communication during the waiting process. The sizing was completely wrong and had to be sized 2 different times. They have two different sizing sticks that do not line up with normal sizing. When the ring came back the first time, a diamond had fallen out (it was in the bag) and had to be sent back again. After wearing it for just over a year, I knocked it on a table and the whole setting bent forward. They told me it was because of the type of setting my husband insisted on (blaming us). So now, my ring has been sent off for a “full re-design” according to the designer, to strengthen the setting. They said it’s going to cost over $2000 to fix. In my opinion, this should have been done properly in the first place. It has been 5 weeks and I still haven’t had an update on when I’m getting it back, which they promised I’d get. When I called to inquire, they checked and said they hadn’t heard anything and they would have to check and see where it was sent and get back to me?! I am beyond frustrated. Don’t waste your time, money and energy on this place.

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Brinkhaus Calgary. Their unique store, housed in a charming downtown Calgary house, offers the convenience of dedicated parking. From the warm greeting to the exceptional service we received, everything was wonderful. A special thank you to Tom for his outstanding attention to detail in making my ring perfect. The store had a hiccup when I brought in my Cartier to have serviced and reconditioned, dropped it off and 4 weeks later it came back with a message of no service required but I still wanted it reconditioned and polished.

Tom took care of me and had it resent it out, 3 weeks later its back in my possession and looks brand new again.
The Asian lady who helped me when I picked it up since Tom was out was fantastic, very polite and courteous despite I was just there to pick up a serviced watch there was no lack of incredible attention and service.

I recommend checking into Goldart in the Glebe for beautiful, well-designed jewelry. I had a great experience with Mark, Helen and Johanna a couple of months ago, and made a purchase that I am very happy with. All the pieces on display are imagined and created in house. Every piece reflects the workmanship, experience and care that are the signature of this knowledgeable jeweller.

Had the opportunity to do visit the store because my wrist watch needed some adjustment, unfortunately after making lots of calls downtown I wasn’t able to get a walk in appointment, but Mark (the owner) was so amazing, he asked me to come in and he was able to adjust my watch and he ensured that i was satisfied with the outcome. The most surprising part was he wouldn’t take any payment. “It’s on the house”. 😀

i luv michael! he does great work everytime i see him, have gotten 4 rings reshaped as well as 2 resized. i will always return here! my only concern is that my emerald is now cracked and it was not before :((( i will return of course, not sure what happened this time and hope for at least a refund because of the emerald being broken.

Michael did a beautiful job restoring and resizing my mother's 50+ year old wedding rings! They looked brand new. He was he quick and friendly, and very fair in his pricing. Would definitely recommend supporting this local jeweller!

Michael worked his magic on my husband's wedding band that was lost on a construction site for a month. When his ring was found, it was chipped, scratched and badly damaged. Michael made my husband's ring look brand new. He did such a beautiful job repairing the ring. Michael also fixed my broken chain and cleaned two pendants that are 40 years old, now they look brand new again. Highly recommend Michael.

I have recently had my wife’s engagement ring fixed by Michael at Golden Hands Jewlery in Strathmore after the diamond was knocked out, apparently not a very hard hit but enough to break the arms off. This had happened once before and we’d taken it to the city to be repaired. After a week of having no time to run into the city, I thought that we must have someone in Strathmore, and fortunately I did a quick search and found Golden Hands Jewlery. Michael is an extremely qualified jewler/gemologist, the ring looks absolutely fantastic. He has set the diamond more securely than it was originally, he’s polished it immaculately, just a fantastic job. He took the time to explain his process before doing any work and had it back to me in short order. It is great to have someone in town that does such exceptional work and is a genuinely great person to meet with and have this work completed by. Thanks again Michael for your attention to detail and exceptional work. I will most certainly pay you a visit again for any work I need done!

I visited this kohinoor jewellery shop today with the intention of making a purchase, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The staff, particularly one of the attendants, was extremely rude and unhelpful. I asked to see a variety of designs, but she seemed uninterested and unwilling to assist properly.
It was clear that she lacked basic customer service skills and had no interest in helping me find what I was looking for. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially in a business where customer experience is so important. I left the store feeling disrespected and frustrated.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and trains their staff to treat customers with the respect and professionalism they deserve.👎👎👎👎

Great place to buy gold jewelries. The staff are welcoming and respectful. I have been buying gold here for 4+years now and it's been great. The 22k gold collection here is simply stunning - so beautiful and timeless. Their manager, Ruby, is always so friendly and very knowledgeable - she comes across as being so interested, not in the money but customer satisfaction. Siddhi is also very helpful and patient. There's another Indian slim middle aged lady there I don't remember her name but she's always smiling and very friendly. Nice place

This rating is for the girl behind the counter today. I didn't get her name but she had short black hair. I was there with my partner and toddler in her stroller. She wanted to see a stone so I handed her one and she placed it in her mouth. Before we even had a chance to parent our child (which we absolutely would have immediately taken it from her) the girl yelled at her to "get it out of her mouth" and we did to which she again scolded us to not put it back and then asked rudely "are you going to buy it now?" Which we said no and handed it to her. She could have taken a WAY different approach with us as we were planning on purchasing items and we visit there all the time. She could have easily spoken much kinder to us and there wouldn't have been an issue. Again, she was extremely rude and yelled at us and our toddler and we just ended up leaving. I hope she gets spoken with of how to speak to customers. What happened was unintentional on our part and would have dealt with it but her reaction was extremely uncalled for.

Large selection of stones and high quality silver. the store is loaded with neat finds. they also offer real crystal beads and real silver ones as well. all of their jewelry is sterling silver 925. the staff is mostly friendly and helpful.

the only thing I would note is that the store is small and quite tight fit and might not be suitable for those in a wheel chair.

Fantastic experience purchasing a new watch. I was not looking to purchase anything the day of my visit. I was just "talking watches" when I asked if they ever received a particular model of a Tudor watch I was interested in. The very helpful sales associate let me know they had one in the back and asked if I would like to try it on. 20 mins later I had purchased a new watch and I couldn't be happier. She was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, answering all my questions. Her genuine desire to assist made the entire visit enjoyable and stress-free.

Came in for a urgent request to readjust my watch bracelet and Elaine was not just accommodating but warm and welcoming! She took care of it right away! Would definitely consider purchasing from the store, just from the way the staff took care of me!!

I've had several great experiences at Birks Montreal, and now at the Rolex boutique at Birks. Let's be honest and realistic, Rolex ADs have a hard task. Rolex are the most in demand watches out there, and it's hard to sell something that you can't keep in stock! That said, I'd like to thank Irina, Joel and the whole team over there for the wonderful experience as I purchased a Rolex. At no time did I feel like they weren't giving me the time of day, I was able to try on several watches to get a feel for what I wanted (it helps to go during a quiet time of day and not the weekend). And finally now, the day has come and I "got the call" as they say, and my watch is here after a very reasonable (and short!) wait. I've also had my wife's watch serviced with Rolex through the Birks service team, and they were also excellent and made the experience easy. Laurie (manager) provided excellent customer service to me when I realized that one of the watches I purchased through the online store had a manufacturer issue on the inside of the glass dial. Even though the bracelet was already adjusted with some of the links removed, Laurie was willing to help me and provided excellent customer service by processing a refund and telling me which locations in Calgary had the same watch in stock as I needed to gift the watch and didn't have time to wait for the store to get a re-stock. Laurie also provided a clasp adjustment for me, free of charge, for a watch that I got elsewhere as a way of providing exceptional customer service for me during my visit to get a refund for the watch I got online. One of her colleagues was also very professional and provided excellent customer service to me with a 2nd watch that I bought. The other 2 staff members that I interacted with the 3x that I've been here were also very kind and professional, and made me feel that they valued me as a customer, which has been very different from the experience I had from one of their competitors across from them in the mall (Ben Moss). I realized that the staff here treat younger customers very well, even if they don't "dress in a certain (professional)way", as a teen couple came in to inquire about getting an accessory fixed, and the associate treated them like any other customer, which speaks volumes about the staff here! I highly recommend this location, Laurie, and her team to anyone looking for a non-judgmental and excellent customer experience while inquiring and/or purchasing watches (and adjustments) jewelry, and accessories.

Very disappointed with my experience at this jewelry store. My partner bought me an expensive chain from here in December 2024. After less than a year of occasional wear, one of the links broke. Since he didn’t purchase the extended warranty, I brought it back to the same store (Chinook location) and paid $80 to have it repaired. Unfortunately, the chain broke again in the exact same spot after just two months. Wanting to give it another chance, I paid for another repair - only for it to break again within two weeks, despite me being extremely careful with it. When I went back to the store to express my frustration, I was told there was “nothing they could do” and that someone should have offered me a warranty after the first repair. However, I distinctly remember being told at that time that I couldn't add a warranty since it wasn’t purchased with the original sale.

At this point, I’ve spent $160 on repairs for a faulty chain that was clearly not properly fixed, and now I'm being told I'd have to pay another $80 just to be eligible for a warranty moving forward. Extremely disappointed in both the product quality and the inconsistent information from staff. I expected much better from a store selling high-end jewelry.

This place is the most wonderful jeweller in town! Nancy Nasrallah helped me with my 6 month cleaning and she was so helpful. She treat me with so much respect and she took the time to talk to me like if I was part of the family. I recommend this place at 100%!

Please go here instead of Yorkdale. Went to exchange a necklace at Yorkdale and they brushed me off and said they can’t don’t do it even tho I got it a week ago. Came to this location and they were very understanding and was very helpful with the exchanging. Laura was amazing and very helpful!

My partner and I visited Ben Moss while casually looking for wedding rings, and we ended up having the best experience with Marsha. She was incredibly knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, and made us feel comfortable the entire time. While I fell in love with a ring right there in the store, our experience with Marsha made us completely seal the deal and we stopped looking elsewhere and came back the following week to purchase it!

Came in to get a chain fixed and two attendants seemed very experienced, gave me confidence they knew what they were talking about. They quoted me $40 for a chain to be fixed which is pretty fair and less expensive than People's Diamonds or other stores for chain fix. Will update review when I receive the item back.

Patti has a very pleasant personality and gets you whatever you need. Francis and Lona helped me with my cash for gold program. Even when it got a bit detailed. Patti was there to help put it back on track. This Ben Moss team, is awesome. And I am sure the other members are also. They certainly have big smiles and greet you warmly when you enter. I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Ben Moss. I entrusted them with my engagement ring and wedding band, and was told I would receive them back within 10 days. It has now been 16 days, and I only heard from them after I reached out on day 15 to ask what happened.

Shockingly, they told me they weren’t even sure if I had coverage — something they should have clarified before taking my rings. This lack of communication and organization is unacceptable, especially when it involves sentimental items like wedding jewelry. I expected better professionalism and transparency from a company in this industry.

Nick was instrumental in helping find exactly what I wanted. I had been looking for a pair of yellow gold channeled stud earrings for a couple years and his suggestion to purchase two single studs ended up saving me money and giving exactly what I had been looking for. I love them!!!

I had the best experience with Michael Hill. Customer service is incredible. The staff are very kind and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone that are looking for jewelry.

Terrible customer service. The only kind and smart person here is Debbie. Everyone else is rude and unhelpful. I had to come back into the store multiple times for their mess ups, forgot my keys in the store at 5pm on Sunday when they close because they had me in until 5:10 arguing about receipts, (yes, their staff were yelling and throwing their hands in the air, I have it all on video) I went back to get my keys and the store was locked up and they had my keys behind the counter, no care in the world to call me to let me know even though they have my number on file! Anyhow, I won’t be returning to this location until they get new staff. Beware, if ur having a bad day, don’t come here your day will turn 10% worse.

More for the designers and workmanship than the staff.. . The staff were friendly and helpful. The design, cheap backings on the .50 TW CT diamond stud earrings which are already at a hefty cost. Gifted on dec 29 2024 and one of the cheap backings came off and one of the earrings lost jan 7 2025. For the cost of these earring there really should be better backings, now we’re at a loss and devastated over the loss, 10 days.

I went to the Michael Hill location at Place D’Orleans the other day to get my engagement ring fixed and my husband’s and I’s wedding bands cleaned and had an exceptional service! We were greeted by Bayan who is super friendly and gave us a great customer service experience.

Their manager Nick was also very knowledgeable and fixed my engagement ring on the spot which, I was very satisfied with. His exceptional knowledge and step by step process made me feel at ease. Again, he went above and beyond and we couldn’t be happier.

Don't bother purchasing the 'Lifetime' Warranty - they simply won't honour it if your set has persistent issues.

I purchased a wedding band from Moissy Ottawa believing I was investing in a high-quality piece backed by a lifetime warranty. Within the first year, stones began falling out, and I’ve had to send the ring in multiple times for repairs. I followed all their care recommendations, including purchasing an additional plain band to wear between my engagement ring and wedding band to reduce wear—but the problems continued.

What’s most frustrating is the company’s refusal to take meaningful responsibility. Instead of acknowledging a potential design flaw or honoring the full extent of the warranty I paid extra for, they’ve chosen to blame me—specifically, how I wear my rings. I wear them exactly as any customer would: daily, with care. At no point during the purchase was I warned that stacking could cause premature damage, nor was I told that soldering the rings together (which they now claim is the only solution) would be necessary. If I had been informed, I could have made a different decision and chosen a more durable style.

I brought the ring in for its fourth stone replacement in March. Less than 60 days later, another stone fell out—clearly pointing to an ongoing quality issue. But instead of honoring the warranty, the team shifted the blame again, stating that an “inspection” had determined the damage wasn’t due to a manufacturing defect. This supposed inspection was never mentioned when I picked the ring up, and now—conveniently—it’s being used as a reason to deny coverage, with no documentation provided to support it.

Their offer? A refund of the warranty. As if that helps when the next stone inevitably falls out, leaving me with a ring that’s both damaged and unwearable. This is a ring that holds deep personal meaning, and now I’ll likely need to purchase a new band elsewhere—one that may not pair well with my engagement ring.

What’s even more disappointing is the complete lack of effort to find a solution. No one offered to meet with me, review alternative band styles, or explore other options that might be more compatible. It feels like they simply got tired of fulfilling their warranty obligations and chose to walk away rather than stand behind their product.

At this point, the $20 Amazon dupe I wear while my actual ring is out for repair has proven more reliable than the original. I strongly urge anyone considering a purchase from this company to proceed with caution—or at least be prepared to pay out-of-pocket when the stones start falling out and the warranty you paid for is no longer honored.

I expected better. At the very least, I expected professionalism, transparency, and a willingness to work with a customer in good faith. Sadly, this experience has made it painfully clear how little Moissy Ottawa values its customers once the sale is complete.

Love this beautiful shop. I stopped in to get a bracelet for my daughter for her birthday. We ended up with an anklet. My girl plays volleyball and has to remove jewelry so the anklet was perfect. The associate was friendly and kept us laughing during the process.

I can now say I’ve been to all the Moissy Fine Jewellery locations and they’ve never missed. The service is consistent, the selection is always impressive and the quality speaks for itself. If you’re still on the fence, visit one of their locations and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

I am very disappointed with the customer service at Peoples Jewelers. What should have been a joyful and celebratory experience with my engagement and wedding bands has instead been frustrating and disheartening from the start.

My first repair (diamond/claw issue) left me without my ring for almost two months, with no follow-up or communication. When I came in to check, I was talked down to and made to feel unheard. Every visit since has been negative—staff are unhelpful, unfriendly, and dismissive.

Most recently, my husband and I went to pick up my rings and were ignored completely. The associate sat with another customer trying on rings and posing in the mirror while we waited. Another associate even walked past us as she was leaving for the night and didn’t bother to acknowledge us or let us know someone would be with us soon. To make matters worse, I was asked to leave a Google review after this experience—something I found very inappropriate.

It’s especially disappointing because my first visit to Peoples was wonderful—warm, welcoming, and helpful. That level of service is what convinced my husband to purchase from Peoples in the first place. Sadly, every interaction since then has been the opposite.

My family has a long history of buying jewelry as part of our traditions, and I had hoped to continue that with Peoples. But at this point, I do not feel valued, cared for, or even acknowledged when I visit their stores. Until the customer experience improves, I cannot recommend Peoples Jewelers.

I was getting promise rings for my boyfriend and I. I didn’t have my wallet so no ID or proper card. I know dumb of me. Sue me I’m young and never did this before. However the service was very rude and not helpful. Was told I had to possibly wait 12-16 weeks for a ring in my bf’s size. Found a workaround and a different ring. However I was still told I would have to wait for cleaning because it was scuffed.

This whole experience was far too intense and intricate. I understand my bf and I are awkward people. Found out we had to work through several loopholes and decided to cancel the transaction. However the lady that was working with us pushed it further, convinced me it would work to pay in 200 tap transactions. When that didn’t work I asked about refunding the money and canceling the transaction. But nope. I couldn’t be refunded my money. So now here I am with my ring. Bf doesn’t have his ring because of cleaning even though we tried to work around doing that. This experience was immensely frustrating and pointless. I have my ring but frankly I feel like it was a waste of time and money and overall caused nothing but distress. As well as the lady working with us kept on whispering to her coworkers. Unprofessionally and also pressured myself away from my partner into a transaction. I will not be going here again. Even if the rings break.

My bracelet broke, but they offer a repair service, and it will be fixed in 3 weeks. They also polish and clean jewelry and necklaces free of charge. The store has everything—from jewelry to plates and cups, perfume, as well as gifts for babies and children! It’s a beautiful shop with helpful employees.

A very fun and special stop during my Montreal trip. This is a smaller store, but they do have a decent selection of their classics and trending jewelry pieces, along with some home goods and perfumes. Margo was an exceptionally friendly and helpful SA. She helped us check out a few pieces while sharing a bit about the city, and made our shopping experience simply amazing!

Refuse to repair defective item until I signed something saying I would never go back in the shop lovely. Absolutely refuse to buy anything there ever again. If you need consumer protection, Quebec to help you deal with a shop it’s not a great shop.

The employees in this store really seem like they don’t want to give particularly people the time of day. I walked into the store and half of them were on the phone and didn’t greet me. Then when someone did help me they seem disgusted that I ask if they had and silver necklaces on display. They showed me one floor model that they kept under the desk and it was completely tarnished. Who would spend over 400$ on a necklace when a store doesn’t even clean their lower priced item. This store definitely gives off a you are too poor to shop here vibe and it was truly sad. I walked 5 mins down the street to the Tiffany at holt and received much better service there 🤷🏻‍♀️
