I sold some gold today and it was a great experience! The price of gold has gone up so instead of having your gold lying around in your jewelry box, turn it into cash! Crazy Johnnie has an expensive x-ray machine that quickly analyzes the metals contained in your jewelry, and an adjoining scale to weigh it. It’s all computerized to show you exactly what it’s worth. Johnnie has been in the business for years and he is very knowledgeable. And if you want to buy a diamond for that special occasion, this is the place to go to get a great price!

There are no words to explain how impressed we are with our experience at Creation by Paul H. After searching through several jewelry stores in our local city, we decided to make the drive to Montreal. I wanted something different and eye catching and felt that other stores had the same type of selections. Paul greeted us with a smile and a heart full of passion, just waiting to make us happy. While doing a resizing job, the stone on my ring was tarnished and darkened in color through the process. The pendant on the right of the photo is the original stone and looked the same like on my ring. The ring on the left is the aftermath where it simply lost its transparency and how it reflects the light through the heating process while resizing. Disappointed with this outcome, and unfortunately no repair or compensation was provided.

Although it took me a month to finally reach someone at Diamond Queen.. it was well worth the wait. Sav helped me through the whole process. She took her time to educate me as well as give me recommendations. Diamond Queen was able to get me the ring weeks in advance before my requested deadline. My fiancé was very ecstatic when she saw the ring.
All in all, I would highly recommend Diamond Queen Toronto.
We will be definitely coming back to purchase our wedding bands.

I worked with Diamond Queen Toronto (DQT) by White Carat earlier in 2023 as I begun my journey to inquire about engagement rings.

Amber who is a sales representative at DQT was extremely informative and provided on going education based on her knowledge and experience in this industry. Amber responses and clarification to my questions based on my research made my final decision, selection and process easy to purchase from DQT. I was able to get an engraving completed the way I envisioned as it was sentimental to my fiancée and I.

I was able to propose to my fiancée in March 2024 and she was extremely happy. However , I had to get my fiancée’s ring resized slightly but DQT definitely took care of that minor change. The waiting time for return was 2-3 weeks but nearer to 3 weeks.

In Amber’s absence her colleagues were helpful and supportive in ensuring that my questions were answered.

I recommend DQT if anyone is looking for exceptional customer service , a company that listens and works within your budget ,
a company that does not compromise the
workmanship, the elegancy and qualify of your product visit DQT.

My fiancé and I visited Sav in March to get sized and look at engagement rings. Sav took her time to educate us on diamond characteristics and carats. The Moissy team did a fantastic job with the engagement ring that we ordered a few years ago. Since then, we've gotten 2 more rings to celebrate our wedding, and they've all been of excellent quality. Colleen and her team always offer exceptional customer service, and we will undoubtedly return in the near future.

Quite expensive for a moissanite, but quality of the ring was actually pretty good. 3 months for resizing is definitely not enough considering that planning engagement takes time and rings are ordered far in advance. What made me really frustrated is when I wanted to recycle a “paper” ring box, turned out it’s a black plastic box taped over with paper (black plastic is not recycled anywhere in the GTA). Why pretend like you care about sustainability?

The team at Moissy did an amazing job on my engagement ring and my husband’s wedding band. Since moissanite has become more popular recently, it’s been hard to find jewellers who know what they’re talking about and have experience working with the stone. Walking into the store was a totally different experience than other places where we’d browsed for engagement rings. I found a unique design that I fell in love with, and the team made it easy to customize it to get it to fit in our budget. The ring and the lifetime warranty was reasonably priced and we haven’t had any issues with the manufacturing almost two years later.

I went to Bijouterie Panthère with my broken bracelet, and they repaired it on the spot for a great price. They even cleaned it in an ultrasonic machine, and it came out looking brand new. The service was professional, friendly, and very clean—I highly recommend them. Five stars!

I had absolutely AMAZING service today and actually everytime I have gone into this store. Zainab is wonderful.

Very disappointed in the service provided to me today. I went in looking to get my ring inspected as it looks like there is a fracture in the main diamond. The employee quickly brushed me off by saying it was just dirty. I tried to explain the issue looked to be inside the Diamond. She puts it under the microscope and continues to deny any issue although a large opaque spot is very visible. I point this out to her and she again says it’s just dirty and proceeds to clean it. She put its back under the microscope and says the mark is “gone” however it is just easier to see. She tells me this is a “birth mark” and there is nothing she can do. However we have paid for the warranty and have had this ring for weeks now and never noticed the mark until today. Instead of using the warranty she asks asks me if I want to buy something else and is pushing a sale on me for more money. I walked away very disappointed and feeling like I am now stuck with a broken Diamond, even though we paid for the $375 warranty.

I brought my engagement ring here after they were recommended to me by some friends. I have a custom made ring that had a claw that snagged and when I brought it here they were very attentive and helpful. The claws had to be replaced so they fixed it right up, polished it beautifully and when I came to pick up my ring I was flabbergasted at how beautiful it looked. They did such an amazing job at polishing and cleaning my ring that it looked better than the first day I saw it. Their pricing is fantastic as well. I went to them yesterday to sell my gold ring, at first the employee after examining it told me that it is not gold, then the owner of the store came and told her that it is 22 carat gold. The funny thing is that he gave me the worst possible price for buying gold and told me in a bad way that the one who sold me the gold made $200 from me more than two years ago and he wants to remove them. I advise you not to deal with them, they are not credible. I went to Canada Gold Montreal and they gave me double the price even though they will melt the gold.

Disappointed and Frustrated – Wrong Ring Size and Poor Service

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. I trusted this store to measure my finger size correctly for my wedding ring, which is such an important and meaningful purchase. When I finally received the ring, it fit so hard– it doesn’t go over my knuckle!

I called to resolve the issue, only to be told that I would need to pay extra to resize it because my purchase “doesn’t include the warranty.” This is outrageous, especially since the employee I dealt with clearly told me the warranty was included.

Why should I have to pay more for a mistake that wasn’t mine? I expected better service, especially for something as personal and emotional as a wedding ring. I feel let down and taken advantage of. Definitely not the experience I hoped for, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Melinda and Olivia were so phenomenal at charm, when I walked in they treated me with kindness respect and were literally my personal hype ladies. At the end of the day I'm not sure if my partner ended up going with the ring from this place as the final decision was his. I would 100% give this business and these ladies my business over and over again. If you want professionalism, a great deal and quality go to charm and deal with these two ladies. Already recommending them to everyone!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Charm Jewellers in Market Mall, especially Morgan, the store manager. After 7 years of wearing my wedding ring every single day, it started to show some major signs of wear and tear. I’ve had issues with my rings before, but this was the FIRST time I felt like someone genuinely cared about helping me.

Poor quality and terrible service!
I bought a ring just 2 years ago and already one of the stones has fallen out. When I went back to get it repaired, I was told there’s a lifetime diamond guarantee—but then the lady said mine was void because I didn’t come in for inspections every 6 months. How would I know this?? When I purchased the ring, nobody explained that missing these inspections would cancel the guarantee. The card was simply slipped into a folder with receipts, without highlighting its importance.

I asked if there was anything they could do, but the lady just repeated that nothing could be done and that I’d have to pay for the repair. Absolutely unacceptable. I have jewelries that have been with me for over 25 years without a single issue, yet this ring started losing diamonds in just 2 years.

Never again will I buy from this store. Poor product quality and zero customer care.

Our recent visit to People’s Jewellers in Southcentre was truly exceptional. After visiting several shops while searching for new wedding bands, People’s was our final and most memorable stop.

We were warmly welcomed by Karen, whose positive energy immediately made us feel at ease. She took the time to understand what we were looking for and guided us through the beautiful selection of gold bands. We quickly found a set we loved, and during the fitting process, Karen carefully advised on resizing options to ensure a perfect fit.

She also provided information about the optional insurance coverage without any pressure, allowing us to make decisions comfortably at our own pace. While trying on different rings for sizing, I happened to fall in love with an additional band—and thanks to my husband’s thoughtful gesture, we ended up purchasing three rings: a pair of wedding bands and an anniversary band for me!

Disgusting is how I would describe my latest interaction with this store! If I could give a negative store value it would be -5 stars! The service was horrible. I took my pendant (purchased from Peoples) in to get a new bail, it took almost a month to get back and when I did, it had a hole in it, the jeweler had gouged my pendant, sent it back to the store, called me for a pick up and this is what I got back! NOBODY even looked it over before calling me to say, "it's all fixed." Big fat lie!!!

When I brought it back they said they would fix it, it took another month to get it back and they had done a terrible repair job, my beautiful pendant will never be the same since they got their incompetent hands on it. The jeweler took no responsibility for damaging it nor fixing it well, in fact blamed me for it happening and saying they can't add gold to piece of jewelry regardless if they were the ones to remove the gold by piercing the pendant. The store manager said to call customer care and see what they could do. I did this, it took them almost a week to get back to me, when they did they said they would get back to me again, it it took them over a week to do that. They said I could bring it back to them and they would try to repair their crappy repair...seriously???? Yesterday I decided I was done with their run arounds and asked for a refund. You will never guess what they said!!!! They said it's been over 30 days and they can't give me a refund! Give me a break! Thieves and liars!

Went in to get my fiancées wedding ring. We had the pleasure of being helped by Sarah. She was super friendly and bubbly and even remembered us from when we were looking at engagement rings almost a full year prior. She was fantastic and I would recommend everyone to go see her! I went for my ring inspection and Syeda helped me to do it. She mentioned that I should come every 6 months for the inspection. My last inspection was more than 6 months ago and I didn’t know why she kept emphasizing the importance of the in time inspection. Then she explained something I that swear never heard when I bought it. She said we have to come every 6 months for the diamond inspection to make sure no diamonds missing. Otherwise if something happens, we need to pay for the repair. I was so glad that I met Syeda today and will for sure recommend people to go shop here. She cares about customers and very responsible for the job.

I just bought the most amazing ring at people’s thanks to Irene! It was exactly what I was looking for. My fiance will adore it. Honestly there is no point to go anywhere else other than people’s tanger and Irene. She was spectacular and beyond sweet and kind. Whether it was an engagement, anniversary, birthday, or a just-because moment, Nivine has been there to guide us with warmth, care, and incredible expertise. She always takes the time to understand what we’re looking for and makes every experience feel personal and special. Her honesty, attention to detail, and genuine kindness make her an absolute joy to work with. My mother in law Krystle gives a special thanks as well. Spence Diamonds is a mixed bag and I’d rate it around three stars after visiting. There are definitely some positives, but quite a few drawbacks too.

The best part about Spence Diamonds is the huge selection and the open display cases. It’s really convenient to walk in and try on a variety of rings without having to wait for a salesperson to unlock cases or hover over you. If you’re just browsing or trying to get a sense of styles, it’s a low-pressure environment that makes it easy to explore what you like.

However, the staff knowledge is pretty disappointing. The people working there didn’t seem to have much understanding of the product, couldn’t answer basic questions about materials or diamond quality, and overall didn’t seem very engaged. It comes across like high turnover and minimal training, which probably ties back to how well (or poorly) they’re compensated.

The pricing is another downside—many of the rings are noticeably more expensive than online competitors, especially when you consider the limited knowledge and service offered in-store.

At best, Spence is a good place to browse styles in person before purchasing elsewhere. And the endless commercials don’t help the experience either.

My partner and I went to Spence early august to browse rings. We walked into the Spence store and were greeted by the sweetest staff, we informed them we were looking at engagement rings and we were given a board to place our ring choices on. I wish I had a photo, it was so much fun walking into the open showcase! I genuinely felt like a kid in a candy store looking around, trying on prototype rings, and picking what I like. Ultimately we chose Style 71840.

After picking our style, we were sat down and got a PowerPoint (yes! A whole PowerPoint!) about how their diamonds are created and what the 4 C’s are. After, we got to see a Diamond based off our preferences and budget under a microscope! And we settled on a Diamond. The whole process was super fun and felt very inclusive.

My partner was informed the ring was ready and secretly picked up the ring around 2 weeks later, EXACTLY two weeks later, just like we were told. It came with a Diamond certificate, an information packet, and an appraisal for insurance.

My partner proposed, the most magical moment of my life, and the ring is so much more beautiful than I remember. The specs of my ring are (again) Style 71840 in white gold with a 0.79ct artisan created Diamond, it’s the most beautiful ring I’ve ever seen and worn.

Spence offered routine maintenance for the ring (every year), and will replace a Diamond if lost.

Overall I’m so happy and so glad we went with Spence. We will probably go back for my wedding bands!

I remember visiting the Spence diamond in the Rideau center when it first opened and found the experience to be unique where you can try out rings of all styles, shapes and sizes. So I came to the College Square location on a whim as my partner wanted to know exactly what cut I preferred. Being able to go in and try all the variety of cuts and carats was super helpful.

I was greeted immediately and shown the rings based on carat size first so I could determine the size of carat we wanted to design. Then they told me to have a browse and to let them know if I had questions. My sales lady then disappeared to attend to a client in one of the rooms who came in. As I browsed the colored diamonds section another sales person told me that they could do any color diamond with intrigued me as I was looking for a purple stone. Later I find out that getting a purple diamond was near impossible for them to locate but they could do the typical blue, yellow, green etc. so this was a bit disappointing.

There are numerous styles to try on so being able to take your time and browse was great. In the end we narrowed down two styles but without the possibility of the purple diamond in the specific shade we wanted, we decided to custom with a jewelry in New York.

I would say this is a great place to start browsing if you are looking for an easy piece and aren’t looking to customize the ring from scratch. Salespeople knowledge are a bit of a hit or miss

I’ve always loved this spot, they have amazing jewelry and a great selection. However, I’ve recently stopped coming here because of the young Asian woman who works there. She’s constantly pushing for upgrades to more expensive chains and follows you around the store as if you’re doing something wrong, even though I’ve been a loyal customer for years.

I understand the store has been robbed before and that security is important, but with their strong security system already in place, being followed so closely feels unnecessary and frankly uncomfortable. I came here to shop and enjoy the experience, not to feel harassed or pressured into spending more. Unfortunately, until this behavior changes, I won’t be returning.
