I’ve known Nutty Saffron for about a year now. I first discovered them while looking for a bakery that could create a beautiful, delicious cake for my wedding, one of the most important and special days in any couple’s life! A friend recommended Nutty Saffron, and after reaching out, I received an immediate and warm response filled with helpful suggestions and creative ideas.

From the start, she treated me with the care and attention of a loving friend, almost like how a mom would guide you. Her recommendations were thoughtful and personalized, and we ended up deciding on a stunning design. The result was exactly what I had hoped for and the taste? Absolutely heavenly! Everyone at our wedding loved it.

On top of that, she personally delivered the cake to our venue and set it up beautifully; one less thing for us to worry about on our big day. That level of care and professionalism meant so much.

A few weeks later, my husband surprised me by ordering another cake from Nutty Saffron for my birthday, which made the day even more special. And just last weekend, I ordered again; this time for my 30th birthday! Let me tell you: the design was 10/10, and the taste was an unbelievable 200/10! 😍

We served the cake after dinner, when most guests were already full, and still, not a single slice was left! Everyone went back for seconds. That’s how good it was.

We travel from red deer just for cakes and other Persian sweets from here and it never disappoints. Delish desserts , amazing service and beautiful decorations. One of kind in Calgary !

The staff here are very unprofessional. I went to desk 8 at 11:20am and the woman working there was extremely rude and dismissive. She clearly lacked proper customer service skills and seemed untrained to handle basic interactions. This level of service is unacceptable for a registry that people rely on for important matters.

I don’t understand why they moved to a bigger location when all the desks are empty and there’s only one staff member available. It’s already 9:50, and I received the message at 9:24. Meanwhile, 10 of us are still wai

Took my class 5 road test yesterday at 4pm and my examiner was very nice and supportive. He was a huge help in calming my nerves and passed me on the first try here. I’ve seen mixed reviews about the road test here but I only had good experiences. I believe the examiners name was Daljeet.

Had both my knowledge test and road test here. This registry is amazing with their checkin system.

Rene (hope I don’t spell your name wrong) is very professional, gave clear instructions. I enjoy the ride even had a bad luck meeting massive traffic and failed to change lanes before turning. You still can’t exceed speed limit when having road test while others are hitting their gas panel hard.
We changed the route into another community and get back to the original route after a while.

Don’t freak out when you failed to change to the lane you have to go. Shows your professional on controlling the car and your safety driving mind set. That’s a lot more importantly than how fast or how sharp you could push yourself into lanes.

Tips:
*This registry may be different from some of the other registries. Heard some other registry will told you when to change lane. Rene told me where to go, and I could decide when to change lanes.
* If you have concerns about the unreasonable speed limit sign at the registry area, please ask your examiner before you start driving.*

I recently took my road test here and had a very disappointing experience. I was failed for parking too far from the curb — when I politely asked if I could correct my positioning, my request was declined. I was also marked with a traffic violation for making a right turn on red, even though I came to a complete stop, checked carefully for pedestrians and vehicles, and turned only when it was safe. Turning right on red is legally permitted, so this decision was unfair.

On top of that, this registry charges $181 for the road test, while other registries only charge $165. It feels like they are more focused on making money than giving fair assessments. Failing candidates for questionable reasons and charging higher fees does not reflect well on their integrity.

I would strongly recommend looking into other registries that are more reasonable and fair.

This is not my first time purchasing fine clothes from O’Connors. I continue to return because of their excellent selection, outstanding expertise and true attention to detail. I was able to work with Christopher Dovey to find two suit pants, two shirts, a jacket, a tie, pair of socks and a belt that was exactly to my liking. He made me feel very comfortable and nothing felt rushed. I am a very particular person with exacting standards so it’s not always easy to make me happy. I was sized up and returned days later to something that fit me down to the millimetre. Colour me impressed! This sort of precision is rarely found in clothing stores nowadays and I left, once again, thoroughly happy. This is what you can expect when you shop at O’Connors. Thank you Chris for taking such wonderful care of me. It shows that you love your work and enjoy meeting all of your customers needs. I will see you again soon.

I had the misfortune of trying to buy a suit from O’connors. I recently went in to buy a suit of an upcoming wedding, we parked in the O’connors lot and were going across the street to get a coffee prior to shopping. We were rudely yelled at by an employee who was disrespectfully telling us we had to leave the parking lot. When I tried to explain to the employee that we were simply getting a cup of coffee before we came into shop, I was impolitely warned that my car would be towed by the city and that I would not be welcomed at the store. It is my belief that it was my older and worn down vehicle and casual attire that I was disrespectfully steered away from shopping at this store, I couldn’t help but to feel judged by the chubby man bombarding me for simply trying to buy nice suit for my cousins wedding. Very disappointing stuff by a store who claims to be extremely welcoming and classy.

I feel very fortunate to have had the privilege of getting my court attire here, including a gown, waistcoat, 2 shirts, tabs, and pants. The associate, Wyatt, was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed. He was incredibly nice and attentive, and along with the rest of the team gave me one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. They treated me with dignity and respect despite honestly being dressed sloppily both times I came in. I feel the quality of the materials sold is excellent and should last me a significant period of time. They provided me with a generous gift to celebrate a significant life event which was deeply appreciated. I will recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent quality clothing at an unparalleled level of service.

Absolutely the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had. The suits here look like they’ve been pulled straight out of a high school drama department’s costume closet—cheap fabric, crooked stitching, and somehow already wrinkled on the hanger. The staff couldn’t care less about helping; they either hovered like vultures or ignored me completely, no in-between. When I finally tried something on, the jacket sleeves were two different lengths, and the pants fit like clown trousers. I asked if they could tailor it, and they told me “that’s just the style.”

The cherry on top? Outrageous prices for what can only be described as discount-bin quality. Save yourself the time, money, and embarrassment—go literally anywhere else if you want a suit that doesn’t look like it came free with a Halloween mask.

Popped in earlier this year while in Calgary for business. Incredible customer service and fantastic selection. Left with Rancourt loafers, as well as the iconic Barbour Beaufort to match my father’s— items well worn since my visit. Will make O’Connors a mandatory stop on visits.

Occasional Notes was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding day. Right from the beginning, they were excellent with communication, and provided their expertise in ensuring the ceremony would run smoothly. Not only did they help us pick beautiful songs that fit us as a couple, but they were also able to learn a song we requested! Barb & Laurie are undoubtedly talented in what they do, extremely friendly and such a joy to work with - we can't thank you ladies enough!

All of the guests were completely surprised when the performance began...they were especially happy when they learned one of the "servers" was an entertainer as they had guests believing he was going get fired due to his poor service throughout cocktail hour and dinner..It was absolutely hilarious!
This show is a great mix of comedy, singing, dancing, and is appealing to all types of crowds and ages.

We just hosted a teacher appreciation lunch at our school and Office Gourmet absolutely hit it out of the park! The school has used this company in the past but I have not, so this was my first experience.

The customer service from Mark was top-notch! He is SO patient, helpful and easy to work with. We had a number of dietary restrictions and he had solutions to accommodate them all!

Now the food…. Was FANTASTIC! Every staff member raved about how delicious it was! I even snuck a few bites and agreed! The dietary restrictions were separated and labeled so it was so easy and clear! They delivered the food on time, set it all up, with EVERYTHING you need - tongs, plates, cutlery, napkins! To say I was impressed is an understatement! Highly highly recommend!

I ordered food for my son’s birthday, and everything was absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. They really catered to our needs, and the birthday cake was to die for! Best of all, the price was half of what other places charge. Thank you for making my son’s birthday so wonderfully unforgettable!

If you are looking for a very responsive, kind, professional caterer, Office gourmet is it! Very straight forward, easy to navigate website with clear descriptions & simple process. Lunch was a hit & so well presented. The service was amazing.

5 Star food was delivered, 5 star service in helping coordinate selections and dietarian requests. This is the third time we ordered lunch for training sessions. Very coinvent to have this delivery to our customers site just ahead of our presentations. We just show up and everything is taken care of nothing to set up or worry about.
Great site for ordering, with lots of meal types and choices for all.

Previously, we purchased multiple dresses from Oksana – Cross Iron Location. Unfortunately, that location closed down. My sisters were in from out of province and we all wanted to purchase dresses (at least 4) for an upcoming wedding. We attended the Sunridge Location, only to realize that it was only open by appointment. Access was restricted. When we saw an employee, we were told to book an appointment and come back – even though the store was clearly empty. How can a store in a mall effectively close, while the mall is open? We used to be loyal Oksana clients. We won’t be returning. Good luck.

Is the worst experience, we wanted to go and check 2 dresses for my daughter and the lady at the entrance didn't let us go inside, kind of rude when she said a couple people just stole a dress, so what she was telling us...that we looks like a robbers??.. they can buy antitheft devices if they are so worried, but how they treat customers is unacceptable. They have to add in the store info that the store is closed and just open for appointment. If they want to keep losing clients, keep going with the worst service ever.

Rude customer service. You cannot exchange the gowns too even if you bought same day.

I don’t know how to reply. I bought 2 gowns for my daughter’s 1st birthday i went twice in the store same week after i bought. The price tag still there.

My daughter had the best experience purchasing her prom dress. Oksana recommended a dress that she fell in love with and we ordered it right away❤️

Workers were very rude, my daughter was really looking forward to this experience and did a lot of research on prom dress shops in Calgary, workers were rushing us and extremely unhelpful regarding dress sizes. My daughter was very overwhelmed and stressed by their pushy behaviour and was near tears. Would not suggest to anyone wish specific needs in sizing or if you want an enjoyable shopping experience.

Really cute shop with some of the most delightful baked goods. I placed an order for custom sunflower cupcakes for my wedding reception in September and they were beyond stunning. Remi looked at my inspo pictures and delivered more than I was expecting. A variety of flavors and fillings and the buttercream designs were incredible. We also ordered mini cookie butter cheesecakes which were probably some of the best I’ve ever had and many rave reviews from our guests

The focaccia is also an exceptional item on the menu. There’s lots to choose from and a good variety of Savory and sweet.

The quality of work worth the price point in my opinion.

I went in to ask about a red velvet cake for our son's birthday the day before. I explained how no one makes red velvet cake anymore and my son loves red velvet cheesecake which I could not afford this year. She said she had a ten inch available. She told me how much it would be so I paid for it. Imagine my surprise when we picked it up and it was so heavy. We sliced into it at his party to discover she listened and made the red velvet cheesecake. WOW was I impressed. It was not only sublime but not sweet. She completely nailed it! Everyone we've had something from this bakery has not failed to impress. We love this bakery. She knows how to listen to her clients and we will continue to go back time and time again! We’re so so so happy with the cake. The cake wasn’t too sweet and the dulce de leche flavour was a hit. I would highly recommend Ola Luna as the service and response was so fast and you could tell how much love and effort went into the cake. Get your custom cakes from here!

Impressive variety, nicely presented, flakey, and tasty. Very limited seating (I.e. 2 inside, and 4 chairs outside), definitely more of a take out place. Very happy to discover this place, and looking forward to trying more.

Christie was a wonderful planner, she helped us plan our small, intimate, 1920s themed wedding so that it was exactly what I invusioned. Mafe our day easy and special and as stress feee as a wedding can be.

I borrowed some beautiful wedding items from old, new, borrowed & blue rentals in March this year. All of the rental items were well-maintained to such a high standard. I really loved that there were a wide variety of rental items to choose from. The archway, in particular, made for some fabulous photos and we got many positive comments on both it and the copper arch (used for a polaroid photobooth).
The process was SO easy! The location of Lori's house was really easy to find, and she was very flexible with returning and picking up items. Thank you so much!

I rented several items from Lori for my wedding in May and I’m so glad I found her website! She was super helpful while I added and removed items from my list as the wedding got closer. The yard games we rented were very popular and it was all affordable. Would certainly recommend to anyone planning a wedding or party in the Calgary area.

Lori is great! She was so helpful on the day, her products are lovely and you can't beat her prices. She does 5 day rentals which was great! I'm going to be keeping her in mind for any party I have in the future and have been recommending her to all the brides I know!

I went to Olga's yesterday to shop for my wedding gown fabrics and the owner Ingrid and her employees are amazing. The best experience I have had since trying to find my wedding dress. Ingrid is friendly, funny, knowledgeable, helpful and just gets it. Ingrid went above and beyond to get me everything I needed, to connecting me to a seamstress for my dress and makeup artist to even recommended places for my husband to get his quality custom-made suits. Ingrid's taste in styles for the brides is impeccable. The beauty of Ingrid is that she works with your budget and she is not in the business of ripping off brides but to help them save while looking elegant. I highly recommend Olga's to every bride!!. I cannot sing enough wonderful praises for Olga’s fabric store. I stumbled upon this boutique on instagram and immediately reached out to Ingrid the owner. She was beyond helpful and sent me the most amazing lace and other fabrics. Ingrid knows her textiles and store inventory. She was so kind and generous with her time.
Shipping to the US is always an adventure, but Ingrid sent a very tidy looking package and it arrived quickly and intact.
I can’t wait to sew with my new fabric and look forward to her Fall collection.

I had a dress custom made by one of the incredibly talented people at Olga’s and I really could not be happier with the result. I showed Josephine a couple inspiration photos and she whipped this dress up without a pattern based just on the photos I showed her and it is perfect. Amazing staff - food was delicious, set up and take down was fast and efficient. Table settings were fabulous and Angie and Sarah were so helpful through the whole process of planning to execution. They rented all the dishes, cutlery and glassware so we didn't have to work with separate vendors. We received many compliments from our guests throughout the evening. I highly, highly recommend for any occasion!

Went through Olivella to cater for several offices and will be going with them again for sure. Ahmad was easy to communicate with and efficient at handling order changes. Got great feedback about the food itself!

Olivella provided catering for a corporate event I hosted and they were such a pleasure to deal with. Angie is fantastic - she is so helpful and accommodating and went above and beyond. She was also so great to communicate with, which was really helpful for the planning process. They selected the menu and helped me figure out quantities needed and everything was perfect. We heard lots of compliments from guests on the food and we had plenty to go around. The service at the event was also top-notch - the servers were friendly and so attentive. Overall, I would highly recommend working with Olivella!

In the summer of 2022, my family hired Olivella to cater an open-house / celebration of life to mark the passing of my father. The events coordinator, Angie, was a pleasure to deal with and showed up with her team on time the day of the event. The food could not have been better, and the staff were very attentive to taking care of our guests as well as organizing the leftover food and cleaning prior to their departure. I would not hesitate to hire Olivella again for another event. Highly recommended.

Olivella recently catered our cocktail-style wedding and they did an amazing job! The food was delicious, they were organized and efficient and made the whole day completely stress-free. They even took the time to visit the venue the day before since they had never worked there before to ensure it all went smoothly. I can't recommend them enough.

We hired Oliver & Bonacini Catering for an event in mid-August for 70 people, and the food was great. We did a mix of chef-stations with passed canapés, and the team really did a great job. Leading up to the event, Oliver & Bonacini Catering, did a great job in answering all our questions, and held a tasting for the food which was nice. They were able to cater to all our guests, including those with dietary restrictions and allergies (incl. vegetarian, vegan, dairy-allergy, nut allergies etc.). We would definitely use O&B again.

I had the crew of Oliver & Bonacini for an outdoor event a month ago and can not say enough about the company and the team they sent to work my event. The food was outstanding, the service second to none and their overall pre-planning, set up, and tear down was top notch. I would not hesitate to bring them back for future events. I am still hearing from my guests about the food, both the taste and the presentation. Thanks team of Oliver and Bonacini, you were the best.

We held a small Graduation Dinner for family over the long weekend.
The food and service were more than great quality, not one complaint in terms of taste (a couple people asked for recipes). They really went above and beyond to work within our budget and were even receptive to last minute changes due to food allergies.

They were able to provide a bar tender for our event as well and we couldn't have been more happy with her. Very sweet and professional girl who offered and was willing to jump in and help when she saw me starting to pack up and clean.

Working with Matt Barcaik was like working with a friend who you know you could trust.

I will definitely be using this company's services again for any and all events.

Macarons baking 101 with Ollia Macarons & Tea! What a great way to spend a fun evening with friends, work mates, or siblings! Making macarons is not foolproof, but it sure is tasty! David, the owner, was our instructor, and he put everyone at ease. We got a bit of history while learning how to make these delicate patisseries. There was definitely alot of laughter in the class! Merci beaucoup David, and Lindsey for the delicious tea and macaron samples.The best part of the class is taking home 2 dozen of our masterpieces...😁

Really cute shop located a short distance off of 17th Ave. The shop itself has sum unique and fun products including greeting cards, specialty sugars, and other items that pair well with sweets. The main star are the macarons which are both colour and delicious. The biggest problem is deciding which ones to try! They are delicious! Packaging is thoughtfully done, and only adds to the appeal. Overall well worth the trip to stop in and try some of the best macarons in the city.

I’ve ordered a box of 24 macarons for my husband birthday. Literally just 4 of all flavours were fresh and soft. All others were very dry and crumbly. I was very disappointed as it was a gift. Two stars for Earl Gary and Vanilla

I had such a wonderful experience at the macaron-making class at Ollia Macarons & Tea! The instructor was incredibly friendly and sweet, and she did a fantastic job explaining each step of the process, including why each technique was important for making light, airy, and delicious macarons. It was perfect for beginners and made the whole experience fun and approachable.

During our break, we were treated to a selection of Ollia’s own macarons along with some absolutely delicious teas—such a nice touch! The shop itself was clean, cozy, and very inviting. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone looking to learn something new and enjoy a lovely evening out.

Hiring Om was by far the best decision I made for our destination wedding. They truly took the time to understand our vision, then executed it more beautifully than I could have ever imagined, with their own expert flair and artistry. Not only did they take amazing photos and videos — they were truly a pleasure to have around for the duration of our wedding weekend. They are some of the kindest, warmest people I have ever met, and all of our guests said the same. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone, for absolutely anything. Absolutely loved my wedding pictures and video! What made me go with them is their attention to detail and how much they care to get to know you and capture your personal style as a couple. I felt like everything they captured was personalized to us and special which is so important on your wedding day but also creative and well thought out. I had 4 days of events in Mexico with a loud family but they made the whole process easy and less stressful. Montse and Adrian were incredible to work with! We had originally met with them wayyyy back before the world was turned around in March of 2020. They were so understanding in helping us move our wedding day not once but twice. Allowing us to finally celebrate the way we really wanted to with all our friends and family. When it came to our wedding day, they made everything so easy for us by being both professional and a lot of fun to be around while we did our bridal party photos. We had a giant bridal party and it did not seem to phase them what so ever. And when we got our wedding photos and video back they did not disappoint. The Resturant was highly recommend by a friend, so we went. We were forgotten by our waitress and we had to flag down the hostess to get a waitress, whom promptly came and offered us complimentary desert for the mishap which was greatly appreciated. We order the eggplant app and the Korean chicken wings, both which are amazing. For the mains, we got the lamb and the halibut. The lamb was awesome but the halibut had a very strong fishy smell and taste and was very salty. The complimentary desert was also fantastic. Yes, I would go back next time but would not order the halibut again,

From the moment we stepped inside, we felt welcomed by a cozy lounge area with plush seating that set the tone for a relaxed evening. After passing the stylish bar, we entered the main dining hall, where grand décor, soaring ceilings, and a mix of lush hanging plants and elegant chandeliers created a stunning atmosphere. The lighting was softly dimmed, adding a romantic touch that made the whole experience feel special. Service was attentive and thoughtful throughout, and both the food and drinks were genuinely outstanding. We had a wonderful time—definitely a place makes our trip in Calgary memorable.

We had an incredible experience at Orchard! The vibe and decor are absolutely stunning, such a warm and elegant atmosphere.

The service was top-notch from start to finish, and they even surprised us with complimentary champagne for our anniversary, which made the evening extra special. The drinks were excellent, and the food was just outstanding. The halibut was hands down the best dish of the night! Perfectly cooked and full of flavor.

Everything from the presentation to the flavors exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this spot for a special occasion or just a great night out. We'll definitely be coming back!

Super underrated happy hour spot with fabulously crafted cocktails. Very fresh and perfectly balanced and some very unique combinations.

We had the Korean chicken wings and they were phenomenal, perfect crunch to sauce ratio. We also had the salmon from large plates as recommended by our server, Vern, and were blown away by the flavours of the dish.

The service was top notch, attentive, friendly, and all the recommendations were spot on what we were looking for.

We loved the decor and the vibe here in general. Great spot! Will be back.

This is the greatest use of wedding budget ever. We have had a phenomenal experience and the photos are stunning. We experienced Lavish Guests at our friends wedding and actually used the photos we got for our own wedding invitations 6 months later. Such a great way to allow for your guests to leave with an amazing keepsake that they actually want.

Our Lavish Guests was one of the highlights of our wedding and I'm so happy we decided to work with them. It was a 3 in 1 for us in the sense that it was entertainment during cocktail hour, our gifts to our guests as they walked away with their own professional portraits (and could access them digitally right away), and our guest book which is coffee table book with everyone's portrait and a copy of their handwritten message beside it. Erin and Andrew were so easy to work with and very responsive - they even took the time out of their day to go to our wedding venue on their personal time to ensure there was enough space for set up. Adele and Brendan were so friendly, professional, efficient, talented, etc. They had our guests feeling comfortable posing and captured the most authentic/candid moments. I don't think my review does their work justice. These photos were the perfect mix of beautiful/classy/fun. I could not recommend Our Lavish Guests more!

Clear communication throughout the entire booking process, through the wedding and after. Erin, Andrew and staff were amazing and sent lots of reminders (especially as my wedding brain kept forgetting). They were never impatient and were so kind and professional.

Having Our Lavish Guests at our wedding in June provided such a fun and practical service. It's rare to have professional photos of all of the wedding guests, and we are so glad we opted for their portrait gallery as opposed to a Polaroid experience. We had them set up before the wedding started, and they took photos during the cocktail time between the wedding and reception. I know that it elevated the guest experience, and we appreciated that all of our guests got actual prints of their photos right then as well as digital access to all of the photos. This appealed to all generations! The photos were our wedding favours for the guests, and we have visited several homes since where their photos are now framed and displayed. We used our copies of the photos to make our own photo guest book that guests signed there, which we love. We are also using the photos they took of us as a couple for our thank-you cards. They were great at making everyone feel comfortable; they are the utmost professionals and a high-end addition to any event.

I rented out the space for my daughter’s tea party bridal shower. The atmosphere was perfect, the table settings were beautiful and the food was fabulous. Corey and his team were excellent from start to finish providing outstanding service. The day went smoothly and I highly recommend it for a unique experience. Thank you again.

A very nice place inside the hotel. They have a good happy hour selection which lasts til 6 pm. The regular menu is only available starting at 5 pm. The place is very clean, and the servers are all extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent place for either just some drinks and snacks or a full course dinner. Highly recommend.

Too bad Google reviews can only go up to 5 stars because I would rate this restaurant 10 stars if I could. Our experience here went far beyond our expectations!!
The staff provided the best service despite a busy Saturday night. The host was very charming and sweet, her smile could light up the whole room. Our server was very attentive and made sure our table was always ready for each course.

We ordered lots of appetizers and entrees for our table to share and all I can say is everything was a hit! Every dish was bursting with flavour from different cuisines. The Brussels sprout Caesar was absolutely delicious, the sauce from the Hamachi Crudo really complemented the fish. And lastly, the duck breast was our absolute favourite. The duck was perfectly seasoned and cooked and the fried rice has a perfect amount of heat and is very flavourful. It definitely brought us all home. Totally recommend it.

Special shoutout to Chef Junell and Chef Angeli for preparing all these dishes for us. We can't wait to come back and taste his new creations!!

The kitchen staff prepared the most amazing dinner, our favorite of the placea we tried!! The modifications Chef Junell and team made so I could still enjoy a full menu were top notch and incredibly delicious! Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of us, we will be back!

We went for the YYC Experience Pop-up that has Yellow Door Bistro and Oxbow working together.

Firstly, the food and wine pairings were quite good. The hamachi crudo and agnolotti were the standout for me, and my fiancé loved the fennel sausage and pommes aligot.

The service and lack of organization is what brought this rating down so hard. Our server barely knew the type of wine pairing he was serving to us, despite us asking for details. Every course we were told if it was "bubbles, cider, or a mixed red." The wine pairings came out first and the last three courses took about 20 minutes each to reach our table after we'd already received the small glass of wine. We were hoping there might be a top up or something provided to acknowledge the lengthy wait times for the food that went with the pairing, but nothing was offered. The servers also did not explain all the components of each dish and we found ourselves looking it up on our phones between courses.

When we received the fennel sausage with the table side pommes aligot, we had to ask someone where the tableside offering of melted cheese was. While our food got cold, our waiter simply said "oh, they didn't come by with that yet?" and then went to find the guy with the cheese while we left our dish untouched waiting for its final topping. The heating mechanism was failing for the melted cheese experience, so the server was using a hand torch to get the smallest amount of cheese to put onto the potatoes. The mechanism failing was certainly no one's fault, but the kitchen should have pivoted and began melting cheese in the kitchen to provide fully melted cheese on this dish. We saw them serve a table with completely unmelted cheese nearby, scraping off hunks of solid cheese, and that was rough.

At the end of the meal, we had our dessert served to us by the sommelier who brought out the bottle of sweet wine to tell us about for our final dish and pairing. We expressed that we had wished she had been around for the other wine pairings because her attention to detail was great.

In the end, the food was really the star, but with so much disorganization and the servers being unable to explain the dishes or the wine pairings, this was a bit of a disappointment for the price of $320 for two people.

Always an incredible experience with Shaun when it comes to your hair! He’s a magical when it comes to blondes! He’s been styling my hair in Vancouver and now here in Calgary, has helped me maintain my bright blonde while keeping it healthy. I always leave the salon feeling like a new person, not to mention how much of a treat he is to talk to! By far my favourite stylist I’ve had, highly recommend booking in with him!

I got extensions at this salon and paid a LOT for them... close to $1600 after install.. only for them to shed by handfulls in the shower amd during sleep. After 2 months in, the hair was disastrously thin.. it looked awful. I contacted the salon owner to complain and hopefully find resolve because I had saved for a year to get these extensions... she told me to send them in and she would send them away to the manufacturer. I sent them back and she told me that it looked like an issue with how I cared for them.... This was the second set of extensions I had gotten with this salon - I used expensive shampoo from their salon and followed the exact same hair care routine and had zero issues with my previous experience.... I did tell her this, however I never heard back from her. I called numerous times and never got ang resolve..... I would have liked to have been a repeat customer for the rest of my life but thks experience left me with such a sour taste in my mouth.. save your money and go somewhere where they care about their clients.

I always go to see Hope as she’s my go to for all things hair, for the past few years. I followed her from the extensionist to painted pretty, she’s absolutely amazing and so skilled in what she does. The staff are so accommodating, and if I can’t get in to see Hope then I will ask for Courtney, she’s so sweet and amazing also! Does amazing curls. Everyone’s so sweet and accommodating. I recommend these two girls and this location to everyone I know. Prices are reasonable too.

Got my hair cut and styled by Nicola. She gave me a wonderful cut! Very stylish and easy to manage on my own. She also took the time to pause and check that I was happy with the length and cut as we went. Added bonus- very friendly and east to chat with!

I had a lovely experience with Dani. Although I didn’t get my hair done by her, she ordered in some hair extensions to the salon for me when I wasn’t able to get the website to work to ship them to my house. She was back and forth with me for days keeping me in the loop over instagram when the shipping company had tried to deliver them when the salon was closed. She was such a pleasure to talk to and her customer service skills were amazing. I can’t wait to book an actual service with her in the future.
