We’ve used The Lootbag Lady for guest recovery at our hotel this summer, and even though we didn’t need them often, the times we did our guests were very happy with them! The bags are thoughtful, fun, and a great touch for turning a situation around. We really appreciate having this option available.

Stayed at the Brookstreet Hotel and played the Marshes Course.

Very nice pro shop and clubhouse, got all your golf needs before your round. Great practice facility with a large putting/chipping area.

Course was in excellent condition for a wet weekend. Tee boxes are well groomed, fairways are in great condition (if you can find the fairways)

Very challenging course (played from the Blue Tees).. lots of challenging Par 5s (almost unreachable in 2 on some) the par 4s are fairly long with tight approach shots and the par 3s are no cake walk!

Will for sure be coming back to play this course in the near future

Our group had a great time playing mini-putt (in Sept). The course was not too hard or too easy with water features, a creek, and a walkover bridge! Just enough challenge to be fun. The pickleball courts look amazing!
We then had lunch at the beautiful Ironside Grill. Service was cheerful and attentive. My burger was perfectly seasoned and tasty. There is an outdoor patio with a great view! We will definitely play and visit again soon!

Nice course but staff needs to be more customer service oriented. We had 3:00 tee time and one of the staff would not let us finish our round even though we were 10 minutes ahead of time. For $125 a round you would expect better service.

Went there yesterday...Let me preface this with, it costs 140$ to play a round here with a cart(fine with that). it was a rainy day, "cart path only" which is fair due to the conditions(does make the round take longer as you cant drive to each ball). We were playing our round when we got asked to speed up "No problem"....So we started playing a scramble best ball in 2 pairs of 2's. We got around to the back 9 when one of the marshals came up to us for the second time asking if we could skip a hole(had nobody behind us for the last hour+)....We asked why and he stated that there were groups waiting on us. Again, hadn't seen anyone waiting on us to tee off for the last few holes. We told him we hadn't seen anyone waiting, to which he replied "that's not what our satellite says" into which he kept trying to pressure us to skip a hole(having paid 140$, changed the way we played & cart path only, and not having anyone waiting on us). Eventually he decided to "go check for himself" and never came back... 3 holes later, we could see the hole he asked us to skip on, AND THERE WAS STILL NOBODY TEEING OFF!!!!! If you want to constantly be pressured for no reason at all and pay premium for it, this is the place. If you want to enjoy the game of golf, PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE. I would have completely understood if groups were waiting on us, or on our tail. However it being cart path only and things taking longer as it is plus wet conditions with nobody behind us for at the very least 3 holes, there is ZERO reason to pressure a group to speed up or SKIP A HOLE, after paying premium.

I was planning to buy a membership here because the course itself is beautiful, but my experience with the Marshall completely changed my mind. Throughout the round, he kept rushing us and riding up on us, insisting we were holding up play. The issue is we weren’t slow at all.. we were waiting on the group in front of us multiple times. It was frustrating and really took away from the enjoyment of the game.

If the course wants to attract and keep members, the staff need to pay closer attention to what’s actually happening on the course instead of unfairly pressuring groups that are playing at the proper pace.

Pros: The lobby is absolutely gorgeous with a big skylight and a library. The staff were great, from the housekeepers to the front desk and the restaurant team. We had dinner the first night and the food was very good, drinks from the bar tender was great as well, thank you Brook! The room was cozy and clean, and I loved the bed and pillows.

Cons: I wouldn’t consider this hotel luxury. The rooms are fine, but nothing really stood out. It was clean, but the lack of slippers in the room was surprising. Only one elevator was working, and it had water damage with a few broken lights, which felt a little creepy. What really stood out to me was how understaffed they seemed. I feel like we only saw two desk employees the entire stay. A tall gentleman who checked us in, very kind and helpful, but later we saw him parking cars as well. The young woman working the night shift at the front desk was back the following day, and then we saw her cleaning rooms in her suit!! It honestly looked like they hadn’t gone home. The housekeepers were also a bit loud in the morning when talking to each other in the hallways. I’m sure they did not mean to be rude, just louder than expected when you want to sleep in. Lastly, our room window faced the library. While it’s a beautiful view, it made me feel closed in, especially since the window doesn’t open for fresh air.

Overall, I loved this hotel. It is centrally located downtown with an awesome luxury feel. We did a suite and it was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. My only complaint was that the room height was a bit low and dark but it is an older building and they made up for this with solid lighting and luxury amenities.

Stayed here for my birthday with my husband. The room was spacious and beautifully designed and so was the bathroom. The AC worked well and kept the room cool, everything was clean and well-kept. Comfy bed, pillows, cozy blanket and plush robes.

Valet service was great, the staff was very nice, we also had room service breakfast (it was ok, but I probably wouldn’t get it again), the check in/out process was smooth and the location was incredibly convenient.

One note is, the rooms look out the circular courtyard area that is the inside of the restaurant so it can get a little loud but everything died down at 11pm. Would definitely come back again!

We had the pleasure of working with Rae and Charles during a wedding reception at The Metcalfe Hotel, and they were both absolutely fantastic! Rae, the food service lead, made sure everything was constantly replenished—our guests never had to wait or look for anything. The service was smooth, timely, and super professional.

Charles, the bartender, kept the drinks flowing with ease and charm. Despite a steady crowd, no one ever had to wait long, and the guests really appreciated his friendly energy and efficiency.

They both played a big part in making the evening seamless and enjoyable. Thank you for such outstanding service!

Lovely spot to stay. Right in the middle of everything you might need. Plenty of spots to eat, really close to parliament hill, museums, all sorts of historic sights. The room itself was really nice. They have Le Labo bath products which is crazy. My hair has never smelt better.

We cannot say enough good things about Mixing Bowl and Chris. They were absolutely AMAZING for our wedding day this past weekend. From our very first conversation, Chris was incredibly responsive, professional, and a genuine pleasure to work with. He guided us through the entire process with clarity and kindness, always making us feel like we were in the most capable hands. He gave great recommendations and was able to help us solve problems with ease.

The food was ...just wow. Guests were raving about how delicious everything was! Every dish was bursting with flavour, beautifully presented on family style platters, and cooked to perfection. The beef, in particular, was melt-in-your-mouth tender!

Chris and his team went above and beyond to accommodate every allergy and dietary restriction without sacrificing quality or flavour. That kind of attention to detail and care is rare, and it did not go unnoticed. Every staff member was courteous, warm, and highly professional. Many of our guests commented on how lovely the service was throughout the evening.

If you're even thinking about working with Mixing Bowl ... DO IT! Chris and his team exceeded every expectation and made our wedding dinner so very special. We’re so grateful to have had them as part of our celebration!

We found Chris’s business through the previous owners of Jabulani Winery when we started planning our wedding. Throughout the planning process Chris was so helpful using his diverse experience to help us plan the tastiest meal for our wedding. As two foodies, the food was the most important part of our wedding to us and Mixing Bowl certainly delivered.

My husband (the groom) has a severe peanut/nut allergy and Chris was so awesome to make him feel super safe. A few guests had celiac and Chris didn’t hesitate to modify their dishes and ensure they felt safe as well.

Chris gave us amazing vibes from the start and truly lived up to those expectations! Definitely a perfect wedding caterer option if you truly care about high quality food & service!

As the Father of the Bride I was extremely happy when my daughter came over to give us the details of the dinner planned for her outdoor wedding in our backyard. We were told that Chris was patient with their questions and spent a long time with them ensuring they were going to get what they wanted in the meal and event.
I cannot begin to tell you how well the day went. Chris’ team were timely, friendly and so encouraging. They offered to help wherever they could and were so professional in their serving and deportment. The food was even better than the service! What an incredible meal with servers who met our every request. The Mixing Bowl will be catering a wedding of one of the bride’s closest friends later this summer based upon our wedding delight. Thank you Chris, and thank you to your staff, they were totally amazing.

Purchased a few HAY in-stock items and am super happy with them. I originally ordered online and then went in store to see the items I ordered in person. One of my items would have taken many weeks to arrive, so they easily switched it out for another item I could take home right away. Love them!

This was our second time ordering from The Modern Shop, and we're already looking forward to our next purchase. The staff is knowledgeable, and communication throughout the purchase and shipping process was excellent. Our lights arrived safely and were very well packaged.

I’d like to clarify a few points:
1. Of course, I don’t use my legal name on a Google review, so saying you “have no record of my name” misses the point. I did make a purchase, and I’ve already reached out to your customer service multiple times.
2. Each time I reached out, the only response I received was to “wait longer.” No concrete timelines or useful updates were provided. For example, I was once told it would ship within a week, but three weeks later I had to follow up again, only to be told to wait even further. That’s not an honest or reliable way of handling customer concerns.
3. My order was not a special or customized order — they were all standard, regular item. So referencing “special orders” in your reply is inaccurate and misleading.
The issue isn’t about understanding that some items may take time. The issue is the lack of transparency, broken promises, and poor communication. That’s why this experience has been so frustrating.

Online purchase with timeframe well beyond what was stated on the website, it’s been almost three months and still haven’t received it. The customer service is slow and the only thing they say is to keep you waiting further instead of a refund. This is endless.

I wish there was a zero star option! PLEASE READ before placing an order with this company!! I placed an order on April 25th, it is now July 2nd and I still dont have my order! Keep in mind I only ordered 3 little items from Jonathan Adler totalling less than $300!
After I placed my order, I got an email saying that they have a 2-3 week processing time, also. they do charge shipping of $25...
After contacting them, they agreed two ship partially the order with the items they had on hand but the remainder would ship on June 12th... June 12th came and went with no communication or tacking update... not to mention the two items they shipped were both damaged... I email them photos and videos of what was received and here we are July 2nd with no updates whatsoever! this is the most annoying order ive ever placed... so much for trying to support and buy Canadian! from here on out I am not going to be placing orders with smaller businesses its simply too annoying to deal with I rather give my money to larger US companies who have established customer service departments

Difficult economic times do not mean you should make the experience miserable for your customers

You did not send me not gave me tracking for the replacement items for the 2 faulty items you sent!

Here is a recap for you with my perspective as a customer:
-Order placed April 25th
-ZERO communication until I reached out to you on May 29th to be told items are in backorder with a shipping date of June 12 but you offered partial shipping of items you had in hand
-June 9th I receive two out of 3 items but both are faulty
-Today is July two and all I have is the 2 faulty items

let me know if this would be acceptable for you as a customer yourself or if this is the reflection of your business that you want to provide to your customers

As one of the few online stores where I can find my favorite European brands, I understand that it’s necessary to confirm stock availability from selection to shipping. The customer service was prompt in informing me about the out-of-stock item and offered a second option right away. In the end, the package arrived in great condition and everything went smoothly. I’ll definitely purchase again—there are so many great things to choose from!

The inn also included kayaking & stand up paddle boards free to guests
We didn't take advantage of the hot tub or sauna as the weather has been quite hot. The cold plunge is a nice feature though

Great place to stay in the Almonte - Mississippi Mills area. Beautiful, interesting rooms in a unique heritage old house. Organized and set up to be welcoming and comfortable for guests.
Terrific 'continental breakfast, best I have had. Fresh baked pastries, fresh fruit, oatmeal, boiled eggs and top notch condiments. Terrific coffee too.
If you are visiting this area, enjoy your stay here. Just try and arrive in the area early, town closes up early, 4:00pm!

Staff is super nice and readily accommodated us keeping temp controlled medical supplies in their commercial fridge. Loved that they had kayaks and paddle boards for us to use. The hot tub and sauna were really nice too. Great experience!

We had an excellent stay here over Canada Day. What a fantastic and beauty place to unwind and recharge. Staff were knowledgeable and kind , our room was spotless and comfy , and the activities ( Kayak, hot tub and cold plunge) were wonderful. View from our room was gorgeous and the location ideal. Thank you Rob ( and Peggy and Bo!) for a well- needed escape .

We had a lovely stay at the Inn, the service was warm, friendly and efficient. The breakfast was delicious with home made scones and muffins.
We had dinner here both nights, delicious and good value, alongside a beautiful view of the River from the patio.
We will be back. Almonte is a charming town.

Some of the best service I have ever had. The girl who served us was friendly, bright , knowledgeable, and engaging. I can't remember what wine I ordered though 😄 we did not order food. We sat on the back patio and I think it is my favorite in the city. Even better than Arlo and Lupulus. Just beautiful and comfortable back there. Prices for the wine were a it hight though.

Bianca was our server and she was AMAZING. Her energy was fantastic and positively contributed to our night. She offered to take lots of pictures of us and was very attentive and kind. She was also very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to make us a drink just from a picture we showed. Overall positive experience thank you Bianca!!

Adore this place. One comment is that the chairs on the outside of the table would be better with backings just to make it more accessible friendly. Otherwise I love it. Popcorn, a garden, dealers choice drink options, moody ambiance..reminds me of places I’ve been in Paris and London or even Italy or Montreal. One of a kind for Ottawa for sure. I only had one drink but it’s great to go solo and just have a cocktail & read, for a date or a girls night with a bff.

While the cocktails themselves are fine, the price itself just doesn’t warrant what you get. The cocktails were okay but I’ve had better for far less of a cost. I feel they would be better off having more creative or unique cocktails. The patio and bar is nice and cute but seems like any backyard with lots of fairy lights, it’s also very dark. Overall I don’t think I’d come back unless they made some more unique drinks.

Another great girls getaway. This is the 4th time staying here and I am always amazed at the work and improvements made each year. The rooms and decorating are all very unique and the pool area is spectacular. We enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner. The hosts Gary & Julie truly go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. Look forward to continued visits.

Had an amazing time at the Old Mill Manor, comfortable accommodations for our family reunion of 12 adults. Several lovely lounge areas and a great pool. Gary and Julie were wonderful hosts and I would highly recommend to others!

To say we had the best time at the Old Mill Manor would be an understatement. This was our second time staying there with our whole extended family. It is the perfect place to come together and create lasting memories! We will definitely be back!

I wish I could have brought the king size bed home with me. Haven't slept so well in a long time. Everything was so perfect from the greeting picture to the well equipped kitchen, to large dining room that was able to seat our large group. The pool , WOW!

Finally to made it to The olive Branch and it did not disappoint!! We had two appetizers, the roasted red pepper and feta dip and the Keftedes and they were both AMAZING!
For our entrees we had the Lamb platter and the chicken pita wrap with salads, everything was tender and very flavourful. I highly recommend! The Greek wine paired very well with all of our food.
The staff and service was also amazing! We will definitely be back!

Stopped here for lunch on the weekend and ordered calamari, spanakopita, and the chicken souvlaki pita - if you haven't been to The Olive Branch, this place is a must! The food is incredible and the staff are great (thank you for the spanakopita recommendation!)

Was never obsessed with Greek food until I tried this place. I found it on uber eats last year and tried the spanakopita - phenomenal. Then tried the shrimp platter… so uniquely seasoned and the potatoes are SO GOOD!!! They don’t skimp on the salad portion (which tastes amazing and fresh). I brought my friend and dined in for the first time on Friday and the experience was just as good. Friendly staff, you can tell they care if we enjoyed the food.

+ I just recently found out their meat is actually halal! Ordered their grilled chicken Greek salad which was so filling and delicious as expected. I can’t wait to try more dishes!

No words can describe how amazing this meal was. The owner took such great care of us, the food was some of the best food I have ever tasted, and the atmosphere was perfect!

The Olive Branch is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary journey. With its enchanting ambiance, exquisite food, and outstanding service, it stands out as a true gem. Each bite was a burst of fresh, traditional flavors. It's a family run business, and everyone was super friendly. I've never had such an incredible Gyro in my life! Will absolutely be coming here more often!

Stay away from The Ottawa Limo Company. Reserved their 25 seater party bus for my daughter's prom. The booking ended up coming through AAA Limousine & Coach. Confirmed twice in the days leading up to the event and was assured that all was good

Bailed on us, BY EMAIL, the night before my daughter's prom saying that their 'affiliate in Ottawa cancelled due to health reasons'. Save yourselves the stress and book with a reputable Ottawa Limousine service like Premier Limos who squeezed us in between two other bookings to save prom for my daughter and 24 others.

We use The Ottawa Limo Company regularly for our clients and they are always courteous, professional and prompt while representing/servicing our brand - I highly recommend this local limousine service for all your events!

Honestly one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had trying to get information on a service. I called this company to ask some questions about service for a short 90th birthday celebration trip. The guy on the phone would NOT answer my general questions directly, instructed me to “fill out the online form” for a quote. After one frustrating call, I filled out the form. After 2 days, I had not heard back from them, I called again to speak to someone, I was informed the quote could take up to a week (!?) and rudely informed that they were VERY busy (tone of voice suggested I should know this!?). I finally received a quote emailed to me the next day. The quote included a “rate” of $745 plus various other charges. There was no breakdown of how many hours the “rate” was for, and I was unclear where this company is based out of as there are 6 different towns listed in the email bottom. The last line in the quote email says “if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me”. I replied to him that I had a couple of questions and could he please call me to discuss. His tremendously rude reply (IMO after the other difficult interactions) was “Our quote is straight forward, however you’re more than welcome to call us any time” I was floored! So insulting and definitely NOT indicative that you are at all interested in making nearly $900 from me for a couple of hours work. That was the final straw. I am NOT interested in dealing with a company that cannot answer simple inquiries in a polite manner. I think “Justin” could use some customer service lessons!

I’m giving Palace two stars because it used to be the place to be back in the day! Not sure what’s going on now, they can’t fill it up like they used to. None of the toilets in the ladies’ washroom could flush; the $20 entry before 10:30pm; $9 shots; Amapiano the entire set? I LOVE Amapiano, but tonight was a lot, with repeated songs lol.

Some positives - Good women : men ratio; the song mixes were generally good, I danced the whole night & people were super respectful in my eyes. I love that women had their cute outfits on!!!

We need to style up respectfully. The Palace has so much potential to be what it was before & even better.

Omg! What's going on, Palace? You guys need to upgrade your vibe. This used to be my go-to, but recently, I've been there 3 times in the last 3 months and have been disappointed every time.
Saturday night, 08/16, the DJ sucked and we paid $22 for that crap. I have to find another place with better fun/vibes.

Watched Ruger perform here. And the party after was mad. The DJ had all the afrobeat jams on queue. Mad fun. Ain't no party like a 9ja party.

Came here with a friend on new year's eve and we were not impressed. We bought tickets online and waited in line outside the venue for 45 minutes while it was cold and drizzling rain. This was the same line for people who were waiting to buy tickets at the door. Bouncers were telling people that they could bypass the line if they had VIP tickets or pay $100 to skip the line. I explicitly told them that, it was wild of them to charge a ridiculous amount to skip the line. One of the bouncers kind of shrugged and said that's how they make money on busy nights like NYE. What a way to exploit people and demotivate them from coming back again.. The coat check staff and bartenders were nice though. The DJ was all over the place with the music. He would play 1 song within a genre and then the next song would be a completely different genre. The transitions between the songs were awful. You would be dancing a certain type of way and then be stopped in your track because the DJ stopped the beat and transitioned into something completely different. It was hard to move throughout the space as the dancefloor was awkwardly formatted. After trying to make the most of NYE, we left 2 hours later. Would not recommend coming here.

The wait staff were great, I didn't have to line up much. Problems are the door price - usually $20 to $50, or more. The bigger problem is they force you to coat check - $4 depending on the night. This is a problem for several reasons: if it's a part of your outfit, it should not be considered outerwear; you should not expect everyone to be warm enough; the garment could be a luxury item opening you to libel; stops anyone from taking a smoke break which is technically illegal; and your staff hate this rule and everyone told me it's a rule of "the stupid owner." Listen to your staff, not doing so is why nightclubs fail in byward. Coat check alone means I won't be back. Aside from that the entry is so small that any sort of movement is a nightmare. Music was ok but some artists went off script.

Amazing store! Obviously they have loads of interesting cards for literally any occasion, but you can also find puzzles, painting supplies, fun party items, quality notebooks, calendars, ribbons, lux wrapping paper, colourful envelopes, and many gift items. Their seasonal items are also something to look forward to, especially before Christmas.

I’ve just returned from Ottawa’s The Papery store and was absolutely delighted once again, by the friendly staff, variety of occasion cards, gifts and art supply section.
Just picked up a water colour set ( for me) and a 5-year journal ( as a birthday gift for my sister) along with a few fabulous cards.
Everything is such a high quality, at reasonable costs… lots of Canadian products too!
Staff are always friendly and helpful.
Just drop in - I’m sure you won’t leave empty handed.

Lots of quality, unique products here. Found exactly what I was looking for, and they had a good variety to choose from. (I was looking for origami paper, but they seem to have everything related to paper or writing. It’s like a candy store for paper. Check out their website for available products.) Well worth a visit. Parking is tight so grab whatever spot you see within walking distance.

I'm really surprised they don't have a larger assortment... of paper. They seem to be focused on greeting cards and gifts. They just didn't have anything suitable for my purpose paper-wise. 🤷🏼‍♂️

The Papery is a fun shop at the corner of Bank and Fifth. It has been open for years now and sells all sorts of interesting things. From cards to calligraphy pens and paper, puzzles, party supplies, and lots of interesting curios that would make any celebration special. This has always been my go-to store to check every now and then for interesting curios or fun cards. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the Glebe.

I cannot thank Zeina at The Perfect Alteration enough for the incredible work she did on my wedding dress. From the very first fitting, she made me feel so comfortable and supported. Her calm, kind presence and genuine care made the entire process such a joy.

Zeina’s attention to detail and craftsmanship are truly exceptional. She took my dress and tailored it so perfectly—it fit like it was made just for me. Every adjustment was done with such precision and love.

Absolutely amazing and talented. I came to Zeina because the store I got my dress unfortunately order a size too small. It was so stressful and awful but Zeina worked her magic with my dress. She spent 2 hours with me at each appointment going over everything that needed to be fixed. She is so patient, talented and detail oriented. Zeina has altered my dresses as both a wedding guest and a bride. I’ve been so pleased with her work every time! She created a beautiful bustle on my wedding dress and took it in on all the right places! My dress had a deep V, which I wanted covered with lace flowers and she executed my vision perfectly! I found Zeina online after reading glowing reviews—and I’m so glad I did! I am petite and my dress was both too big and too long. Zeina offered a few thoughtful options for how it could be adjusted.

I can’t recommend Purple Cake enough. Every cake Paige creates is so amazing and is an absolute masterpiece. She made my birthday cake, and it was perfect – beautifully designed and so delicious! Her attention to detail and ability to customize exactly what you want is unmatched. I won’t get my cakes from anyone else but her. Ps: this cake slice is sooo yummy too! Had a great experience with The Purple Cake Co. The cake was for my daughter and her fiance to celebrate their engagement. The cake design was exactly what I asked for and was absolutely delicious.

One of the best live music spots in the city ! Been a few times to see locals bands play and it was always a great time! Great sound system, friendly staff and cheap beers! Would recommend buying the tickets online as they are a few bucks cheaper than at the door.

We were there with our group to see Barry and the Blasters and to support the Christie Lake Kids Camp fundraiser. What a great night and fantastic intimate venue. It did get very crowded and warm and the servers were busy but all to be expected given the great turnout!

Shout out to Barry and the Blasters for a fabulous show and for doing this fundraiser once again👍🤗❤️

Sunday Blues Jam — pay to play $ 5?
I went to check out the Blues Jam at Rainbow Bistro and was surprised to learn that musicians are expected to pay $5 just to get on stage and play. This is an open jam. Most open mics and jams in Ottawa don’t charge the musicians anything, and some even offer drink specials or appreciation for the players. Here, you’re basically paying to provide free entertainment to the bar. Personally, I don’t think that’s fair, and I won’t be back.

Was an amazing night with a really unique atmosphere. Their drinks were strong and for a low price. Music was good, you can get amazing seats anywhere in the building since it's smaller. Would definitely recommend getting ear plugs either at the event (they sell them) or beforehand since the music is VERY loud. The venue I went to lasted from 8pm to 12am, with three bands, but I don't know how long single bands go for.

We were at the Bistro for a Saturday evening show. It is a great venue that showcase Canadian music. This was our second visit there and it was not a disappointment.

We’re staying in Westin for a week and for the past couple of days we came here just for cocktails. They were amazing every time. Today we finally had the chance to sit down for a full dining experience and the food was every bit as incredible as the cocktails.

We started with the oyster and shrimp cocktail as appetizers. Both were very refreshing and fresh. For mains, my husband had the tuna and I ordered the prawns and scallops. Both dishes were excellent, but I especially loved the prawns and scallops. The scallops were cooked perfectly, melting in your mouth and pairing beautifully with the sauce. The flavors struck a wonderful balance between the natural seafood taste and the sauce.

For dessert, we tried the sorbet trio with lemon, mango, and raspberry. I especially enjoyed the lemon and raspberry for their refreshing sourness, while my husband preferred the mango as he is not a fan of sour flavors.

The cocktails we had tonight were not quite as outstanding as usual, but still very enjoyable. Overall, this restaurant is a gem. If you are staying in Western or even just passing through, it is definitely worth a visit.

We absolutely loved the food at the Shore club. The short rib is to die for, and the steaks are cooked to perfection. They also surprise you with an amuse bouche which we appreciated. The service however was not on par with the rest. We had to ask for our wine which arrived well after our appetizers, and the server didn't ask us of we wanted bread or not. The timing of the dinner service was off unfortunately because of those small but important details.

I came here for a work dinner a few months ago and it was delicious! The staff were friendly and the food was amazing. The vibe as nice not too fancy but not casual either. The perfect medium :) I will come back when I am in Ottawa next.

Amazing steakhouse that offers high quality meats and seafood in an intimidate setting. The New York striploin was cooked to perfection and paired wonderfully with the chimichurri sauce. The bread and butter were heavenly, the butter did not even need a knife and could be dipped like a sauce. The staff are very friendly and professional, and the interior is beautifully decorated.

I celebrated my birthday party at this restaurant and my experience was nothing short of fantastic!

I had initially made a reservation for 15 people but I needed to increase the reservation to 17 people so I called back and the staff I spoke with said there was no problem. I then called again to reconfirm my reservation 2 days before the event and was told my reservation wasn’t updated so I spoke to a manager (Mercedes) who was such a sweetheart about it! Mercedes explained that the maximum allowed in the dining room was 15 (this wasn’t communicated previously) but they made accommodations to accept my request.

Fast forward to the day of the dinner, Sorel was our server and he was sooooooo lovely and patient considering my party did not all arrive at the same time so we placed our orders separately. The team did a great job still ensuring our meals all came out at about the same time.

Some of the meals we had included the lobster bisque, boneless short rib, 28oz porter house steak, shrimp, lobster, mashed potatoes, original fries and onion rings. Every item was a 10/10 except the seafood items solely because of their portions (which is normal I suppose). The onion rings also seemed too oily.

To top it off, the offered the celebrant (me) birthday dessert on the house 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Overall, The Shore Club was a great option for food and customer service! I’ll DEFINITELY be going back

Dario, was fantastic. The place was great for the large event event of 34 people. Karaoke was huge hit. TV in two rooms were used for bday slide shows. Bluetooth speakers are great quality and there are two. Pool, ping pong, racing sim, Pac-Man, just great. Lots of fun and tons of room. Thank you to the staff. Great work.

I recently held a seminar event at The Spot and had a fantastic experience. The venue is very nice, exuding a professional and clean atmosphere that immediately made me feel comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the event, ensuring everything ran smoothly. I was impressed by the attention to detail and the overall organization of the seminar.

We threw a party there for my husband’s birthday and had a great time! It was like having a bar to ourselves where we could shoot pool, play fuseball, shoot some hoops (my favorite) & have our own dance party. Everyone had such a great time and thought it was a great idea! Best part, no after party clean up like we would have had to do if we hosted at our house.

In a super random location, there is not much parking and it’s in the upstairs of the sex and weed shop next door.

Went there for a party rental and the games are a nice touch but the inside is super dated and very hot in the summer. They have AC but it’s not very strong on a hot day with a lot of people inside. There is a full kitchen and a room with pool tables but everything inside is a bit run down. If your doing a low key kids party or teenager party it might be a good option. Anything for adults I wouldn’t recommend.

Attended my neices birthday party here. The place was very spacious and clean. Lots of games and entertainment for birthday parties and game nights. Highly recommend for anyone looking to do their kids birthday or want a spot for poker night or pool and ping pong. Thank you so much to the owner and staff who made this possible.
