We had butter tofu with rice and cod with rice. Food was mediocre at best. However, we appreciated excellent customer service from staff. The restaurant was also very clean.

The staff were polite and cheery and the food was generally great. My one complaint is that they didn't seem to know how to steam milk too well but I didn't really mind. I was more interested in the tarts. Love that they had vegan and gf options. Vegetarian options for lunch as well.

Thyme & Again has maintained quality over the years. Have to say this time around, the Easter cake stole show – it actually tasted like a Cadbury chocolate. The breakfast sandwiches were on point as usual. The lattes lacked depth and flavour, but were fine.

Cute cafe! They have food, beverages and even accessories. We got the earl grey tea, passion fruit cheesecake, s’more cookie and the olive baguette(which they sell from mamie clafoutis). Our favourites were the cookie and the baguette. We also really enjoyed the outdoor deck seating.

I love having this little gem in the neighbourhood! The service is always friendly, the decor is lovely and they are a great place to shop if you need to buy a gift. Love their cranberry white chocolate scones. I buy the frozen ones and heat bake them at home!

The staff were super friendly and kind. I will always be coming to this store from now on. I live in the Montreal area and had a terrible experience there. Luckily i stopped by the ottawa location and got a complete 360 with the best service I've seen in a long time. Great job to this team for allowing me to continue to purchase with tiffany and co after all these years. They managed to fix my limited edition bracelet. Free of cost even after the warranty ended as the other location couldn't be bothered and said there was nothing they could do and told me to leave and call customer service. Ottawa team you guys are amazing! Keep up the amazing customer service.

When we were looking for a special ring we did a lot of online in store browsing at various jewellers. To us, most of those experiences were a bit disappointing and just didn’t make feel as good as you need to when making a big decision. Lucky for us, we visited Tiffany’s and felt really comfortable and welcome. All of the staff were very friendly and warm and happy to show you various pieces without hesitation. A few hours later on our return we were welcomed back at the door and introduced to Victoria. She really did a great job asking us questions in order to learn about our story and help us find the perfect ring. She has a wealth of knowledge about the Tiffany’s Brand and their history in the diamond business. We never felt pressured and were super impressed with her professionalism and excellent service. We finished up our purchase and had a little celebration and have the ring at home completing the perfect transaction. Thank you Victoria for being so kind and making us feel truly special. For my 56th birthday I treated myself to a diamond by the yard necklace and the experience alone was a perfect gift! I was greeted by the security guard with a smile and a welcome. I browsed and took the time to pick the perfect piece for myself with the impeccable service from Kellie who was delightful and patient. Once I picked my gift out, they brought out the champagne to celebrate!! I continued to browse their beautiful dreamy and unique jewelry! Upon our departure, the security guard opened the door and chatted us up before leaving. I am totally satisfied with my purchase and my experience and maybe one day soon I’ll come back to treat myself again!

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights, after attending a reception at the same location. We were most happy with the historic nature of the neighbourhood and with the quiet surroundings. The home is close to Laurier House and Strathcona Park and is in easy walking distance of the University of Ottawa and more. We really enjoyed exploring this area of Ottawa. The host was very friendly and approachable and our breakfasts were varied and delicious! Thank you Margot.

I celebrated my twin girls baby shower last Saturday and it was amazing. The hostess Margot really made my baby shower special by organizing the food, the games, the warm welcome party to my family and close friends. All of my guest were astonished of the building and were very pleased of the service. I definitely will come back to her to organize more social events.

A family operated B&B in a very interesting historic area of Ottawa conveniently only about 25mins to walk into the centre of the city or a bus stop 200m away. Timberhouse is a wonderful historic building that you will remember making it a must-stay if you like that sort of thing. But as with such buildings, there is compromise to be had like squeaky floorboards and older fittings. Margot, the host, is everything a B&B host should be. We had a terrific and memorable stay. Lovely breakfasts too. Thank you, Margot.

Timberhouse is architecturally unique and a historic stone and residence in a quiet part of Sandy Hill. The proprietors are very personable and accessible. The rooms are large and gorgeous—my mother’s room was at least 2 times the size of the average hotel room, had lots of windows and a great view of the garden, below. I understand this b&b is a fairly recent acquisition and the proprietors are systematically updating interior spaces, which strongly evoke a “Mission-style” ambience. The kitchen/breakfast space is modern and bright. It’s a great destination that we will certainly revisit👍👍

Overall Amazing Experience for an event that was hosted at this beautiful and Historic home in the heart of Ottawa. Would highly recommend to anyone considering this venue for an event or for any of their bed & breakfast services !!!

I paid a fortune to replace batteries to 15 watches. The owner of the store claims to provide Swiss made batteries that last 5 years. They all died after 12 or 13 months. Upon returning to the store, the owner said he cannot guarantee the product for more than 12 months. I definitely don’t recommend this store by all means. If you insist to go there, ask the store owner to provide you with a written warranty for 5 years. He will not comply! Two thumbs down for this terrible service

Mat and his team did a fantastic job repairing a 14kt Figaro chain. He was also very kind and shared insight into his profession and the details of the repair. I had a great experience. Be sure to check out the watch collection while you're there.

If you have children, please take them here, the store is the true Christmas miracle especially them. Even if you walk in here in the middle of summer, it will still screams Christmas and the atmosphere will make your heart feel like you’re in the Christmas season. This is one of the most unique and European Christmas store that I’ve been to in Canada. The walking space is a bit tight, but in return, there are tons of good good stocks and everyone will be able to find themselves something unique. The store also has two parts, one with the vintage, classic style that was also really beautiful and coquette.

Without a doubt the most amazing, inspiring and breathtaking shop out there. I love Christmas and I’ve shopped in stores all over Europe. The Tinseltown Christmas emporium is right up there with quality and presence. I’m so impressed. I bought so many items I’ve not seen before.

This store... WOW! Such a beautiful experience! I got myself the most beautiful and unique Christmas ornaments, and I was so happy. The staff at the store are fantastic, they are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are not overwhelming at all to their customers and can read your minds if you would like help or not.
There are so many unique gifts and decorations. Great for stockings and home decor, I will definitely be going back.

The only somewhat negative thing I have to say about the store is that there isn't a lot of walking space. If you have a bag, it's better you leave it within your car before you get inside. You might bump into items and knock valuable items over. To give an idea... I had to side step through some aisles. I heard an older woman knocking items over, but regardless, the staff were not upset. They tended the older woman and made sure she was okay before checking to see if the items were broken (and nothing broke).

Besides that... please go! It's such a great store with so many goodies. Marie Antoinette is connected to this store, so you get a fun experience to see both stores.

Today I stopped by Tinseltown. If you love Christmas or anything to do with Christmas, you have to shop here. They have everything! They are colour-coded there by fashion type. I guess. they have vintage. It’s amazing ornaments stuffy’s. They have drink mixes. They have anything you can imagine. Check out the pictures I post they have an online store. It’s incredible. The staff is awesome. Just go go for the day and look around that you can’t walk out with buying something. It’s great.

Beautiful Christmas decorations! It’s amazing how they use every single space in the store while maintaining a structured sectioning by colour and type of decoration. The halls are tiny, but giving four stars would be unfair.

First time buying a suit with little to no knowledge on fitting. Peggy and Zain were amazing! Peggy knew exactly what I needed just by her extensive experience and expertise. My physique required minor adjustments in fitting and she was the only person in all the stores in Ottawa that understood my concerns and was able to adjust accordingly. Bought a wool suit the same day and for a fantastic price! Hidden gem location, staff and stock!

As a big guy, I do not normally enjoy shopping for clothes. Mainly because it can be hard to find clothes that fit. But, they had a ...wide (pun intended) selection of fashionable clothes for the large man. Manager Alan and his staff Alex & Ivan were incredibly helpful and a lot of fun to deal with. I will definitely be back.

So happy to have a George Richards in Red Deer. Before this store, I had to go to West Ed. The staff is friendly and very helpful, and I always find what I am after. It's a great store for those of us who can't find our sizes elsewhere.

They have a good selection but some of the staff need an attitude adjustment. If you don't like your job/dealing with the public, you probably should not be here, working in retail. This was not even a " good " experience.

I purchased a suit from a different store and was not satisfied so I walked in to Tip Top to see my options, met Sayed and his attention to detail was great and supportive, I ended up purchasing another suit from Tip Top and returned the first one from the other store.

I bought a suit from this store, and they operate without a manager on site. If you need to return or exchange an item, they’ll give you the classic line: “Come back when the manager is here.” Supposedly, the manager’s name is Barry, but I highly doubt he even exists.

I tried the suit properly, walked with it, sat with it, and decided to return it with everything intact: tags still on, perfect condition, unused. They refused to accept it.

Be aware before shopping here. If you want to avoid the headache, think twice. This seems to be the only store in Bayshore that doesn’t allow returns, even when the item is in perfect condition.

Worst experience ever! My husband and I went into the Kanata store this evening. We walked by the salesman and browsed for quite a while discussing things we may be interested in purchasing. We were not greeted, acknowledged or even got a nod!! Yes there were other customers trying on clothes but he could have at least said something like, “welcome, be with you in a few minutes” Nothing! When we had completely browsed the whole store he finally came over and asked what we were looking for today. We said that we were looking for a suit for my husband as father of the bride. He said, “ oh sorry about that for you guys hahaha”. Inappropriate, rude and insulting. Then he asked where the rest of the wedding party was?? By that point he obviously had decided that he wanted more than our sale. My husband turned to me and said, let’s get out of here, i don’t want to deal with this store. I agreed and we left. I immediately called my daughter to make sure her husband to be and 6 groomsmen bought their suits anywhere but Tip Top!! I will be sure to tell all of my friends how we were treated as well.

Tip Top is a wonderful place to shop for Men’s clothing and is a National Brand store with great quality & consistency. Very helpful & friendly staff to assist you with all your needs. Prices are reasonable, especially when you hit the sale events.

We needed help from Tip Top after one of our kids made a mistake with a product we bought. I spoke with Noah when I went in. He was very friendly and empathetic. He followed up quickly with us after needing to look into a solution, and we left happy customers that would be pleased to go back for future business.

I went in looking for injera and spices needed to make shiro. Tizita herself walked me through the whole process. I'll be back to get more of everything!

Wonderful shop, very kind welcoming people. I bought Teff flour, niter kibbeh and berbere spice from them. I didn't get injera this time, but it was so cool to see the ladies making it right there in the back.

Utterly and hopelessly disorganized.

After buying a few things from them during the summer, I placed an order for some mekelesha spice and gluten-free injera. They told me they'd phone when the items were ready. They didn't. But when I phoned them yesterday, they said they'd be ready in the afternoon, and I told them I'd be in either later in the day or tomorrow to pick them up.

When I arrived today, they told me they'd already sold both items. Thanks very much for wasting my time.

Tommy guns is the best. Great service. They treat you like a king. Quality haircut and attention to detail.

It’s more pricy than a regular place, but you get what you pay for in quality of haircut as well as the types of products they use, the head massage and hair washing, the hot towel on the face and beverage of your choice.

Just had a great haircut from Benj, she is very knowledgeable and was able to adapt the hair style I wanted to me perfectly. She doesn’t simply use basic techniques, she uses a lot of layering and scissors to blend the hairstyle. I would recommend anyone new to this barbershop to go with her.

The people working there were very unfriendly and they make you feel unwelcome. As for the food it was ok, the carbonara wasn't bad but the veil didn't taste good. I ordered a tiramisu for dessert but it was too sweet. My whole experience could've been way better if the staff was nicer.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food. The atmosphere is modern, bright and well decorated. Every single pasta dish was a pure delight. The aroma and flavour were quite present. The service was excellent as they were very attentive to our requests. The pistachio gelato was a must, imported directly from Italy.

Terrible experience!! The food is extra expensive for the quality and quantity. The service was mediocre, they were rushing us out of the restaurant to get other customers in, they did not respond to our requests when we needed utensils or parmesan. The spaghetti bolognese looked like this, it tasted like a cafeteria meal, barely had meat in the sauce and was 28$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would not recommend. Also almost no vegetarian meals

Great place for Italian in downtown Ottawa. The food is delicious. I have come here for the last 15 years and have never been disappointed. Service is kind and efficient. The atmosphere is elegant, modern and fun.

We recently returned from an incredible trip to Portugal and Poland, and our travel agent (Melanie Seawright) made the entire experience seamless from start to finish. Everything ran smoothly — from flights to transfers — and the hotels and accommodations were excellent. The excursions included in our itinerary were well-organized, enjoyable, and gave us a great taste of each destination. Professional, attentive, and detail-oriented service made our vacation truly stress-free and memorable. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a full service! travel agent, Transat Bayshore is it! More specifically Melanie S. Melanie is very knowledgeable and thorough. On our previous trip, I had issues when pre-boarding my flights (mobility issues). This time Melanie contacted Air Canada directly and made sure they were aware that pre-board was required. Everything went smoothly. We are definately returning customers.

Everything is close. Preferred quests is the way to go. Great food. Hotel room is very close to the ocean. Entertainment needs to improve but loved that it started at 8:30.

Melanie was excellent, very helpful and professional! We will definitely be going back to see her for future travels.

Went with a friend for drinks and a bite before Bluesfest and sat outside on the upper deck. Alex was our server, perfectly attentive and friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We had the Nigroni and Apreol Spritz which were tasty and refreshing. To eat, we both got Cesar salads and shared the bruschetta and fried zucchini. We were also served complimentary fresh baked bread with butter. All the dishes were excellent, and I am looking forward to returning soon.

Service was excellent. I asked for tomato sauce instead of cream sauce which was not a problem, however, the sauce tasted like it came from a jar.

First and probably last time at this place. The atmosphere was great food as well only thing it was kinda bland you would definitely expect more from an italien restaurant. The wine was great and had a big variety. Here is what we had: Gamberetti Cognac(excellent) Insalata alla Cesare (excellent) Vitello Piccata(chicken had a light taste everything else was plein) Vitello Parmigiana(not bad but could’ve had less sauce on the chicken as it made it a bit soggy). What we really dislike was the service! We had reservations got there was seated a first serve came she gave us the menu. Then another one came with water and said she would be back for our order. We waited 15-20min she kept avoiding us i went to see the manager and told him. He’s the one that took our order (entre and wine) then said he would get her she came back retook our order plus our main course. Got our entre maybe 15min after(which she mixed up) then she never came back had to flag her down to ask for our main course after waiting about 1hour. Really was the worst. We felt like she just didn’t want to serve us people who got there after us had already been served everything.

Can't believe it took so long for my first visit to Tratorria Caffè Italia, and I was not disappointed. Unpretentious and casual, our food was delicious and primo. Very impressive wine cellar catering to all wallets (lol). The owner is very nice and attentive, as were his staff. Can't wait to visit again.

Wonderful food, eye-pleasing presentation, and ample portions. I've used Traversy Custom Catering for a funeral luncheon for 60, a sit-down baptism luncheon for 17, and a number private dinners for three-four persons .. when I wanted something spectacular like rack of lamb or beef Wellington. I have also been a delighted guest at a number of large-scale dinners catered by Traversy Custom Catering and felt totally "catered to". Chef is attentive to his client's wants, needs and budget. There can't possibly be anyone better.

We had an amazing experience with Traversy Custom Catering for our wedding. We chose to do a buffet style for 150 people and we’ve heard nothing but amazing feedback on the food. The best part for me personally was that the full set up of all tables, chairs, linens, dish ware, glassware, etc., was all included. We also did our own bar, but the caterers provided the bartenders and full bar service. Absolutely exceeded expectations!

We had a wonderful experience with Traversy Custom Catering for a cocktail event for approximately 50 people. From selection of menu items, prompt responses and quotes from Robert, banquet setup and takedown with Angela, they are really the full package for a no-stress event. Shawn is a thoughtful chef whose inspiration comes from what he feels are the best seasonal ingredients, and he even threw in chocolate covered strawberries as he saw that we didn't have dessert items. Highly recommend for special events.

I first met Mandy at the Ottawa Wedding Show in April 2023. From our first conversation, I knew I had found someone special for our wedding cake. Her cakes were not only stunning but also reasonably priced, and I appreciated that she could accommodate gluten allergies with cupcakes on the side. But beyond that, what really stood out was her warmth and down-to-earth nature. After meeting so many vendors, I remembered her, and ten months later, I reached out to have her create our three-tier wedding cake (vanilla and earl grey). I'm so glad I did — she was very responsive and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Our wedding cake was as delicious as it was beautiful.

Mandy is absolutely amazing! She made the cake for my sister’s 30th birthday, and wow—it tasted incredible! She also got the color exactly how I wanted it (emerald green, my sister’s favourite colour☺️), which honestly shocked me because it was perfect. Her customer service is top-tier; she responds so quickly, and the whole process was so smooth. On top of that, she’s just such a lovely person! Talking to her felt like chatting with a friend I had known for years. I 100% recommend her—you won’t be disappointed!

Mandy is amazing! The cake turned out exactly how I wanted — same color, same design, absolutely perfect. Was involved in an accident on Sunday...hit by another driver...she got service from her insurance...Intact in 10 mins...while I stayed on hold for 30 minutes without getting anyone...tried calling again 3 times....so make sure to have your accident during their business hours otherwise you are screwed!! Not impressed!

First of all, lovely designs and original creations. What truly sets this store apart is the customer service. I received these earrings as a gift and love them. One day I was about to put them on and dropped one. I was heartbroken to see it shatter. I reached out to the store and spoke with them about a repair or replacement.

The person who bought these went to the store with the broken earring expecting to leave it so they could assess whether it could repaired. Imagine our surprise when they handed us a brand new earring. I was so grateful to have been given a new earring to replace the broken one.

I bought an engagement ring last year and later on the wedding bands here. The service was absolutely amazing. Alex was incredible; I had an urgent request for the engagement ring and he went out of his way to make sure it was ready. He also provided guidance on which wedding bands were most suitable for our needs and budget. Super friendly service from everyone else as well. I couldn't be happier with the results, 100% recommendable.

A really pleasant surprise inside the hotel – definitely not your typical hotel restaurant. Very comfortable place with high-quality products and super friendly staff. The potatoes were perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft inside, absolutely delicious. The butter chicken is highly recommended, and the sandwich was to die for!

This has become a yearly staple when we visit Ottawa. The food is wonderful and the prices are very fair for the area. Good comes out quickly but the quality doesn't suffer for the speed.

The atmosphere is great and the staff is attentive and helpful.

My partner and I had an amazing time during our Valentine’s Day dinner at Tulip. Their creative and unique approach to the way they create their dishes was outstanding. Each appetizer, entre and desert were well-plated, delicious, and unlike anything we’ve had before.

The service itself was incredible as our server was very personable and friendly while being highly attentive to our requests. Whilst the food was coming out at a slower pace than most other restaurants, it’s understandable due to how much time and effort goes into creating the dishes.

The restaurant itself had a great ambience and was well decorated, but did not feel as intimate due to the open-front that faced the hotel lobby.

With all of this being said, the experience itself was amazing and is something to remember. I would definitely come back as the overall value, service, and the amazing food is worth every penny.
