Had the best mini vacay here. Beautiful, immaculately clean, private hot tub overlooking forest. You can tell the owners take great pride in ensuring you have a wonderful stay. Also within walking distance to local amenities. We will definitely stay again!

An absolute gem! The room was so cute, fully stocked, clean and very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was bright and clean. The back deck/yard with the hot tub was an added bonus - the hot tub was 103, clean and set in a peaceful nature backdrop. The staff here are so helpful and friendly - from booking, to arrival and the quick tour, to check-out (and leaving a phone behind).

We will definitely be booking another stay here in the near future. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

What a gem of a place to spend a weekend. Wakefield is a lovely town, Lucie is an incredible hostess, and the inn is amazing. The rooms are very clean, beds & pillows are super comfortable, and in spite of 5 rooms being booked, we never heard any noise. The kitchens are well equipped and the Sumatra coffee was delicious. Private hot tubs were the finishing touch to an amazing stay. Will be back!

We had an impeccable stay at Belle de Nuit in the Paris room. The room was extremely clean and well-equipped with all the kitchen needs. Lucie greeted us and was very personable and lovely. She thought of everything one needs to make the stay luxurious. The little things add up like the shoes to use on your way to the hot tub and the little chocolates with your coffee. We will be back hopefully sooner rather than later. Thank you, Lucie!

I’m not a huge fan of Italian cuisine but the tasty food that came out of this place, knocked it out of the park. The pasta was amazing. The calamari fritti was crispy and light. It was paired with an amazing sauce that my partner and I could not stop eating. The fresh complimentary bread was great but when it was paired with their spicy olive oil, it really elevated the bread. All dishes are made to order. The service was amazing. The waiter we have was very knowledgeable about the food and took their time helping us decide a dish. I’m coming back here for sure. Thank you for the meal and service!

Biagio's is such a hidden gem! I have been here a couple times with my husband and each time the service has been amazing and the food delicious! We love their 4 cheese pizza and their cocktails. Our server is always really nice. We'll keep coming back for sure

“Unbelievable” I’ve truly been missing out not taking in Biagios more often. Over their 30years of existence. Recently arrived there for dinner after a golf game with two other couples and everyone was thoroughly impressed; front of house, service, selection, wine & price. Definitely 5 Star rating

The food was so good! Maybe the best calamari I have had in years! Well organized so that we were on-time for the comedy show downstairs! We will be back soon!

I recently visited this Italian restaurant with high expectations, and while the food was delicious, the service and ambience fell short.

The pasta dishes we ordered were cooked to perfection, and the kalamari was crispy and flavorful. The tiramisu dessert was also a highlight - creamy and decadent.

However, the ambience was a bit noisy, making it difficult to carry on a conversation. But the biggest letdown was our server, Meghan. She was overly pushy and rushed us throughout the meal, trying to clear the table even when we weren't finished. It felt like she was eager to end her shift, rather than providing attentive service.

I’m usually not a fan of shopping (like, ever), but my visit to Lavigueur Bijouteries totally changed that. I went in just looking for my first watch (which I ended up buying—it’s absolutely gorgeous and I’m kind of obsessed with it). The staff were so friendly and welcoming, answering all my questions without making me feel rushed or awkward.

One of the sales associates was especially awesome—super sweet, easy to talk to, and made the whole thing feel really chill. She even upsold me a pair of diamond earrings (I didn’t need them, but now I love them). I honestly left the store in a good mood, which is not how shopping usually goes for me.

Definitely planning to go back. Big thanks to the team at Lavigueur for making my first watch purchase feel special!

I was in need of a silver coloured watch and checked out Lavingueur's website, seeing they had a few that I really liked. Both clerks were very helpful and they had a great selection. Several brands were 30% off, so I bought 2 watches. Very happy with this jewellery store.

Needed to get the battery replaced on my watch and heard through a friend that they can do this. Went in and was immediately served. Both employees working were very friendly and when I was told how it would cost to replace the battery, I was surprised how reasonable the price was. Only waited around five minutes for the change of batteries, paid and was on my way.
The service was fantastic and I will be recommending them to family and friends going forward.

Our experience here was very pleasant, i came in to buy a ring for my husband, and i went back and forth between rings for what seemed to be an eternity! I couldn’t choose between all their amazing variety of rings. Melissa, the lovely worker that helped us out, had incredible patience for the amount of times i thought back to another ring. So grateful for her help! Excellent customer service. 💯

Jinu is one of the best that I met while finding the perfect ring that suits my liking and budget. I cam here a couple of times as I was thinking of which one is the best for me and she was very patient and accommodating.

Such a beautiful museum! Great for photos, events and even a day out. There are picnic tables so you can bring a packed lunch and enjoy with your family. We enjoyed also learning about the estate. It is well maintained and clean

Christmas tea service was amazing! The estate was beautifully decorated and created such a festive environment. The tea and food were absolutely delicious! My family and I are already discussing visiting again next year. Also - the staff members provided top quality customer service! Highly recommend visiting.

Had a lovely time here for Tea on the Lawn! They served up some delicious tea, chosen from many tempting flavours. Also had finger sandwiches, scones, Devon fresh cream and jam, also other delectable chocolate desserts. Just delicious! Great service and overall a very enjoyable guest experience 😃. Beautiful little museum / house near Billings Bridge. The community of Billings Bridge has been named after the occupants of this house. Bradish Billings and family were instrumental in shaping their community.

I recently had tea at the estate. I was very disappointed. It would help if the hostess was appropriate dressed and could give a welcome and a little bit of history honouring the wonderful people that lived there. The tent curtains were ripped, the cups and saucers didn’t match and the food was not fresh and tasty. I will not bring guests again.

We had our wedding at Bleeks and Bergamot in July 2025 at their beautiful new Riverside Venue and had the best experience! Bailey was an absolute star from the beginning, very helpful and considerate, always taking the time to answer my never-ending questions. The venue takes care of so many things that made planning a wedding so much easier - they even did our florals! Christine, our day-of-coordinator was also great and helped ensure everything went smoothly leading up to and on the big day. They truly do everything they can to ensure your special day is how you envision it. We would definitely recommend having your wedding here, you won't regret it!

We managed to snag the last date available at this venue for 2024 due to a cancellation from another couple and we are SO happy we did. Bailey and her team at B&B are absolutely phenomenal. Their communication leading up to our wedding and during our planning was impeccable. They always responded within 24 hours and answered all our questions. We felt confident that things would be well handled. Unfortunately, we had some on and off rain during our wedding day and Bailey and her team actually moved the chairs for our ceremony between the inside and outside area THREE times between rain showers before finally settling on having an outdoor ceremony when the rain stopped. They were readily available with umbrellas and everything we needed. They managed a lot of the coordination day of, and reduced a lot of our stress! The venue is absolutely beautiful, so if you’re considering this venue do yourself a favour and book it! You won’t regret it!

Bailey also did our wedding bouquets, boutonnières and arch pieces. The bouquets were EXACTLY what I wanted. The colour palette matched perfectly, and all the floral pieces were breathtaking.

What a beautiful location to host an event. At first glance, the corn field kind of hid it's location but once you got back to the facility, it was absolutely amazing. Hosts were super sweet and very easy to talk too. They provided games for our event. They also had a bar and very clean/well kept bathrooms. Highly recommend if your looking for a vendor

We had our wedding here middle of October and only have good things to say! Bailey and Rebecca were amazing and super helpful through out the whole process with recommendations and suggestions for all of my questions! Having the bridal suite and grooms area is a huge bonus for day of getting ready. So many of our guests commented on how stunning the venue was!
Will definitely be suggesting the venue to all our friends and family in the future. And hopefully will be back in 10 years for a vow renewal!

Our wedding at Bleeks and Bergamot was a dream come true!

Communication with Bailey and Rebecca leading up to our day was so simple, putting any of our worries at ease. We felt we were in excellent hands every step of the way. We especially loved that there were no hidden fees for every little thing, something we encountered at many other venues. Right away, Bailey provided us with a lot of information, making it easy to find our other vendors.

We had many opportunities to see the venue prior to our day, which helped to build excitement and envision our day.

The bridal suite is the perfect place for getting ready with your girls. Being adjacent to the creek made it the perfect spot for our first look photos as well as photos with our immediate family. We didn't have to worry about guests seeing us as they arrived since this property is down the road from the main venue.

The layout of the main property is fantastic. Our guests still rave about how fantastic our venue was and how everyone felt a part of the crowd no matter if they were on the dancefloor or enjoying a conversation. For the crowd that wanted quiet area to chat, the courtyard provided the perfect space. With the 5 large barn doors open, it still felt like everyone was in one space, which was especially important to us.

We can't thank Bailey and Rebecca enough for all that they did to make our dream day come true!

I am extremely disappointed with the so-called birthday gift I received today from your flower shop for my 35th birthday. What I got was nothing but a bunch of cheap, thoughtless items thrown together at the last minute. There was no care, no creativity—just pure disappointment.

One of the sets was a chocolate basket with no production date, no brand, no information at all—something even Dollarama could do better than this garbage.

My husband was so excited for me to receive this gift. He actually chose three different sets, and when I opened it, I could hardly bring myself to tell him that I wasn’t smiling at all. My heart sank even more when I found out this pile of junk cost nearly $200.

This is absolutely unacceptable. You completely treated your customer like a fool. If I could, I would absolutely demand a refund! I would never recommend your store to anyone. You ruined my 35th birthday.

Do not order from this company they are complete scam artists.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent order I placed through Bloomex. I paid 122.00 for a flower arrangement for my best friends mothers funeral that was not only overpriced but also incomplete. Upon delivery, it was immediately clear that half of the flowers listed in the original order were missing.

I have contacted Bloomex multiple times regarding this issue and was either ignored or misled with false promises that someone would get back to me. As of today, I have yet to receive a legitimate response, resolution, or refund.

It is unacceptable for a company to take payment for a product and then fail to deliver what was promised—both in quality and in service. The fact that my follow-up concerns were disregarded makes this experience even more disappointing. Businesses that operate this way damage consumer trust and should not be in business if they cannot uphold basic standards of honesty and reliability.

Avoid this place at all costs. Save yourself the frustration and money. This business should not be operating — they do not honor their promises and clearly don’t care about customer satisfaction.

Bloomex is deceptive. They do not uphold what they have said and agreed to. They said "yes" but yet they will not follow through.

This is not the first time with Bloomex. I will no longer order from Bloomex.

I ordered on May 12 as a belated Mother's Day flower delivery to Scarborough, ON.

The address was correctly stated and recorded.
Paid for 100 blooms of orchids.
Paid for $19.99 same day delivery.

Delivered to 2350 instead of 2330 -- wrong address.
Delivered 15 tulips instead of 100 blooms of orchids (claimed same value)
Not delivered properly and it was the resident of 2350 who finally returned it.

The bouquet was delivered to 2350 instead of 2330. Completely different building altogether. Same unit number but different building. It was recorded at the security desk that they went to the wrong building.

The agents did not want to rectify anything and kept trying to convince me that they delivered it and had a photo. I had to

That was Monday.

I kept trying to get in touch with them and it was only on Friday May 16 that I finally received $40 store credit.

Then to make up to my mother, I ordered another bouquet, adding money to create a bigger bouquet to ensure my mother is no longer upset at the 15 tulips that was sent on Monday.

Then today I have photos from my parents that it was again a mixed bouquet.

I ordered 100 Blooms of Alstroemeria
delivered was a mixed bouquet with 7 or so blooms of alstroemeria.

This is lying, deceptive, fraudulent, and dishonest. If I had wanted a bouquet of daisies, I would not have paid $69.99 for it, plus $19.99 for delivery.

I have now been waiting for someone to be in touch with me on chat and I have been ignored by 3 agents now.

I want to report them but don't know where would be most effective.

It is not about getting money back but they simply are not doing business honestly.

The flowers I received looked nothing like the ones I ordered — completely different in color, arrangement, and overall presentation. It was a disappointing surprise, especially since the product I selected was clearly advertised and paid for.

Despite my initial hesitation about ordering from this company, I received a phone call from their team encouraging me to complete my purchase. As an incentive, I was promised an “extra” — such as candies or chocolates — if I placed the order. Trusting their word, I went ahead.

Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The order arrived late, and the promised “extra” was missing. When I contacted customer service, I was met with an unhelpful and dismissive response. The representative stated there was nothing they could do about the missing item and ended the conversation abruptly by asking if I had any other questions.

Eventually, I was offered a store credit, but this feels like an empty gesture — I have no desire to order from this company again after such a misleading and poorly handled experience.

This kind of service reflects a lack of accountability and care for customer satisfaction. I sincerely hope management reconsiders how they handle situations like this and takes steps to make it right for future customers.

It turns out today I received a delivery from Bloomex for Mother's Day. I was in the middle of ordering from their site when I got my delivery! I absolutely love the bouquet of Calla lilies. They are so stunning! This was my first time ordering from this website, and I was a bit confused at first while navigating to checkout. It didn't take long to figure it out, though, and place my order, and everything went very smoothly. I will definitely use this site again in the future. I ordered the half dozen assorted roses in a mason jar deluxe.

One of my favorite place in the Glebe area, stepping into the store always gives me a calm and relaxed feeling, the store smells so good too and they put a lot of effort into making the store experience truly delightful and welcoming for every customer.

I popped in this store with my friend today! I love all the plants, bouquets and the unique decoration pieces! A must to visit floral arrangements store in Ottawa! So many great options to choose as a gift for loved ones! I am a plant lover and will definitely visit the store sometime soon. 🌹🌺💐

Bloomfield's created the perfect floral and greenery displays for my daughter's wedding to transform the NCC River House into a magical space. Virginia worked closely with my daughter in advance to understand her vision for a flower fairy wedding and captured her ideas exquisitely. On the day of the wedding, Virginia was on-site personally to deliver and set up the displays and ensure it was perfect.

We cannot recommend Bloomfield's highly enough, nor thank their staff enough for going above and beyond during a recent order. Last month their florists prepared a GORGEOUS spring bouquet for a celebration of life service - it was love in a vase! We were touched not just by their amazing skill and quality of the flowers, but by the care with which they prepared the arrangement and provided thoughtful customer service in a time of grief. My husband and I picked up a small vase of flowers this past Saturday (March 15) for our anniversary.

The arrangement is beautiful but the quality of the flowers were not great. In less than 4 days, many of the flowers had wilted. Photos of the arrangement are from today (March 18).

I love purchasing flowers from Bloomfields for special occasions and in the past arrangements have always lasted at least a week if not a lot more.

It's disappointing to receive such a low quality product from a shop that normally does not disappoint.

Will probably look at other florists for future purchases.

Very easy to go in and create your own bouquet from their selection of flowers within your price range. I always stopped by here to pick up some flowers and grab a bagel nearby in my way to visiting my mum in hospital. Staff are incredibly friendly and their seasonal decoration selection is great to look through as well!

Bloomfields is my go to florist in Ottawa. They always have the most beautiful arrangements and the service is fantastic. I have purchased flowers/plants from them on several occasions and they have been very consistent. The last event I had was my engagement party and my guests loved the arrangements so much they asked to take them home!

Bloomfields saved the day for my friend’s 40th birthday! I ordered with less than 24 hours’ notice after another shop failed to deliver.

I'm a musician and I was performing at a party for my friend! The hall was big and luxurious. The sound was good, no noise. Only the electrical inputs were old and in need of repair.

I did my wedding invitations with Blueberry invitations and it was absolutely beautiful! 😍 Julie was so quick to respond to any questions I had and was so open to any requests that I had. Amazing post purchase support. We purchased a dining room set 4 years ago from Blueprint Home. Recently we discovered a crack in the chair frame under the seat. Even though the manufacturer denied any warranty the store owner Jane made it right and replaced the chair with a new one at no cost to us. Never expected that but she exemplifies Customer Service to the max. Thanks Jane!

We went into Blueprint Home to see what furniture offerings they had available since we just moved into a new house and needed to furnish it. We loved that it's a local store and we try to support local in our purchases whenever possible.

The team at Blueprint Home was absolutely great! Karrie and Kim were very knowledgeable and helpful when we explained to them what we were looking for. We could tell that they are passionate about what they do and actually care about providing excellent service to their clients. We ended up buying a Lind leather couch and love seat for a good deal. We ordered them in July and we were expecting to receive them at the end of November, but the shipment arrived early November instead. It was a pleasant surprise! The white glove delivery experience was amazing and we're very content with our overall experience with Blueprint Home. We're planning on going back to get more furniture and decor there in the future. We highly recommend them!

I had a great experience with every step at Blueprint. I visited the store in person before buying - it's a beautiful store to check out and the staff was really helpful in showing me different options while I was bed shopping. I eventually ordered my Gus Modern bed by email/phone which was quick and easy, and delivery was done with great communication.

The bed is fantastic in our space (especially love the headboard height) and it's super comfy to lean on to read. It's sturdy and I'd definitely recommend it.

I also picked up some decorative pillow shams while I was in store for a gift - Blueprint carries fabulous decorative pillows that are actually big enough to have some presence and super comfy to lean into on the couch (no sad little throw pillows here).

It is always a pleasure going to Blueprint Home, even if just to browse. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the store is always nicely merchandised. The owner, Jane, is very knowledgeable and extremely customer service oriented. I can always count on her for furniture advise and guidance.

I had a couch delivered and the delivery team kept in touch to let me know when to expect my delivery. When they arrived, they placed the couch where I wanted it to go, unwrapped it and ensured I was happy before they left.

All in all, a great experience. BTW....I love my couch!

Last year I moved from Toronto to Ottawa and Blueprint home is my new go-to for all things furniture + decor. I absolutely love the store, the ever changing display and the incredible selection. My first purchase was a Richmond Sofa which I had delivered and it fits into my living room beautifully. Since then I have been constantly inspired by the groupings in the store which led me to my next purchase: a beautiful modern grey rocking chair. It pairs perfectly! I cannot say enough good things about Blueprint. The service is excellent and the furniture is equisite.

I walked in on Mother’s Day close to 1PM, not sure what to expect as there was a bit of a lineup ahead of me. Nothing was available and so they asked if I was okay with waiting 15 minutes for their florist to create a bouquet. They took down my name and number and then showed me around, what flowers they had available, and asked what price point I was thinking which I thought was very considerate. Their studio space is cozy, and I was able to wait on their terrace space where they keep their potted outdoor plants. I also picked up a bunch of Eucalyptus, which is sold by weight. The bouquet their florist designed was gorgeous, and wrapped with care. Appreciative that they were able to make something so beautiful on the spot. My Mom loved them. Will definitely consider Blumenstudio for future arrangements.

These guys are amazing! I hired this company for DJ services for both ceremony and reception, and a photo booth for my wedding on October 8.

Communication was always very fast and clear. They arrived at the event on time, set up on time, and kept the flow of the event going. The dance floor was busy, the photo booth with props was an absolute hit, and they couldn’t have been nicer guys!

The people who work here go above and beyond! I had to get a gift for a friend on short notice and I called to inquire about shipping times. The person I spoke with told me to just click for pick up and personally dropped it off at my house to avoid shipping fees and to make sure I got it in time! They were so lovely and kind. Bogie + Birdie is a delightful shop with unique gifts and charming finds! Went there last weekend during my trip to Ottawa. This was my first visit to BossArts, and I had the pleasure of getting my hair cut by Rebecca. I have thick, curly hair, and she did an amazing job-shampooing, conditioning, cutting, and diffusing it perfectly. I really appreciated how she understood my curls and brought out their natural shape. I left feeling extremely happy with how my hair turned out!

I have really thick and hard to style hair and have had so many bad experiences with stylists that have otherwise good ratings. I reached out to BossArts after hearing good reviews from thick hair girlies and the salon asked me for pics before pairing me with Rajaa. She took a full hour just with the cut then gave me a great blow out. I’ve spent years avoiding haircuts and I think this was the best I’ve ever had. Rajaa is a serious expert. Adding a before pick and two after - but they really don’t do justice to how much healthier and bouncier my hair looks.

Rajaa is amazing! She’s done multiple cuts, styles, and balayage for me, and she nails it every time. I spent years bouncing between salons, but I finally found my stylist!

The salon is always clean and well-run, and I love how easy it is to book. I also notice other clients leaving happy after every visit, which says a lot!! Plus, the social media is a great touch—I was able to check out Rajaa’s work in detail before booking. Highly recommend!

I have never been to a curly hair specialist and so when I came across Amy’s instagram, I decided to bite the bullet. Let me just say that I am so happy I chose her to cut my hair. She is so knowledgeable and was able to cut and shape my hair while maintaining length like I asked. I’ve never been so happy with a haircut! This place is a bit pricey but it is so worth it :)

My friends and I were window shopping on Monday August 11th and were curious as to where the staircase next to Boutique 1861 would lead to. We soon learnt that it lead to Boudoir 1861, the bridal sister shop of Boutique 1861. We arrived close to closing time, but the two female staff were very kind and accomodating. Upon entering my eyes kept wandering to one of the dresses on a mannequin. The staff help in making sure it fit well and suited my needs, which convinced me to make the purchase. Thank you again for the friendly and welcoming customer service! Especially as a younger group it was greatly appreciated.
