Morgan was such a delight to work with and we're so grateful for everything she did to make our wedding day dreams come true. She executed our vision flawlessly and the design turned out absolutely perfectly. I felt she did a great job helping us balance our budget and making it go as far as possible. She was a very calming presence to have around and encouraged us not to stress leading up to the event. And she looked after us in so many small but thoughtful ways - for example, placing a fan behind our table so we wouldn't get hot during dinner, delivering our bouquet to the preservationist. She nailed every single one of my requests and helped pull off every detail. I'd highly recommend working with her!
I also was glad she was part of LFW - the company overall has deep relationships and respect from other vendors and from venues (ours was Chateau Lake Louise) so that made so many things so much easier. And their team is able to support each other when people get sick or injured - we always felt supported knowing there was a team behind them.

As my husband and I set out to plan our wedding in Banff, we knew it would come with some challenges and nuances since we are not locals to the area and have never planned an international wedding. That’s when we decided to call in the experts at LFW, and we had the pleasure of working with the one and only Lynn Fletcher herself. It’s hard to really put into words how great of an experience it was working with Lynn and LFW. Probably the best way to convey the experience was a “feeling of safety”; a feeling of being taken under someone’s wing, knowing your best intentions are being looked out for.

In the year leading up to our wedding, Lynn took the time and care to understand who we were as people, and, more importantly, as a couple. Each meeting felt like a casual conversation about what we had in mind, and when we struggled to fill in the details Lynn was there to take us the rest of the way. She took our design and transformed it into something we never thought possible. She provided truly expert insight on things we knew (and still know) nothing about. We appreciated the level of attention to detail her professional lens brought to the process. It was like working with your best friend who has thrown events you only dream of attending. We put our trust in her…and we are so glad we did.

She was our protector on our wedding day. She carved out little moments throughout the day to check in on us, and made sure that we didn’t get wrapped up in all the stress that usually comes with weddings, but instead made sure we could truly enjoy it. One thing she did that I truly loved was revealing the reception to us alone while our guests were enjoying a happy hour in another room. All three of our faces (mine, my husband and Lynn’s) lit up with joy and excitement as we reflected on what a years worth of planning brought us.

Through our relationship in planning, we built trust with each other. We knew that things would turn out exactly as they should because Lynn was on top of it. Reflecting on the amazing day, one thing was immediate from both Travis and I; that we felt so taken care of on our day…and that made it even more special.

We cannot recommend Lynn and her team enough - if you’re even considering booking LFW, just do it. We can attest you won’t regret it.

I went to several boutiques following my original appointment at Ma Cherie Bleue but nothing came close to the experience, service, knowledge, care, styles of dresses, quality of dresses, prices and honesty.

What an outstanding experience. I felt SO welcomed and special there, Connie and Nathalie made the time there so outstanding and truly went above and beyond. I couldn't have asked for a better first wedding dress try-on. Every detail, from the beautiful decor in the salon, to the time spent sharing all of the designers collections with us, to the attention to every single detail, I was amazed. They made me feel so special, beautiful, and cared for. I could go on and on, and I can't recommend Ma Cherie Bleue enough.

What an amazing experience! My sister (the bride) felt so seen and heard. Connie was incredible. She explained each designer and the kind of dress they make. She gave amazing advice and pulled great choices based on what my sister had picked out.
There are so many beautiful dresses to pick from and Connie was so helpful with trying them on and giving pep talks. It is INCREDIBLE how inclusive their sizes are (for bigger girls like us, this shop had most in a 10&12, so you could actually see how they fit. And they have a nice selection mini dresses for other bridal events as well as bridesmaids dresses.
They had tea and water. They let you try on as many as you want (even going over the time limit with us because they had the space). They let you take pictures. They are amazing.
Out of all the stores we’ve been to, this has been by far the best. I will compare all other bridal store experiences to this one. 10/10!!

Absolutely wonderful customer service and amazing selection! This was the first store I went to for my bridal gown and they were so helpful, I found my dress after just a few tries!
I chose the Ophelia dress, custom-made to my size. It was light-weight and comfortable, perfect for an August wedding, and it looked great in all the photos! I would highly recommend Nathalie and her team to help you find your dream dress!

I had the absolute best experience at Ma Chérie Bleue, after having had several other appointments at other bridal boutiques. I would recommend this boutique to every single bride to be.

The selection of dresses is vast, and they are all beautiful and of high quality. I found many unique dresses that I had not seen anywhere else.

All of the dresses are available to the client to see and feel, and the prices are indicated. While the person working with you will certainly help look for dresses based on your description, you can see every single dress and pick out yourself the ones you'd like to try on. Also, all the dresses are shown on the website, which is very helpful. It is also useful to note that some of the designers they carry allow you to modify your dress in production, which allows you to customize your dress but also to reduce the cost of your alterations.

The atmosphere is wonderful. You are alone in the boutique, which makes it feel cozy and intimate, and you can try on all the dresses you want. It is clear that the person helping you, as well as the owner, know what they're talking about and what they are doing and are truly motivated to help you.

The real gem of this boutique, however, is the owner, Nathale. I have never met anyone like her, and I would not want to buy such an important dress from anyone else. She has a friendly and very fun personality, but more importantly, she really knows dresses. She was able to help me customize my dress to make it fit my vision and my body. I couldn't possibly have more faith in someone for the job.

What Ma Chérie Bleue offers is a unique, personalized, fun and caring experience to find your perfect dress. They really care about your experience, they will go above and beyond to help you make sure your dress is just right for you and that you have everything you need to feel confident and secure when making your final choice. Again, I cannot insist enough on Nathale. She truly makes all the difference.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our wedding. Emilia was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. She has the most incredible eye for location, lighting, and positioning, and truly took the time to understand our vision and bring it to life. Before the big day, we did an engagement shoot with her, and she was just as excited as we were. She took us to the most beautiful spots—so perfect that we actually returned to one of them to share our private vows. That experience alone speaks volumes about how meaningful her work became to us.

On our wedding day, Emilia was everything we could have hoped for: timely, professional, warm, and full of confident, calming energy. She managed to capture every moment, big and small, and somehow made it look effortless—even though she was working solo! Emilia was absolutely incredible from day one of our wedding planning process. She was prompt, helpful, organized, and supportive, and went above and beyond her role as a photographer. She even helped us with other vendor recommendations and planning of our timeline. She also organized a second photographer, Erika, who was amazing as well and ensured that we could capture all aspects of our day. We received over 30 INCREDIBLE photos as a sneak-peek shortly after our wedding and the rest of our photos well within her quoted timeline. We were absolutely in love with every photo that we received and she truly captured the essence of our love and silliness. She went with the flow and adapted as we climbed out onto rocks and continued shooting through cold weather and snow storms. She helped coordinate our first look and even helped us include our beloved golden retriever for some pictures. She ensured to get every picture that was important to us as well as many others. Would recommend her to anyone for their wedding or event photography.

Emilia is an absolute photography wizard! As out-of-towners planning our destination wedding in Banff, we were clueless about how we wanted our photos to turn out. Emilia guided us with incredible expertise and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that our photos perfectly matched the theme of our ceremony. She also gave us a bunch of stunning locations to choose from for our wedding day and day after photos, an extra option she provides that we highly recommend!

What really impressed us was how comfortable Emilia made us feel being in front of the camera. Emilia has such a calm and warm demeanor that she quickly put us at ease and made it a fun and glamorous experience… with the energy she brought to the shoot, we felt like we were posing for GQ magazine! It was lively, energetic, and an absolute blast to spend time with her as she guided us into fantastic poses and let us cut loose so that our personalities shone through.

We did share a few ideas with Emilia, and she took the ball and ran with it, doing some research on her end to fully realize our vision. For reference, we were trying to achieve a sort of 1920s Speakeasy/Gatsby theme, and we feel that she absolutely nailed that vibe through and through. She saw the vision we were hoping to capture and brought it to life with great ease, and in ways that we could not have imagined. She made the most important day of our lives even more special by enhancing it beyond our hopes and dreams.

Emilia was incredibly caring and invested in capturing the special moments throughout our wedding day, but she also made sure that we were comfortable being ourselves. Before the day of the shoot, she spent a lot of time consulting with us to strategize all aspects of the photos. Everything from locations, down to the pairings with family and friend photos during and after the ceremony so that our time was being used efficiently on what is typically a super stressful day! She was patient with our indecisiveness and made us feel so at ease with the whole process! We highly recommend Emilia whether it be for wedding photos, engagement photos, or if you just want to get some wonderful family photos!

As two people who don’t feel very natural in front of a camera, she made us feel at ease instantly and provided the perfect amount of guidance while also letting us feel in the moment.

I had my makeup done by Sally for an event, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the start, she really listened and understood exactly what I was looking for. The final look was flawless , enhancing my natural features without feeling overdone.

We came in looking for a very specific business casual outfit for my partner and had the best experience. The shop owner really knew what sizes and cuts would work and we found the perfect outfit in under 30mins. So happy that we found this place after searching through the mall and the other menswear shop!

We used Mansour's in Dalhousie for our wedding and it was nothing but mistake after mistake. We went in looking for suit rentals for the groomsmen and a custom suit for the groom. The store is a distributor for Collins Clothiers, which is the actual suit rental company. On our first visit, the owner showed us both the catalogue and the swatches from Collins. There was one light brown colour and one dark brown. It was very clear that the browns were switched up - the light brown swatch was labelled as dark brown in the catalogue and vice versa. The owner told us to trust the swatches instead of the catalogue because "the photos can look different" despite us insisting that the colours were switched. That same visit, we looked through swatches for a suit for the groom and they didn't have any burgundy, which was what we wanted. The owner told us he would order some swatches and would call us when they came in. A few weeks later, we still hadn't received a call, so we called the store. The guy said he "lost our number" and that he would order the swatches. As if losing our number prevented him from ordering them in the first place. A week later, he called to let us know he had the swatches. We went in, and there was only one swatch. We didn't like the colour at all but we thought it might look alright if we could use the backside of the material. We asked him if we could and he said he would check for us. He called us back later to let us know that they didn't even have enough of that material to make a suit. At that point we went elsewhere for the groom's suit, he was just wasting our time. That same visit, we ordered the groomsmen's suits, and he showed us another swatch in a different book, and it was the same as the first swatch -- the colours were swapped compared to the catalogue. At this point I was worried that we had ordered the wrong colour so I called Collins directly, and they told me it was a known problem -- the catalogue was correct and the swatches were wrong but they had let all their distributors know so they could switch the swatches. Obviously this guy was oblivious, plus he gave us bad advice telling us to trust the swatches. A week later we get a call telling us we had to come in because he forgot to take the deposit for the suit rentals while we were there so we had to drive way up to the northwest to pay him. The guy said the suits would arrive on Monday or Tuesday (wedding was on Sunday) and that there was guaranteed to be there with enough time for alterations. We let him know that one of our groomsmen lives in Barrie and that he wouldn't be arriving until Saturday. There's a Collins Clothiers close to where he lives so he said that he would have that suit shipped to Barrie so the groomsman could try it on, then if he needed alterations, they could do it there and then ship it to Mansour's so the suit would be here waiting for him. The Monday before the wedding rolls around and all the groomsmen but the one from Barrie have received calls that their suits came in. They went into the shop to try the suits on (one of which fit so poorly that they needed to order a whole new suit for him, so there was no time for alterations and his pants didn't fit right) and one of the groomsmen asked if everyone had been in to try their suits on yet. The shop owner said no, they were still waiting for (name) and (name) to come in. One of those of course being the groomsman that lives in Barrie. He had failed to send the suit to Barrie like he promised. So he sent it to him but by the time it arrived there was no time for alterations so he didn't get to try it on until the morning of the wedding. The measurements were so far off that the pants were six inches short (pic). We tried to call them but they're closed on Sundays. Thank god there was enough hem, we ripped it out ourselves and fixed the pants but it made us late to the ceremony. Plus we only ordered pants, shirts, jackets, and ties but ended up receiving vests and suspenders as well; I get the feeling the owner deliberately did it to upcharge us.

Most incredible customer service I have ever received! I do not typically write reviews however this level of service cannot go unnoticed. I had rented a suit from a company in Ontario for my wedding in Banff and arranged to have it shipped to Mansours in Calgary. We had talked to Mike in advance about business hours and our arrival and he offered to stay open late to make sure we got the suit Friday before our drive to the mountains. Unfortunately we got caught up by the car rental company, we called Mike again to inform him and he was happy to stay open for the 2.5hours extra it took us to get there! Unbelievable! His only concern when we arrived was that the suit had everything I was expecting and that it was to my satisfaction. It was absolutely my pleasure working with Mansours and I cannot speak my praises loud enough. Thank you so much for the help Mike!

The owner is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He even came in when they were closed on Sunday to get everything sorted out the day of the wedding and again on Heritage Day so I could return my rental suit before the work week started. Highly recommend.

Cole did an amazing job officiating our elopement a couple weeks ago. We were blown away by how he thoughtfully integrated our favorite show, The Amazing Race, into his speech, personalizing it in such a meaningful way that reflected our journey and future together. My now-husband and I were truly impressed — we loved every minute of the ceremony. His words were inspiring, heartfelt, and emotional, leaving a lasting impression on us and our guests. We’re so grateful we hired a videographer to capture it all, so we can relive that beautiful moment again and again. Cole was warm, professional, and genuinely invested in making our ceremony personal and meaningful. He took the time to get to know us as a couple through his questionnaire, and it truly showed in the words he spoke on our special day.

Honestly, I think the best thing I can share about Cole was... everything? He made both the vows and wedding ceremony super easy to plan out, and he was all about our fun ideas! He sent a questionnaire and then added all these amazing personal touches to our ceremony. We had so many compliments on his work, and he made it seem like it was a friend of ours doing the ceremony.

Cole is literally the definition of the most perfect officiant.
The time and thought and customization he puts in to his ceremonies? Incomparable.
I mean this is the only time I’ve been married and the only time I plan to do it, but Cole stood out from the start, there was no other competition once I found him.
I honestly probably would have been prepared to change my wedding date had he not been available at that point.
Everyone raved about how amazing the ceremony was. I’m a nervous person and cried as soon as I started walking down the aisle. But the way Cole led the ceremony grounded me instantly, I felt so comfortable being up there and being able to focus in the moment with my now husband.
I lost my voice on my wedding day, but you wouldn’t have known with how smoothly the ceremony went because of Cole.
Cole, I don’t have the words to express my gratitude. Whenever we go ahead with a vow renewal I’ll be seeking you out, and of course I’ll be recommending you anyone that needs any officiant.

Thank you so much to Cole for the ceremony of a lifetime - we got married in Dec 2024 and he did an absolutely spectacular job! Our ceremony was pure magic. We received so much positive feedback that we had the best officiant from our guests. Some of our guests said it was the best ceremony they had ever been to which was the highest compliment and Cole is to thank for it! We were certain Cole was the best fit for us after our first meeting with him, and rave reviews about him from our other vendors. Cole takes time to customize your ceremony and make it unique to you as a couple. He went beyond the extra mile with us as we wanted to incorporate some Hindu elements into our ceremony - walking around a fire pit, putting on a traditional necklace as well as a unity candle lighting. Cole was so willing to work with us to make our vision a reality and helped us feel grounded throughout the experience. He is the best choice - through rain or shine, or in our case, snowfall. Thank you again - we will be sure to recommend Cole to any of our friends getting married!

Maximum DJ was really great from start to end. Rod is so nice and relaxed but detailed and always open to discussing more. The website is really helpful in getting organized and confirming all the right information. Keith was our DJ at our wedding. He was so lovely and relaxed and really skilled at switching between different genres including some 90s and 2000s millennial dance songs, Latin music, and those classic wedding songs. He kept our dance floor going all night for a pretty diverse crowd. Keith also helped keep a smooth schedule between our venue and the MCs. We received a lot of compliments from our guests! Thank you!

Maximum Music was fantastic, and very responsive before and after booking with them. Our DJ, JB was absolutely fantastic! It was a true pleasure having him be part of our big day. He kept the dance floor lively and fun all night long. He stayed in touch with us throughout the evening, and it was genuinely lovely chatting with him.

Thank you to Rod & DJ Gary for accommodating our wedding playlists and creating memorable moments on the dance floor. The team was detail oriented, laid back and accommodating. They even helped musicians with performances and the officiant and emcee with speeches. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great experience working with Maximum Music for our wedding at the Toronto Botanical Gardens. Rod was friendly and easy to work with. Rod has great automation in place to make sure that no milestones are missed which was especially helpful as we were managing our own wedding planning.

Randy was our DJ for the night and he was fantastic. The dance floor was full from when he started to when we had to close at 12:30pm , really the only negative aspect of our wedding was that we couldn't keep dancing all night. The energy was high and the vibes were great thanks to DJ Randy.

2:40 AM in the morning Sunday stampede week weekend I asked fresh fries. They told me to wait outside and then I got the fries which has so much oil. It looks like that it is dipped second time in the oil that’s bullshit and I can taste the oil in it. It was dipped second time if there is a supervisor sometime someone who can check the video Nobody made a fresh fries. They put the old fries in the oil and gave me back. Sunday stampede weekend at 2:30 or 240 that’s what time I ordered. I gonna find the receipt and put in the picture

Very accommodating. If you go through drive-through and need your food to stay warm while you take it back to the house, ask for it to be put in a delivery bag. It stays warm and sealed! They didn't hesitate to do it. Great great people

Mico was amazing! I could not recommend him enough! Mico was a vendor that I felt I could fully trust for our wedding day and he executed perfectly. He played bangers all night and read the room correctly which kept the dance floor packed for literally all night. We could not be happier with how it went and would book him 100X over. We also made some more difficult and very specific requests with our wedding party reception entrances and he nailed it exactly like I was hoping. He made the day so much more fun and was able to go with the flow when we had some last minute changes. He takes time to set up early and his speakers and lights were awesome. Naty did an amazing job taking some family portraits for us at Lake Louise. From the first time that I reached out to her she was so kind and helpful, and gave lots of great advice before our session too!

On the day of the shoot my family and I had so much fun with her and she knew all the good spots around the lake to get the best views with the least amount of people in the background. She was so wonderful with my toddler too! I absolutely love my photos and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer around Banff!

We had the best experience working with Naty — cant say enough good things about her! She’s incredibly accommodating and made the entire shoot feel so natural and easy. You can tell she really knows what she’s doing—she gave great direction without ever making things feel awkward. She’s also just a genuinely sweet, patient, and fun person to be around, which made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. We felt genuinely cared for during the whole process (especially recommending the best location for us). Did breakfast with my son. Cowboy omelette and he got an eggs and something breakfast. Only comment I had was food was under seasoned, but looking at the customer base I can see why. Make sure you ask for salt and pepper or use the table side stuff.

We have made Mike's our weekly spot! The food is always hot and tasty, leaving us full and satisfied. Atmosphere is great, not overwhelming. Mike is a great guy who makes sure his customers are happy and enjoying their experience. Our favorite server is also a delight and very attentive. The prices are great and portions large. Can't beat the weekly specials, we especially love the Friday and Saturday all you can eat options.

We came on a Tuesday night, Karaoke and Wings... Can't go wrong. The nostalgia level in this place is wild. Service was great and the people here as a general were very friendly. Stop by, enjoy the vibes and remember the good ol days. Oh, brisket bites, definitely go for the bites.

Stopped in at Mike’s Bar & Grill while passing through Strathmore and ended up wishing we lived closer! The food was top-notch — big portions, cooked perfectly, and packed with flavour. Service was friendly and fast, even during the dinner rush. The atmosphere was laid-back but lively, just what you'd want from a classic bar and grill. Cold drinks, great menu, and good vibes all around. Definitely a hidden gem — we'll be back next time we’re in town!

Cool little nostalgia place. Went for breakfast and was surprised that they have a buffet ($23). I had that and coffee ($3.50).

- French toast - I prefer soggy to firm, but that wouldn't keep as well.
- Pancakes.
- Scrambled eggs - Plain or with cheese bacon and peppers.
- Sausage - Super tasty, whatever the brand was.
- Bacon - It’s bacon.
- Tater tots - My preferred breakfast potato.
- Pierogies - With bacon and onion.
- Mac and cheese - Pretty mushy but very tasty comfort food.
Brisket (and brisket quesadilla) - This is their specialty, and it's pretty good, not too salty.

We rented candelabras from Modern Event Rentals for our wedding in Banff. The rental company in the Bow Valley was not able to provide the specific candelabra we wanted, so we are glad it worked out to rent from Modern Event Rentals. Macklynn very responsive and great to deal with via email. Cost-wise, the rental was comparable to other companies we looked at.

Hannah went above and beyond planning our wedding this August at Azuridge in Priddis. From the very beginning, she was completely dedicated to making every single wish of mine come true. She literally brought my Pinterest board to life in the most beautiful way. Hannah answered every call, text, and email immediately, no matter the time of day, and her hands-on approach made me feel supported and stress-free throughout the entire process.

Wow! What can I say about Mountain Beauties. The communication was excellent the entire time, compared to other companies I inquired with who took months to get back to me, if they did at all. We had wedding hair and makeup done by Andrea and Joanne. The makeup was perfect. Natural/soft glam that held up all night. Even after I jumped into the hottub at the end of the night, I went to go wash my makeup off later and it was still intact. They did our hair as well and again it stood intact the entire day until I got into the hot tub which naturally, the hot water did its thing. They were helpful, on time, had great recommendations, and were professional. Hand hygiene performed prior to application of makeup or touching hair. They also helped me with my bridesmaid dress as they had safety pins and have a guarantee that they can come help with touch ups or hair later in the day if something were to happen which thankfully nothing did. Would highly recommend.
