Get. The. Video. Package!! It is worth every penny! Michael was able to capture every precious moment! Our wedding day flew by and being able to look back on it means the world to us! Michael went above and beyond and made being recorded feel natural. He was fantastic to work with and I would recommend him to anyone!

Michael was incredible! From the moment we met Michael, he made us feel comfortable which made the whole experience easy. We felt relaxed which meant that our natural personalities were captured to a tea. Michael not only shot some incredible scenes, but he also guided us (when needed) to ensure he was able to capture the absolute best of us. And... he nailed it. The end result is nothing short of amazing and we can not thank him enough for capturing our 10 year wedding anniversary vow renewal ceremony in the mountains in Banff.

We were exceedingly happy that we engaged the services of Michael at Mountain Wedding Videos to capture all of the moments of our special day. Right from the start, we were impressed with Michael's professionalism and commitment, and the final videos we received were just so amazing.

We had an initial meeting with Michael when we engaged his services, where he asked what we were wanting our videos to capture, any specific requests, etc, and he explained his general style of video and how he generally operates. We were comfortable with him right from the start, and he was very good with communication leading up to the wedding.

Michael arrived promptly and full of energy on the day, and it was great fun having the camera there to capture moments from getting ready, to the ceremony, then capturing on video the process of having wedding photos done, and on to the reception, speeches, and fun and games afterwards. We feel that Michael literally captured all of the special moments of the day, and the final product had us feeling like we got to re-live the day again and again (as well as laugh at some of the moments that we didn't actually remember with the whirlwind of emotions and experiences all happening on the day).

Our final package included a 2-minute sneak peek summary of the day (which we received within 3 days of the event), a 15 minute video capturing the entire day, a full video of the wedding ceremony itself, then a 1 hour video of all of the reception speeches and some games that were played with everyone at the reception.

We are so incredibly happy with the work that Michael did for us, and we will be recommending Mountain Wedding Videos to anyone we know who is organizing a wedding. Our wedding day went by so quickly that we are happy that our memories are now preserved forever.

I just had my first sugaring on half legs. I was nervous due to bad experiences in the past with waxing. I have dark, coarse hair and slightly sensitive skin. Stephanie was awesome! She was thorough and detailed in her explanation of each step. Warm towels were applied after each side was done. Hardly any to no irritation or pain. I’m already booked for my next session and I’m having my armpits done too. Thanks Stephanie!

Got treated to the Dermaplaning by Stephanie. Never even knew this treatment existed till she informed me. My skin has never felt so naked, clean, and smooth. I can’t stop touching my face. Would defiantly recommend Stephanie for any of her treatments. Top notch service and knowledge.

Good little spot! It was very busy ( whole hockey team ) came in just after us so the drinks and burgers took a while. But they were delicious and worth the wait.

Origins brisket is the best in the greater Calgary area. 10/10 worth the drive out. Their beer comes from barley from a local farm so that's the best way to spend hard earned money, support local! Service is top notch. Short hair blond lady is an ALLSTAR.

There were no prices on the beer cooler but after asking server it is 4 pack is $17 … the pop that is made in Calgary in $4.50 …

Friendly staff, clean tables, delicious food. We had the flight of beers consisting of home/mexi/raspberry/scottish,
and all were delicious (recommend the home for light drinking and the scottish for the more robust connoisseur). Also ordered the Quarter section platter which was split between two people. 2 wings, 2 briskets, 2 chicken fingers and fixings/sauces/veggies. It came with the most DELICIOUS PICKLED ONIONS I've ever had. Combine the melt-in-your-mouth brisket with the pickled onions, some chives and the ranch sauce, and you've got THE most delicious appetizer known to humankind. Only reason there's a 4 star instead of a 5 star is the amount of food on the platter....a little bit light for the price. Otherwise fantastic place to visit. Please make more of those pickled onions. I could eat those for weeks and be quite happy. Give it a try, folks!

Stopped by on our way back to Calgary. Had a nice Gose and the atmosphere is relaxed and homey.
The bbq food truck is a great addition. They have different weekday deals and the service is great!
My only suggestion is to add non alcoholic beer to the menu!

This place has gone so downhill so we started to document the issues with pictures... We've gone in and sat for 15 minutes before being even noticed on multiple occasions. Then we went a couple weeks ago and at least half the tables sat with dirty glasses and dishes long after customers had gone. The bar was also covered in dirty glasses, the place looked like a total dive. There was maybe 5 tables of people there in total and yet service was incredibly slow because the girls were too busy gabbing than doing their jobs. All we came for that night was desserts, my ice cream showed up half melted. The waitress took it off the bill which was nice but it wasn't a busy night and there was no excuse for it to happen in the first place. Now last night we ordered out and the order of home cut fries we recieved was revolting, I'm not even sure how this got by as acceptable, they look like they were cooked in used motor oil. We love OJ's menu options but we're going there less and less

This is the 3rd time we have ordered from here and again, fish was burnt dark, dry and so hard on edges it was like gristle. Thought of returning, but decided it’s not worth the hassle. This place is tanking and there is no point. I remember when it first opened, everything was friggin delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. The fries also had spilled gravy on some, (asked for on the side), zero tartar sauce, etc. We figured some months between orders would make a difference, (maybe get a cook who takes pride in his work), but nope. I see reviews here that show this seems to be the norm now. Will not be returning. Sad.

Sorry we used to come weekly from Langdon chicken burger. A month ago it was greasy. Small. Everything tasted like fish. Tonight a bunch of us wanted the fish and chips. OMG. Greasy, fries were soggy Fish was not prepared right very fishy and very greasy. Sadly. I don’t know what happened here but food is no longer good. We won’t be returning sadly. We used to love the food

Is a great course. Greens aren't that good but if you're newer to golf or not very serious then this is definitely the course for you. Took my mom golfing for her first time and it was great, but if it wasn't for my mom who has never golfed before, I would've gone to the Strathmore GC that's literally five minutes down the road from Oxbow and is much better. But like I said, this is a great beginner course

My go to course. Has been for over 25 years. Greens are well maintained. A 9 hole with some challenges along the way. Great for beginners as other golfers never seem to be irritated by slow play. Recommend fore sure!!
The staff are terrific in every way. My grandson in pic just got his first set of clubs and mom takes him out every chance she can.

Patagonia Chauffeur was absolutely fantastic, and Cesar went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. He was incredibly prompt, professional, and communicative throughout the entire day, making sure everyone was exactly where they needed to be on time. The vehicles were spotless and stocked with water bottles, and Cesar's warm, hospitable presence made the experience feel luxurious and stress-free. Our guests truly appreciated the comfort and care he provided. We couldn’t have asked for better service—it was seamless from start to finish!

Impeccably clean and very well stocked! Everything was neat and easy to find, and I even picked up something to try on my rabbits’ ears. That said, the customer service was lacking — there were two staff members busy making the store look great, but no one said hello or offered assistance even though I was the only shopper.

Self serve dog wash is fantastic! Clean, modern, well stocked, and professionally appointed. $15 flat rate so no stress to rush. Will definitely be making the drive from Chestermere to Strathmore for future dog baths. Great facilities Pet Valu!

The ladies there were wonderful!!!! They were super helpful with making sure my pup had the proper booties to get her paws warm this winter. They are always super friendly and just always an amazing and great experience when I visit the store for my pup!

I love this location and the team there. It is so great to be able to take my dogs there and bath them! It’s amazing that they provide everything to get them clean, and it’s still so reasonably priced.

Purchased a small bag of dog food here and our dog proceeded to be sick for the 3-4 days he was on it. I returned to the store to see if there was anything they could offer but there is not, which is super unfortunate.

I should of stuck with Pet Planet, we had to exchange once before when our dog was a pup and they took it back no questions asked and found us other food.

Michael was the best decision we made for our pre wedding photoshoot. We were traveling from Vancouver to Banff and we were not sure of photoshoot locations, timings and the commute.

Michael was really helpful in sorting out the locations: Bow and Peyto Lake. He was generous to prepone our photoshoot by one day because of the bad weather. He also came to pick us up and dropped us back without any questions. He was really passionate about getting the photoshoot right and was trying to know as much about us to get right angles and poses.

The photos came out really stunning and beautiful. He also stayed one hour more than the initial decided time just to get things perfect. Overall, you will not regret having him as your photographer.

For two people who do not like being in front of the camera and are extremely awkward, Michael somehow made the whole process so easy and fun! He knows Canmore so well; the locations he selected were perfect. His knowledge of photography and natural lighting are so impressive and the photos we have received are absolutely stunning.
Michael did not pose us at all, but made suggestions and had us interact with each other, which allowed us to be ourselves; and you can see this come through in our photos.
Leading up to our wedding day, communication was clear and prompt. He answered all our questions and even took time to meet with us to give us an idea of what to expect, learn about us as a couple, and ask what kinds of photos we wanted. His pricing is extremely reasonable for the incredible photos we received.
We would absolutely recommend Michael as a wedding photographer!

We highly recommend Michael, the photos he captured during our engagement shoot truly exceeded our expectations. Michael was really fun and professional to work with. He does a great job capturing the moment, the photo session felt so natural and we truly had so much fun as a couple during our 2 hours with him! Even thought we had a smokey day, our photos came out great. Everyone we show our photos to says they are the best engagement photos they have ever seen (and one of our friends who said this is a former wedding photographer)! Michael also got us a handful of sneak peek edited photos the very next day, and was able to provide us our gallery ahead of his promised time. Thank you, Michael!

Michael did an amazing job with our wedding photos. He took us to a ton of hidden spots in Canmore - he knows the area better than anyone - so we have beautiful shots that are unique. Plus he really captured what we wanted - the grandness of the area, our personalities, and the intimacy of our ceremony. It was a cold day so it could've been a hard day, but Michael made it fun and memorable.

Michael's a funny, patient yet professional individual, and does his work really well. He's not just experienced in the locations and where to find the best spots, he does his lighting, framing and knows when to capture us with the best sunlight and winds. He helped me to look natural in the photos too. Of course since it was colder than our usual weather in Singapore, he helped give us suggestions to keep warm intermittently too!

He's also on the ball, giving us teaser photos the next day as promised, and the full album in a set deadline. Love how organised he is at this.

We have heard so many wonderful reviews for our newest flower shop, but have not yet had the opportunity to use them. We had an exceptional delivery today. Exceptional service also. They called us a few days ago with a bouquet ready to deliver. Sadly, we were out of town. They quickly and kindlyrescheduled the delivery for today. Today they delivered a beautiful fresh bouquet. I think I will start buying myself flowers from Pistil and Stems because they are so so so beautiful. Thank you ladies from the bottom of our hearts.

Visited Pistil and Stems for the first time today and loved this little boutique offering cute home decor and gorgeous fresh florals/cuts! Got to pick out what I wanted for the cuts and had fun doing it. Sheryl was extremely friendly/outgoing and will for sure be back for more flowers and to find some cute decor.

The peonies we ordered were nice quality. The only complaint is the staff is not knowledgable in flower identification. We asked for a very specific kind. We even showed pictures and emphasized the kind we absolutely did not want because I am really allergic. The bulbs were closed but opened when we got them home and in water. It turned out to be the kind I'm allergic to and had to give them away immediately because I started flaring up. They were suppose to be my birthday flowers, highly disappointed.

I received a delivery of a big Beautiful bouquet of mixed flowers for my Anniversary on June 12th.
It is now June 28th. They are still Beautiful! ☀️

I was in need of a tent and they actually accommodated me with three tents came in the middle of the night to make sure my event went without a hitch now that’s integrity and quality. The tents were so clean so well put up and had no wear. I 100% recommend Prairie party rentals. They are smooth seamless and such good people.

We used Prairie Party and Tent Rentals for my sister’s wedding. Working with Nirmal was a great experience, I spoke with a lot of different vendors prior to moving forward with Nirmal. He is extremely knowledgeable and made sure we were equipped for everything. He was thorough in his communication, straightforward with his responses, and addressed all our concerns in a timely manner. Nirmal and the team showed up on time at our house and set it up before we could finish our conversation. We had another event off site, and Nirmal made sure we were taken care of with zero stress, he knew what was needed and made sure to take care of it all without zero input from us.

Overall great experience would absolutely use again in the future and recommend to anyone.

The staff is incredible; they make you feel like family. I had a pedicure that included sitting in a massage chair while enjoying a fantastic back massage along with my foot massage. My mom introduced me to this place, and she goes faithfully every two weeks. Her nails and toenails always look amazing.

I love the way Dawn does my nails, and they always stay l until it is time for a fill. She does an awesome pedicure. I also get my brows waxed she is the best in town. Try her facial,it is worth every penny.
They have reorganized the salon, and I love the nail station near the front window.

I'm gonna have Dawn do my toes next time, Micheal was fun to talk to, but I wasn't all that happy with the pedicure I got from him. Sorry Micheal.

First ever nail place i have been to in Strathmore and i was made super comfortable by Michael and his wife. They are super sweet and lovely, and experience really talks when they do your nails. Would never go anywhere else. Highly recommend their services and hospitality

I have this ring my papa gave me when I was younger. I never wore it because the setting was chunky and sharp and sterling silver when I wear a lot of yellow gold.

When my papa passed away, I really wanted to get the ring reset so that it laid flatter on my finger and was more comfortable and also in a yellow gold setting. I wanted something I could wear daily.

I was told by two different jewellers that the stone is worthless and they would not bother setting it for me. Even though for me the stone was sentimental and meant so much to me. Another jeweller quoted me an astronomical price.

I went to Michael at Queen’s and not only did he quote me a fair price, he listened to exactly what I wanted and in a reasonable timeline, I had the ring reset. The communication throughout the whole process really put me at ease because it was difficult to entrust someone with my precious papa ring.

I just picked it up today and I had tears in my eyes. It exceeded my expectations and now I have a beautiful ring that I can wear daily that will help keep my papa close to me. Thank you so much!

In my first experience with Quest after experience with dozens of operators in both Calgary and many other large cities they impressed me so much. Aman was incredible with timely and professional correspondence and the driver and vehicles were first rate. We were even upgraded free of charge on our return trip. Prices were very reasonable and I would recommend to anyone. They are now my preferred and only operator when I need a black car service for both personal special occasiona and all my business travel.

This business is a chain, operating in Vancouver as well as Calgary (as per the website) I booked their services through the Vancouver location but I have no reason to believe the service in Calgary would be better due to the head office replies and mistreatment. Again, to all brides and consumers, stay away!

There are some pretty awesome staff who work here. The store is clean and has everything organized well. The store has many great prices and some incredible sales. Sometimes they even have an employee giving out samples yay! They have some great deals on Christmas baskets but the best is the beer advent calenders for under $80. Definitely one of my go to liquor stores.

I booked an appointment with McKenna on the recommendation of a friend and I was very impressed. I’ve only had one visit but it was great. She took the time to see what main areas I wanted her to work on and afterwards she gave me some stretches to help me out. To me ambience and the energy of the room are very important and it checked all my boxes. I’ve already booked my next appointment. If you’re looking for a massage therapist give her a try, you won’t be disappointed.
