We have since done maternity photos and newborn photos with Monica so obviously we love her photography style and really enjoy working with her. Every session we have done has been seamless and fun and the pictures always turn out stunning. We really can't recommend her enough!

Monica photographed our wedding at the Azuridge and she was amazing!! She is professional, organized, efficient, personable, and takes phenomenal pictures. From the moment we reached out to Monica she was very responsive and seemed happy to answer our questions.

The portrait sessions with the wedding party flew by, and even people who typically don't like getting photos (groom and his entire party) had a great time. The photo session with family members was also great - Monica requested a list of family shots we wanted beforehand and this made the process of getting family photos very efficient. Everyone got the pictures they wanted and still had time for cocktail hour!

Monica also knew the venue really well and suggested we take pictures in a variety of locations and poses. While we appreciated the variety on the day of just for a change of pace, we realized the importance of this when it came time to pick photos for the album. Having a wide variety of locations, poses, and shots kept all of the pictures interesting.

We had Monica for the full day and she captured every moment perfectly. Not a single moment was missed, from getting ready photos to our first look, all the way to our first dance. We had a great day and Monica's photos will help us remember every moment

I had been wanting to do a boudoir photoshoot for years now just never had the self confidence to take the plunge. I have been following Monicas work on social media for a while and entered into a giveaway contest and had been lucky enough to be chosen! I finally decided to take the plunge and make the investment and MY GOODNESS, I am so glad I did! There’s nothing more empowering than the whole experience I had with Monica! From the very start, she provides so much amazing information to make the day of your photoshoot as seamless as possible and make you feel absolutely beautiful in your skin! She stays in touch between the booking stage to the day of with any additional information you may need/want to know. I had chosen to do the full boudoir experience. I had gotten my hair and makeup done by one of her artists she works with which made me feel even more confident going into the photoshoot. Highly recommend doing this! I arrived at Monica’s studio and let me tell you it is absolutely stunning! From the cute sign with your name on it making it such a personal experience to all of the different pieces she has and different styles of textures so you can do endless looks in her space! JUST WOW! I had never met Monica in person prior to the photoshoot and she was so inviting and makes you feel so comfortable while she is taking her very talented photos! We chatted and laughed during the photoshoot like she is someone I’ve known for awhile. She coached me through the poses and I felt so confident the whole time she was shooting! She has such an amazing eye for detail and when I received my gallery my mouth dropped at how amazing the photos had turned out! My husband and I couldn’t choose just a few they were that good so we ended up purchasing the entire gallery!! The whole experience with Monica is something I am recommending to absolutely everyone who is wanting to show themselves some self love, give a special gift, or just because! We did our engagement photos with Monica and they were everything that we could have dreamed of! We had an idea of what we wanted and where to go and she was so game and trusting to hop in our truck with us and our dogs and head down some dusty back roads! I have worked with Monica as a makeup artist for both weddings and her boudoir clients and she is absolutely incredible at both. She is an absolute pleasure to work with, her clients lover her, and the photos she produces are beautiful. She is also timely, organized and experienced. We had an amazing experience with Revolution Entertainment and our DJ Britain for our wedding.

From start to finish, they were absolutely fantastic. The music selection was spot on and kept the party going all night! The transitions between each part of the evening were smooth and seamless, which made everything flow perfectly.

Our DJ didn’t just play music she brought an incredible energy to the event and did a phenomenal job as our MC. She handled announcements, guided the evening's schedule effortlessly, and even took care of calling tables for dinner, which really helped everything stay organized and stress-free.

We had this DJ service for our wedding this past weekend and everything went Amazing! The DJ came and introduced himself and asked questions, clarified everything for the evening. He kept people dancing all night and was very attentive with song requests. Booking was a breeze and their staff was very attentive with communication. Would definitely recommend!

From the moment the music started, the energy was perfect — he kept the vibe fun, smooth, and exactly what we were hoping for. We had the honour of working with DJ Brittan from Revolution for our wedding yesterday, and she truly brought the magic! From the moment we started planning, they were great to work with. and Brittan seamlessly incorporated all of our music choices into the night.

The timing was spot on, and she expertly kept everything on schedule, even when a few things had to be shuffled around. Her energy and flare made the dance floor infectious, and she had an amazing ability to read the room and play the perfect songs to keep the party going all night long.

What really impressed us was how Brittan went above and beyond, reading the room, and playing some of our favorite songs even though they weren't on the must-play list. It made the night feel extra special and personal.

As our MC, Brittan was professional, friendly, and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly and that our guests had an amazing time. She was high energy (which is exactly what we wanted) and brought the vibe we were looking for. We also want to give a shoutout to Roxanne, who was incredibly helpful behind the scenes, answering all of our questions quickly and professionally.

We never had a single worry about the music or entertainment, thanks to Brittan's expertise and professionalism. She truly knows how to mix music and create an unforgettable experience.

Before moving to Calgary, this was my absolute go-to spot for wings and more. I always loved coming here.

I visited again after a few years and was just as impressed as before. The service was great, and the food, especially the wings, was delicious. I was tempted to get their steak sandwich, which was their steak sandwich night, but I wanted to get wings with my wife. Maybe next time!

My wife was surprised by how nice the decor was and didn’t expect it from the outside. She also liked how the bar side was quiet and didn’t have loud music.

Once we sat down, our server promptly came to us and asked us what we wanted to drink. We both got beers, which came quickly. Afterward, we ordered ten wings: Caesar hot, lemon pepper, BBQ, and honey garlic. They came out hot and delicious. My wife was shocked at how big they were and was super impressed with them.

The total was $40, which is extremely reasonable for everything. I hope we’ll definitely stop by again when we’re back in Strathmore.

Roadhouse has a hearty serving of food which are very filling and worth the bucks, the flavors are a delight as it is perfectly seasoned and well cooked. I ordered the beef liver which is very nice a well recommended with the mushroomy sauce and crispy bacon on top and a good side dish of mashed potatoes and vegetables.

Other dishes are excellent as well starting from the clam chowder, caesar salad, pasta and the steak, wonderfuly served to your preference.

Employees are friendly, accomodating, polite and easy to talk to if requesting for something or billing out.

The interior of the restaurant has plenty of tables to accomodate a lot of customers even at the time I was there a party is being held. Tables, chairs floors are clean and the washroom as well. There are a lot of interesting designs and picture frames along the wall that portrays the Canadian way of life.

Will go back and dine if I am passing by the area if they could improve the temperature inside the restaurant which was very hot during the afternoon time I was there probably the AC was busted I don't know about the other patrons but it was uncomfortably toasty inside, luckily I was sitting just beside the window and opened it to let some fresh air in.

I've been in Strathmore for almost two months now, and I keep coming back here for the New York Striploin (rare). The steak was cooked perfectly and it's very tender and juicy. My waitresses, Marge & Rhoda, were wonderful. Thank you

Have given this 5 stars for food but by bun with my chicken breast burger had mould on it, they didn’t charge me for my meal. Didn’t notice until halfway through it it was in the bottom of the bun. Hubby’s meal of liver, was very good apparently.
Waitress sorry didn’t get your name, she’s going to Abbotsford, was great so personable and friendly. Inside was lovely if we ever are back this way again, I would give it another chance on my food! The server was so upset about the mould, so just an fyi cooks, check the products you’re using as this could break a restaurant.

My wife and I stayed here for the last three nights of our honeymoon. This picture perfect ranch overlooking Eagle Lake was the perfect way for us to unwind and say "see ya later" to Canada. The cabin was perfect, complete with a real fireplace and a beautiful view. We made fast friends with both Ryan and Kara whose warm, sincere, hospitality, truly made us feel like more than just guests. My wife and I both recommend the ranch hand experience with Ryan. We both had fun spending up close time with the animals and learning how to rope. This place is a little slice of peace and quiet close enough to Banff to be the perfect base of operations if you so choose, but definitely a worthy destination vacation on its own! Hope to see ya soon Ryan and Kara!! We will be back!!

What a beautiful little spot, the quick getaway needed from the city but yet so close. spent a couple of days with the family, kids loved it. Cabin was spacious, super clean, well maintained with very nice little touches. Hot tub, fire pit and a BBQ as well. Lots of room for the kids to roam free, some animals on the farm that the kids enjoyed watching. Fairly well priced and very easily to communicate with the owner. Looking forward to another visit.

I was extremely disappointed with the way the RRR handled our booking. They didn’t get along with our wedding planner so they completely ruined our wedding experience. They went over an initial contract that my husband and I signed. And then TWO WEEKS before the wedding day, they wanted to change the contract with a TON of wacky conditions to add extra charges. We couldn’t use the bathroom without added charges, the reception would have been over by 10 PM when it was originally not stated, guests can’t wander the property if they aren’t apart of pictures. Just a bunch of controlling rules. The day of the wedding my planner wouldn’t have been allowed on the property. My husband is a DJ and when they found out they added this clause

“ 4.3 DJ’s & Music Providers: Any vendors providing music services must be respectful in regards to the level of volume. If it is deemed that any music is too loud or disruptive, the Company reserves the right to ask the vendor to reduce the volume, change the song, or shut down completely.”

Because they considered this a cancel (based on the first signed contract they said was not valid cause “they didn’t sign”) they kept all our money and we had to pay for a new venue 2 weeks before the day. I was gonna sue for my money back but I would rather not interact with these people again. I texted them and emailed for our money back with no luck. So I reported it after the wedding to the BBB and they threatened to criminally charge us in their response through the BBB. Then after my wedding the owner texts me asking us to come out for a drink cause this isn’t how they wanted this to go. So expect added charges if you go here.

In their response, they still blamed my wedding planner for taking my money and canceling our wedding. No accountability for ruining someone's wedding planning experience. I am SO SO happy we found the spot we did to make the day successful.

My husband and I had our wedding at Rockin R last August. From day one we knew we wanted a ranch wedding and Rockin R was the perfect backdrop. From the first day we toured the venue until our Wedding Kara and her husband were amazing. They worked with us on any request that we had and accommodated everything we wanted for our day. They have made an amazing venue for weddings or anything else you want to celebrate. We cannot wait to go back and create more memories at the Ranch.

If you’re considering booking - just do it! This place is so special, and the owners are fantastic. I had an incredible stay. The sunset was just magical. Make sure you book an experience like riding or roping. Pack your outdoor/riding shoes, and I’d advise having your own vehicle too. Don’t forget swimwear for the hot tub :) I can’t wait to be back here at Rocking R with friends and family.

I had the most amazing experience with Rocky Mountain Limousine! From the moment I booked, everything was seamless and professional. Our driver was friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to make sure we had the best views and plenty of time for photos. The van was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for our group.

We visited Banff, Lake Louise, and Moraine Lake, and it honestly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime trip. We worked with Jason back in October 2024 for our wedding and he did not disappoint!!! We knew we wanted to capture our wedding on film as well as photography and Jason went above and beyond to make us the most amazing wedding video. He worked seamlessly with our photographer and together they have provided us with footage from our special day that we can look back on for years to come!

When I was originally planning my wedding, a videographer was not part of the budget. Then someone recommended me to Rocky Mountain Studios. Hiring them was the BEST decision about my wedding planning I made. I worked with a lot of amazing vendors, but these guys were the #1 of our list. Brett and Jason care so much about their work. It was obvious even when we were first talking to them. On the day of the wedding I really felt like they had my back. Thank you Brett for reminding me to smile when things got overwhelming. The quality of the videos we got back were astounding. I actually got to see what it felt like to be there again, and I am going to treasure those videos forever. Two of the nicest guys I ever met, and I hope they have resounding success for the rest of their careers.

Rocky Mountain Studios helped us curate an amazing memory of our special elopement. We married with only a 2 year old present and Jason’s calmness in the matter helped us feel settled but also captured amazing moments. The final edit is a work of art and we are thrilled we chose RMS. From start to finish, there was nothing too much for Jason.

Jason made us the most beautiful wedding video! I have been following Rocky Mountain Studios for several years and have been dreaming of using them for our wedding, and I’m so happy we did! I’m obsessed with our highlight video, and we’ve already watched the full documentary video 4 times since our wedding (3 months ago). Jason was so easy to work with, he made us super comfortable all day, and he was willing to go the extra mile to get the perfect shot - including helping me scale a very steep mountain barefoot! Jason was constantly tossing away the smallest rocks or tree branches that didn’t look great so that he could get the perfect shot each time - I was blown away with his attention to detail and his professionalism all day. We had so much fun working with him, and the quality of his work is just unmatched. If you are on the fence, I highly highly recommend going for it! You won’t regret it!

Kristin was absolutely PHENOMENAL throughout our wedding planning process! We had a last minute venue change due to a gondola failure and Kristin was a savior in the chaos!! She helped us find decor and solutions to all our challenges with the new space and we ended up absolutely in love with the secondary location!! We could not have pulled off our dream day without her!!

I don’t know where to start. Kristin was FANTASTIC. We are from Florida and felt so nervous about planning a destination wedding, but she was incredible and made it SO easy. We had the pleasure of having Harry & Dani on our wedding team. We first met with Harry at the start of our planning stage and he was such a joy. What was supposed to be a 30-minute in-person meet-up turned into a 1-1.5 hour-long chat about all things wedding and life. We left that meeting knowing that our wedding would be in good hands with RMWE. RMWE helped us by listing the vendors they have enjoyed working with. And when we still couldn't make a decision, Harry was able to provide us with really great insight on each person/company so that we could choose who would fit our "vibe" the best.
For the rest of the wedding process, we worked with Dani and she was beyond amazing. Her energy and organization made the wedding planning process so much more fun! She was so accommodating with our requests and changes (especially on the day of), there's literally nothing this woman can't do! It was because of her (and Harry) that my (now) husband and I were so calm weeks leading up to the big day. Our guests absolutely love Dani. If it weren't for her and the rest of RMWE, I don't think we would have been able to have our dream wedding executed the way they did. I wish I could have her plan all our big life events!

We really wanted to get married in 2020 but was doubting the ability to pull something off in such short notice. Once we found our photographer (Rocky Mountain Photo Co.) We found our florist, JP, and DJ through the website! Super easy to use and made finding vendors so simple! We are now getting married at our dream location with the best vendors. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Anna at RONA in Strathmore today, and I feel compelled to express my sincere appreciation. To say she was helpful would be an understatement. Anna went above and beyond what anyone could reasonably expect, offering knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely caring service.

Because of the outstanding experience I had with her, RONA will now be my first stop—not just a store I visit after others fall short. Anna’s professionalism and dedication truly set a high standard, and I want to extend my heartfelt thanks.

Really dissatisfied with our service today. First we asked if the Levelor blinds were on sale, there was a sign, and the employee said yes they were, so we proceeded to ask for 3 blinds to be cut. First they were not enthused about having to help us. They cut 1, and when we asked where the other 2 were they responded "oh...you'll have to wait a bit." About 15 minutes later they come back to cut the other ones. We take them to the front to pay where we checked to make sure the sale was applied when we are informed that "oh, that's for custom orders only". We were buying 3 because of the great sale, then ended up walking out paying full price on something we were only buying because they were on sale. Extremely disappointed.

It's hard to review this store. Can't complain about the work people are doing because nobody works there.

My wife and I got married on September 6th, 2025 and had the absolute honour of having Stephanie as our officiant. Everyone is still raving about how beautiful our ceremony was. Today (February 27, 2025) I had my hair cut and styled by Faith (hairdresser at the Strathmore Runway Hair Design Company Inc.). I am very pleased with the result; and the experience was very positive. Faith was very attentive to what I wanted and Faith made efforts to transform my ideas to make me feel better about myself than just 'plain' grandma. Faith took the time to trim the back of my hair a second time and to make adjustments with the layers as we discussed what I preferred. I am very pleased with this service and I want to recommend this hair salon, and Faith as a hairdresser, to anyone who is looking for a new look or to manage their hairstyle.

Nice salon for sure. Decent place to get a straight forward man's cut for a fair price. They won't absolutely cookie cutter it like the barber shop by M & M meats, and they won't push you to do something more adventurous if you don't want. If you want anything more unique they have obviously got that covered too. I always go with Melissa.

I've made this place my chosen hair cut option after struggling to find a barber shop or salon in Strathmore that was the right balance of simple yet also sophisticated as you want to be.

Well let me start with the good , plenty of parking , wonderful server , food cane out very quickly, prices are very reasonable 👌 but my butter chicken wasn't good the sauce was fine but my chicken was not tender it was tough and stringy. The beef in my samosas was dry and lacked any real flavor. The place was very run down , don't think I'll be back anytime soon , it sucks cause I really wanted to like this place 😔

I love this place! Tasty food, terrific service and pleasant environment. Low music so dinner conversation is easy. The flavours are unique, complimentary and beautifully auromatic. This is a must for a lovely dinner out. You will find yourself ordering extra just so you have a portion to take home, and the portions are plentiful. Numerous gluten free options. From the moment you walk in you feel the warmth of this restaurant. My husband and I enjoy coming her for there lunch specials. You can pick between vegetarian or meat main courses and it comes with an appetizer, salad of the day and fresh nanny bread all for under $17 per person. Today i ordered the butter chicken special and per usual it was thick creamy and full of incredible flavor. Definitely a favorite for anyone. My husband chose the beef vindaloo. If you like something with a bit more of a kick this is definitely one you must try. It came out thick bright and bursting with spices. Let's just say he couldn't stop smiling with every bite. This has to be one of our favorite places to eat from strathmore to calgary. We are never disappointed when we come. The restaurant is always clean and the young lady who works here is always polite and prompt with checking in on you. If you like food with flavour and dimension leaving your entire family fully satisfied and happy. This is the place to EAT!

Some of the best Indian food I have ever had!

I haven’t dined in so I left service and atmosphere unrated but this food is SO good. I’ve eaten Indian food from a lot of different places in Edmonton and Calgary and I have to say this place tops it. The butter chicken is so creamy and flavourful, the chicken is cooked just right - soft and not chewy or dry. The pakora is crispy and flavourful. The chicken biryani is another really delicious dish that’s seasoned perfectly.

I’m excited to try many more items on this menu. Definitely recommended and will certainly be ordering more!!

First time customer and I am a huge fan now! This establishment is the perfect setting for the ultimate experience. It’s a true SPA. I have been to countless businesses for a pedicure or manicure etc but nothing can compare to this service, and it’s in a rural town and not the big City. My friend and I had the floating pedicures; a manicure and the bonus was a head massage. Let me tell you it’s absolutely surreal. There is nothing like it! The cleanliness of this oasis is impeccable. I also absolutely love the fact that you are not lined up like in chairs and it’s loud and not attentive to you the guest. My friend and I were in a relaxing room and no other customers. It was relaxing and the weighted eye masks during your pedicure and head massage is just the touch to whisk you away to an incredible experience. Highly recommend!!! I will be promoting on my social media platforms.

Best facial service … EVER! Sometimes you want a facial for specific skin treatments and sometimes you just want to melt away in a sea of tranquility …. The latter was my goal this week. The service I received is called the Tranquility Face & Body Ritual. It’s a 90min service that includes a body massage and facial, which also included massage! The aesthetician was well trained, the room was quiet, the music soft …. I was indeed relaxed!

The spa itself is fabulously charming! So much thought went into every detail. And there’s a kitty!!! I can’t wait to come back - this little day spa is 10/10!

Given the wrong information today, on multiple occasions, which has lead my 20 month-old son to be without medication for two days.

Dropped off my prescription this morning for him. Was told it was a compound, so they would need to order in the necessary parts for it. Was told if I did it through them, the delivery would be made by 4-5pm, and the prescription would be ready by dinner time. I said that was fine as my husband could pick it up on the way home.

My husband received a message earlier to his departure from work in the city saying the prescription was being processed. He called the pharmacy on his way home, and the phone line indicated it would be delayed until after 8pm.

My husband then drove back to the pharmacy (we live half an hour away), to pick up the medication. He called to confirm it would be done.

He arrived to be told it wasn't done. Not only that, but it wouldn't be done today at all, and not even tomorrow morning - because this pharmacy doesn't so that kind of medication, so we have to go to another pharmacy.

So we were given incorrect information by multiple staff members, leaving our sick son without medication he could have otherwise had if we had been given the correct information initially to go to another pharmacy, AND my husband was forced to make an hour round trip for nothing.

Educate your staff better. My son is suffering because of you, and I don't have enough words in my vocabulary to share how absolutely disgusted I am with you.

Staff were rude and not helpful. I was told multiple times that they could not fill my prescription even though I had the same prescription filled at another Shoppers Srug Mart location. The pharmacist said verbatim "I've been doing this a very long time I know what I'm doing.". Well apparently he doesn't because the prescription was eventually able to be filled when I walked them through it.

I don’t enjoy posting lower reviews, as most staff at this Shoppers location are incredible and I’ve never once had any problems shopping normally.

However, I got sick and needed to get a test done and Shoppers Pharmacy was the only place near me that would take bookings or walk-in’s on a Sunday. I booked the night before, for a 10:30am appointment. I came in 10 minutes early and was treated in a very “disregarding” fashion by the pharmacist. She asked what I needed and I told her I had booked online for a test. She haphazardly handed me a clipboard with some medical sheets to fill out, and didn’t bother searching me up in their system.

I filled out their forms and brought them back to her, and she then asked my name and phone number, and once I gave her my phone number, she stated she was signing me up for text alerts. No option, not given a “would you like to sign up for text alerts?” She just signed me up. She then told me the pharmacist who could administer my test wouldn’t be there until 10:30 exactly, which was completely fine. But then I proceeded to sit in the waiting area until 10:50, when the pharmacist finally arrived.

I was still waiting at this point when another customer went to the pharmacy desk and the receptionists demeanour was entirely different. Very bright and bubbly, actually looked up this client in their system, told them they could see their booked appointment.

I then waited another 10 minutes before finally being called in to take the test I needed and the pharmacist also had a very negative attitude.

I understand this is a hard job, people can absolutely be difficult to deal with, but I never did anything to warrant such treatment. And if this is how I was treated, how are other clients being treated? Especially when sick? In a medical field, you need to be compassionate and I experienced no compassion at this location.

I would absolutely give the regular staff who run the store 5 stars, but this pharmacy deserves 1 star.

I had a great experience at Shoppers in Strathmore thanks to the knowledgeable and helpful pharmacist Josh. He took the time to listen to my concerns and provided clear guidance on how to manage my symptoms. Highly recommend this pharmacy and Josh for anyone looking for expert and compassionate care!

This is the best place in Calgary to get light fixtures. After checking out so many places, we ended up here and the experience was fantastic. They have a very good selection and the prices were great. The service was amazing from beginning to end. From Mel our sales advisor, to Greg who was the first installer to come out, to George and Brett who came out the second time to install our last lights. They were all so super friendly, personable and helpful.

At first we required and placed an order for some specific LED bulbs which arrived to the store location quickly, once in the store it was a great experience and we also found a bedroom ceiling fan at a super price; bought it and thought we should get a remote.

I came in looking for sconces. They have a good selection at decent prices but I was not greeted when I walked in and just left to wander the store by myself for 10-15 minutes before anyone asked if I needed help. The person helping me looked at one item for me then never came back...I wandered a bit more then left. I was pretty impressed with the selection of lighting and home decor. If the person had come back I probably would have bought some lights.
