I had such a great time at this karaoke bar. The staff were warm and welcoming, and they made the whole night feel easy and fun. The song list had everything we could think of, and the sound system made even first-time singers feel confident. What really stood out to me was the atmosphere, it wasn’t just about singing, it was about everyone having fun together. Strangers were cheering each other on, and it felt like a big group of friends by the end of the night. I’ll definitely be coming back.

The staff member was extremely friendly and genuine. The song availability and equipment were fantastic. The negatives were the "couch" was very uncomfortable after a while, the room got very warm, and the rooms aren't exactly soundproof. Give it a shot, though, because we had a great time.

I went just for the karaoke and it was really nice. The microphones didn't work much but we were just a small group so it was okay.

The staff here are incredible. The selection of songs they have are amazing. They have large and small rooms. Have a group of us who usually go here and enjoy it.

Went for kareoke here the other day with my family and it was a fun experience, the drinks are reasonably priced and there is a wide selection of songs to choose from.

I had wonderful experience at Barchef tonight. From the moment I sat down, everything felt thoughtful and special.

I was first welcomed with a complimentary aperitif cocktail that suited my taste perfectly—a delightful surprise to start the evening. My main cocktail was absolutely stunning, both in presentation and flavor, with a distinctive style that made it truly memorable. The evening ended with a small, creative cocktail pearl that was both fun and flavorful—a perfect finishing touch.

The service was attentive and detailed without ever feeling overbearing. There’s a refined, elegant atmosphere here, yet it feels warm and welcoming at the same time. You can really feel the team’s passion for cocktails and the artistry that goes into every drink.

I left feeling impressed, cared for, and already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended for anyone who loves beautifully crafted cocktails and top-notch hospitality. 🍸✨

From start to finish, it was an incredible evening. Everyone ordered a different drink so we could get a feeling of the whole menu, which was still spring/summer but it set to change soon. Would definitely recommend getting something off the modernist menu. It will pique all your senses. The price was quite reasonable for the show and story that came with each drink. I had a taste from all of them, and each was so different and delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try the fall/winter menu. Staff were knowledgeable, attentive and kind.

BarChef is definitely an experience, though I’d say it’s not for everyone. I ordered two mocktails and honestly wasn’t a fan of either. The presentation, however, was very cool—there’s definitely something creative, complex, and experimental about the drinks that I can appreciate even if they didn’t quite hit the mark for me. I tried the “Pinia Colada,” which looked great but the flavor wasn’t my thing.

If you don’t drink, this probably isn’t the spot for you, since the real focus is clearly on the cocktails. Others in the group thought it was just okay. That said, I really loved the ambiance—the candles added a beautiful, cozy touch to the space.

BarChef definitely delivers on presentation—every drink looks like a piece of art. However, the taste didn’t quite match the visual appeal for me. The small plates were okay; the lobster roll stood out as my favorite better than the other dishes we tried. Overall, a unique experience but more style than substance

Came here on a Friday night after dinner for a night cap. I definitely walked pass this place and didnt even know. It is very inconspicuous so be aware. As I enter, I noticed how dark and sexy this place was. A must for date night. We sat at the bar after being escorted by the hostess. Our server explained the menu to us. We were very intrigued by the interactive drinks. We ordered the mojito and margarita. The mojito was soooo delicious. The frozen lime balls went in first and then a sip of the drink. The drink wasnt strong enough but still very, very tasty. The presentation was smoky and very beautiful. It was tropical with sand and everything. My company had the rose gold margarita and did not enjoy the fruits that accompanied the drink and stated the drink wasnt strong enough either.

The place is ok but, it's for the younger crowd. Also I was a bit confused when I arrived I had tickets off eventBrite, for 6 of us. We arrived on time bit they has us in line forever. The guy tried to charge us. I told him absolutely not. Once we got in the club was pretty empty. So why hold the line. Weird. Another thing I was confused about, was the false advertisement that said free bottle of champagne that was a lie. We set at a booth that had classes and shot classes as well but no one ever came over to see if we needed a drink or anything. The music was nice. But overall I wouldn't go again. We left after 20 min of being there

If you want a true VIP nightclub experience in Toronto, Barcode Saturdays has the best bottle service and booths. The VIP section is exclusive and always filled with energy, plus you get the full experience with premium drinks and hookah. The best way to spend your Saturday night in style.

We booked a booth for my best friend’s birthday, and the service was amazing. The drinks kept coming, and the music was perfect for the celebration. Barcode Saturdays made the night unforgettable with great music, VIP service, and a lively atmosphere that made the birthday special for everyone in the group.

The vibes at Barcode Saturdays are insane. Toronto nightlife needed a party like this—great energy, top-tier DJs, and nonstop music until late. The combination of hip-hop, rap, and Afrobeats creates an unforgettable atmosphere, and the crowd is always electric. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just partying with friends, you’ll feel the energy in the air the minute you walk in.

This is hands down the best nightclub experience in Toronto. The music, the drinks, the people—10/10 every single time. From the moment you enter Barcode Saturdays, the atmosphere pulls you in. The DJs are always on point, playing a perfect mix of music that caters to everyone’s taste. With VIP booths, bottle service, and hookah, it’s the ultimate Saturday night spot.

We used Bare Butt Butlers for a Bachelorette party in Ontario and we had a great experience! MJ had a ton of fun games for us to play and really got the party going. Would absolutely use this service again and recommend to a friend.

Thoroughly enjoyed their services! Malik was very outgoing and had everyone participating in the games and festivities. He was able to read the mood of the room and lift it up. I recommend them for any bachelorette party.

We had 2 buttlers come for a bachelorette in Niagara Falls.
They were wonderful!

A great surprise to the team, they got everyone drinks, got the games going, were very energetic social and of course, easy on the eyes! Would definitely recommend.

We had Malik for a bachlorette party. He did an amazing job entertaining and hosting games. Highly recommended. Customer service was great as well.

WARNING: Customer service and administration is terrible. Here are some issues:

1. There’s no indication that there’s a fee of $12.05 for PayPal. And there’s been no attempt to explain the discrepancies.
2. If you need the job sheet to have a full name, then say “Client Full Name”.
3. Two versions of invoices sent… first stating that there would be a minimum payment, and then the second time requiring full payment afterward.  If you need a full payment, then you should state this in your payment process because it’s confusing.
4. “Payments must come from the potential client that is inquiring”.   This only came after they declined to accept the payment. It's a strange policy, as I have no idea what name you recognized but it seems that credit cards are only acceptable when it matches your email name. Name on the Job sheet doesn’t matter. As a business, you should say this upfront, and I should not have to pay any admin fees due to YOUR misguidance.  Also, this is RACIAL DISCRIMINATION as you are basing your practice on what you think names should be. You seem to think these "other names" are "third parties".
5. You have made errors causing great frustration to me and your usage of CAPS is extremely rude.   I highly recommend that you evaluate your process and a read of your own comments because you were in fact, incorrect.
6. “It would not be professional nor acceptable on our part to entertain last-minute bookings as our Butlers also lead personal busy lives of their own”. This is a comment that came after going back and forth with multiple forms of payment. You don’t seem to know the difference between a person’s intent to pay and when YOU are the issue.

I would imagine that other people are planning events for their friends and would prefer to deal with decent professionalism.  I would hate for someone else to go through this stressful experience and will be posting this review and passing this along. Buyer beware.

I ordered one of Baskits’ silk plants for a friend who just had surgery, and it arrived exactly when promised—complete with the custom card and in gorgeous condition. This was my first time trying them, and when I say they did not disappoint, I truly mean it. They will be my go-to from now on for any kind of gift basket. This was our first time at BATL Grounds Port Lands and we came for a kids’ birthday party. I believe it was one of the first kids’ parties they’ve hosted, and they did such a great job! Everything ran really smoothly—the instructors were very patient with the little ones and made sure to go through all the safety procedures. The kids got to try both archery and axe throwing, and they even cut the birthday cake with an axe, which was such a fun touch.

The vibe was fantastic—kids were running around, adults got to join in, and there were also arcade games and pool tables to enjoy. Parking was available outside, and it’s right by the new park in the city, so the location worked out well.

My kids had an amazing time, and the whole party was a blast. Definitely recommend!

BATL Axe Throwing – A Blast Every Time!

I've been to BATL Axe Throwing multiple times now, and every visit has been an absolute blast! The vibe is always so fun, the staff are super friendly, and there's just something really satisfying about sticking that axe into the target.

This time, I took my girlfriend for the first time, and even though she struggled a bit at first (we all start somewhere, right?), it was awesome to see her stick with it. By the end, she was getting the hang of it, and we were both having a great time cheering each other on. There's just something special about doing something new together and seeing progress over time.

What I love about BATL is that no matter how many times I’ve been, it's always fun—whether you're a beginner or a pro, the experience never gets old. It's one of those activities where you can try again and again, and each time you get a little bit better.

I highly recommend giving it a go, whether you’re a seasoned axe thrower or someone just looking for something fun to do. Can't wait for my next visit!

Batl ground is such a fun place to hangout. We went there after work for team building event. Never thought it would be that fun. Got very competitive at the end. We picked VIP experience. Our host Patric made sure we enjoy our stay. Huge thanks to Patric for keeping us engaged and SAFE.

I think the above two people must have gone to a different travel agency with the same name. I have dealt with Battlefield and Val exclusively for 13 years. Every year since my kids were 2 and 3 I have taken them away for a week in the winter. Due to Val's extensive knowledge of the Caribbean, Mexico, etc. we have never been steered wrong on our winter holiday. Valerie researches the resorts I'm interested in and has more than once suggested an alternative based on Battlefield's customers and agent's feedback. We have loved every vacation we have taken through Battlefield, and are looking forward to another wonderful trip to Jamaica this December. I have found every staff member at Battlefield to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable - able to answer any question I have if Val is not in the office at the time of my phone call. Courteous, professional, personable and honest. I wouldn't trust my beloved week away with anyone else!

Krimse was amazing to work with! She was very friendly, responsive, professional, open to feedback, and gave great suggestions for my bridal hair and makeup. The perfect glam squad! Lelo and Donna were both incredible to work with. My ladies and I came in with visions of what we wanted, and they used their experiences to guide our designs. The final product was even better than we imaged.

Prior to the day, Lelo was always super quick to reply to messages and questions. She provided a useful wedding day prep guide with skin care tips and a demo schedule. Lelo and Donna arrived right on time and were extremely efficient in their set up. Lelo did everyone's makeup and Donna did everyone's hair. All of us were ready earlier than expected and we had plenty of time for photos prior to heading to the venue. They also provided my bridesmaids with instructions on how to take out / place my hair piece and veil as to not ruin my hair. We all received touch up bags in case we needed to fix any of our makeup throughout the day.

Vere and her team did our makeup for my sister’s wedding; she’s incredibly punctual and professional, patient and sweet! With our makeup she also gave us a retouch kit in case emergencies happened but we cried, laughed and sweat in the makeup and our faces were still set and locked, lasting until 2AM!

I had a great shopping experience at Becker’s. They had an excellent selection, especially for a smaller budget (my preferred price range was under $3k). Liyat was so helpful and patient at my appointment, and I never felt like she was pushing me or trying to oversell me. I did end up buying my dress at Becker’s and I absolutely loved the style I chose.

The dress I chose was a Barbra Allin style which is made in-house by Becker’s seamstress (Tulip). Unfortunately — and the reason for the 3-star review — my dress was not made to the standard I would expect for a dress costing over $2000.

My primary issue is that the boning on the bodice was COMPLETELY crooked.

When I went to pick up the dress in store, I felt like it looked lopsided in the mirror but couldn’t place exactly what was wrong. The store employees measured the bodice from the top to bottom on both sides while I was wearing it, and told me it was not lopsided because it was the same length on both sides, and perhaps it just looked that way because of the lighting in the store.

It wasn’t until I went to my first alterations appointment that I realized that the reason the bodice looks lopsided is because the boning (which is visible on the outside of the dress and a main visual element of the bodice) was angled very differently on each side of my torso.

I am not a nitpicky person, but the discrepancy was quite obvious, and I was very upset to see such a major error in such an expensive dress. I ended up spending $1000 on alterations, and my tailor was still not able to make it perfectly even because there was not enough material to spare in the seams of the bodice. It looked a lot better, but it still looks a tiny bit lopsided in pictures and that makes me sad.

While I had a great experience shopping at Becker’s, I could not recommend a dress made by their Barbra Allin brand.

I had a lovely experience at Becker’s. It was the first shop I went to so I wasn’t sure what to expect. We were welcomed warmly and guided through what to expect. I was helped with each dress but also felt that I had my own space/not hovered over. There is a good selection of off-the-rack dresses if you need, as a well as a local designer in-house. Prices are super reasonable. Can’t say enough about this place, highly recommend for a bride-to-be to visit!

Getting a wedding dress could be very overwhelming and stressful but Amanda at Beckers Bridal made it such a seamless and perfect experience. She gave me the time, space and support to make a decision. She also paid so much to detail and found the perfect dress for me to try on.

We had the best June wedding at Belcroft Estate! From the moment we toured over a year ago, we knew that this property was something special. The staff are so helpful and responsive (especially Rachael and Katie). The bridal suite is gorgeous, and there are so many different locations on the property for amazing photos (including a classic car). All the staff made our vision for our wedding come to life and made sure it was completely stress free for my husband and I. We had rain on our day, and the venue coordinators worked tirelessly to pivot our ceremony location. We would 100% recommend this location to any couples getting married.

Belcroft is absolutely beautiful! Our wedding looked stunning and we were really pleased with how everything turned out. The vendors they have working with them (The Event Design Co, DJ Mastermix, and caterers) are fantastic as well. Our wedding was in June 2023 and we chose to have our wedding at the Rustic Barn and ceremony at the willow tree - everything was so beautiful! Our guests continually complimented how gorgeous the property is. What we found really nice and unique about it was the space and how the dinner tables for the reception were in a separate area from the dance floor. In addition to this, there was the outdoor terrace which provided guests with even more space if they wanted. Both myself and my husband also had separate areas to get ready in, which is not something that many venues offer. The property is very picturesque and we have such beautiful pictures all around the venue. Thank you Belcroft for such a great wedding!

Belcroft Estate was the perfect place to say “I do”! From the moment we arrived, we knew it was something truly special. The entire property is breathtaking — from the charming laneway to the picturesque bridge and serene water views, every corner was a dream for photos. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how stunning the venue was!

We held our ceremony under the beautiful willow tree, and it couldn’t have been more magical. It created the most romantic and intimate setting to exchange our vows — like something out of a fairytale.

One of the things we loved most is that Belcroft is pet friendly, which meant our dog could be part of our special day! Having her there made everything feel that much more personal and meaningful.

The getting ready spaces were absolutely gorgeous. My girls and I loved relaxing and watching the property come to life from our suite — it was peaceful, elegant, and the perfect start to the day. My husband was thrilled with the man cave — he and the guys had a blast playing pinball and pool before the ceremony.

The barn was nothing short of enchanting. The soft glow from the globe and ladder lights created the most romantic atmosphere for our dinner and parent dances. It felt cozy, magical, and full of love. One of our favourite moments of the entire day was our first dance in the courtyard, under the twinkling globe lights, with our guests watching from the balcony — it was unforgettable.

We had a wonderful experience for my son‘s wedding event. The grounds looked spectacular and on the sunny late summer day it was perfect for a wedding. Inside the venue, we were treated to a downstairs bar, which was very accommodating. We were surprised, however, that on the upper level the dance floor area was physically separated from the dining area which made it a little awkward to be engaged with what was going on in the dining area and tables while trying to enjoy the great DJ. It’s still a very special venue and that would be my only issue as the dancing area was not a direct part of the dining area. The staff were great and very attentive and very personable.

We are so grateful for everything Bellamy Loft did to make our wedding day so seamless and beautiful. From the start, the team was organized and responsive, which gave us so much peace of mind during planning.

The setup and décor were everything we dreamed of. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how gorgeous everything looked, and my bouquet was honestly one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen.

Bellamy Loft gave my husband and I a wedding better than either of us could have ever imagined. Not living in Toronto, I was uncertain how we would ever find vendors and a venue for our dream wedding. Bellamy Loft took all the worry away.

The workers and coordinators, all wonderful, from Bianca always responding in a timely manner to any and all questions by email, to Novia and Lydia helping with planning and the final set up. Everyone was a pleasure to work with.
Their partner vendors are also all terrific! They selected them all for us, and while we were nervous a little, after the night we had, we would not change a thing! The photographer was lovely and we are excited to see all of the beautiful shots! The photobooth is a must! We have still been receiving raving reviews about the food and how lovely of a bartender Matthew was. And no one can stop talking about Chris, the DJ and how he brought the party and the party never stopped!

Bellamy Loft took care of everything at an extremely reasonable price. Our officiant was attentive and charismatic. Our photographer had attention to detail. The venue was perfect. The focus was on us as a couple and we didn't have to stress about a thing! Would highly recommend to couples looking for an intimate ceremony. Thank you for everything.

Cami is so incredible to work with. She photographed my daughter’s baptism a few years back and captured such beautiful, timeless memories for us. More recently, I reached out to her to help me create keepsake albums of my kids, and she delivered beautifully. Putting albums together always felt overwhelming for me but she made the whole process so easy and stress-free. She’s organized, creative, and has an incredible eye for detail and design. What I love most is that even if she wasn’t the one who took your photos she can still help you create a meaningful keepsake album. I’m so grateful for her work, and I know I’ll continue to work with her in the future.

Having confidence that your florist will execute on your wedding vision is so important, and Ruth did an absolutely stunning job. You can show your florist as many Pinterest inspiration photos as you want, but at the end of the day you have to trust they can deliver on what you're envisioning. Ruth's designs are so much more wonderful than I can possibly imagine! She has a great eye for color, shape, and design. I was filled with absolute joy every time I looked at my bridal bouquet. She designed our centerpieces, a ceremony arch, and the cutest flower girl bouquet you've ever seen. I am so thrilled with how everything turned out. Additionally one of my favorite parts of working with Ruth is how organized she is. In her pricing sheets she lays everything out in a very systematic way, and shows examples of styles and colors for each element of floral design. This was very detailed and I loved seeing the obvious thought that went into this. Thank you Ruth!!

Belmont Banquet has truly become our go-to place for special occasions. This wasn’t our first function here, and it certainly won’t be our last. We hosted our 2 main wedding events at Belmont Event Space and we couldn't be happier! From the first meeting with Paul, we knew we were in good hands. We didn't want a typical banquet hall, we wanted to create an intimate experience for our guests and Belmont easily fit our 160 guests.

They actually renovated and upgraded the space in between the time that we booked and our events and the space is very clean and modern. The dance floor is a beautiful light grey colour and they have a giant flower wall for photos. We added on a green wall with wisteria flowers near the entrance and our guests loved the multiple photobooth options.

I was having a hard time finding a reasonably priced and colourful mandap decor company, but Paul connected me with their go-to decorator Mandy and she was AMAZING. We got so many compliments on our mandap and stage decor, and the photos came out so beautiful.

The staff set up the venue for our ceremony (which started at 6 p.m.) and within 45 minutes, they switched it over for dinner which began at 8 p.m. They were all so kind and helpful, especially our bartender that all the guests loved!

I was worried about the parking vouchers and our guests trying to park but there's a sign near the entrance with parking details and none of our guests had issues.

Paul was the most easy-going event space manager I've worked with, and I used to host events as a business. He worked within our budget, allowed us to bring in our own food as my husband and I are 2 different cultures (we only had to pay a bit for his staff to set it up) and answered all my ongoing questions. On the day of the events he was quite busy but his staff was always there if we needed any help with the speakers, lighting, more water, etc.

We also really appreciated that this venue has it's own speakers and lighting and there's no extra AV/lighting charge. Everything was communicated transparently.

We stayed in the Delta hotel for one of the nights and it was the perfect getting ready spot and easy to get to/from the venue.

We loved the location of this space as most of our family and friends are in Mississauga and Toronto, and it's a private space so you don't have to worry about other events in neighbouring rooms at the same time as yours.

Overall, we would highly recommend Belmont Event Space to anyone hosting a wedding, conference or other event. We had our dream wedding events thanks to Paul and his team!

My Happy Place in the Distillery District
I don't know what it is about Bergo, but It’s my absolute favourite spot in the Distillery District, and honestly, a go-to for pretty much any occasion, whether I'm looking for a gift or just want to treat myself.

The place is a true cabinet of curiosities, and I mean that in the best way possible. One moment I'm giggling at Jellycat plushies, and the next I'm admiring some ridiculously cool Alessi houseware, thinking, "Do I really need a designer kettle? Yes, yes I do." The mix of things is just perfect—it's a little bit quirky, a little bit sophisticated, and all of it is just so wonderfully interesting.

What really makes Bergo special, though, is the feeling you get when you're there. The staff are so incredibly friendly and genuinely helpful. They're not just trying to sell you something; they're sharing their passion for all the cool stuff in the store. It's like having a knowledgeable friend who knows exactly what you're looking for, even if you don't know it yourself yet. They've helped me find the perfect, one-of-a-kind gift more times than I can count.

If you love unique home decor, clever gadgets, and things that just make you smile, you have to visit Bergo. It's not just a store; it’s an experience. Bergo Design is one of the most unique stores in Toronto. Every time I go, I’m reminded of the smiles and wonderment on my kids’ faces.

While one half of the store sells luxury household and lifestyle items, the other half offers quirky and truly ingenious versions of the same e.g. cockroach clips, sushi dish sponge etc.

Admittedly, I rarely buy anything from Bergo but it’s hard to walk out empty-handed. Which explains why the staff are watching your every move like Mangus Carlsen.

This store is truly one of my guilty eye candy pleasures. You might want to leave your wallet at home!
