Ryan photographed both of my daughters' weddings recently. The pictures are spectacular! The formals are wonderful and beautifully mixed with candids that caught the moments just before and after the official shots. His photos of the celebrations depict the mood of the events. We had the pleasure of working with Melissa and Morgan (owners of Lustre Events) to design and plan our summer 2022 wedding in Toronto at the Miller Lash House. We were blown away with their services from start to finish. They are thoughtful and observant in obtaining information from their clients about design preferences. When we received their design plan for us, we could not have been more thrilled. They captured all the elements of the design and wedding experience that we were hoping for and even suggested additional special elements (like a Tiki bar) that we hadn’t thought of ourselves, but absolutely loved. Melissa and Morgan were also thoughtful in helping us plan the multicultural aspects of our wedding, weaving together seamlessly different cultural traditions. The end result was unique, elegant and received glowing feedback from all of our guests.

In addition to all of this, Melissa and Morgan were extremely organized and on top of our wedding timeline. Of note, our wedding was not the easiest to plan, as we live in NYC and were planning during the pandemic. This did not prove to be a barrier as Melissa and Morgan held Zoom meetings with us and handled everything on the ground in Toronto until we had our final planning meetings in person. We felt completely confident in them, even as two type-A New Yorkers!

Lastly and perhaps most importantly, they are an absolutel joy to work with. Their warmth and positivity put us at ease, not just during the planning process, but also on the day of the wedding. They were super adaptable — any last minute challenges that arose were handled swiftly and competently by Melissa and Morgan. It is clear that they have strong relationships and are beloved by all their vendors, and there are clear examples of us benefitting from these strong relationships. At the same time, we never felt pressured into using a particular vendor, and Melissa and Morgan also worked seamlessly with several new vendors that we introduced. And while always positive, Melissa and Morgan were also transparent with us at all stages. When they had strong feelings about certain decisions based on their extensive experience, they did not hesitate to guide us.

All in all, we wholeheartedly recommend Lustre Events for anyone planning a wedding. They made our dream wedding come to life!

After a two-year engagement we had a great wedding planned for 120 guests, then COVID hit. My fiancée and I were committed to our original October wedding date, but understood we couldn't host the party we originally planned. We procrastinated planning and considered eloping until the end of August until our photographer recommended we reached out to Morgan and Melissa. From the first meeting until our wedding five weeks later, they were everything you could dream of in a planner. They listened to our hopes and dreams, then in the ever-changing COVID restrictions, they produced a vision and executed flawlessly. In a compressed planning period they avoided 'decision-exhaustion' by asking the right questions and doing all of the legwork to present great options. What is usually a stressful planning excised in the best of condition, they made a fun and easy under the most challenging conditions. Their combination of foresight, organization, and a great support team (caterers, staffing, rentals, etc). This served us especially well when the neighbours called in a COVID complaint and M+M were able to quickly demonstrate compliance with all COVID-restrictions to the police officer who attended the scene. What could have been a massive disruption to our special day was dealt with before any of the guests even realized it was a possibility. My wife and I are eternally grateful to M+M for every second of the best day of our lives.

We truly cannot say enough good things about Melissa & Morgan of Lustre Events. Firstly, if you're on the fence about hiring planners, it is 100% worth the investment. I cannot stress this enough. We had interviewed several planners and ended up landing on Lustre Events for full services. Melissa and Morgan were the most patient, understanding, excited, creative, and so much more. They brought our vision to life, while staying within our budget (their services included!). We had originally booked our wedding in 2018 for 2019, and it got pushed twice due to COVID. Melissa and Morgan helped us coordinate the new dates with all of our vendors, and still stayed as excited about our wedding as when we first spoke to them.

The number of questions you end up having and details that go into a wedding our endless. I don't know where we'd be or how our wedding could have been pulled off without Lustre Events. It was absolutely flawless, despite severe weather thunderstorms, thanks to this dream team. Thank you Melissa & Morgan!!!

We had a great experience working with Melissa and Morgan for our wedding. We had contacted them right before everything closed down for COVID, and they helped us navigate through a very uncertain time for weddings. We were able to take our time booking our venue and vendors once things opened up. Melissa and Morgan provided a lot of guidance through the process and many suggestions on how we could achieve the wedding we had hoped for. We appreciate them always finding solutions for the items which were important for us. Their coordination efforts on the day of also gave my wife and I peace of mind to enjoy ourselves, knowing the important items were taken care of.

My husband and I got married in Cabo and I can’t say enough amazing things about our wedding planner Tiffany. From the moment we started working together, she made the entire wedding planning process so stress-free and enjoyable (including our weekly chats that i really looked forward to). Tiffany went above and beyond in every way, making sure every detail was perfect—not just for the wedding, but also for our welcome yacht party, which was such an incredible experience for our guests. Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful, and I am so grateful. Thank you for everything.

My husband and I recently had a destination wedding at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica and was so pleased with all the pre wedding coordination! From the start, I had found a better rate for the resort on their website than was offered since we booked so far in advance. They agreed to price match the rates I found but then ended up giving us an even better rate, which made it much more affordable for our guests. Kawal was the best travel agent and always replied in a few hours to all my countless questions. Kawal was on top of it, sending me weekly guest list updates and let me know about the group concessions to expect before we even left for the trip. All the group concessions were as promised and they made us feel so taken care of at a private group check in at the resort. I got multiple compliments from my guests who interacted with Kawal about how attentive and helpful the service was. I had multiple hiccups with my airport transfers between deciding which guests would be on my private transfer and flight changes but Kawal took care of it by emailing guests directly and took the stress off of me! Kawal made the experience of coordinating a large group vacation easy!!

Diane was our off site wedding coordinator and she was amazing! I was so sad that she could not be there on the day of the wedding to see it all through. She was so easy to work with and paid attention to details. She was so kind in replying to all my emails as I stressed about forgetting any details. The resort was beautiful, the wedding everything I dreamed it to be and everyone has an amazing time!

Michael DiDomenico was our travel specialist, and he was amazing throughout. He responded to emails so quickly, whether it was an inquiry, concern, or any adjustment that needed to be made with our reservation. We attended our goddaughter's wedding at Royalton Splash Riviera in Cancun. There was no issue with the check-in. The view, food, and staff were all amazing.

Christy was recommended by a family member as I was a little overwhelmed with booking my first trip solo parenting and making a choice with all the options. She was able to help me find a great resort in my price range for myself and my daughter to travel to the Caribbean that was exactly what I was looking for. She called me and answered all my questions about the travel process, preparation, and resort so that I felt confident and safe going. We had a wonderful trip and will be using her again this winter. I highly recommend her!

Luxe is truly amazing at what they do. They made my destination wedding planning exciting and stress-free!! I actually was not stressed out once!! They are so kind, helpful and respond quickly to emails! They go above and beyond for their brides! My wedding was so magical and felt like it was from a movie! Everything was perfect! Viktoriia is such a gem to work with and absolutely incredible at what she does. I had a terrible bridal trial for my Indian wedding a few weeks before I found her, and I am so glad I ended up booking Viktoriia instead.

She worked with me to create the perfect soft glam look for my hindu ceremony, and also dolled me up for my pre-wedding sangeet. Everyone was raving about my hair for the sangeet as well!

Viktoriia also did a superb job with my dupatta setting, and tikka setting. Both did not budge all day, even through the hindu ceremony and post ceremony photoshoot.

She is so kind and thoughtful, and despite my family chaos on the wedding morning and sangeet evening, she continued working diligently and meticulously. My entire family loved all the looks and I highly highly recommend her.

I could not recommend Viktoriia enough! I had a difficult time choosing a makeup and hair stylist as I’ve never gotten either done and loved the result. When I stumbled on Viktoriia’s instagram I knew she’d be perfect!

I had the best experiences with Viktoria, from the hair and makeup trials to the actual wedding day! She is very professional, detail-oriented and meticulous with all of the little things. She was attentive to all of my preferences with my hair and makeup. I am very picky yet she exceeded my expectation on the wedding day! My mom’s hair and makeup was also done by Viktoria and she was able to give her an up-do despite having short hair.

I had a bridesmaid with a different artist on the verge of crying as she absolutely hated her makeup. Viktoria immediately redid her makeup without hesitation even though she had another obligation she was supposed to leave for. It shows that she really cares about what she does and my friend was so thankful!

Very good service. Very quick to respond. Unfortunately I had to cancel my trip to Canada and was looking forward to their service. I prepaid ahead of time and they were happy to refund me in full. When I'm in Toronto next time, I'll be sure to contact them again.

I had booked the $500 Maybach car service for my wedding reception on July 18th and all details were were confirmed via email.
We had all of our guests arriving at 7pm onwards, so I figured that an extra 30 minute buffer would be ok. Pickup was scheduled for 6pm for a 25-30 minute trip for a 6:30pm arrival.

They were 45 minutes late for a 25 minute trip!!! Their excuse was that they thought it was a 6:30pm pickup and they were even late for that. They didn't arrive to our hotel for pickup until 6:45pm. Absolutely unacceptable.

We missed the planned opportunity on greeting and welcoming all of our guests at the entrance, along with the photo opportunity as well. When I was talking to the person on the phone while we were waiting for our late ride, they were also caught off guard about the time mix up and had to double check the emails. They offered 20% refund over the phone for this service but this was a once in a lifetime event that they screwed up. It was the moment and the experience that we missed due to their mistake and there was no way these memories could be redone or replicated. I demanded a full refund for this service. He had to talk to his boss and get back to me.

It has now been 4 weeks and they still have not responded back at all. Very poor administrative/booking service. There is nothing luxurious about waiting for them to respond back to me and resolve their huge mistake. Now I have to chase after them. I definitely don't feel like a client that has been taken care of.

And to top it all off, the service from the driver/vehicle was very basic, no luxury at all. When we got settled into the car, there was no water offered, the driver did not even ask us if we were comfortable, didn't show/point to us where the controls were. At the very end, the driver didn't even get out of his seat to open the door for my wife. If you want a regular taxi ride in a really nice car, this is it.

From a company called "Luxury Limos", I definitely expected an experience of luxury and it fell extremely short of that. I will never use them ever again.

We had booked a 30 minute ride to our wedding venue on July 18th from our hotel and had confirmed via email for a 6pm pick up and 6:30pm arrival to the venue.

Not only did the company get the time of pick up wrong, the driver was 20 minutes late from the time they thought pick up was supposed to be, citing traffic. The driver had texted to say they were running 10-15min late due to traffic but we had assumed pick up was going to be 6:15pm.
At 6:20, we called the driver to ask eta and he had said he was 10min out. By 6:40pm no car had arrived yet and after calling driver and company, the driver didn't show up until 6:50pm; this is when we realized they thought pick up was for 6:30pm.

We ended up being 45 minutes late to our own wedding!

It has now been a week and we have not received any further communication from this company after being promised a resolution would come.

Mind you this was a $500 service we had purchased.

Complete disappointment is an understatement.

I had Shabee as my chauffeur for my wedding last year and he was amazing! He arrived right on time and waited patiently for my husband and I after we had gotten married to chauffeur us to our reception. After the wedding, Shabee was ready to bring us home. Everything about the experience was amazing. The vehicle was clean, there was water and snacks, and the driving was smooth. Because of Luxury limos, we were able to experience our wedding with no stress. Thank you again for a wonderful experience and thank you Shabee for being a wonderful driver on our special day!

Extremely disappointing experience at this bridal shop. The owner was not punctual and showed a very arrogant attitude throughout my visit. Most importantly the selection of wedding dresses was very limited, which made the whole appointment feel like a waste of time. Definitely would not recommend this place to future brides.

I went to several boutiques following my original appointment at Ma Cherie Bleue but nothing came close to the experience, service, knowledge, care, styles of dresses, quality of dresses, prices and honesty.

What an amazing experience! My sister (the bride) felt so seen and heard. Connie was incredible. She explained each designer and the kind of dress they make. She gave amazing advice and pulled great choices based on what my sister had picked out.
There are so many beautiful dresses to pick from and Connie was so helpful with trying them on and giving pep talks. It is INCREDIBLE how inclusive their sizes are (for bigger girls like us, this shop had most in a 10&12, so you could actually see how they fit. And they have a nice selection mini dresses for other bridal events as well as bridesmaids dresses.
They had tea and water. They let you try on as many as you want (even going over the time limit with us because they had the space). They let you take pictures. They are amazing.
Out of all the stores we’ve been to, this has been by far the best. I will compare all other bridal store experiences to this one. 10/10!!

Absolutely wonderful customer service and amazing selection! This was the first store I went to for my bridal gown and they were so helpful, I found my dress after just a few tries!
I chose the Ophelia dress, custom-made to my size. It was light-weight and comfortable, perfect for an August wedding, and it looked great in all the photos! I would highly recommend Nathalie and her team to help you find your dream dress!

I had the absolute best experience at Ma Chérie Bleue, after having had several other appointments at other bridal boutiques. I would recommend this boutique to every single bride to be.

The selection of dresses is vast, and they are all beautiful and of high quality. I found many unique dresses that I had not seen anywhere else.

All of the dresses are available to the client to see and feel, and the prices are indicated. While the person working with you will certainly help look for dresses based on your description, you can see every single dress and pick out yourself the ones you'd like to try on. Also, all the dresses are shown on the website, which is very helpful. It is also useful to note that some of the designers they carry allow you to modify your dress in production, which allows you to customize your dress but also to reduce the cost of your alterations.

The atmosphere is wonderful. You are alone in the boutique, which makes it feel cozy and intimate, and you can try on all the dresses you want. It is clear that the person helping you, as well as the owner, know what they're talking about and what they are doing and are truly motivated to help you.

The real gem of this boutique, however, is the owner, Nathale. I have never met anyone like her, and I would not want to buy such an important dress from anyone else. She has a friendly and very fun personality, but more importantly, she really knows dresses. She was able to help me customize my dress to make it fit my vision and my body. I couldn't possibly have more faith in someone for the job.

She was only a phone call away when I had questions and even showed up at the start of the evening to ensure everything went off without a hitch. We first spoke just 2 weeks before the event and she was quick to respond and provide a quote.

The delivery was right on time as were server Eva and chef Irene. They were professional and courteous, asking questions to ensure their service matched my expectations every step of the way. Guests glasses were always full and food was served perfectly warmed and on time (even adapting to our shifting schedule).

The food itself was delicious - generous portions and so tasty there was nothing left on guests' plates. I really recommend the Ahi Tuna Taco, Spinach Artichoke Feta Tarte Tatin, Shrimp Romesco Flatbread Pizza for appetizers, Pan Seared Branzino Fillet with Sage Butter Sauce and Roasted Potatoes with Caramelized Onions and Leeks. The fresh bread display with incredible dips was an unexpected delight and the lemon tart made for the perfect summer birthday cake.

To top that off, chef Irene graciously jumped into the role of group photographer in between cooking. She guided us through a couple fun photoshoots that captured the evening. Server Eva ensured everything was cleaned and left better than she found it.

I could not recommend Ma-Ro enough. It was really important for me that this event went off perfectly and I truly couldn't have done it without them. I will definitely be using them again and you should too!

It's been the third or fourth yacht party we have had Ma-ro cater for us, cannot say better things about Quincey and her team! Very active in responding, on time, consistent with the same staff, Carolina is phenomenal, even remembered what our guests drank from a party a year ago, wow! Food always on time and the entire experience was minimal on my part setting it up which made my job so much easier as i plan some of the events for our company, only rating a 5 because it won't allow me to choose a 10, spectacular! do yourself a favor and let Ma-ro handle your next function.

We were extremely pleased with our entire experience with Maro Catering from start to finish. Mauricio was flexible and accommodating in creating the perfect menu for our bridal shower. His team arrived slightly earlier than planned (which was great!) and we’re willing to help with things like setting the tables and running items from the house down to the lawn where the event was taking place. The on-site supervisor, Ramona was phenomenal; I suggest asking for her specifically.

I have used Maro for a wide spectrum of social activities including: 1. Wedding. 2. Catering cocktail party and 3. Private dining. This organization has performed spectacularly at all these levels. For the wedding, they managed the function as effectively as any private "event planner", paying close attention to all details including decor, staff and guest flow, and menu. They created an incredible ambiance based upon the wedding party's needs. For our multiple cocktail parties, they have always provided an excellent menu, and staff that were both attentive and unobtrusive creating a wonderful evening for all. And with our private dining, they created a wonderful menu, provided with service and style, allowing guests and us, as hosts, to really enjoy a magical evening.

Evyrose did an amazing job at our wedding and we're so happy we went with them! We corresponded mainly with Emily who was fantastic to work with. Our original wedding date was in 2020 but obviously we had to reschedule/rework our wedding a few times due to COVID. Evyrose made me wedding absolutely gorgeous. The flowers were exactly what I wanted - romantic, local, and plentiful. Emily & Liana were easy and fun to work with - they listened to my ideas, and when I said I didn't have much of a vision beyond "romantic" they took that and made it into a reality that I couldn't have even dreamed of. We had an extraordinarily tough time - finding out that our NYE wedding was both time limited and had a bunch of other restrictions just two weeks out. That was after our venue canceled on us and all the other inevitable snags that come with wedding planning during a pandemic. Lynzie was kind, organized, accessible, and extremely creative. Our night was perfection and she made everything so much easier. Money spent with LBL is a no brainer - you are protecting your investment and there is no price on peace of mind.

Mad Bash is an incredible company to work with. From the planning to the execution, Lynzie, Leanna, and Sharon were friendly, and professional and really worked alongside us to execute our vision. Their ideas and creativity were on point, and they are by far the best I have ever worked with. Our event, Dreamer Day 2022 would not have been nearly so successful if it hadn’t been for the sheer brilliance of their team. I cannot recommend them enough; they are simply the best!!

My partner and I came in today to browse some engagement rings for ideas and the attendant behind the counter was super enthusiastic about showing us some, it was very sweet of her! She checked in on what styles I liked and gave more options to look at based on the feedback. I was (finally) able to give a better idea to my partner what styles I'm into. We didn't purchase from them (yet) but the attendant told us that the artists are able to make customes and change aspects of a ring into something different as well (ex. Different material). Love that this store had unique engagement rings!

Worked with the Made You Look team to fix a ring that had broken and the entire team was wonderful! Honest, quick, direct, and thoughtful. When a string of gold couldn’t be fixed across the circle of my ring, they beautifully tacked the sides to make sure my ring was wearable. I’ll definitely be back!

I took my elderly mother here to have her wedding band removed that had been stuck on her finger for decades. Her joint had expanded to the point the ring wouldn't be able to fit over it at all, so it had to be cut off.

We were greeted by several friendly staff members upon arrival. Spencer did the ring removal and did a great job. It only took him a few minutes to get the ring off and with as little damage as possible to it and no discomfort to my mother. He was very kind and caring, and patient with my mother as well.

I'm not a jewelry person myself, but if I ever did have any jewelry needs I would most certainly come back here. I could see that they had a lot of different and unique pieces that offer more style and flair than what you'd see at a traditional jeweler. Very cool vibe and atmosphere there too.

Walked over here & had my good old Roamer ticker fully restored at an excellent price. The watchsmith was careful to leave it original and uncleaned … & it looks fantastic. I know this work is not easy and the price was amazing. I’m lucky to have this watch and to have found the right shop. Thank you!

I had a wonderful experience from beginning to end at Madeline's Boutique. As Mother of the Groom, Ava helped me find the perfect dress! It was a navy blue Terani Gown, which we made a few changes on it, and everything was perfect. The staff was friendly and inviting, and the seamtresses there on-site were amazing! Madeline’s had heard from the dress maker in less than 24hrs. A new dress was made for my daughter, and was delivered in Winnipeg 2 days later.

My clients (Wedding Coordinator) hosted their wedding here last Friday and this was my team’s first experience working with Madison Greenhouse.

My lead coordinator, Chelsea, worked with the venue the month before the wedding making sure all details were in place and confirmed. On the day the venue staff were wonderful and helped smooth out any wrinkles that happened over the course of the day.

It really is a beautiful venue and we really loved the layout (all the spaces are close to each other which makes things easier for guests and for vendors). It is a greenhouse so it gets hot during the summer months. It is doable but I would advise adding the big industrial fans into the room and choosing a late ceremony. I would also recommend letting guests know that it could be hot and to dress accordingly.

The bridal suites do have air conditioning units but the rest of the building is without air (something to keep in mind for planning purposes!).

That said, this is a picturesque venue and definitely worth booking if you love being surrounded by greenery!

We had the pleasure of DJing a wedding at Madison Greenhouse last weekend and it was an incredible experience from start to finish!

The space is truly one-of-a-kind, filled with lush greenery, vibrant florals, and even an indoor waterfall. It creates such a unique atmosphere for both guests and vendors. We especially loved the DJ booth covered in greenery! Such a creative touch that made this one of our fave spots to play this year.

The staff and management team were professional, accommodating, and so easy to work with. A special shout out to the management for making everything seamless on our end.

I play all varieties of music for weddings, including from different countries.

Attended my cousin’s wedding here and it was absolutely beautiful! The venue was spacious and well laid out, with a perfect-sized dance floor and a great bar area.

There were also change rooms available for the bridesmaids and groomsmen, which was such a thoughtful touch. The bathrooms were clean and easily accessible, and overall, the space was just perfect for a large celebration.

Such a wonderful venue for a wedding or any special event!

Pooja was absolutely incredible to work with. We planned our wedding at the Madison Green House on very short notice, and everything went smoothly thanks to her support and expertise. From start to finish, she was professional, patient, and incredibly understanding of our needs. She listened carefully to our vision, offered thoughtful suggestions, and helped us stay calm during what could have been a stressful time. Her attention to detail and warm, friendly attitude made the entire experience so much more enjoyable. We truly couldn’t have done it without her and are so grateful for her guidance and dedication.

The room had such a Victorian era feel, very posh and well maintained. My husband booked the room for us not knowing what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. The location next to the pub made it super fun to be able to grab dinner and drinks before turning in. The check in, while maze like, was pretty straightforward, and the check out was even easier, with the process being simply to leave the room keys in a visible area. The room service was prompt to check on our room for housekeeping. If you are not packing light, you may struggle with the stairs, but we will be coming back in the future.

Definitely very loud on a Friday night but that's to be expected when you stay beside a very popular bar in the frat and sorority area of Toronto. We didn't mind it at all and enjoyed listening to the students enjoying their Friday night. Brings us back :) The rooms are clean and the staff is kind.

I stayed there this past weekend (April 2025) and I really loved the service, the woman at the front desk was super nice and very patient with us. The location was awesome! Although Saturday evening was full of frat kids at the pub (to be expected). The bartenders at the pub were lovely, they chatted a bit with us, and the drinks were so good! if you love a nice sweet cocktail that’s the place to go! i recommend the sour key cocktail and the amsterdam blonde beer from tap was great and the food was really good too i recommend the fish tacos or simple fries were yummy as well. I do wish the view of the courtyard was better it looked a bit neglected. Overall, i loved the hotel and its location.

Have no idea how disappointed. We came for a concert, everything of the day been planned, should have just checked in then to the concert but when we actually checked in, the room was a dark basement in a house, kinda smells, the point is besides very loud drunk neighbors so we have to talk to manager, got the refund, find another actual hotel, but we late for everything. Totally a bad experience

Don't stay in this hotel if you want to have a good night sleep and rest.

The guests were into the music the whole time and the energy was spectacular. For later in the night, the DJ continued the amazing vibe and kept everyone on the dance floor.

MAIN EVENT MUSIC was hands-down one of the absolute highlights of our wedding. They were phenomenal—the dance floor was packed the entire night! From the start, they set the tone with stunning live orchestrated music during our ceremony, playing breathtaking renditions of our favorite songs.

We booked an official event with Diaspora there that's why we were a little worried about "rock" vibes, but staff in Main Stage Rehearsal is extremely flexible, friendly and professional. I have no idea how in one hour they turned the venue into completely different vibe. Everyone absolutely loved it. I know for sure we will be back there with many more events. You can trust these guys with very important events of your life, they will not disappoint!

My husband and I purchased our Chaumet wedding bands from Birks, and I cannot thank Louisa enough for her outstanding service.

Initially, we went to the Yorkdale location because it was closer to us, but unfortunately, the experience there was disappointing. I had just come out of the emergency room that day and wasn’t feeling well, we were both dressed casually, and frankly, no one at that store seemed interested in helping us. It felt like they were judging us based on how we looked.

That all changed when we drove to the Bay & Bloor location. Louisa greeted us warmly and treated us with the utmost professionalism and kindness, despite my messy hair, bare face, and casual outfit. She made us feel completely comfortable and respected. Her sincerity and patience turned everything around for us. We paid the deposit on the spot thanks to her.

honestly, unacceptable customer service at this store. my boyfriend and i came to look at engagement rings. they didn't offer us any water and treated us more as a sale. additionally, she kept asking when the engagement would be after we had looked at some rings. we said we wouldn't be getting engaged for another year or two but we wanted to get ideas going. she told us that we should come back in about 6 months before the engagement since this would be a more acceptable timeline to look at rings. this was very confusing to hear considering an engagement ring is a big commitment, and to be honest even if we were going to get engaged in the next 6 months we wouldn't have bought anything that day - the point was to look. she gave us a pamphlet (without her contact card in it) and told us to come back when we were getting ready to get engaged. this is a stark comparison to how we were treated at Tiffany's. they asked our names, offered water, asked how long we'd been together and if i had anything in mind. even though the Tiffany's sales rep knew we wouldn't be buying anything today, she told us to keep looking at other places and get a better idea of what i wanted and then i could book a second appointment. this is all to say, we won't be shopping at this Birk's anymore.

Inexperienced and rude staff. First of all, no one came to greet me after I walked in the store in 20mins. Finally an old lady came to me. I wanted to try a bracelet. She said that one is not available; however, I saw it online. Then I tried a few others, I said I still prefer the one I saw online. She tried to argue with me and ended up with whatever you like. I’m like: ?? Of course I must buy what I like. Why do you even argue with me? Not even mentioned about her incompetence. She doesn’t even know how to search a product. Every salesperson looks like temporary and knows nothing about their own products. They just can’t admit that they don’t know anything and always want to argue with the customers. Honestly, since Van Cleef closed in this location, there is no point to come to this store any more. Suggest go to Holt Renfrew on the other side of the street if you want a more professional and helpful sales person
