I couldn’t be happier with my engagement ring, and my partner’s classic gold band! Monil was fantastic to work with from the beginning to the end of the process. After providing him with ideas on the style of rings we both wanted, he provided us with 3D renderings to give us a sense of what the final products would look like, which was great. When seeing the actual rings - I was so pleased. Mine was exactly what I wanted and so was my partner’s.
Monil was also very flexible with regard to payments and fair with pricing.

I had a disappointing experience with this jeweller. I worked with them to design a custom band for my engagement ring. Unfortunately, within six months of wear, the diamond came loose. When I returned to have it tightened, I was told that the diamond was too large for the setting and that this issue would keep happening. This was never mentioned during the design process, which I would have expected as an important professional caution.

I asked if they could propose a long-term solution (and was willing to pay for it). They said they would provide a design and quote, which they never delivered on. Since then, the stone has come loose again, and I've since gone to another jeweller to solve the problem.

While the initial design was beautiful and the service was friendly, the lack of guidance, accountability, and follow-up left me extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them for custom work.

Monil was very patient and thorough when showing me all of the different stone and band designs, considering I had no knowledge of engagement rings. Once he showed me the Radiant cut with the hidden halo band, I knew it was the perfect ring for my now fiancée.

I went to several jewellers in the Toronto area, but Valour Diamonds beat the rest both in terms of quality and customer service.

Monil made the process so easy. He guided me to the right size and type of diamond to get, and created the exact ring that I needed for my engagement. Definitely recommend Valour Diamonds, they will take care of you.

Go see Vanessa at ADX! My fiancé had a great experience working with her to design me a custom engagement ring (and it's breathtaking!). She's friendly, honest, and explains things without judgement. We went back to ADX for our wedding bands and went back and forth with Vanessa over multiple visits and emails (she was extremely patient with us), but ultimately I fell in love with a ring elsewhere. Hi am OBSESSED with my engagement ring. I was able to go in, pick out the stone and setting that I liked with my loved ones. I wish I had a before picture of my jewelry. I didn’t have much hope my ring bringing it in, but They did such a great job with fixing it, that it looked almost brand new ! It cracked in 2 , black with oxidation and barely round. They even fixed my necklace and got it back all shiny again. They were even able to clean all the silver jewelry I had brought in instantly. My partner’s Rolex clasp had been coming undone for years, something he just dealt with every single day. We finally stopped into the shop, and within five minutes they had it fixed… for free. It was such a simple gesture, but their kindness made the whole experience feel special.

I came in to get the pin on my watch fixed, and not only did they repair it quickly, but they also did it completely free of charge. It was such a kind gesture and truly appreciated. Excellent and honest service, highly recommend!

So happy about the resizing of my engagement ring! It was a size 6 and I thought I needed a size 3. After mesurement at Atelier Lou, my finger was a size 4. The work was done in a day and only for a 100$! Very grateful because two jewelers told me it wasn’t possible to reduce the size and that it was going to need an entire remodel (which was about 1000$ according to both jewelers). Very unprofessional, rescheduling meetings without telling me, not showing up for meetings which I have previously booked. They’re a scam, they tried to take my rings immediately even knowing I had appointments with other jewelers. I said I wanted a sketch of the ring before moving forward and they never sent one.

I’m usually not a fan of shopping (like, ever), but my visit to Lavigueur Bijouteries totally changed that. I went in just looking for my first watch (which I ended up buying—it’s absolutely gorgeous and I’m kind of obsessed with it). The staff were so friendly and welcoming, answering all my questions without making me feel rushed or awkward.

One of the sales associates was especially awesome—super sweet, easy to talk to, and made the whole thing feel really chill. She even upsold me a pair of diamond earrings (I didn’t need them, but now I love them). I honestly left the store in a good mood, which is not how shopping usually goes for me.

I was in need of a silver coloured watch and checked out Lavingueur's website, seeing they had a few that I really liked. Both clerks were very helpful and they had a great selection. Several brands were 30% off, so I bought 2 watches. Very happy with this jewellery store.

Needed to get the battery replaced on my watch and heard through a friend that they can do this. Went in and was immediately served. Both employees working were very friendly and when I was told how it would cost to replace the battery, I was surprised how reasonable the price was. Only waited around five minutes for the change of batteries, paid and was on my way.
The service was fantastic and I will be recommending them to family and friends going forward.

From the first few minutes of my first call to him until picking up my final piece just pure professionalism and honesty. I did not read the reviews prior but I am finding it hard to say something that is not been said already in every review. I had a "Buyer beware experience" with a diamond ring I purchased 11 months before meeting Dave. And I had a 52 year old gold ring my mom left me with a black heart shaped hematite. I wanted Dave to design something using the diamonds and heart that I would be able to wear every single day and not worry about it being precious! The final outcome was more beautiful and precious to me then anything I could of ever found in any jewelry store. I believe my mom would be as pleased as I am with our ring. I cannot thank Dave enough, I hope knowing its worn everyday is thanks enough!! Highly highly recommend Dave to anyone thinking of doing a custom jewelry job.

I just worked with David for the second time on a custom design. This was a Black Opal purchased in Australia. (Previously David had set my Boulder Opal in a beautiful pendant for me which is pictured on his website.).
David also did a rebuild of a ring that was my mother’s that was 61 yr old. The band was worn paper thin and the claws had all been rubbed down. David built it all up and restored to its original beauty and guaranteed the security of the stones for many years to come. The ring has great sentimental value and to see it how it was so many years ago has meant the world to me.
This time David set my stone in a ring and it is amazingly beautiful. He took his time fine tuning his original ideas, after I offered feedback and came back with a design even more beautiful and unique than I could have imagined. He was great about being honest about the challenges of finding the right gemstones for the accents on the side. Knowing the stone I originally wanted might not appear as clear and colourful in the size we would be using. We pivoted and he was great at giving me other options. I’m thrilled with the result. The Opal I bought was stunning and with David’s design we turned it into an amazing ring that really shows off its beauty.

Daniel’s Jewellers on Queen East is amazing! They repaired some of my older jewelry and honestly brought it back to life — the pieces look incredible. And the vintage clothing downstairs is such a fun bonus, so many cool finds. This place is a must!

Stumbled on this cute hidden shop on queen street east. I always pass by this store and but I never come in. Today, I decided to give it a try and check out the clothing downstairs. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! So many brand names with such good deal! And I had to get 3 pcs from them including a Lascote from them for 20$!!! Amazing so I need to shout out for them!
