Allan was absolutely incredible! After my mother damaged her engagement ring and needed a repair, we came to him to see what could be done. He modernized it and gave it a new life. At the same time we brought my late grandmother’s ring asking for it to be modernized and he suggested it that it be kept as is but turned into a pendant so that it could be worn more often. He took such amazing care of both sentimental pieces and will definitely have more business from our family.

We started shopping around for an anniversary ring a few months back. I had booked three different appointments in one day. DFL was our first stop. We didn't intend to make any purchases during our initial visit, but within 5 minutes of meeting Serko, we knew we found the jeweler we wanted to work with. And yes, we made a purchase that day! He constantly reminded me that my happiness was his top priority; and I truly felt like he meant it. These are large purchases, and Serko is aware of how important your satisfaction is. I appreciate how approachable he always is. I can't say enough about how STUNNING my ring is. The diamond itself is obviously incredible, but so is the craftsmanship. You can see by the quality, that they are true masters at what they do. I've already purchased an eternity band to match my new ring. My experience at La Maison D’Or was everything I could have dreamed of, being someone who has no experience whatsoever in purchasing diamonds or jewelry of any kind for that matter.

I had the pleasure of having Arpi as my consultant when it came to finding the perfect engagement ring for my fiancée. Upon entering La Maison D’Or for the first time, Arpi made me feel as if all of my needs, interests and aspirations mattered. When discussing my budgetary restrictions towards finding a ring I could afford, (while at the same time, finding a diamond that would look perfect), Arpi understood where I was coming from and immediately showcased various options I could choose from regarding lab-made and naturally-made diamonds.

Arpi was able to guide me through the whole process of how I could size the ring for my fiancée and how I could be able to afford such a ring through a scheduled payment process. Additionally, when it came to having my ring put on a rush order so I could propose to my fiancée at a newly desired date and time, Apri and her colleagues, Laura and Erica were able to provide me with timely and routinely scheduled updates on the status of my order.

I came to resize my two rings and I was so surprise that it was ready on the same day. I highly recommend them specially if you are looking to resize or do some repair for your jewelry. The quality of work is very smooth. They charge in a very decent price than other jewelry shops around downtown that gives way over the price.

Next day re-sizing with quality work and very affordable services! Saved me a good $50-100 by going to a bigger retailer for a simple re-sizing. The team was very friendly and took the time to cut my ring while I was on site so I could test out sizes.

What a wonderful place! I phoned yesterday to inquire about a scratch on my engagement ring (bought elsewhere). The gentleman on the phone was friendly and helpful. He said to bring the ring in the following morning and it be done by 2pm, and it was. Plus I had it resized last minute too. Such a fast turnaround. I had two rings sized here. I called and they told me to drop them off on the Friday afternoon and they were ready by mid afternoon Monday. Given they are closed weekends this was an amazing turn around time as everywhere I had called said at least a week. Both gentlemen there were extremely friendly! Idk how I got into watches around Covid but I did. Wasn’t shopping for a watch but wanted to have a look at some high end-ish watches at Birk’s in Chinook. Asked about Tissot and they directed me to Lugaro across the way. Never noticed it despite always being in Chinook. Much to my surprise they had a huge Tissot section and Troy let me play around. I ended up walking out with a PRX. Ironically, I had just returned a PRX from Amazon because it was 35mm which was my mistake. Thanks for being so inviting and helpful Troy.
