The delivery team was outstanding. They really went above and beyond to protect the furniture as well as our home. Such respectful delivery staff are a gem in today’s world. We will not hesitate to do business with Dala again and will give them a glowing recommendation to friends.

Each time we have made a purchase from Dala, the experience has been positive. In store, you can browse the many options at your leisure without any pressure. Received 3 beautiful stools from Dala Decor, I sent them the option I wanted and they sourced them for me ! Unfortunately the first stool I purchased back in November kept being on back order (until May) but the team was great at helping me find an alternative which worked out even better. Amazing service/Delivery from Damon and Fairouz. They brought my stools in, unpackaged them and added felt to the bottom. 10/10 recommend.

We received our dresser and the nightstands and we loved them but what we loved more was the delivery people. Kyle and Damon were very friendly and polite and did an amazing job of unpacking and moving the items upstairs and positioning them the exact way we wanted. We would be happy to see them again in our next purchases and deliveries.

After being disappointed with thrift shops in Toronto and Montreal because of high pricing and bad quality of clothes - visiting Darling Vintage was beyond my expectations. Great collection, clean clothes ( not worn down ), everything is appropriately priced. Bought 2 skirts, a green bodycon dress and earrings - very happy with the experience. Well maintained shop, the person at front desk was welcoming and polite.

Best shopping experience I've probably ever had. Firstly, I was left alone to shop privately without being greeted, which is a huge POSITIVE, because as a socially anxious and slightly autistic person, being greeted and spoken to at a boutique immediately as I walk in makes me die inside and extremely uncomfortable. I was completely left alone and I LOVED it because it allowed me to feel like I wasn't being hovered over, didnt make me feel like I was being pressured, I was just free to take my time, enjoy myself, and go through all of the dresses. I had such a good time. It was very therapeutic and blissful to shop here from that aspect alone. I purchased two higher priced vintage dresses with ease. It was very nice to have the dresses at the front of the store and then go to the back in order to make the purchase in a hidden little nook. Just 10/10 design. I will happily return for all of my dress shopping needs. I even bought a vintage dress that I had seen a similar version of from houseofcb but I got a much better, higher quality version at darling vintage and for a third of the price of some fast fashion name brand. I hesitated going here for a while, glad I stopped in just by chance. The employee is also such a beautiful sweetheart. I'd return just to see her again tbh 😭💞

A wonderful vintage shop we found spontaneously today. Great pricing (loved the $5 bin!), beautiful clothing, and we got some jewelry too. The staff were so friendly— we will definitely be coming back here often!

I got my wedding dress from David’s Bridal, and the moment I saw it, I knew it was the one. After trying it on, I decided to make a few changes—transforming it into an off-shoulder gown with removable straps, giving me three styling options: off-shoulder, with straps, or strapless. The alterations team at David’s Bridal made this possible through several appointments, and they transformed my dress beautifully. On my wedding day, it fit flawlessly and perfectly captured the elegance I had imagined. I am truly grateful to the alterations team for their skill and dedication in making my dress both dreamy and stunning.

My bride tribe (including flower girls) and I went to try on dresses. I fell in love with the first dress I tried on. I did try on 3 in total and turned away 1. My girls looked fabulous. The bridal party is wearing a beautiful Red Corset dress (they didn’t have the right colour to try on but the bright dress). They look very gorgeous and sexy. The flower girls look so sweet and angelic in their sweet white dresses and veils. I love my dress and feel like a princess (I’ve been given tons of compliments).
The staff were friendly and helpful. Our appointment was from 1:30-3:30pm but we did go over by about 2 -ish hours by the time we got out of there. We got to look at dresses and we told them the ones we liked and consultant grabbed the ones we liked in our size. We even took her thoughts as well. Everything was simple and easy. There was a bit of a technology problem when cashing out (they got it figured out quickly). They have a large selection of shoes/footwear at a great price point. I highly recommend. I did get to speak to the seamstress and prices seemed reasonable from the quote I was given. This review is solely based on my initial interaction with them. I will add more reviews when the bridal parties dresses come in and when we do alterations.

I was really happy with the purchase of my bridesmaid dress, and I thought the price was reasonable, but when it came to the alterations which were almost double the cost of the dress I was pretty shocked. I was even more surprised when the dress was way too tight to the point of pain and the cups that I paid to have sewn in … the stitches didn’t stay. I’m thankful I took off the fee for steaming because I didn’t even have to. I was really happy with the purchase side of the entire experience, but not the alterations. I have another wedding coming up that I’m a bridesmaid in again and I will potentially be buying my dress from here, but will definitely not get my alterations done there!

I had wanted to redesign my wedding rings and diamond pendant with my mother’s diamond jewellery into one ring and one necklace and I chose Davidson’s Jewellers because of their professional (and friendly) service and I trust them with my jewellery. Absolutely beautiful artificial plants in high quality planters! I had previously purchased artificial plants from a well publicized brand that were so incredibly bad looking I searched for a better option, and thankfully, came across Véronneau. The plants were well packaged and arrived quickly. They have added beauty to my home and I look forward to getting more.

I ordered a large hanging plant and two small succulent with rootball smaller hanging pieces for a memory care unit in Windsor Ontario. I was not disappointed they arrived beautifully packaged with care to protect them. The craftsmanship was beyond my expectations and they truly look amazing. Julien was a wonderful emcee and DJ at our wedding this year. He was an excellent communicator leading up to our event, easy going and really had our guest partying during the night. He also brought in a photo booth and it ended up being a huge hit with our guests, and now we have even more photos to remember our wedding night. Highly recommend!

Hiring David and Ron was the best decision we made for our wedding. We wanted a DJ who would have everyone on the dance floor ALL night and they did not disappoint! They were great to work with and played hit after hit. We also had a family band play during the wedding and David and Ron helped coordinate their equipment to ensure everything sounded amazing.

Absolutely amazing DJ! Read the crowd perfectly, kept the energy up all night, and made my 50th birthday bash unforgettable. Guests aged 20 to 70 were dancing non-stop! Super flexible, accommodating, and added personal touches like a tribute song for my grandmother and special tunes for my visiting Acadian crew. So many guests asked if I could throw a party every month—highly recommend DJ DEEZ!!

We had to change the venue for our event last minute, Ron was so accommodating and had all the technical skills to make every part of the event wonderful. From booking to completion working with David and Ron is an absolute pleasure and they were a very big part of the success of the event. They don't just understand music, they understand people!

Ordered my daughter's 1st birthday cake with 2 dozens of cupcakes here. It was a marble cake, cupcakes were vanilla and chocolate. Everything was not just pretty but they tasted great! Cake and cupcakes were moist. Icing/frosting was not extremely sweet.

Cheesecake not as advertised. The look was not exactly as the photo depicted on their website since the picture does not indicate chocolate sprinkles but that's certainly something to look past. The part that lowers their score is the fact that the insides were not white chocolate and the crust was certainly not chocolate crumb. They know how to make a cheesecake because it was certainly nice and rich but I just think they should update to what it is in reality. I wanted something that was classy and different and this wasn't it.

I've had food allergies since I was a kid. It's wonderful to walk into a bakery and be 100% carefree. Options are all lovely, and some selections for sugar-free and gluten-free.

Delightful Tastes was amazing! They were listed as one of the "preferred vendors" from my venue, but a co-worker also recommended them from her wedding. So glad we scheduled this tasting, because out of 5 cake places we tried, Delightful Tastes had the best cake. It was very moist, so you almost don't even need frosting. We went with Vanilla and Chocolate classic, and it was SO delicious. We did have a minor issue with our previous consultant leaving and not including all the design details, but I received a call back from the owner to ensure it was all resolved prior to the wedding, and he offered to provide the cake stand complimentary for the mix-up. Very pleased with the service and, of course, the cake!

You're paying a lot for aesthetics ONLY! The cake was overcooked and very dry - I've made tastier cakes from a DuncanHines box. We paid for marble but received chocolate. Everyone from children to grandparents agreed - the icing was excessively sweet. Had to pay for delivery as pick-up is not an option - paid for delivery between 9am-noon, but the cake didn't arrived until after 4:30pm (when we called and asked where our cake was?). Maybe they forgot to make it and gave us the display model.... would explain the taste!

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spacious and clean. The air worked well and the fridge was cold. The shower pressure was fantastic. The beds are so comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. I would stay here again anytime. I would also recommend staying here to anyone.

Very nice place to stay, room was clean and had a great view of the city. Hotel is easy to get too and a central location for my needs. The staff were amazing from check in to parking everyone was very friendly and professional, hadn’t had that kind of service in awhile. Plenty of underground parking and the valets were kind of enough to let me park out front while I ran some errands and checked out. Highly recommend this place

A great business and tourist hotel. Access from the airport via OTrain is easy; the Lyon stop is literally across the street from the Delta. Great front desk service. The basic rooms are good and clean. But this old girl is showing her age; hallway carpets are showing wear; smallish over renovated bathrooms, coffee machines in the closet 😂, ancient tech amenities that used to be cool now look really dated. But overall this is good value in a great location despite some very small but noticeable details.

I would not recommend this hotel for business stays due to poor service reliability. During my visit, there was no hot water in the shower. Despite calling the front desk three times, the issue was never resolved — I was simply told to “keep the water running.” Even something as basic as room key activation required two trips to the front desk. If you’re booking for business travel where time and comfort are important, you may want to consider alternative accommodations.

Vacation for a week with Kids:
Hotel is a great location - easy walking to all fun touristy stuff.
Room Cleaning Staff - Top Notch - Our house keeper was incredible.
Bell Hops - Also go above and beyond!
Pool - Had floaty mats and basketball nets kids enjoyed - The pool deck gets pretty gross and not cleaned often.
Gym - Excellent - Good selection and clean
Kids play room - Fun - has ping pong and other games
Front desk has board games you can use as well that we enjoyed.
Club Lounge - Food was stale and boring - we stayed for a week and it was the same thing every day breakfast and dinner and most of breakfast stuff tasted day old and not fresh. Not much selection.

Denis and Ruth were wonderful to work with for our custom engagement ring. They provided detailed information to help us make an informed decision on the design choices and guide us along our way. We never felt like they were pressuring us into buying anything and they never tried to upsell. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and we will definitely be back in the future.

I had the best experience working with Denis and Ruth from the moment I contacted them with my idea to the receipt of the ring. Communication was super speedy throughout the whole process, and their knowledge and expertise showed through in the design and recommendations given towards it. I went in to redesign my engagement ring, where they took the pear diamond and worked it into this new design - which was identical to the brainstorming we'd done. They also picked out this stunning radiant-cut diamond that was able to match the pear perfectly. Can't recommend them enough!

I have used Brenda's services in the past on a number of occasions and have always been very pleased. Over the last several years, i booked simple trips online, thinking that i am saving money and time. I am very glad I turned to Brenda this time though. She helped us solve a problem we had run into trying to book a multi- stop trip for three going to three different countries and then having kids return from Europe to Ottawa separately from a parent and at a later date (extended visit with grandparents). Brenda was able to solve in less than 24 hours what i had been trying to figure out for over two weeks doing research, comparing, and wasting time online, as i ended up not been able to find a solution anyway and ready to give up on this idea altogether. Brenda found tickets for the children on very reliable airlines, with straightforward itinerary, and at a good price, especially considering that we are traveling during the high season and a booking pretty much last minute. The tickets came with a free tips and advice on what to keep in mind for the children's trip back alone.

When our trip was cancelled, Brenda pressured us to rebook and threatened that if we didn't we would lose money. Upon rebooking, we were
charged a cancellation fee. It was cancelled multiple more times. Each time WE paid the cancellation fee and the price of the trip increased.

We had a large group of 27 people and were offered only a few options of resorts, the one that we chose was horrible and several of our group were very sick. The worst resort I have ever stayed in for the highest price I’ve ever paid - what was the point of having a travel agent for that?

Lucky Silva is amazing! He catered our small event this weekend and we couldn't have been happier with the food and the kind, professional service. We enjoyed a scrumptious assortment of pastries, muffins, fresh fruit, cheeses, and coffee/tea, juice. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed it, including our vegan guests who were shocked at how good the vegan treats were! This was an event that took place right after a snowstorm, and yet Lucky arrived with a smile and helped us set everything up in time for our guests. On top of everything, Lucky is kind, calm and super professional. A delight to work with planning this get together and I will definitely contact him again for future events!

Amazing experience having Chef Lucky do a Celebratory dinner for 8 in my home. Each course was absolutely delicious and myself and my guests were blown away by his professionalism and his friendly presence and explanation of courses throughout.
He absolutely delighted all when I shared he quietly handed me a meal for my sister who was unable to attend as she was in hospital!

We like to customise purchases, i.e. we buy custom built computers, so we appreciated the ability to personalise every detail of our jewellery. This is the only place that I purchase quality jewelry from. I have known Pamela for years. Her designs, and the quality of all of her pieces, is exceptional. Great customer service, gems that you won’t see anywhere else.

I have been wearIng Pamela’s earrings for at least a decade, and can’t imagine wearing anything else. They are of extraordinary quality and beautiful design. I have about 10 pairs of drops for U-shaped keepers, and just ordered a pair of fossilized bryozoan stones on shepherd’s hooks. They are so elegant and look fabulous with the platinum settings. Pamela is a genius and terrific to work with.

Working with Pamela is an absolute delight. I found Disegno quite by accident and I am so glad I did. Pamela was able to adapt an otter pendant design she already had to personalise it as a way to honour my mum. The final piece has earned me more compliments and questions as to where it came from than I can count. Pamela is fantastic - a true artist and expert - and Disegno will be my go-to.

Pamela's work is exquisite! Many of her creations—and I've bought quite a few—are also flexible in how they can be used, which means you can buy different stones for the same basic earring, for instance. Her online shopping service is also first rate, and she personally checks in to make sure your package has arrived safely.
Besides all that, she has an unerring sense of colour, knowing what gems will be the best match for an individual. And she is a walking encyclopedia on the gems themselves!
Oh, and did I say very fairly priced? Just a wonderful person and place to shop.
