Always a great experience. We ordered our wedding bands from here and they were ready within a week. Owner is super helpful and kind. He cleaned my rings for free and resized my husband’s ring within an hour after we dropped in. Highly recommend and always happy to support this local business.

I have a silver necklace that broke, and Mike took care of it very well. With a piece so sentimental to me, he fixed the broken clasp and polished it perfectly. It looks brand new.

The service was excellent. The gentleman I dealt with took the time to show me many selections before my purchase. He was.friendly and professional. I highly recommend this jewel store.

Enjoyed some shade on a sunny day with a great view. We indulged in dessert and cappuccinos and the flavours were unique and fresh with lovely presentation, and reasonable portions. I did make reservations and it was fairly quiet when we arrived around 11:30 AM but it was getting busier as we left. The service was attentive and friendly (Laurent). There is plenty of seating and a lot of covered options if you are concerned about too much sun or rainy weather. I would love to return for evening drinks sometime soon!

Just down from parliament, you will find La Terrassa.
We came for lunch after touring some of the government spots.
Was not too busy, and we had reservations made.

Our first drink orders came out quick, but re-orders not so quick.
Plenty of seating both in the sun or shaded. There is also a small bar area.
We ordered the Chefs choice cheese and charcuterie board, Juniper Farm's fresh greens, cold noodle salad, and Salami Calabrese épicé pizza
From my viewing point, I could see the orders coming out from the outdoor kitchen.
Food does get taken to customers very quickly once placed out.
The Pizza was below grade. Box pizza is better. The charcuterie board was not worth the price and is by far over priced.
Salads were the only thing that was more appealing for the price point.

Staff observation.
They seem not to have a dedicated server as our drink orders were taken by several staff and staff are all over.

Overall:
I honestly think that what you get and what you pay for is out of balance.
This is by no means a location i would recommend for quality and value food.
This location is more for the scenery and to flash your cash.
So if you like low quality value with an expensive tab , then this is your spot.

The charcuterie and cheese boards were mid. Service was really good. But the improvised setting is not as comfortable.

While staying at the fairmont we were told about fireworks one that were happening so booked a reservation so we could watch them. We went down for our reservation to have some apps and a few drinks.
Our table was nice with a decent view of the fireworks.
We ordered the beer flight.
A pint of beer ( local so im not sure what i had).
A sangria and
A glass of wine.
Food we had pizza and garlic fries. There was 5 of us.
Now
The beer flight is expensive you get 5 different beer. It is 25 dollars for 5 glasses that are 5 ounces. ( 25 oz is $25) and they all tasted flat. So disappointing.
The local pint of beer i had also tasted flat. I gave up no more beer.
The sangria was good and the wine was good.
The pizza was soggy when you picked up a piece everything slide off so you were just left with the crust. The fries were ok nothing spectacular.
We had 2 different times 2 different servers try to bring us someone else's order. They asked if who had this. We told them no one as we were already eating ours. Then 5 mins later someone else tried to bring us someone else's dinner.

I was graciously invited to eat dinner here, but I would not go back or recommend this restaurant. The staff are not welcoming and the food is subpar for what it costs. The view is worth it

We recently had a wedding at Lago and it was everything we wanted and more!

From the very beginning Gyneya and her staff were amazing. They are very detail oriented and do everything in their power to take all the stress off of you and onto them. Your wedding is their priority and they want your vision to come to life. Their pricing is very fair and transparent.

We were in the Vista room (upstairs) with around 80 guests and it was the perfect size. The dance floor was able to be open all night and no tables needed to be moved after dinner.

The food is phenomenal! Many of our guests made specific points to us on how great the food was. And as a bonus the portion sizes are large too!

I used to work for a catering company as a server for weddings and have been to many venues. I can say this is the best venue I've ever been to and cannot recommend it enough!

The cheesecake is also out of this world!! We had a handful of guests make the point to let us know it was the best cheesecake they ever had.

If you're still reading this, stop! And book your date already before it's booked up.

We held our wedding reception at Lago this past spring, and it was exactly what we had prayed for. The space was inviting and well-organized, with a sensible layout that worked well for our guests. We especially appreciated its interior industrial design and beautiful views of Dow’s Lake.

Planning with Gyneya and her team — including Kayly, Kim, and others — made all the difference. They were welcoming, efficient, and generous. Even during our reception, Lago’s staff members were incredibly kind, considerate, and accommodating, all of which contributed to a smooth and enjoyable evening.

The food was excellent — fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully plated. Our guests' favorite dishes included the fried halloumi cheese skewer hors d'oeuvres, the heirloom tomato salad appetizer, and the braised beef short rib entrée. Gyneya and her team were very flexible with our dietary requests. Service throughout the night was attentive and well-paced.

We're so pleased to have chosen Lago for our wedding reception and would confidently recommend it to any engaged couple looking for a great planning experience and a memorable wedding celebration!

My Daughter got married there last night and it was perfect. The venue was just the right size for the event, we had the service first and while the family left for pictures, the staff set up for appetizers and dinner. Appetizers were a selection of deep fried cheese sticks and spring rolls etc. they were all done perfectly and sauces were delicious. Dinner did not disappoint either, there was a choice of salmon, strip loin steak or risotto. They again were perfect. Crème Brûlée was the finishing touch and was spot on. The staff and the facility was so polite and polished I couldn’t say enough about them. Gyneya coordinated a fabulous evening. As for the room itself, the lighting was beautiful and a perfect backdrop was a warm evening on Dow’s lake. I hope this doesn’t come across as AI because it was real and for our Daughter and Son-in-Law it was perfect. Thank you.

Amazing wedding venue! Staff were amazing all night :) Food was delicious. It’s nice that it’s on the water so you can hangout outside if you want as well.

My husband and I got married here last month. This place is a hidden gem in my opinion. You get a whole wedding package, amazing food choices, and the staff goes through the whole planning process and schedule with you. You bring your own decorations but they set everything up for you. It’s also so affordable compared to other venues. They made the whole experience easy.

This is a review that should have been given years ago and is definitely well deserved. I have been dealing with this insurance broker for well in excess of 30 years. I have my car, truck, boat, ATV and home all insured through them and any dealings with them is always quick, efficient and pleasant, not to mention the rates I pay are in my opinion very reasonable. While I’ve been fortunate that I have not had to put through too many claims over the years, any dealings in that regard have also been nothing short of positive and fair. They always make me feel that my business is important to them and any inquiries or adjustments to my policies are always addressed in a quick and professional manner. I highly recommend them. Great work!!

I had a wonderful experience at the flower shop thanks to Haani. She was incredibly helpful and creative, she took the time to help me choose the perfect plant and planter combination, and even added some extra moss to complete the look. Her eye for detail and friendly approach made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

I’ve ordered from them before but I was particularly impressed with them this time, on Mother’s Day. It wasn’t just how beautiful the flowers were—even adding some extra touches not shown in the image online—but also their customer service. They were kind and helpful and worked overtime to get us our flowers.

For more detail: I ordered a beautiful flower arrangement and a spa gift for my mom for Mother’s Day, but our area has a lot of theft of packages off of porches, and when we found some plastic packaging on our porch we were sure the flowers had been stolen. We were bummed. But when I called Langdon’s Flowers, the kind woman on the phone let me know they actually hadn’t gotten to our house yet. They track their deliveries very accurately. She let me know they deliver from 8 am to 8 pm so there were still a few hours.

8 pm came and went and we were worried they had delivered and it DID get stolen, but at 8:30 ish they arrived, and the delivery girl was SO sweet. She apologized for being late, we were second to last of the day, but she was working later than she should’ve been, just so could get all the flowers out for Mother’s Day and my mom was so thrilled to see her! It was honestly my fault that I forgot to select a time for delivery, and I’m just really impressed with their dedication to getting these flowers out. (Also I then got an email notifying me that the delivery was completed; so for anyone with a similar situation, just check your emails for confirmation!)

The flowers are gorgeous, and they added some extra touches I wasn’t even anticipating. And the spa set smells like heaven. Including a photo of one of the roses because it’s so perfect lol.)

Truly the best in the business! I've placed two delivery orders online from BC with ease. I've received a call from them within 15 minutes of placing the orders to confirm everything and discuss any substitutions if required. My most recent order was delivered to the recipient within 3 hours of placing the order online. Both arrangements were stunning and incredible quality. Highly recommend using Langdon's Flowers for all your floral needs!

Just walked down the canal to the park and shops. Scenic walk and rich history area.

Lots of fun at Landsdowne park. Hubby and I have gone to the cinema and enjoyed the restaurants and bars. There is a delightful farmers market that you have to check out. We have attended activities in the horticulture building and salsa danced in the plaza. Great place and be sure to check out all the activities.

I love coming here in the winter with my children to skate on the outdoor rink and toboggan on the hill next to TD Place.

This park space is great, as you can skate most of the winter thanks to the refrigerated rink, and play basketball in the warmer months when the rink is converted into a basketball court. As for the hill and field, what is a perfect spot for tobogganing in the winter becomes an ideal area for everything from hosting music festivals to offering great green space to play in.

Lansdowne Park has really been revamped over the years. There are several pedestrian paths and some paid parking off to the side. There is a nice event space in Aberdeen Pavilion as well as some restaurants and Cineplex. The aesthetics are there but could use more varied or local shops in the franchise mix.

Great shop with amazing and very unique pieces! Nikki is absolutely wonderful and has an amazing eye for some rare gems. I've been shopping at her store both online and in person for a few years and there is always a selection of amazing things that she's found! She is also THE spot to go to if you are looking for vintage leather or other jackets!

Nikki has a gift for sourcing really awesome vintage pieces but I’d avoid purchasing them from her online.

I’m a pretty understanding person but this is the second time I haven’t received something I’ve paid for and when I reached out in February for an update on something purchased back in December (that had not yet been updated through the app) she opted to disable the chat. Thanks for that!

This is by far my favourite vintage shop in Gatineau/Ottawa area, prices are fair, owner is super nice and there's always something new and funky! Worth the detour if passing through.

I always have a good experience when I shop at Laura's in the St. Laurent Shopping Centre. Lidia Andreeva is an amazing sales person. She has been looking after me for 16 years. She knows what I like and is honest in her opinion re colour and fitting. I have never been disappointed at Laura's.

I have had the most horrible experience with a very expensive dress that I recently purchased for my son's wedding from your store and company. It was a long blue dress with sparkles/glitter. Looked beautiful until you wore it. I was covered in glitter from the dress to the point that my body looked bruised. The glitter was literally falling off the dress and sticking to my body and everything that I came in contact with. I was mortified! I was embarrassed and horrified!!! I was unable to hug my son at his own wedding because of the glitter peeling from the dress. I couldn't hug my new daughter in law, or my other son, NO ONE because the glitter on dress was literally falling off and attaching itself to anything and anyone that it came into contact with. I do NOT recommend your services or clothing to anyone! 🤬 Extremely poor quality for the money.

I went to this amazing place for the first time yesterday to meet a friend, and I had such a wonderful experience! Huge shoutout to TAYLOR Honestly, you made my whole visit unforgettable! So kind, so caring, and truly went above and beyond. It felt less like customer service and more like being welcomed by a friend who wants you to have the best time ever. The interior design was beautiful, and the cheesecake was absolutely delicious. 🍰 I can already tell this will be one of my new go-to spots!

I was a bit disappointed with my meal overall, though there were a few highlights.

The salmon tartare was overly spicy, which unfortunately masked the natural freshness and delicate flavor of the salmon. The avocado mousse that accompanied it was also quite spicy, which didn’t help balance the dish. I was hoping for more freshness and contrast, but everything felt a bit overpowering.

The bruschetta was another letdown. The tomatoes tasted like they had been prepped the day before – not spoiled, but just shy of fresh. It gave the impression that the dish had been sitting a while, which took away from the typical bright, juicy flavor you’d expect from good bruschetta.

The side salad came without any dressing, which made it quite plain. Even a light vinaigrette would’ve elevated it significantly.

That said, the calamari were absolutely excellent – crispy, fresh, and full of flavor. Definitely the highlight of the meal and a big yes from me.

Overall, some dishes showed potential, but the experience lacked the freshness and balance I was expecting.

10/10 experience and will be back for sure! Cannot recommend this place enough. Hano was very helpful when I called to make a reservation for my dad’s 65th. The entire team was also very easy to work with and accommodating, our server was particularly nice and made awesome recommendations. 10/10 food and drinks and I particularly enjoyed the gnocchi. It also happened to be a Jazz night which was really fun to attend.

The atmosphere at Lavender Grill is absolutely beautiful—warm, intimate, and effortlessly stylish. With its dim lighting and cozy seating, it’s the perfect spot for a night out with friends or a romantic date. The touches of hanging lavender added a lovely, elegant charm to the space; I just wish it was used more consistently throughout the restaurant, as it really elevated the ambiance where it was present.

Our server, Shelley, was fantastic—so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. She really enhanced our dining experience with her thoughtful recommendations. Thanks to her, we tried the pomegranate margarita and the gnocchi, and both were a hit. The margarita was refreshing with just the right balance of sweet and tart, and the gnocchi was rich, pillowy, and full of flavour.

All in all, a wonderful evening!

Such a cozy little spot! We stopped by for tea and roll cake and both were really tasty fresh, light, and full of flavour. The place has such a warm vibe with the samovar, flowers, and even a lavender candle burning. You can tell everything is homemade with love.

They also had a beautiful selection of desserts like Iranian baklava and unique cheesecakes (lavender-lime and toranj looked amazing!). Definitely a place I’ll come back to whenever I’m craving good pastries and a relaxing atmosphere

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. We came from Toronto to Ottawa for 2–3 days to celebrate my daughter’s birthday (she is turned 4 ) at Parc Omega, and after the park we wanted to mark the occasion with a small cake. Through Google I found this place, and it truly exceeded every expectation. The atmosphere is beautiful, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the two desserts we randomly chose were very fresh and also absolutely delicious. This place truly deserves 10 stars! The lime and lavender cheesecake might be the best dessert in the world. Every corner of this cozy, warm, and charming spot feels picture-perfect. A heartfelt thank you to every single staff member who made our experience so special.

It has become one of my favorite bakeries! It’s a fusion with Middle Eastern flavors—great quality and very unique tastes. I love their cheesecakes, pie and pistachios items! This time, they looked even more delicate since some of them changed the shape! for cheese cake, It is not too sweet and light texture. They enhance the flavor in creative ways, like adding edible herbs, flowers, or blending in natural ingredients. My favorite is the Toranj flavor!

A cute little cafe to get a drink and a piece of delicious pastries. A bit crowded on a weekend! The ambience is amazing but the pastries are overpriced! For example, 9$ is a bit much for a piece of cheesecake! Also, there are only a few options available to choose. I hope they’re able to offer more on their menu in the future. Service is also good.

I had the pleasure of coordinating a wedding at Lavender Ridge Farm this past weekend and was blown away by how wonderful this venue is! From the start, the team (Tania, Dave & Feddie) was incredible to work with. The ceremony site was fully set up well in advance, so all we had to do was add our own decorations. They went above and beyond with thoughtful touches—turning on every candle and tea light for us and even refreshing the outdoor flower pots by picking out any blooms that were starting to wilt so everything looked perfect.

You can tell they really care and take so much pride in the space. The property is gorgeous and fits about 100 guests super comfortably—such a beautiful spot for a wedding. They might be a newer venue, but you’d never know it with how smoothly everything ran. Highly recommend!

Lavender Ridge Farm is a treasure - a brand new timber frame barn surrounded by lavender fields and horses grazing for guests to walk. It was a perfect and fitting venue for our mom’s Celebration of Life. Tania, Dave and Feddie were wonderful helping us plan this event - answering questions quickly as they arose and offering their recommendations for caterers, staff and even event insurance brokers. Despite a wedding the day before our event, the venue was immaculate, clean and ready upon our arrival at 09:00, with freshly cut lavender, priority parking signs in place and the air conditioning running. Tania, Dave and Freddie popped in now and then throughout the day to make sure we had everything we needed. This place, and its owners, are gems!

Amazing covers! Customer service was top notch.

Nice couple but she really can't do alterations. It's a good, reasonable price to get dresses fitted but she and I talked about doing more than year resizing it. If you just want your dress taken in and hemmed, she can (probably) do it adequately. I also wanted the stiffening layer removed, the straps shortened and adjusted to lay on top of my shoulders (like a tank top; original was a little off the shoulder and really just levitating off of me as it was too big) and a two tier American bustle. She said she could do all of this but didn't deliver. She made decisions without consulting me and when I asked about what we discussed she said it didn't look good and this is the best way to have the dress. She did not remove the stiff layer, she did a French bustle and the straps were just cut which led it to be this almost off the shoulder thing that's just on the edge of my shoulders. Doing that with the straps also made the armpit hole incredibly small. I honestly almost cried when I went to the first fitting - I felt like I was stuffed into a white loofah (with the bustle). I feel that should've been my decision or something we couldn't decided together - she could've called. She could've been honest about her ability if she couldn't do it so I could go somewhere else. I was very upset, which I expressed. She said she couldn't do anything I wanted because it "wouldn't look professional" and "why would you get a big dress if you didn't want it to be poofy". She did however decide to help me redo the bustle to be a 1-tier American bustle. I ended up bringing my fiancé to my second fitting because I was in shambles about how it wasn't what I wanted and I just felt really upset and unheard. We knew it would ruin our "first look" on the wedding day but I just really needed his reassurance because I just felt so terrible at the first fitting and I wasn't willing to wear it on our wedding day anymore. He made me feel beautiful in the dress, not her nor her skills. Ultimately, I wouldn't come here again. She can do hemming and make the dress fit you but if you want any stylistic changes, no matter how small or simple she will not deliver. She may say she can, but enforce her own judgement without consulting you to the point you'll be shocked with the outcome then rebuff your concerns with criticisms on your choice of dress. I wish I went somewhere else so I could've been more comfortable in my dress and had something that aligned more with what I wanted - what I wanted wasn't hard or crazy. It's not entirely her fault that we won't be able to have an authentic "first look" (wedding planning is stressful and this was another thing to go wrong too close before our date) but what she did to my dress certainly contributed. I ended fixing some of the things with one of my bridesmaids but we couldn't do much because there's no more fabric to work with.

I had a wonderful experience at this bridal alteration shop! The owners are so friendly and accommodating, making you feel comfortable right from the start. I bought my wedding dress online, and they expertly tailored the top to fit perfectly in no time. Their prices are fair for the amazing work they do. When I couldn’t pick up my dress because I was sick, they kindly held onto it until I was better. Highly recommend them for any bridal alterations, and they also offer sewing classes! :)

Great dress options at affordable pricing but absolutely terrible alteration services.

Gave a dress i purchased there and paid 120 for absolutely nothing. She literally did double the work and didnt do what she said she would do. She took in the bust area as I said I dont want to reduce from the chiffon straps going up my back but she didn't follow through.

I went for my second fitting after she also got creative adding boning which totally ruined the look of the dress. She kept saying it's the best and no one can do better.

I came to my regular alteration guy and Nimble Needle on Preston and he's charging me the same amount to do what Laysieng said she would do but did NOT do.

Don't do alterations here - she's not a pro and doesn't know the best option and outcome. Buy your dress but take it to professional alterations.

My bridesmaid had the same issue - I'm sure she will leave a review of her own but laysieng completely changed the look of her dressand all she had to do was stick to the minor alterations she agreed to in our first fitting.

Won't be back...that's for sure.

I specified that my drive to Ottawa is two hours away and that I’m specifically coming to Ottawa so I can make sure I can get this specific line.

They lied and said they had Dessy Dresses in Velvet. I get there and they have one Dessy Dress and it’s not the right one. All the velvet dresses they have are knock offs of Dessy and theyre more expensive???

She wouldn’t let us take photos and kept hovering and pushing for me to buy a dress that was not the right one… I just bought a house in Renfrew County area. I don’t have money to waste on fuel to drive somewhere for nothing and that’s what I did.

Thanks for nothing and then following me on my way out and saying if I don’t buy now I won’t get the discount on a dress I don’t even want. Thanks for lying to me on the phone when i specifically asked if you had that line and specifically told you I was 2 hours away.

My now wife Hanna and I got married here on June 20, 2025 and we can’t stop thinking about our day. We wouldn’t change a thing about it, every aspect was wonderful.

We owe our day of coordinator Taylor a debt of gratitude, she is the absolute best. If you are planning on getting married here, I cannot recommend her enough. She anticipated and saw to our every need, making sure we wanted for nothing the entire day.

The views at Le Belvédère alone are enough to pull the trigger and book here but it is so much more than what is on the surface. It runs like a well oiled, finally crafted German sports car, everything precise, in lockstep and at peak performance. From the amazing meals to their years of experience holding special days of celebration, the whole team at this venue as a collective has made this place in my humble opinion the best choice for a wedding venue in the Greater Ottawa area.

This was my first time at Le Belvédère and I certainly hope it’s not my last. As a wedding photographer, I cannot say enough good things about this venue from a vendor’s standpoint. Aside from the obvious gorgeous views, the natural lighting is beautiful to photograph in. I definitely want to highlight how wonderful the staff were in treating the vendors as humans. It’s rare to feel cared for during a wedding day at a venue but Taylor and the rest of the staff made it happen. Not only did I have my own plate of hors d’oeuvres brought to me during cocktail hour to fuel me up, but I also had glasses of water brought to me throughout the day to stay hydrated. This may sound minor, but it’s a huge deal in 30°C weather and the attention to care and detail from the staff is huge. I truly had such a wonderful time and again, hope it’s not my last visit!

There is a reason they win Best Wedding Venue year after year. The location is incredible on its own, but the staff make every experience at this venue truly fantastic.

I am a wedding photographer and when I reached out to tour the venue simply to get a feel for the space and experience it for myself, the coordinator Taylor who handled my request was extremely generous with her time and willing to show me around, answer all of my questions, and now, after photographing weddings here, will check in to see if there's anything they can improve on as a venue.

For a vendor who works at several new venues every season, this is incredibly refreshing. But of course, I could think of nothing to say for improvements, because the venue, lighting, food, and staff are 10/10 on every level.

I had an unfortunate experience at this hotel staying with family in February, in what I believe to be theft by a housekeeper. My sister and I were put into a room that had no where to hang anything. It appeared to be an accessibility room. We asked to be put into a room that had a proper closet. We were upgraded to a much nicer room without us requesting this. This room had turndown service, which I did not know existed. We were never informed that a housekeeper enters the room in the evening to turn down blinds and put out cups of tea. I had small Van Cleef earrings valued under $5,000 that I took with me on this trip. They were put in a jewellery pouch that is lined with velvet and zipped in my travel Tumi bag. This bag was on the same table that the housekeeper put out cups of tea on. We went out for the evening, and when I returned, I found out that someone without our permission entered the room. Although I was alarmed and it felt like a violation of privacy as I always deny housekeeping when travelling, and having never being told about turndown service, I tried to convince myself that it was fine. When I returned to Toronto, I opened the zipped pouch to find out that the earrings weren’t there. I felt confused and started second guessing myself if I took them. It never occurred to me, until months later that they could be stolen. They’ve never shown up. My mother called the hotel to report it and they of course denied it even though they have no evidence that it did not take place. I also filed a police report, but was told there is nothing that can be done if there is no direct video evidence of the theft taking place. I don’t make this statement of belief lightly. I solemnly believe that is it very plausible that the earrings were stolen by the housekeeper.

Le Germain is a beautiful hotel with excellent service from the moment you arrive. The front desk staff are very kind and polite, always ready to help with a smile. The doorman and valet are especially welcoming and go out of their way to make you feel taken care of, which adds a nice personal touch to the stay.

The rooms are spotless, modern, and very comfortable, which makes relaxing after a long day in the city easy. The location is also perfect, with plenty of great restaurants, shops, and attractions within walking distance.

The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is because our most recent visit was in a room facing the roof of another building and the room was a lot smaller than our first visit

This hotel has amazing attention to detail, right from the reception staff, down to the quality toilet roll in the bathrooms. Amenities were first class and great quality. We were there for only 2 nights but would have stayed longer. Location was also fab, within easy walking to ByWard market. Well trained, pleasant staff being top of the game. Well done. I would highly recommend.

Very clean and nice rooms. All the bad reviews from 2-6 years ago are totally wrong. From the bad reviews everything changed, nothing was like it has been written by previous guests. We really enjoyed our stay, the valet service was really good and it was no problem getting stuff out of our vehicles anytime we wanted. The beds are really comfortable and big enough for two people. The mini-bar and accessories are really well stocked and thought trough. By far the best stay we had in Canada, will definitely come again

We feel incredibly lucky to have hosted our wedding at Le Peaches & Cream! Not only is it a stunning venue, but the team behind it is exceptionally kind, helpful, and understanding.

From the very beginning, we were working with a tight timeline, and they were incredibly communicative and supportive as we figured out our date. Kourtney was endlessly patient with my many questions—never pressuring us to make quick decisions—while Olivia and Laurent were welcoming, thoughtful, and always ready to help.

The venue itself is spectacular, and we took full advantage of everything it had to offer: we got ready in the villa, held our ceremony in the field overlooking the pond, had dinner in a tent behind the pavilion, and danced the night away inside the pavilion. There was a lot of setup and teardown involved, and the team was flexible and collaborative when it came to our decor—enthusiastically helping us transform the space into something quite different from its usual clean, minimal aesthetic.

We held our event at the end of May, and the flower garden was already in full bloom. We had no issues with bugs, and the weather was on our side! The accommodations are charming, and the kitchen is impressively well-equipped. That said, if you plan to fill the villa to capacity, keep in mind that many of the beds are in an open-concept space. Most of our guests stayed in Wakefield (which is super cute!) and it was just a 30-minute shuttle ride to the venue.

I really can’t overstate how lovely the staff was—from the little pastries they left for us before the big day, to helping us pack our car when we were running late to load out after we'd danced the night away.

Highly, highly recommend this venue for any event. It’s such a versatile and gorgeous space, and the people behind it truly go above and beyond.

I knew I wanted to get married at Le Peaches and Cream before I was even engaged. I had been following them on Instagram for years and obsessing over the venue to anyone who would listen. So, of course, a few weeks following my engagement I finally toured and booked the venue. Olivia, Sophia, Laurent and their coordinator Kourtney, were lovely to work with and very responsive. They made excellent recommendations for other vendors for the weekend, and they were so accommodating.

The grounds are stunning and so beautifully maintained. It was everything I could have dreamed of and more. We loved having the grounds to ourselves all weekend and having all our closest friends with us all weekend long. There is no where else I could have imagined getting married. Thank you so much to the team. ❤

My family has been buying cakes from this place for YEARS. We would get their cakes for everyone’s birthdays, minimum 7 times per year not including when we just pick up pastries. Yesterday, I picked up a cake for my brothers birthday. I asked for the strawberry vanilla cake that we order multiple times as it is a family favorite. We started to cut the cake 4 hours after it was picked up, only to find out it was FROZEN and DRY. THE ENTIRE CAKE TASTED LIKE FREEZER BURN! It was still so frozen that the cake and the strawberry filling were crunchy. Everyone threw their piece in the garbage, it was inedible. Total waste. Today we called the owner to let them know about our experience, and he was dismissive and extremely rude. He admitted that the employee should have mentioned it was frozen, but did not offer any apology or compensation as we could not eat it. We will NOT be further purchasing our desserts from an establishment that dismisses loyal customer concerns, and does NOT care about the quality they serve.

If you are looking for Mediterranean sweets Le Roi is one of the best . Many varieties you can find and all are delicious

Iordered a cake for my son's birthday, and it was absolutely perfect!
The flavor was delicious, the texture was soft and fresh, and it looked beautiful too. Everyone at the party loved it and kept asking where I got it from.
It tasted homemade and wasn't too sweet — just right. I'm so happy with the quality, and I'll definitely be ordering again for future events.

Without a doubt, the cakes from this place are the absolute best in Ottawa. My family and I have been loyal customers for years and everyone we introduce to these cakes becomes a regular here. This is a family-run business that truly knows how to make exceptional cakes. Can't wait to be back!

I had a very bad experience at Le Roi Pasteries & Bakery and would strongly advise others to avoid it. I purchased a 1 kg box of petit fours, only to find the quality shockingly poor — stale, bland, and far from fresh. After eating them, I became sick with food poisoning, which is completely unacceptable for any bakery.

On top of that, I discovered that the box was underweight even though it was sold and charged as a full kilogram. When I questioned this, the staff dismissed my concerns, claimed it was correct, and refused to exchange the product or offer any return. The attitude of the employees was extremely rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful, making an already bad situation worse.

Between unsafe food, dishonest business practices, and terrible customer service, this bakery is one of the worst I’ve dealt with. Customers deserve honesty, quality, and basic respect — none of which I received here. Absolutely not recommended.

Exceptional experience. We had the 3 course set menu for $55/pp.
The ambience of the restaurant is incredible, with amazing views and windows throughout. It has nice and simple decor, and not overcrowded.
The staff were both very friendly and responsive.
The food was excellent. We both had the lamb confit, and it was incredibly tasty. The salad, dessert, and bread were all good as well.
Would definitely come back!

I can’t believe this place has been hiding in our neighbourhood all this time! Stumbled across it by chance and tried it out for the first time this week. It was a 10/10! The atmosphere is chic, the view from penthouse is beautiful, the food was delicious, and the service is genuinely excellent.

The menu is French cuisine—beautifully prepared with attention to detail. The portions were big and left us feeling very satisfied. We ordered the frisee salad with scallops to start. They offer complimentary bread and salted butter. Then we had the smoked trout, and my husband had the steak frites. Everything was perfectly cooked and paired well with the accompaniments. We had a glass of Pinot noir and finished the evening with their strawberry Posset dessert.

A true hidden gem- it deserves all the hype and recognition.

The fois gras was nice specially the bread that comes with it. It’s more towards the sweeter side of flavors which was new to me I’ve always had it as savory but i kinda liked it. I had the lamb shoulder which was really nice maybe a little bit less cumin in it would’ve been better tho. The pork belly was super good. The pear and almond tarts were good as well with ice cream on it.
The atmosphere, the view and the staff were amazing.

We hosted my daughter's baby shower and it was an incredible experience. The service was impeccable, the staff so welcoming and kind. Shannon the manager went above and beyond to ensure the event was a success. The food was some of the best gourmet food I have ever experienced in a restaurant. We had a group of 50 and each guest ranted and raved about how their meal was incredible, from the salad, to the main course to the dessert. The view is breathtaking! We had 2 mocktails prepared for the shower and they were a work of art--so delicious, even the wines suggested by Shannon paired so nicely with the meal. Thank you Le St. Laurent for an event that exceeded all expectations. This restaurant should be on your list of must try restaurants to visit in Ottawa!!!!!! You will not be disappointed.

Gorgeous view over East Ottawa from up high, excellent food, fast and friendly service, this is a great place to have an intimate family dinner. Parking is across the street and very easy. We enjoyed our family dinner there.
We went back and it's still as good as ever. The views, the food quality, the atmosphere and the service are still top notch. For me, this is the best restaurant in Ottawa.
