We hold our meetings and events there. We have never been disappointed. Very nice rooms for small or large groups. The staff is at our disposal and they are very accommodating. They offer a coffee bar and the espresso is excellent. I recommend Calvary Church for your meetings or events without hesitation.

Excellent location to rent a room either for a team meeting, training or a larger event! There are many rooms to choose from. I have rented a room twice for a professional meeting and I have never been disappointed! Everything is included and set up before arrival, from the chairs, tables and tablecloths, to the complete audiovisual system. There were even tables at our disposal for the caterer! The manager, Dan, is very welcoming and ready to meet your every need! The prices are also very reasonable. I highly recommend this venue for all types of professional events!

We have rented different spaces in Calvaty Chruch since the beggining of the school for different fucntions: small meetings to large gatherings. We are always so pleased with the spaces and the service. Calvary Church offers different types of rooms for all occasions. The service is personnalized and very professionnal. Complete and Utter Disaster - Avoid At All Costs
If I could give zero stars, I would. Signing my child up for the "Come Play Soccer" league at St. Anthony's this year has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I've ever had with a kids' program.
First, the disorganization is astounding. The season was supposed to start on a specific date, but it was delayed by WEEKS with absolutely zero communication from the club. We were just left wondering what was going on. We had to constantly check the website and send emails that never got a response.
Then, the schedule. We were promised Saturday games, which was a key reason we signed up. We planned our entire summer schedule around it. Guess how many Saturday games have happened? NONE. Not a single one. It feels like a complete bait and switch. They post a schedule and then just... don't show up? Don't communicate a cancellation? It's disrespectful to the parents and, more importantly, crushingly disappointing for the kids who get dressed and ready to play for nothing.
To add insult to injury, the price went UP this year. Last year, my child was thrilled to receive a team shirt and a soccer ball as part of the registration. This year? We got absolutely NOTHING. The fee increased, and the value we received plummeted to zero. Where is that extra money going? It certainly isn't going towards organization, communication, or even a simple t-shirt for the kids to feel like part of a team.
This club has taken our money and provided a terrible, disorganized, and dishonest service in return. It has soured my child's excitement for soccer. Save your money and your sanity. We will NOT be returning, and I'd advise any other parent to look elsewhere.

St Anthony's Banquet Hall on St Anthony's Street, next to the Queensway flyover is a seemingly mundane building which affords substantial floor space for catered events and other community social events. The building itself is dated but the venue is usually well decorated to suit budgets and purposes. Whether fulfilling an engagement for a few hundred people or providing a social community event requiring minimal kitchen facilities, the venue enjoys a large car park across the street to make parking straightforward.

Beautiful location, excellent sound system, would highly recommend it to anyone!

Unfriendly and arrogant. Walked in thinking will start planning a family vacation and get some ideas. I was there for good 10-15 mins...was not even offered to sit, no smile, not welcoming, every questions answer was be specific or will have to charge you. They almost came across don't bother me and very indifferent. Sad to still find employees like this who show no respect to the customer driven industry or reflects values of just being a human.

Family vacation to Mayan Riviera.

Melissa was great. She asked all the right questions, and suggested different options for us. We already had an idea of where we wanted to go, and she was able find better departure times, and direct flights to Cancun that we're not readily available online.

She made sure we knew that when flying to Cancun, and using Air Canada vacation, that the transport would be outside, and we needed to look for AC logos, and to ignore all the people inside trying to direct you to other buses. This was helpful, and kept us at ease as we were able to find the proper bus once outside the terminal.

She also followed up with us to wish us our best before our trip, and once we returned. Always wanted to know how we we're and did/would make our experience better.

FYI, the fee was very small for the service 28$ per adult, nothing for the kids.

Highly recommend Ottawa travel at the Hazeldean Mall, and especially Melissa. Will definitely use her services for future family trips.

My fiancé and I started off having a great experience with Melissa Ottawa Travel, there was always open communication in regards to travel plans for our 35-40 guests, who we would speak to for the wedding planning at the resort and finally having to reschedule due to COVID. In March, we were sadden to learn that during a lockdown Melissa decided to find another job. So we expected the same type of customer service from the next Travel Agent Lisa. When we didn't hear anything from Lisa within a couple months of her taking over we decided to reach out as we had questions. Eventually Sharon did reach out to let us know that Lisa was out of the office and would contact us May 26. By May 30th we reached out again to Sharon. Lisa did finally respond that she would get in touch by phone with a day or two. She did not. At this point I decided to involve Sharon being Lisa's manager. Sharon made an excuse for Lisa in regards to the lack of communication. Fast forward to June 21, I asked for an updated pricing as things had changed. Two and a half weeks after the request, we sent another email with a follow up and received another excuse as to why Lisa could not communicate any type of information with us. Final payments had to be made by the end of Aug.
By July 7th, my fiancé and I were so frustrated by the lack of communication and excuses we decided to cancel our wedding with the resort and any business with the company. Both Sharon and Lisa had an excuse as to why there was no information being passed on (even a simple email saying " we still don't have an update Air Canada Vacations" would have sufficed. We are still waiting for a refund for ourselves and our guests and have still not heard from anyone from the company.
I would not recommend travel with Ottawa Travel & Cruise Center at all.

Update: I have reached out yet again for information in regards to our guests and our refunds eight days ago and have yet to hear back from Lisa or Sharon. It has now been several weeks since any type of communication and we continue to be extremely disappointed.

Had an incredible experience hiring Alysha as my makeup artist for my wedding on June 28th 2025. From our initial interaction over email until the wedding day Alysha was always clear, professional and responsive in her communication. She was truly one of the best vendors I dealt with for the entire wedding planning.

Included in my package was a trial session. During this time I was able to let her know exactly what I wanted (and did not want) for my wedding makeup. She listened to my concerns and I felt she really worked with my facial features and enhancing a natural look.

Leading up to the wedding day, she emphasized the importance of having a schedule and being on time with all bridesmaid appointments. She arrived exactly at the time scheduled 6am and was able to do 9 appointments in the 6.5 hours (bride, bridal party and mother of groom/bride). Everyone had positive experience with her!

Alysha was truly so great to work with and will for sure be using her for all future professional makeup needs!

Alysha is so fun and amazing! Our day just wouldn't have been the same without her. She was so accommodating and travelled to Calabogie for our small wedding (2 brides and our mother's). She listened to what we had pictured and made everyone look stunning on the day. We were all hesitant about having heavy makeup (not big makeup wearers :)) and not feeling like ourselves but she took the time to make sure we were comfortable with our looks and it ended up being so perfect! Would recommend her 1000000 times over again!

Alysha is extremely talented, I have the pleasure of working with her for most of my weddings and when I know she is the makeup artist for my brides I know it will compliment the hair perfectly and all clients are happy with there look.
She makes sure to really explain what she is doing and works with your pictures and ideas.

Alysha was the makeup artist for my wedding in October, and the experience was nothing less than amazing! First off, she was extremely communicative and so helpful over email - reassuring for any bride planning their wedding and feeling a bit overwhelmed. She even recommended the hairstylist we ended up booking! For the trial, I didn't have any specific requests for my bridal makeup - just soft glam - and she did an amazing job! I felt so incredibly beautiful. It was my first time using false lashes which went really well, thanks to Alysha's skill and patience. After the trial I only had a few changes for the wedding, all of which she took and applied beautifully on the big day. My bridesmaids and I looked INCREDIBLE! Also, I did not hold back the tears that day, and the makeup still looked perfect 12 hours later. I really appreciated the touch up kit she provided as well. Besides her obvious skill, it was such a pleasure to have Alysha spend the morning with us. She's incredibly kind and personable, and blended in with our group seamlessly for a fun getting ready morning. Hopefully I can update this review with photos once I receive them!

Alysha was an absolute joy to work with. She was professional, knowledgeable, and passionate when it came to helping my bridesmaids and I get ready for my wedding in June 2024. None of us ever wear makeup, so we left it up to her on what she thought was best, and she did an amazing job. She made us feel so confident and beautiful, and we looked amazing all night. I couldn't be happier with Ottawa Valley Christmas Lights! From booking the appointment to the installation of my Govee lights, their team was exceptionally courteous and professional. Jack, the installer, arrived on time and installed the lights with a level of precision that exceeded my own standards. Even when I realized I had given Jack incorrect directions for the light installation, he graciously offered to redo an hour's worth of work without any hesitation and at no additional cost. I would gladly hire this company again and will be recommending them to all my friends and acquaintances!

We recently hosted our daughter's wedding, more specifically the family henna party at our home and worked with Jack and his team on the lighting for the event. I don't often write reviews but Ottawa Valley Christmas Lights did an amazing job on wedding lighting for our home. Not only was Jack easy to work with, he was willing to make changes once the lights went up. It's one thing to have a vision in your mind but quite another thing to actually see it. From a customer service perspective, cost perspective and value perspective, we highly recommend Ottawa Valley Christmas Lights.....and not just for Christmas! Would highly recommend them for weddings as well.

What a fantastic job they did! Our 30-35 foot tree looks like it came out of a Christmas movie. We, and our neighborhood, are really enjoying it. We opted for the Rockefeller lights. The install crew were very professional and took their time to ensure everything was right. Highly recommend.

We had our Staff Xmas party there and have nothing but fantastic things to say. The service was exceptional, atmosphere was perfect and food was great! All 30 of our guests were very satisfied considering the last couple years we never had great experiences at other venues. Thank you again!!

Wasted an hour picking out the perfect bouquet only to realize they lied about pickup location midway through checkout. Don't waste your time with them. "Satellite locations" for alternative pickup spots can't be selected on the website, only 2000 Thurston.

They are not located downtown. They are located at 2000 Thurston Dr, Ottawa, ON K1G 6C9, far from downtown. The google maps location is wrong. When you order flowers from a store called “Ottawa downtown flowers” which is located at 50 Oconor, you expect to pickup your flowers at 50 Oconor!

They can apparently deliver to ‘satelite’ locations downtown, but you need to specify this request at the time of order. These flowers ended up costing me 30$ of extra Uber to pickup the flowers. This was a very poor experience.

Flowers are fine, but there are many just as nice located downtown and not misleading about their location.

Ordered flowers for a funeral with a short turn around. Loved how they tracked and advised me of the order. As it so happened the flowers arrived at the same time I arrived for visitation. The flowers were gorgeous. You are my new florist of choice! Prices are reasonable. Thank you.

My Husband and I couldn't be happier we chose the Ottawa Wedding Chapel for our small and intimate wedding ceremony. Bonnie and our officiant Luella went above and beyond making sure our day was special. It helps that the chapel and the garden out back for photos is absolutely beautiful. If you're a couple looking for an inexpensive way to include your friends and family look no further, these are are the guys you want!

The Ottawa Wedding Chapel is a fantastic host for a beautiful intimate wedding. Bonnie & her staff are friendly, organized and efficient to ensure that your day goes perfectly.

This was the perfect chapel for us to get married in! We did a small wedding with 40 people, it has ample space and beautiful lighting.

Recently had our Intimate Wedding here - affordable, easy to book online, and friendly coordinator, officiant and admin overall. Recommend for a stress-free wedding for a smaller party - ours were just immediate family (but the chapel can house up to 150).

Chapel features stain-glass windows on the sides, wooden finish all over and a garden at the back of the chapel for photos. The party can park in the front, and there is another parking area nearby for the guests. Highly recommend! :)

Palm Tree was recommended to us by friends and I have absolutely zero regrets. Tyler was very organized with communication leading up to the wedding and helped with any questions I had. Tyler was not able to shoot our wedding but the team he has created is amazing and know what they are doing. Four days after the event, I already had sneak peak photos in my inbox.

When planning, I wasn't sure what style of photography I wanted. Tyler helped guide me and I was not disappointed. A few months before the wedding I changed my package and added the videography which I am so grateful I did. One thing that stood out to me as a highlight was the organizing of group photos. When your thoughts are going a mile a minutes, it was nice to be told what would look best. 10/10 would recommend.

Me and my friends LOVE Palm Tree Studios! We got to meet Tyler and his team over the course of the last 2 years for being our close friends’ wedding photographer and we knew we had to have him for ours as well. We never felt like we had a camera invading our space and even our guests were impressed and complimented their skills and actions. I went with Palm Tree to shoot my wedding in June 2024 and I have absolutely zero regrets. Of all the vendors I worked with, they were one of the best. Tyler was super organized and professional leading up the wedding day, always responding to my e-mails quickly and clearly which gave me a lot of confidence heading into our big day. Him and his team were friendly, had no issues adjusting when it started to rain, and were right on time in the morning to meet us (and on time for sharing sneak peaks and the full gallery weeks later as listed on their website)!

I asked for natural, documentary style photos and was not disappointed. Even more so, they were able to get a picture of every single person at our approx. 100 person wedding. I am so grateful that I can look back at these photos and see everyone who was there, with a mix of genuine candid moments and posed portrait-style photos. When we weren't sure what to do, Tyler was amazing at organizing our couple and group poses, giving us prompts in a friendly and fun way, and was happy to roll with our own ideas too. Can't recommend them enough.

I started my own business and the first person I turned to was Andrew. The thought of placing my business in the hands of anyone else was just not going to happen. The confidential discussions and the feeling of trust that Andrew and I have are exactly what keep my business with him.

He is a really helpful insurance broker and listens to your personal needs. I got a recommendation for insurance with all of the requirements I asked for in less than 18 hours. Highly recommend.

I needed to get some beer on the way home, so I figured I might as well grab dinner too while there.
Being a Friday night of a long weekend, it wasn't very busy when I arrived. I was served right away and ordered a Landlocked IPA, my personal favourite.
Went with the Grilled Chicken Brioche. It was quite good. A nice, thick piece of chicken and loads of toppings and veggies.
The service was friendly and you could tell the people working there love what they do.
Grabbed some Landlocked for the weekend and will definitely enjoy them.
Will need to go back and try more off the menu. Also, the patio did fill up by the time I left.

Overflow Brewing was the perfect wedding venue and an absolute joy to work with throughout the entire planning process. The venue is spacious and very flexible with set up. Their team is thoughtful, hardworking, and enthusiastic, they truly brought our vision to life and carried out the day seamlessly. There was also great variety of food options and everything was delicious! We are so happy we chose Overflow for our wedding and would highly recommend them!

I'm excited to find a brewery like this and need to try the food soon. Great vibe to the place and the beer is good. Very classic Ottawa Valley beer styles with bold flavors, not spicy, and blended well. I am excited to try their rotational taps and see what their identity in the market will be.

Love the indoor and outdoor patio space and always a bunch of new rotating taps available. I love their food menu the most of out the breweries in Ottawa as there are actual meals or snacks you can have. Plenty of parking as well. The one thing is the pretzel bites aren’t exactly anywhere near pretzels. They’re more like salty buttery dough bites which are good but I feel like they need to rename this on the menu as other breweries who list anything with “pretzel” in their menu actually resembles the brown pretzel with the salt.

No food in this place, just tacos. The beer is great and wide selection of tastes. Porter is amazing!

We cannot thank Ray enough for his work as our DJ for our wedding. He was organized, prompt with his responses, and absolutely slayed the playlist the night of the wedding. He played the perfect mix of everything we asked for, and added in his own twist (including a grease dance party half way through which was a real winner). He is so kind and was such a pleasure to have with us the night of the wedding. I would highly recommend Ray to all of my family and friends for their weddings.

Ray absolutely knocked it out of the park at our wedding! From the moment the music started, the dance floor was packed. He truly hit the mark and kept the party going all night long. We had multiple guests remark how good the music and party was. Would 100% recommend Ray!

We’ve been to many of our friend’s weddings over the past decade, but one in particular stood out where we were pumped and dancing the whole night! We knew we wanted this DJ at our wedding, and this is how we met DJ Ray. He was very professional and great to work with - he easily handled our ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner music, but things really ramped up at the reception - song selections and smooth transitions kept the dance going! We had an absolute blast and would absolutely recommend Oxygen Entertainment and DJ Ray to anyone looking for a stand-out DJ.

We hired Oxygen entertainment for our wedding. Based on the reviews I wanted Ray to be the one to DJ at it. He assured me that it would be him at our wedding but when the day came it was not him. We were not told of this change. If you do hire this company be prepared to have any DJ they decide to send that day.

Kira was an absolutely dream to work with. I booked her and Rebecca for my wedding in September 2024 and they completely exceeded my expectations. Kira was so patient, working with multiple styles at my trial to sort out what I liked best, and even when I still ended up changing my mind the morning of, the end result was even better than I had envisioned. I didn't have to touch up my hair once, and even all of my little cowlicks stayed in place!

Besides her amazing talent, she is also the sweetest person. She had such a calming energy and made me and my entire bridal party feel at ease. I couldn't have asked for a better duo for my wedding morning. I cannot recommend them enough!!

I strongly recommend parliament parties for anything to do with tent rentals! Not only are these guys organized but they were able to accommodate us in the very last minute when we were in a pinch. All the tables chairs and linens and more importantly the tent itself looked absolutely brand-new! Me and my wife have dealt with other tent rental companies before in the past and these guys are hands down the best we have ever had the pleasure of working with. We had our Valentine’s Day dinner here and everything was spectacular! The food was to die for - seriously we loved everything. The drinks were great too. What made it an extra special night is how above and beyond the staff went to make our night memorable. They customized everyone’s menus to include both people’s names so you can take it home as a souvenir, and they took a Polaroid picture of each couple for them to keep. Service was amazing too - everything came out fairly quickly and our waitress was so kind. The atmosphere and vibe was nothing like any other restaurant I’ve been too; it’s hard to describe, looking like you are almost in a house. It’s a huge space with only ~17 tables, making it feel very exclusive. It was my first time here and I would 100% recommend. Hope to visit again in the future!

We recently celebrated a birthday party at Parlor Restaurant, and it was a great experience! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was eclectic and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a special evening.

The food was absolutely outstanding. The Tuna Tataki was a standout—prepared beautifully with a delicate balance of flavors that melted in our mouths. The scallops were another highlight—perfectly cooked and paired with a delicious sauce that brought everything together beautifully.

Beyond the amazing food, the service truly elevated our experience. Our waiter, Aba, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He made sure everything was perfect and went above and beyond to make the night special.

We are looking forward to returning!

Rather ingenious higher end bistro that really leans into its eclectic aesthetic. Love the interior design and focus on unique dishes/drinks. We tried the tuna tataki which was fine then went with the hen and brisket. Both mains were well seasoned and sauced enjoyably. It's a fancy place and they take care of you well but do expect a finer dining price point.

Amazing staff, definitely delicious food. Lovely indeed.

We went to Parlour with a large group to celebrate a birthday and really had a memorable experience. Our server Allison went above and beyond! The food was delicious, with plenty of crowd pleasing dishes (gluten free options, lots of veg dishes. I loved the number of options they had for zero proof cocktails for those not drinking. The location is stunning!
