The property manager was very rude when I arrived for my stay. When I arrived the stairs to the door were lopsided and broken and my son hurt himself. I called to inquire as to how to get in and was told I had to pay a security deposit of $150 CND, which was fine. By the time she called back to tell me how to send it to her, she decided to raise the deposit to $500 CND!!! She told me it was because I had too many bags. I explained that I didn't have that much money and that I had nowhere else to go that night and she told me to call the police. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

Terrible!!! I arrived at 3pm and the code that was sent by email to unlock the door didn’t worked. I called the phone and a women said to me that she would arrive in 10 minutes to solve the problem. More than 40 minutes after she arrived and said “Oh, we needed to change the code so previous guests can’t enter the building, the code is ****”. At that moment, all I could think was why she didn’t tell me the right code on the phone?! I had to stay for almost one hour waiting on the balcony. Then, she told me to wait MORE because she said that needed to clean the bedroom!!!! I stayed downstairs waiting for the poor cleaning she did, just sweeping the bedroom and throwing some garbage away. The house is smelly, smells like dirty. The bathroom is awful, I couldn’t take a shower there because was disgusting.
The bedroom is REALLY HOT and they don’t turn on the central A/C. The pillows are dirty, the sheets smell like they were never changed.
I should have read the reviews here before booking this terrible place. I am traveling around North America and this is definitely the worst place I’ve ever been. I am lucky that I only rented for 1 night, otherwise I would have to spend more money to go to another place.

Do yourself a favour and do not stay here. I only took the room since every single other place was full, but I literally would have been better off sleeping outside.

The entire building was very dirty and the room was way too hot so you wouldn’t be able to sleep anyways.

I found the host to be rude and very reluctant to host us. Upon our arrival she claimed that my Toyota Tacoma was too big of a truck and that I had to pay double parking, and by parking I mean a patch of dirt behind the building riddled with garbage and waste.

The total cost for me and my friend to stay and park was $170 which I believe is absurd.

I recommend that nobody stays here ever again because the Somerset guest house is an excuse of a business.

No full kitchen as posted on website nor hotel booking sites, electric problems , no working stove or oven. Microwave goes out shorts out . No coffee maker in kitchen. Only electric teapot when electricity works. The girl at the restaurant counter is somewhat helpful. But don't expect them to come into your room and unlock your door while your trying to sleep . No one answers calls in evening so the girl at restaurant counter says she's the manager but I can't believe she came into my room and unlocked my door while I had to get sleep because had to sleep in my car the first night since couldn't get into building with code on door . So paid for a hotel room and sleep in a paid parking spot !!!! Called the guesthouse number four times and voicemail no one answers for emergencies like the Resuraunt front counter ( assistant ) says they would. Finally at 8am someone answers to give code to door and get into room later that morning only to be disturbed by front counter restaurant assistant !! By unlocking my door and coming to my bed and calling my name to wake me up. I was just falling to a good sleep at that time. So much for sleeping here . Some guesthouse , no privacy,broken lamps and bulb was taken out of my lamp when assistant came into my room when sleeping so I now don't have a lamp working again. Called Asst. To request a bulb but she said too late. Well I just noticed it missing when I came back to my room while I was gone during the day !! Didn't have any need for a light in daytime sun can beat straight into room window which makes it even hotter. I asked for a credit for first night since I didn't even get to use the room cause I was locked out of the building and she said she would see. I told her I may not stay here for the week since this is not up to proper standards for guests that I may be here only three days on the first day of trying to check in here. Since no full equipped kitchen ,no coffee maker which was requested in my comments to guesthouse.

Honestly if we’re naming things that were discusting in the rbnb we wouldn’t be done naming them by tomorrow and we have the pictures to prove it. There was broken glass all over the balcony and if someone were to cut themselves because of how incredibly discusting it was we could have filed a complaint against you. We also had to pay 60$ for parking which was not mentionned in the add. The oven didn’t work the fridge was gross, the bathrooms weren’t clean at all and the floors were covered in sand, it was obvious the place hadn’t been properly cleaned in months.

Gilles and Francine were absolutely incredible at our wedding! They were so professional, friendly and they kept the dance floor pumping all night! From the very start, you can tell that they do this because they love it. They met with us several times before our wedding, to go over details and logistics, but also to get to know us and connect to make the experience more personable. They gave our guests some glow sticks which was a lovely surprise and addition. Our guests were very impressed with our DJ selection and I would choose them again in a heartbeat!

Sound Advice DJ helped us bring our dream Wedding Luau alive in less than 5 months. Helping us prepare an epic party that everyone will remember in their hearts. Our wedding event was a great success with the help, fun and enthusiasm of Gilles and Francine. For that we are forever grateful and we thank you so much for your professionalism and Sound Advice.

We were very lucky to have Gilles and Francine to our wedding. I had so many positive feedback from my guests, they absolutely loved our music for the night. They know who to please the crowd and how to make everyone enjoy themselves. THE BEST!!!! From start to finish Gilles and Francine were so amazing. They were not only very responsive, but also very accommodating and willing to work with us. They were willing to hear us out on what we wanted and followed what we wanted for the “vibes” for our wedding- even with some different types of song choices, but they made all of it happen! The dance floor never stopped all night and one of the things we heard from our guests was “wow, the DJ really killed it”! 10/10 recommend!

Spence Diamonds is a mixed bag and I’d rate it around three stars after visiting. There are definitely some positives, but quite a few drawbacks too.

The best part about Spence Diamonds is the huge selection and the open display cases. It’s really convenient to walk in and try on a variety of rings without having to wait for a salesperson to unlock cases or hover over you. If you’re just browsing or trying to get a sense of styles, it’s a low-pressure environment that makes it easy to explore what you like.

However, the staff knowledge is pretty disappointing. The people working there didn’t seem to have much understanding of the product, couldn’t answer basic questions about materials or diamond quality, and overall didn’t seem very engaged. It comes across like high turnover and minimal training, which probably ties back to how well (or poorly) they’re compensated.

The pricing is another downside—many of the rings are noticeably more expensive than online competitors, especially when you consider the limited knowledge and service offered in-store.

At best, Spence is a good place to browse styles in person before purchasing elsewhere. And the endless commercials don’t help the experience either.

My partner and I went to Spence early august to browse rings. We walked into the Spence store and were greeted by the sweetest staff, we informed them we were looking at engagement rings and we were given a board to place our ring choices on. I wish I had a photo, it was so much fun walking into the open showcase! I genuinely felt like a kid in a candy store looking around, trying on prototype rings, and picking what I like. Ultimately we chose Style 71840.

After picking our style, we were sat down and got a PowerPoint (yes! A whole PowerPoint!) about how their diamonds are created and what the 4 C’s are. After, we got to see a Diamond based off our preferences and budget under a microscope! And we settled on a Diamond. The whole process was super fun and felt very inclusive.

My partner was informed the ring was ready and secretly picked up the ring around 2 weeks later, EXACTLY two weeks later, just like we were told. It came with a Diamond certificate, an information packet, and an appraisal for insurance.

My partner proposed, the most magical moment of my life, and the ring is so much more beautiful than I remember. The specs of my ring are (again) Style 71840 in white gold with a 0.79ct artisan created Diamond, it’s the most beautiful ring I’ve ever seen and worn.

Spence offered routine maintenance for the ring (every year), and will replace a Diamond if lost.

Overall I’m so happy and so glad we went with Spence. We will probably go back for my wedding bands!

I remember visiting the Spence diamond in the Rideau center when it first opened and found the experience to be unique where you can try out rings of all styles, shapes and sizes. So I came to the College Square location on a whim as my partner wanted to know exactly what cut I preferred. Being able to go in and try all the variety of cuts and carats was super helpful.

I was greeted immediately and shown the rings based on carat size first so I could determine the size of carat we wanted to design. Then they told me to have a browse and to let them know if I had questions. My sales lady then disappeared to attend to a client in one of the rooms who came in. As I browsed the colored diamonds section another sales person told me that they could do any color diamond with intrigued me as I was looking for a purple stone. Later I find out that getting a purple diamond was near impossible for them to locate but they could do the typical blue, yellow, green etc. so this was a bit disappointing.

There are numerous styles to try on so being able to take your time and browse was great. In the end we narrowed down two styles but without the possibility of the purple diamond in the specific shade we wanted, we decided to custom with a jewelry in New York.

I would say this is a great place to start browsing if you are looking for an easy piece and aren’t looking to customize the ring from scratch. Salespeople knowledge are a bit of a hit or miss

I recently purchased a gift for my wife and thoroughly enjoyed the experience at Spence. The staff are helpful, informed, and not pushy. Transparent pricing in the displays, customization options, and Canadian manufacturing. I went to several other stores before choosing Spence. We could not be any happier with our son’s grad photos through Spencer Studio. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and far surpassed the service standards most often seen through schools. We received 60 proofs on the same day the photos were taken and our photos were ready the day after placing the order. The rates were very reasonable and the pictures are amazing! I will definitely book with Robin again in a couple of years for my younger son. Thank you Robin!

I wish I could give 10 stars. I went to Spencer Studio for my grad pictures and they turned out very beautiful, well done, without any corrections. From booking to receiing the pictures, the process was smooth and easy. He really took his time to take the photos, making sure I was happy with how I looked, my hair etc...

Employees are cool. Don't buy their incense though. Got some as a gift and when I tried burning it, it smelled like chemicals and child labour. It's really smokey as well. Have been airing out my room for like 3 hours. If you're buying incense please buy it from a witchcraft or spiritual store. There are a couple of really nice ones in Ottawa.

Overall this is a great store with a wide variety merchandise whether it be for gifts or for personal purchases they have quite the selection ranging from sex toys, hats, tshirts, piercings, sunglasses, underwear board games, comiccon memorabilia and much more! I was really impressed with the customer service- the staff were very friendly and very helpful in identifying my needs and helping me find what I want. I would definitely recommend a visit. You're sure to find something that you like whether you planned to buy something or not.

Great selection of things to buy. It's all over the place. The staff is great. A welcome addition to the mall for sure. There are some risqué stuff there too so be careful if you bring kids to the store.

If I remove these ink things that you guys decided to leave on because I need the outfit I just got for work and the ink ruins them, I’ll be expecting a full refund, as it’s literally your job to remove them when purchased. Learn to actually do your job or don’t work the easiest retail job ever.- actually I’ll be back tomorrow morning for a full refund as it’s an inconvenience to drive all that way for a mistake you guys made, when I don’t even live in the area, I’ll be taking my money elsewhere with people who actually care about the job they do.

Only come here if you’re interested in a store that only has one employee working who will ignore you. I went this past Tuesday and stood at the front of the checkout for 10 minutes without ANY service.

Our family was just so excited to have visited. The staff were exceedingly kind, willing to share and answer questions about the history of the farm, and very knowledgeable and friendly.

The price was very appropriate for the experience. Great price for breakfast and great attractions for the door price. The kids loved it and the whole family was thrilled.

Went here just this past weekend and it was lovely! Had the pancake breakfast and it was absolutely delicious! Very filling and worth the price to share a lovely meal with friends and family. They have an old rustic traditional sugar shack that they make their syrup out of and I find it extremely charming, especially as I love learning about historical things. The guy who was there making the syrup and demonstrating for us was a very informative individual and very engaging.
I loved getting the chance to observe some of the new baby animals on the farm in one of their barns! The barn itself is quite charming and rustic which ties into the historical value of the property itself. It reminds me of when I would spend some summers on one of my family friends farm as a kid. Staff are well informative and always present while guests are observing the animals. The new red and white baby cow was adorable! Same with the little lambs. Definitely a great place to take your kids as walking to and from buildings isn’t too long of a walk so less chance of little legs getting tired and very stroller accessible too. And of course they had maple syrup taffy which is the one thing I always look forward to having during sugar bush season. :)

We had an amazing day at Stanley Olde Maple Lane Farm yesterday! My husband and I took our two girls, and it was an experience we won't soon forget. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a delightful array of farm animals, and our daughters were thrilled to see some newborns up close. The highlight of our visit was definitely the sugar shack, where we learned about the fascinating process of making maple syrup. While I was hoping to see some real buckets filled with sap or a maple tree tapped with a bucket for a more authentic experience, we did spot some decorative buckets that added charm. We also enjoyed a fun tractor ride and were in awe of the ginormous horses on the farm! To top it all off, we stopped at the stonehouse to purchase some delicious amber maple syrup, cookies, and candies. The weather was perfect, and we made the most of it, taking plenty of pictures and creating wonderful memories as a family. I highly recommend visiting this farm for a fun and educational day out!

Went here on Easter Sunday with my in-laws from England to show them some Canadian tradition. Overall, it was a nice day but more suited to kids than 4 adults looking to learn more about maple syrup production… $10 per person is steep for what you get. We also were hoping to take advantage of the walking trails but there were all closed. Food was nice but expensive for the quality.

Nazeem was fantastic he found me two beautiful suits and was very patient and kind. Stars made a fantastic decision hiring him as a manager.

I bought a suit for my little kid for his graduation when we got home so we can try it on. He said he does not like and it kind of tight on him so we went back to the other day to try returned the suit when we got there they started making stuff up like we did. The tag it was stains. There was nothing. He was a good suit. He only tried it on and nothing he told him him can we have a return they said no then they brought security to kick us out they were not even listening to me

I bought a suit and I went home to try. It was a bit too small so when I returned it, they said it was dusty and there was something wrong with the tag so then they called the security over and they gave me really bad service and they did not want to return it at all.

I originally went to the ST Laurent shopping center to go to Tip Top, but got ignored until I approached them, so I left. I went to Stars and was immediately greeted by their manager, Garfield. He provided excellent service and helped me find a great suit at a better price than Tip Top. He was very kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I left feeling both impressed and happy with my purchase and experience. After ordering the suit I wanted in my size, I returned, and he helped me put it on and fitted it to me. Again, he provided the same excellent service. I highly recommend this location for suit shopping! I will definitely be returning again.

Garfield was so helpful, professional and kind. He easily managed to help more than one customer at a time. His co worker was also very helpful. I highly recommend Stars shops for men and for women, all shapes and sizes. I will always shop here for formal clothes.

04 June 2025 at 5pm..This is a very discriminating Store OR perhaps just the employee working that shift. The employee not only refused to helping a Customer a bit on the heavier side but he also kept saying NO to everything they asked for. YET he had no problem going above and beyond for a skinny Customer!! Your salary and 5Star review comes from treating each and every Customer with the same level of respect. If you don’t, you should not be working in Customer Service. I will not mention any names but you should not be allowed to work there. I will most definitely go higher up with this complaint and we will NOT recommend you to anyone else needing your assistance.

Today (June 4th, 2025) at around 5pm I had the worst customer service experience at this store. I went in with my fiancée and we were looking to purchase a dress shirt, dress pants, and a tie. However the experience left us feeling uneasy and we ended up walking out and going somewhere else. First of all, the employee didn’t greet us, ignored us, and made it hard to approach him. When we were able to ask him for help with sizing and general guidance he simply told us to “have a look around” and then he walked away. We went up to him again and asked if he could take my fiancée’s measurements. He only took her neck size and then made a very rude comment about needing to size up due to her weight, essentially fat-shaming her, and then walked away again. We had to ask again if he could also help with pants and again he didn’t offer much guidance. We picked out a few items to try on but we were still feeling lost since we didn’t have much information. I went up to him one last time to ask about the different types of shirts and he said the store only carries ‘slim fit’ and that the only option was to size up but that then she wouldn’t be able to wear a tie. I started to look around on my own and that’s when he corrected himself and informed me that they also had a ‘contemporary fit’ but he just pointed them out and didn’t show them to me or answer my questions about them. In the meantime he had no issue helping out other customers who came in and had a completely different attitude towards them. At that point we realized that we weren’t gonna get what we needed from the store and we left, feeling very disappointed. This is completely unacceptable and we will never go back, we do not recommend this store to anyone.

If I could give zero stars I would. Went in today ( June 4th 2025 at 5pm) with my fiancée. We are both women but I am more masculine presenting and wanted to buy suit pants and a shirt/tie for an event. The man who was working did not greet us, refused to take my measurements and fat shamed me. He told my fiancée they only have ONE kind of shirt type (but we found out they had other ones). In the meantime he was helping another man, measuring him, offering adjustments etc. I will NEVER go back. I have never been treated so badly in a store. Went to tip top tailors across and they were amazing. I recommend not going to this discriminatory store.

**Exceptional Service That Goes Above and Beyond!**

I cannot recommend Stephano's highly enough! We discovered this gem while visiting Ottawa for my son's soccer tournament. With his grade 6 graduation ceremony approaching and no time to shop back home in Montreal, we desperately needed to find a suit between tournament games.

From the moment we walked in, the owner's approach was outstanding. He treated my 12-year-old son with genuine respect, speaking to him as an equal rather than talking over him to me. My soccer-loving boy was initially reluctant about buying a suit (he lives in his jerseys and shorts!) and was set on basic black. However, when the owner brought over some beautiful deep blue options, my son's eyes absolutely lit up.

We ended up with a complete outfit - suit, vest, and shirt. Even though my son insisted he didn't want a tie, the generous owner included one free of charge.

Here's where the service became truly exceptional: my son needed hemming, but the seamstress wasn't available for the remainder of the weekend. Since we were leaving Sunday evening, the owner promised to have her come in specially on Sunday. When I returned between the semifinal and final games, he greeted me warmly with the perfectly altered suit ready to go.

Later, I learned that the seamstress couldn't make it after all, so the owner personally took the pants elsewhere to be hemmed on a Sunday! When I tried to pay him for this extraordinary trouble, he absolutely refused.

The quality is excellent, the prices are very reasonable, and the customer service is simply unmatched. This level of dedication and kindness is rare to find anywhere. We'll definitely make the 2-hour drive from Montreal again - Stephano's has earned our loyalty for life.

I wanted to update my wardrobe a little and moved to Orleans only a few years ago so did not really know of a men’s clothier. Glad to have found this shop via google reviews. I bought two suits, they had a great sale on, had them fitted and done all in the same day. Simple and straightforward, friendly staff, good products. Not a flashy place, but they have selection and service.

Superb experience with Stephano Menswear this week. I was pressed for time and within a few hours were able to set me up with an excellent jacket and shirt to go with the pants I was wearing. Price was reasonable and staff were welcoming and accommodating, skilled and pleasant. Would heartily recommend Stephano Menswear and am looking for an excuse to make another purchase.

5 stars plus!! We are absolutely 100% satisfied with the selection of suits available at Place d'Orléans mall! The pricing was fantastic and the service the gentleman gave us was phenomenal!! This man went above and beyond for us. We were in a time crunch to get a suit for my husband and to have it altered. We literally had 2 days before we headed out of town for a wedding. Yes my husband leaves everything to the last minute! Haha. We were in and out of the store within 35 mins. We were not looking to spend a small fortune and the salesman totally respected this and found hubby exactly what he were looking for. We stopped by Stofa this weekend to celebrate our anniversary, it was a great choice.
Stofa does one of those menus where you have to choose a three course or a five course option. We chose the five course with the wine pairing. It was just such a delightful night.

Our server was so sweet and made sure to explain everything on the menu to us, food, and wine. I had asked for a few accommodations because I’m a vegetarian and she was more than happy to let me know about the alterations, the kitchen had made for me. Some of the options were just so tasty.
I really liked their take on ice cream, which was a nitrogen infused ice cream that you had to break apart with a tiny little mallet.

The ambiance of the place is perfect with great flourishes on all the walls and very comfortable seating. The washroom is super clean and we were Vibin all night to the music choices. It is not a cheap place but I would certainly recommend splurging if you were celebrating an anniversary or birthday. Five stars!

We went to Stofa for a special occasion/date and were pleasantly surprised by this venue.
I read few positive reviews before booking and then found 1 star reviews after I made reservation, which made me a little suspicious/conscious about my choice.

I am glad I didn’t read bad reviews first, eventually:)) So I’ll give my feedback as bullet points.

1) intimate space if you want to go for a date, special occasion or business dinner. Many people, including us, were here for an anniversary.

2) no kids were at the venue, this felt like an adult place where you can actually enjoy the atmosphere and food! We were glad we left kids at home.

3) minimalistic decor which coincidentally fitted into our personal taste. Love it!

4) I loved the fact that after each course the flatware were changed! This is what you would expect from the restaurant like this. All the dinnerware was appropriate to its use as to my knowledge of the etiquette. Proper flutes for sparkling wine, proper espresso cup, adorable steak knives, etc.

5) we felt very comfortable being served, no judgement (visible at least) all servers well dressed, and I loved their aprons!

6) food was very good. I couldn’t find a single point to complain. We ordered 5 course meal and sparkling wine. We loved every piece of it.

7) although portions seemed small, we weren’t hungry after the visit, and I felt full 2/3 of course completion. The diversity of the flavours in the dishes made up for the amount of food.

8) we ordered Citrus Salad and Cod Cheeks for the starters, Duck breast and rabbit ragout for the main, and soufflé and chocolate cake for dessert. I can’t describe flavours, but every dish was interesting and very well balanced. It was so perfect I was in doubt I was awake :)

I liked the soufflé, this is the best desert I’ve had in a long time. Well done!
The chocolate cake was accessorized with side sweets with different flavours and ice cream. It was an explosion of flavours that complemented each other.

I ended up liking a “chef’s choice” course that came within our 5 course menu. I don’t remember what it was, or what it was called, but that was the most amazing thing I ever tried in restaurant ( there was ricotta and polenta as part of the ingredients).

It’s not cheap place, but it worth the visit!

This place is amazing! Such a wonderful experience from the food to the service. The staff are all very knowledgeable when it comes to allergies and dietary restrictions which is very reassuring when you are celiac!

The flower arrangements for our father’s celebration of life were absolutely beautiful. Between the two arrangements, there were three orchid plants—one for each of us three sisters. We were touched by the thoughtful offer to have them potted afterward, and they went above and beyond in making that happen.

She gave the original arrangement a much-needed lift after several days and many kilometres of travel, and the orchid potted especially for me was done with such care and attention to detail. I am so grateful for the kindness and the extra effort. Thank you so much!

Lynette did an absolutely incredible job as our florist. She is incredibly knowledgeable and did an amazing job at letting us know what flowers were and weren't realistic for our hot August wedding date.
She helped us choose flowers that were meaningful to us (Scottish greenery for my heritage) and was also able to artfully include two sentimental handkerchiefs that belonged to my late grandmother. She made them look like flowers and it meant so much to my Mum, myself, and my grandfather to have that with me on my big day.
The bouquets were also GORGEOUS. I had a sort of white and blue colour theme and she nailed it. The flowers were clearly excellent quality and they lasted the whole day out of water. Lots of our guests complimented them throughout the day and I was so happy with the way they looked with my dress.
I can't recommend her enough!

Lynette did such an amazing job with our wedding florals! She captured the wildflower garden look we wanted perfectly. Everyone went out of their way to compliment the beautiful flowers. Bonus: it's a week after our wedding and quite a few of the flowers are still lovely and fresh, sitting in vases around my house. Stoneblossom also offered a very reasonable price. Lynette did an excellent job designing all of the flowers for our wedding. They were fresh and vivid, and we received compliments on them from several guests. The flowers were delivered to our venue on time and were well-protected from the cold. Highly recommend!

We chose Lynette and her team at Stoneblossom for our wedding florals, and she absolutely nailed my vision (with very little guidance!), and we could not have been happier. She hit the “boho chic” vibe out of the park, and all of the bridesmaids were so happy to keep their bouquets afterwards because they were so beautiful.

Being a covid bride, I ended up having two very different conversations about my vision for the florals, since so much time had passed in between and what I liked had changed. At the first meeting, Lynette kept it real and let me know her recommendations of what would look nice, and the realities of some of the inspo pics I had brought in (I.e. blue roses- apparently will very easily stain your white wedding dress.. VERY good to know!). I appreciated her working with me and offering suggestions to guide me, as I can be quite indecisive.

The next time we planned out what actually ended up being our wedding florals, again she was helpful and easygoing. With all of the wedding postponements happening, we planned everything out but she set a date closer to when she would be ordering the florals as the confirmation date that we were for sure moving forward with everything, which was helpful for both of us to not have another deposit tied up with a vendor in case we had to push the wedding a third time.

All in all, a great experience and I was emailing Lynette up until the night before the wedding asking to add on extra corsages and boutonnières and she made it all come together perfectly. The prices were also very reasonable for the quality of work provided, and she was cognizant of budget as we worked through the planning and was willing to make suggestions based on what we were wanting to spend, which was amazing.

10/10 would recommend, and will be choosing here again for our next events :)

Oh my! The second we stepped foot onto the property we knew this was our venue. We meet Steve the owner upon arrival of the tour and we booked just over a year and a half to our wedding date.
We had the best experience with everyone we came accross leading right up to the morning after the wedding. We had the best day I could ever dream of. Our family and friends did not have one bad thing to say.
We were so happy with the experience we had, during the wedding our bus did not make the trip back to the hotel and Steve and day of coordinator reassured us there is time we can wait for the group to come in cabs. They suggested another plan but people were already in cabs!
During dinner was amazing ran so smoothly, and food was amazing. All the allergies we had not one problem. I checked in with the ladies who had allergies they said it was amazing.
I could not say one bad thing about the place. Yes the price is a shock at first my dad was like are you sure. But once he saw the place and walked around he understood the price of the wedding. But honestly if you want a small wedding and want a place that may not care go for it. If you want a place that feels like home, rustic but classy, this is your venue😊

Stonefields was absolutely our dream wedding venue. We had seen so many venues before finally finding Stonefields and we were immediately taken by its beauty. But what really won us over was their incredible team. Chef Angela was extremely accommodating to our requests and the steak blew us away! The servers were so sweet to all our guests and even joined us in singing “lean on me” at the end of the night which was so special. The biggest shoutout though has to go to Steve! Everything he did was above and beyond from the first day we met till the day of the wedding. He really does wear multiple hats and is extremely confident and competent in the way he makes sure the day goes perfectly. From organizing the floor plan exactly as I requested, to helping our MC’s with the set up, to making sure no alcoholic drinks were displayed as we requested, to bringing us a small grazing station as we were taking our private pictures, to coordinating our schedule on the day of and moving some tables at the end of the night to make sure we have a dance floor. He truly removed a mental load from us and took over all the minute planning on the day of. He did all of this with a smile and while being incredibly present to our requests. Thank you all so much for making our day magical! I couldn’t recommend Stonefields more if you want a stress free and gorgeoussss wedding day!

We had such an incredible experience at Stonefields and can’t thank the team enough—especially Angie and Steve! From our first interaction to the big day, they were amazing to work with. On the wedding day itself, they made sure everything ran smoothly and were flexible and quick to adjust the schedule so we could make the most of every moment.
Their professionalism was outstanding, but what really stood out was how warm, genuine, and human they were. They made us feel completely taken care of, and we knew we were in great hands.

My husband and I got married here early May 2023 and it really was a perfect day. I loved that Stonefields gives you the option of an indoor and outdoor venue in light of Ottawa's tricky weather and both options are just gorgeous. Not a lot of extra decor needed because it was so beautiful to begin with. The grass was green and lush. The staff were responsive and attentive, catering to our needs, quick to respond via email. As the bride I felt so relaxed the day of, the staff making sure I was fed through the day and saving my food when I was busy talking to guests! Our day-of coordinator guided us through every step of the wedding, making sure things were running smoothly and on time. Since we had a dry wedding, the staff were so flexible in removing all alcohol bottles from the bar display. They even let us create our own custom mocktail menu, which was super cute giving each drink a unique name. The food was incredible. We had an awesome bonfire in the evening. We had about 150 people at our wedding and that felt a bit cozy, but it was still really wonderful. A few items of feedback were that some guests didn't get as many hors d'oeuvres when passing them around. Also the coordinator we were chatting with through the planning phase didn't up being our day of coordinator so it took some re-explaining to review the plan of the wedding closer to the date. Ultimately with Stonefields, you're paying for comfort and ease, which is how my husband and I really felt the day of our wedding. It was unforgettable and we thank Stonefields for their wonderful service! Our wedding day really did feel spiritually uplifting and this venue really contributed to that beautiful spirit.

I can only speak about this venue from the perspective of a wedding guest. But let me tell you, the nicest wedding venue I have been to. All aspects and areas of the venue are beautiful, well maintained and well designed.

The food was top notch. The liquor choice was great. All in all I don't have any negatives about this venue.
