We have heard so many wonderful reviews for our newest flower shop, but have not yet had the opportunity to use them. We had an exceptional delivery today. Exceptional service also. They called us a few days ago with a bouquet ready to deliver. Sadly, we were out of town. They quickly and kindlyrescheduled the delivery for today. Today they delivered a beautiful fresh bouquet. I think I will start buying myself flowers from Pistil and Stems because they are so so so beautiful. Thank you ladies from the bottom of our hearts.

Visited Pistil and Stems for the first time today and loved this little boutique offering cute home decor and gorgeous fresh florals/cuts! Got to pick out what I wanted for the cuts and had fun doing it. Sheryl was extremely friendly/outgoing and will for sure be back for more flowers and to find some cute decor.

The peonies we ordered were nice quality. The only complaint is the staff is not knowledgable in flower identification. We asked for a very specific kind. We even showed pictures and emphasized the kind we absolutely did not want because I am really allergic. The bulbs were closed but opened when we got them home and in water. It turned out to be the kind I'm allergic to and had to give them away immediately because I started flaring up. They were suppose to be my birthday flowers, highly disappointed.

I received a delivery of a big Beautiful bouquet of mixed flowers for my Anniversary on June 12th.
It is now June 28th. They are still Beautiful! ☀️

I am so sorry for posting a review this late. It had completely slipped my mind.
I had to order a bouquet for one of our colleague who was recovering from a surgery. We placed the order with specifications on what flowers we wanted and the arrangement and making it look gorgeous was up to the team. They delivered something so beautiful. It was gorgeous. They accommodated everything we asked for. I would 100% recommend this place for a beautiful bouquet. They give every order their best.

I ordered a bouquet of yellow roses for a friend from Skyline Flowers and was so happy. I will definitely be ordering from Skyline again. Amazing service and beautiful flowers.

Happened to be walking by on the way to my sisters birthday dinner and decided to pop in to see if I could get her some flowers - so glad I did! Pary was so helpful and we did a little “make your own” bouquet with the seasonal stems they had in - she designed it and wrapped it up so it truly looks like a $60+ bouquet but was only $35!! Even added oasis to the bottom of the stems since they wouldn’t be in water for a few hours. Thank you so much my sister is going to love them!

Called them at around 9 one evening to get birthday flowers for my sister for delivery the next day. No problem at all. Asked what I would like to spend and what I would like to see in the bouquet. No problem. Delivered the next day right when they said it would be delivered! Great service and very reasonably priced.

I ordered flowers online for the first time from Sweetpea's and due to my own error realised that I was having them delivered to my home rather than elsewhere. I emailed them right away, quickly got a response from Rachel who sorted it out for me. Then, the day before the scheduled delivery, I found out that I needed to move up the delivery window to as early as possible in the day. This time, Sara took care of me. The flowers were delivered to the correct address, early in the morning as requested and the flowers were just beautifully arranged. All around a fantastic first time experience and obviously not my last. Thank you Sara and Rachel for your kindness and the top-notch service!

Here again to add to my last review. I have since ordered another arrangement, this time for my mother. The arrangement was outstanding with a gorgeous variety of blooms, beautiful colours and the artistry was next level. My mother said that these were the most stunning flowers she's ever received!

I have purchased many floral arrangements as gifts from Sweetpeas over the years and was so happy to receive this adorable bouquet for my birthday. I usually buy a bespoke arrangement, letting the amazing flower artists work their magic. Today I received an arrangement in a teacup. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Of course without knowing, the artist included my mom’s favourite flower. So although she’s passed away, she’s still with me today. Thank you so much! Needless to say, I definitely recommend this eco friendly shop with stunning, fresh blooms.

I sent an arrangement to thank our Toronto hosts for their hospitality, it was flat-out gorgeous and appropriate for their Victorian house. Maybe they could open a branch in Washington DC? Think of the creative arrangements using Venus flytraps etc they could design for the White House inhabitant!

This place is an absolute gem. I wanted a flower arrangement done for my spouse, and I went here for the arrangement. I discussed the flowers I liked with the owner, together with the vase, and throughout the day, the owner texted with me, sending me pictures to coordinate on the final result. Who would do that nowadays! The result was incredible, but the service was even better. This place is worth every penny.

I am so excited to have The Zoo Flowers in the neighbourhood. The floral arrangements and flower selection are all beautiful! I bought a small bundle of ranunculus just about 2 weeks ago and they are still thriving! Exceptional flowers and wonderful customer service! :)

Edit - I worked with The Zoo Flowers in February for our wedding flowers. The owner created a beautiful bouquet to display on our wedding day, and a bunch small table bouquets for our reception. She took so much care making sure that everything was perfect and was a pleasure to work with 😊

I bought a few bouquets for special occasions from Theresa when she opened up The Zoo Flowers in our neighbourhood. I was so impressed by her work that we got to speaking about my wedding.

While Theresa was relatively new to doing flowers for weddings, I decided to take a chance and hired her to do several big installations at our wedding, including our flower arch, an arrangement above our table and flowers at the entrance.

Theresa and her partner Eszter completely blew us away with what they created. They started their work EARLY and stayed the entire day to create an incredible display of gorgeous flowers. They were professional and coureous and had amazing communication keeping us in the loop as they completed each project. I would have thought they were doing wedding installations for years based on what they created.

Can't recommend them enough! If you're looking for the most beautiful flower arrangements, go to The Zoo Flowers.

I stumbled across Tina’s flower shop accidentally on my way to a birthday picnic! She was technically closing but left the store open for me. I already had 2 bouquets & needed a 3rd. Not only did she make me the most amazing bouquet but she TRANSFORMED the other two bouquets I had, so that each bouquet felt special! I had the lovliest conversation with her, she truly cares about her craft & deserves all the flowers in the world!!

I couldn't resist bringing home this beautiful Prayer Plant! While I was inside the store, I had the pleasure of meeting Tina and her lovely dog, Nori, and I instantly fell in love with the warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Tina is incredibly friendly and genuinely a Master Florist, which made my experience even more special.

I’m so grateful for all the help she provided and can’t wait to return for more flowers in the future. Thank you for everything!

Nori is one of the best salecats I’ve ever known. She barked me in from the window and showed me all of her favourite plants, safe for pets and good to scratch on. 10/10 service with managers who treat her right. Sometimes I visit just to tip her, I don’t even need to walk away with a plant. Thank you Nori!

Tina’s Flower shop is a friendly walk on Queen with the most welcoming feeling. Having bought many flowers for many occasions. Tina’s the place to go for fresh and potted plants and flowers. 💐

I was so pleased with the experience of dealing with Vivian's florist shop. We had wanted white with some purple. Vivian was on the phone with her supplier to order in specifically what we requested. I came to Vivian flowers to get a corsage and boutoneirre for my dates prom this year. I came in a day before extremely last minute and the two ladies gave me great service with amazing flowers that perfectly matched my dates dress. My date and I received many compliments the night of our dance and we for sure had the nicest set.

I had ordered flowers on-line for a funeral service. They were to be delivered to the funeral home. The flower arrangements were very beautiful. I also think the price was reasonable. I am extremally glad I ordered from Vivian. I will certainly order from this flower shop again.

This flower shop was great to deal with and very accommodating with last minute changes! Very impressed and pleased with the arrangement! The flowers are beautiful. Will be ordering again from this flower shop.

This order did not go as planned.

This arrangement was for my parents would be 50th wedding anniversary (which Dad is no longer with us). This doesn't look like an anniversary arrangement with the pink flowers (which were not the colour requested) but more of a Valentine/birthday arrangement.

Paid $320 with tax, and did not get the delivery as described, nor the arrangement as I ordered and requested.

1. The delivery was not as scheduled. I asked for 12:30-1:00 p.m., and they delivered it right after we left to go and pick up lunch at 11:00 a.m., neighbour next door brought it over to us once we got home.

2. The foil balloon was deflated from the cold. Possibly sitting outside and/or the delivery van too long.

3. The vase did not look like a teardrop, it was filled to brim with water making it very difficult to lift carry without spilling on living room floor and clothing.

4. The flowers were not as described - I asked for them not to be open but closed the majority were open with one of the colours pink, which I asked for peach, blush or champagne (ivory/white) we didn't ask for pink.

5. The vase was to have a big blue ribbon it did not.

Have purchased many orders over the years and it looks like they were so quick to put it together the baby's breath is all clumped together, the yellow roses all in one spot.

Order went from 5-star down to 1-star based on all the points noted.

Spectacular flower shop in Altador in South Calgary. They are part of a blossoming new rennaisance of hip shops and services.

The store is gorgeous. Their arrangements are stunning. And their service was superb. I was able to still get an arrangement put together the day after Valentines.

I had Anna & team create my wedding bouquet - and what a stunning bouquet they created! I came in for a consultation and they asked detailed questions and asked to see pictures of what I had in mind to ensure that they captured my vision, and they absolutely nailed it!! Would highly recommend to future brides and will definitely be buying flowers from them in the future!

First time ordering from Al Frache's Flower. I was attracted to the unique arrangements in their Wanderlust Series. I ended up ordering the Auckland arrangement for Mother's Day and it turned out beautifully. My mom loved it!

Stopped in yesterday to buy a bouquet for my MIL, and the set that was put together was beautiful! She loved to. Very friendly staff, and a beautiful selection of flowers in store for a last minute, fun, and colourful bouquet. Very nice wrapping as well!

Amarilis Flowers went above and beyond to make my boyfriend’s birthday dinner one of the most romantic and unforgettable nights we’ve ever had. The owner personally stayed after hours to deliver and expertly arrange a custom floral display right at our dinner table at the restaurant.

Adore this place! Was gifted flowers from this shop for my birthday, and the bouquet was fantastic. It lasted for at least two solid weeks in near-perfect condition, which if you know about bouquets, rarely tends to happen. White and green bouquet photos attached.

During wedding planning, of all my vendors, Beaudry had the most difficult part of making my vision a reality. Adding to the difficulty was that I lived in a different province, so everything had to be done remotely: I needed a faux floral installations to go on these beautiful but tall cathedral windows, which innately made it a logistical challenge, but in the end, it all came together like a dream.

Their faux florals are quality, and installment + takedown were neat and orderly without any damage to the structure itself. Beaudry worked with me back and forth over lengthy but patient email exchanges, always taking my feedback and being able to build on it, and their part was so foundational to the aesthetic that I was trying to pull off. They had the artistry and expertise to match my vision and in the end, the canvas of the venue that they worked on became a work of art.

I recently ordered a $100 graduation bouquet from this shop, and unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. The arrangement I received looked quite different from the photo I had selected, and the design felt rushed and not very polished. Considering the importance of the occasion, I was hoping for something more elegant and closer to what I ordered. It was a bit disappointing on such a special day. I hope the shop can improve on matching orders more closely to what’s advertised.

I'm so happy with the arrangement that I ordered for my mum on Mother's Day (Hand-tied Cut Flower Bouquet)! I requested for pink roses as it is her favourite flower and it was no issue at all. The flowers are now a week old but they still look and smell great. I'm super impressed with the service and will definitely be back!

Our daughter sent birthday flowers to us from Best of Buds, and they were and still are magnificent. Had to check that they were real! And they have outlasted all other flowers we received. Great product.

So disappointed! 💔 My boyfriend ordered me a birthday bouquet and paid $80 for 12 flowers in a terrible, outdated arrangement that looked like it was made 20 years ago. Instead of joy, it made me cry on my birthday.

Was looking for a florist to do a silk flower / faux flower bouquet for a barcall ceremony, and I was extremely happy with the quality and arrangement. Most people thought that they were real flowers until I told them, and the person in question was also very happy with the flowers.

We cannot say enough good things about Black Earth Floral!!! They absolutely blew us out of the water with the attention to detail and ability Karla had to take what we described over the phone and turn it into exactly what we wanted and more. Our flowers were absolutely stunning and personalized to us! I was blown away by my bouquet and my husband’s boutonniere, which were both stunning. Even when my husband first saw my bouquet he was surprised at how Karla had managed to nail it on the head and deliver a bouquet that was exactly what we wanted. The prices were incredibly reasonable as well, for the quality of product delivered I truly think she could charge a lot more, but we also appreciated how affordable our flowers were. Karla was very easy to deal with both over the phone and we communicated often via text which made things so much easier for us. Karla’s attention to detail is evident and it shows. She provided us with a bouquet, boutonniere, reception table runner, eucalyptus cuts for our place settings, and decorative flowers for the ceremony arch. The arch was a show stopper and was absolutely stunning. My bouquet was unique, stunning colours and beautifully arranged. Karla set up the ceremony arch flowers and table runners. The table runner was amazing, simple, and elegant. Every piece that Karla and Black Earth floral made for us was elegant, stunning, thoughtfully arranged, aligned with our vision, and exceptionally beautiful. We even still have the succulents from my husband’s boutonniere and my bouquet which we have kept and grown in pots in our home.

We cannot recommend Black Earth Floral enough. You will not regret choosing them for any component of your wedding or special occasion. We cannot wait to have them provide flowers for other events and celebrations for us in the future, we will definitely work with them again!!!

We engaged Karla at Black Earth Floral for our wedding in Calgary on October 9, 2022. Firstly, our florals were the actual most beautiful florals I have ever seen. They were perfect, they were exactly in the style and colour palette that we had discussed months earlier, and we were blown away. Secondly, from the start, Karla was so easy to work with. Super friendly and collaborative, and she didn’t try to upsell us when we were pretty sure we were looking for a more limited scope, including small bud-vase installations for our tables instead of large centrepieces. She helped us explore and get at the aesthetic we were looking for, and it turned out perfectly. In the lead-up to our wedding, she was patient when we sent her follow-up info about our colour palette having shifted, and all the info we sent clearly made its way into our file, because the final product responded to the update! And she was super communicative in advance when it turned out one of the flowers we had requested would not be available in time for our wedding. We have recommended and would recommend Karla and the BEF team to anyone getting married. We absolutely loved her!

I ordered my wedding flowers from Black Earth Floral. Even though my order was small (a bouquet and a small table decoration), Karla was excited about me being her client, and gave me her full attention. She helped me negotiate the best use of my small budget, and even suggested budget-friendly aisle decor. The flowers on the day of the wedding were fresh & beautifully arranged, and they lasted for 1-2 weeks after the wedding (depending on the flower). I'm very happy with my experience, and would definitely order from her again.

I received GORGEOUS lilies from a friend ordered from Bloomen. Such a gorgeous bouquet, just full!!! So many lilies my vase was bursting! They arrived all as buds and it was really fun watching them bloom throughout the week. I loved my bouquet so much that I just placed a new order for myself!

Update: I have to remove 3 stars due to a negative experience while placing the second order. I added their vase because I liked the way it looked in the image, it was a different shape than the vases I already had. At no point during checkout or when adding to cart did it inform me that I might be sent a different vase. I was sent a totally different vase and actually it was exactly the same as the one I already had. After a ton of back and forth with them, they wouldn’t agree to either refund the amount I paid for the vase nor to deliver the correct one, I even offered to return the original vase that I didn’t want. The solution we landed on was I had to place another order, with a deadline, and they would send the right vase then.

However, I have decided this does not suit me as the quality of my second order was not good - I ordered sunflowers and they were crushed petals in odd directions and very small too. Since then, I have found the bouquets I can get from stores like Whole Foods and Eataly are much higher quality and a very tiny fraction of the price (like $13 instead of $70+ for the same amount of flowers). Perhaps the issue is with their delivery as that could’ve been when the petals got crushed or misshapen. I have such sunflowers from Eataly sitting on my table right now, so I cannot bring myself to spend another $50+ at Bloomen just for the vase - especially given the tight deadline. If you have a high quality grocery store near you and aren’t dependent on the delivery, I recommend using that. The quality and longevity of the flowers seem to be the same or better and it’s much better value for money.

So the flowers are gorgeous. They came beautifully wrapped and exactly as my husband ordered. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is that the delivery man laid them on the front step instead of ringing the doorbell. I was home and near the door and not even a ring or a knock. I think especially with fresh flowers they should knock

Ordered flowers bouquet for my daughter’s birthday, they were really nice. Flowers were absolutely beautiful & my daughter was really happy & surprised with the delivery. Everything was smooth, ordering online was easy peasy, service was awesome & price is very reasonable. Definitely will order again in the future from this shop. I’m very happy & satisfied with their service.

Unfortunately flowers looked like they had been riding around in a hot car for two days before they arrived … one flower was basically wilted away and many were dropping browning petals. Were not fresh looking at all. Even the stems looked brown and water was cloudy.

I recently ordered from Bloomen for my anniversary, with delivery to a hotel nearby, and the experience was excellent. The ordering process was quick, easy, and hassle-free.

The flowers were delivered earlier than expected and were absolutely gorgeous — fresh, vibrant, and beautifully preserved.

My husband and I picked up a small vase of flowers this past Saturday (March 15) for our anniversary.

The arrangement is beautiful but the quality of the flowers were not great. In less than 4 days, many of the flowers had wilted. Photos of the arrangement are from today (March 18).

I love purchasing flowers from Bloomfields for special occasions and in the past arrangements have always lasted at least a week if not a lot more.

It's disappointing to receive such a low quality product from a shop that normally does not disappoint.

Will probably look at other florists for future purchases.

Very easy to go in and create your own bouquet from their selection of flowers within your price range. I always stopped by here to pick up some flowers and grab a bagel nearby in my way to visiting my mum in hospital. Staff are incredibly friendly and their seasonal decoration selection is great to look through as well!

Bloomfields is my go to florist in Ottawa. They always have the most beautiful arrangements and the service is fantastic. I have purchased flowers/plants from them on several occasions and they have been very consistent. The last event I had was my engagement party and my guests loved the arrangements so much they asked to take them home!

Bloomfields saved the day for my friend’s 40th birthday! I ordered with less than 24 hours’ notice after another shop failed to deliver.

I first spoke with Rachelle over the phone to explain my situation (planning my wedding in three weeks) and after some back and forth, she immediately agreed to do my wedding. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We had to move quickly so after the phone call, I sent her an email with all my details and additional questions. She was quick to respond and even provided suggestions on details I didn't think of, in addition to sharing other vendors. I provided reference photos but honestly, left most of it up to her. In the end, all I can really say is WOW. Rachelle delivered and then some! Everything was beyond my imagination - from the bouquet to the Chuppah. I received an overwhelming number of compliments from our guests of how much they loved the florals. You can really tell the time, effort and care Rachelle puts into what she does. We’ve been purchasing bouquets from Botany for years. Recently we retained their services for our wedding ceremony and was blown away by the quality of florals. Rosie is genuinely the loveliest, and she’s an incredibly talented artist. I had my wedding flowers framed and they were so beautiful, and then heartbreaking - the nail we’d hung the frame from fell out of the wall and the frame crashed to the ground. Rosie got me in immediately to repair and entirely remake the frame - which I love even more now! We also ordered some floral ornaments with our wedding flowers as gifts for our family, and they loved them (my grandma cried).

Best decision ever!! I absolutely love my pressed bouquet frame, it turned out so wonderful, and I love how vibrant the blues and purples stayed even when dried! Rosie is so amazing, talented and was very accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process. I wanted to make sure the blue orchids in my bouquet were at the front since those are special flowers to my husband and I, and she took that and any other notes into consideration when making it. Also she texts you a mock up after it’s made, to get your thoughts on if you want anything changed or not! Highly recommend!
